- Face/head: Yaya's face can change depending on how he forms it, but normally it is very round and lacking a nose. He has a large mouth and small green eyes. His head is somewhat cone-shaped and atop it is a rocky formation with larger ones nearing the top.
- Body: Yaya usually takes on a humanoid shape though he is also quite noticeably not human. His skin is a dark earthen color and rocks are noticeable throughout his body. His head is larger than normal as are his forearms and lower legs, meaning his upper arms and thighs appear quite tiny in relation. His tummy is also a bit pot bellied, though why he chooses such an appearance is unknown.
- Notable Features: As described above, Yaya does not appear human as his body is covered by rocks.
Personality:
- General: Yaya is mature beyond his years, but mostly because he has had to grow up fast in order to handle his unique living situation. He feels somewhat like a science experiment, but also recognizes that his parents love him deeply. Despite that love, he knows that he'll never live a normal life, he'll never be a dad, and he'll always be dirty, no matter how many showers he takes. All of this to say, Yaya thinks very little of himself, not his capabilities, but his self worth. And while he doesn't think much of himself, he also worries about upsetting or disturbing his parents' image of their perfect son. Because of this, Yaya acts like a child his age should: happy and playful, except for his sense of humor. He's developed an intense style of self-deprecating humor that many have trouble determining whether he is joking or being serious. He simply laughs it off, but he is usually being rather serious. The Will of Fire combined with Yaya's lack of self worth also leads him to value the lives of others over his own in almost any and all situations.
- Hopes/Dreams: Yaya dreams about becoming a real boy, though he doesn't really think that it is possible. He does enjoy learning new techniques though.
- Fears: As mentioned, Yaya doesn't want his parents to know how he really feels because he fears how it will affect them.
- Combat Mentality: He has no combat experience at this point in his life and has very little interest in punching people. He's more likely to attempt an escape than fight.

| First Ability | Yaya is able to become one with Doton. Having undergone the grueling process of being sealed into an object, Yaya is able to gather Doton around himself to recreate his body. In Yaya's case, the object that he has been sealed into is a gemstone that is approximately 5in x 3.5in x 2.5in. This gemstone must be inside or at least constantly within physical contact with his artificial body. This means that his body takes on the properties of Doton at almost all times. Any damage sustained by the body is able to be recovered by gathering more of the same element, and is incapable of bleeding. While this gives Yaya a form of almost invulnerability, if the object that holds his true self is damaged it spells out almost certain death. |

He can feel as people step on him, even being aware of the number of people and direction of movement. This technique can be maintained as long as Yaya supplies it with chakra.

These waves of chakra will bounce back to the user after traveling out 50 meters on the ground. These are still images, not moving images, but can give the user a good idea of what is happening if they aren’t able to see otherwise.

The Yamanaka does not attempt to take over the target's body, instead they sit in the background experiencing everything that the target does, causing the target to feel a strange presence while affected. This jutsu only functions properly if the target has less Will Power than the user's Control. Since this does not take control over the target's body, the Yamanaka will not receive any damage that the target receives. Lasts for 4 posts, during which the user's body goes limp.

After performing the hand seals, the Yamanaka will place their hand upon the head of a willing target, and summon up one of their own memories to be transferred into the target's brain. They can only exchange one memory, and it is a one-way transfer as the user can only transfer one memory and cannot receive any other memory. The target will only receive the visual experience of the memory, and will not feel the physical or mental effects of the memory. After the memory has been transferred the technique ends.

After the necessary hand seals, the Yamanaka projects their consciousness towards a target with a speed of [Control] and a range of 25 meters. If this makes contact, the mind of the victim is forced to watch as the Yamanaka controls their actions. If the target has more Will Power than the user's Control, they can overpower the intruder and force them out of their body. Control allows them to control basic movement. It should be noted that any damage the possessed opponent suffers will be reflected on the Yamanaka's original body. If avoided or resisted, the consciousness takes one post to find its way back to the body. Lasts for 5 posts, during which the user's body goes limp.

Inogun and Atama, members of the Yamanaka clan, were proud Konoha shinobi though neither were terribly exceptional, having plateaued at chuunin and special jounin ranks, respectively. While their marriage wasn't based on love, they developed a strong relationship and eventually conceived a child. Yaya was born to the happy couple and the Yamanaka clan rejoiced in the new arrival. The young babe was raised by his parents, with aid from the clan, and the couple considered conceiving another child. Yaya's carefree youth was interrupted by the Great War which started when he was around 3. His parents' partook in the war and decided to hold off on the conception of a second child.
During the Great War, Kirigakure invaded the village while Atama and Yaya were there. Little Yaya, who was only 6 at the time, was caught in an attack and mortally wounded. Atama was able to get the boy to a safe place, but had no way of healing his wounds. The only way to save her son was to seal him into an object and recreate his body with an element. The process proved successful, but Atama had to continually aid the boy in keeping his body together. This was also when Atama began training the boy to control his own chakra, so that he could eventually maintain his body on his own.
In the four years since the day Yaya's life changed forever, he attended and graduated from the Academy. He was forced to start training chakra control at such a young age that he was able to graduate earlier than most. Since entering his new form, Yaya's demeanor has changed noticeably. While he does often appear playful and happy-go-lucky, he seems to have a darkness about him that belies his outward attitude. His enrollment in the Academy did seem to brighten his mood a bit though, as if he was glad to have some direction in his life. Now that he is a genin, he looks forward to where else his training will take him.
