- Face/head: Shikara has a somewhat triangular shaped face and eyes with irises of a light blue hue, as well as long blue hair with simple straight bangs and two longer, straight-cut strands that frame her face and hide her ears when looking at her from the front. The rest of her long hair hangs straight to the middle of her back.
- Body: Her body type is mostly lithe and lean, with very little body fat, and a musculature that suggests agility rather than strength, what little strength there is. In a word, she might be described as somewhat scrawny, although probably not to her face. Her skin is somewhat fair in complexion and unmarred by scars.

Shikara is a quiet and somewhat reclusive person, standoffish to most people unless they're already somewhat on friendly terms. She seems to dread meeting new people and can be completely withdrawn in circumstances where she is forced to interact with multiple people at the same time.
Intuitive:
Shikara tends towards intuitiveness in her perception of things. She will sometimes act on impulse, rather than wait for all of the information to be made available. She also looks inward for her answers, rather than outside of herself. She also often notices patterns and possibilities, rather than keeping track of concrete information.
Thinking:
While not entirely emotionless, Shikara tends to be more engaged in thought rather than feelings, and likes to be stimulated logically or strategically rather than emotionally. She often weighs the odds and the pros and cons of things in order to be decisive in her actions, despite jumping to conclusions often. She's more aware of logical subtleties than emotional ones.
Judging:
Shikara prefers having a defined and detailed plan laid out before she completes tasks. She also prefers to have closure on a subject or experience ahead of time. If she makes a plan, she prefers to stick to it rather than making any changes unless it becomes absolutely necessary to do so. She's also highly focused and very firm in her decision-making process.

Shikara is a natural leader, and often takes charge no matter where she is. She has a clear vision for the future, and intuitively understands how to move people and processes towards that goal. She approaches every situation with the attitude of an efficiency analyst, although she is somewhat shy about pointing out what could be done better if she has to speak in person. Shikara acts as if her ideas are a foregone conclusion: it’s just a matter of time before she can move the players to get everything accomplished. She is typically direct and may seem presumptuous or even arrogant; Shikara sizes people and situations up very quickly, and has trouble being anything but honest about what she sees, if she has to speak up. - Hopes/Dreams: Shikara wants to make a name for herself among the Nara clan and to prove that among the various houses in Konoha, that the Nara clan is the most capable.

| Ninjutsu | EiketsuShow Eiketsu The members of the Nara house are able to manipulate both their own shadows and shadows in the surrounding area. This chakra allows them to use various techniques that allow them to create effective traps to use against an opponent as long as there is enough light in the area to create the shadows needed to do so. If there is absolutely no light present in the area of the Nara member, they are unable to use their shadow techniques. The range at a clan member can manipulate shadows is dependent on their control stat:
Eiketsu: Unnatural ShadowShow Eiketsu: Unnatural Shadow Prerequisite:Eiketsu A technique said to only available to those who have dedicated to themselves to meditation on The Day of Shadows and only the wisest of the house are capable of using it. This allows the user to convert their own chakra to create and manipulate Unnatural Shadows even where there is no light to cast to them and can’t be dispelled as normal shadows could be. This has no natural pyramid of its own and must work in conjunction with Eiketsu techniques at a cost of extra chakra. KatonShow Katon Affinity A character with this concentration is able to utilize Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Katon affinity. Katon has a passive ignition effect. Passive (Ignition)Show Katon's effect is ignition, which means that all katon jutsu, regardless of effect, start and spread fire from their source. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own. Additionally, the strength of burns on organic material from katon jutsu is determined by the strength stat of the individual jutsu.

Birth and ChildhoodShow
Shikara was born in the midst of the Land of Fire taking control of the Whirlpool Country, and while her parents thought that might be a signal for her to be a symbol of the continued prosperity of Konohagakure, although that turned out to be a false hope. While Shikara grew up in a mostly normal Nara household, she learned some of the Nara techniques fairly quickly, showing a fairly high aptitude for the techniques and even at a young age, a very high degree of curiosity and interest in various topics and games, although she seemingly also became bored if she was capable of figuring out the aim of the game quickly, as well as a reliable strategy to reach the winning position. She also rarely felt interested in any physical games, which made her family somewhat leery of the likelihood that she would take up any of the physical techniques for her own use. Shikara did play with a few others within her clan, but she was often reserved and somewhat withdrawn with them unless her parents pushed her into interacting with them, and so she grew up with only a couple of close friends, though they were often also introverted in their own regard.
When she was ten years old, however, The Great War began, and so Shikara's parents were both called to war, despite only being middling in their capabilities as Chuunin ninja. Shikara was therefore left with a far older family in the Nara clan, while her parents went off to fight for their ninja village. During that time, Shikara had to recognize the Day of Shadows with a far more strict and stringent older couple. Over the course of several years during the Great War, she meditated more and more deeply during the Day of Shadows ritual, simply to appease her new guardians at first, but eventually because she actually somewhat enjoyed the peace and quiet.
When she was ten years old, however, The Great War began, and so Shikara's parents were both called to war, despite only being middling in their capabilities as Chuunin ninja. Shikara was therefore left with a far older family in the Nara clan, while her parents went off to fight for their ninja village. It was during the Great War that Shikara lost both of her parents as soldiers for Konohagakure. As if to further push Shikara into action, it was also revealed to her that one of the missing ninja that had done much harm to a variety of ninja villages just before the start of the Great War had been a member of the Nara clan. This culminated in Shikara choosing to become a ninja herself, both to honor her parents as a new combatant for Konohagakure, though she was now too late for the Great War herself, as well as to return honor to the Nara house name. Shikara devoted herself to training as well as to meditation during that year's Day of Shadows ritual, and after meditating from sunrise to sunset with her blindfold on, the ability to control the unnatural shadows was made manifest in her, which she saw as a sign that she was now on the right track. She also eventually discovered an ability to perform Katon elemental ninjutsu, prompting her to learn several basic techniques within that discipline in order to further her capability as a ninja. With such effectiveness within ninjutsu, it was something of a worry that her lack of physical or illusory capabilities would hold her back, but it seemed that there was little cause to worry. She passed the Academy testing a few years after joining the Academy, doing quite well in the ninjutsu discipline, although her Taijutsu and Genjutsu capacity would have been considered lackluster, but still passable for a newly graduated genin.
That very day, Shikara was finally welcomed as an adult in the Nara household with a ceremony of a bladeless kunai, a tool she still carries in her weapon pouch, though for now the ceremonial tool rests alone inside it.
