Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Setsuko's dark blue hair flows down to her shoulders, left in messy, chaotic strands that still seem to come together into a decent hair style. Her piercing light blue eyes stand out among her otherwise ordinary face.
  • Body: The girl's body is largely unremarkable. Though she shows some slight muscle definition along her arms, stomach and legs, overall her body is undeveloped; The definition of "average".
  • Notable Features:Setsuko has no features that would be considered out of the ordinary.
Clothing/Accessories: Setsuko's most prominent clothing choice is a Chinese qipao; a kind of dress that covers her body from her torso to her shins, but with two slits down her sides that begin at her hips, allowing the front and back of the dress to flow freely and not hamper her movements. Underneath this, the girl wears simple shorts and thigh high socks, with traditional ninja sandals. Strapped to her right thigh is a small black pouch that carries her tools, and tied around her hip in the form of a belt is her ninja headband. She also wears fingerless gloves that come up to her biceps. Typically, this outfit comesi n varying shades of blues to match her hair and eyes, but she has been known to wear different colors from time to time.
Personality:
  • General: The best phrase to sum up Setsuko is "All work and no play". The young girl is incredibly serious and blunt to a fault, not really participating in humorous situations like jokes or pranks. This isn't to say she's completely beyond recreational activities, but it takes the back seat to her studies and training in almost every situation if she has her say in the matter. Of course, this also means that she's incredibly smart and skilled, and isn't afraid to let someone else know that she's probably better than them. This sort of thing wouldn't be said as a brag or being cocky though; to her, it's merely fact.

    Naturally, this makes becoming friends with the girl difficult for those unwilling to take her as she is, as she isn't one to make too many concessions or compromises in her relationships. She can appear emotionally distant at times, pushing people away and unintentionally insulting them with her almost cruel objectivity. But at her core, she does seek meaningful relationships with her peers, and anyone willing to put up with her as she is will find that she can be a very loyal friend.
  • Hopes/Dreams: To one day reach the highest eschelon of shinobi ranks, proving to the world her superiority.
  • Fears: Crippling Failure; the kind of thing that she wouldn't be able to bounce back or learn from.
  • Combat Mentality:Setsuko's style revolves around the use of Kunai; her major training outside of the basic arts consists of Ochiba and Flawless Aim techniques, allowing her to use Kunai as a tool for almost any and every situation she encounters. The use of these weapons facilitate her close, mid and long range techniques.

All of these are kept in the pouch on her right thigh. In addition to these weapons, Setsuko carries 35 Kunai kept in her ninja pouch on her right thigh. Setsuko's Kunai are Three-Leaf Kunai, meaning that there are two smaller blade, 1 inch each, that spread out from the base of the main blade. These blades serve as cross guards, and also widen the range with which the kunai can inflict damage. They all vary in size from 8 to 20 inches from hilt to tip.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Raiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Raiton affinity. Raiton has a shocking effect.
Passive (Shocking)Show
Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

Additionally, the strength of the nervous effect on organic material from raiton jutsu is determined by the Strength stat range they fall into.

Jikiton makes use of electrical current to magnetize anything they target with their techniques, allowing them to cause things to be at the whim of their jutsu. Jikiton is extremely proficient at disabling and disarming, taking control of the battlefield and the opponent.

The fundamental skill of [Close Quarters Combat] indicates the user's proficiency to efficiently utilize martial arts and advanced combat moves involving the body, for example but not limited to, advanced kicks, grapples, advanced punches, etc.
Acrobatics:
The fundamental skill of [Acrobatics] includes the user’s ability to contort their body into unfamiliar positions in order to avoid attacks, as well as the user’s ability to fall safely and perform Ukemi and other feats of gymnastics. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Deft Hands:
The fundamental skill of [Deft Hands] indicates the user’s proficiency with using their hands in very specific and complex movements, like sleight of hand and targeting very small and specific points on an opponent’s body. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu in various ways.
Stealth:
The fundamental skill of [Stealth] describes the user’s proficiency in remaining silent, unseen and unnoticed as they go about tasks. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Perception:
The fundamental skill of [Perception] describes the user’s practiced methods of more keenly focussing their senses for a short time. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.

After much training and study, the practitioner has learned how to read an opponent's movements and adjust their aim accordingly to compensate without penalty. This Discipline allows the practitioner to accurately hit moving targets, though sudden changes in the opponent's movements will still affect accuracy.

After much training and study, the practitioner has learned how to use projectiles at close range, even point-blank range, with the same Strength as attacks against more distant targets. Preparing multiple projectiles, the practitioner launches each of the projectiles at one or more targets. For each target beyond the first, the accuracy of each of the attacks is decreased, suffering a -1 Strength penalty for each additional target.

The practitioner can launch projectiles in arcs up and over most obstacles, being able to accurately hit a target that is behind obstructions as if they were in the open. The practitioner must still be able to locate their target by some other means to ensure the projectile will hit its target.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner launches a projectile at a shallow angle, targeting the ground or a hard surface. The shallow angle of the shot causes the projectile to bounce off of the surface, moving at -1 Speed and striking with -1 Strength after the bounce. This technique can be used to launch an attack from an unexpected angle or to shoot around, over, or under obstacles.

Ochiba is a weapon style originating from the fire country, one of the few weapon styles developed by Shinobi and not Samurai. Ochiba translate as “Dead Leaf” As it is a weapon style that focuses on the use of a Kunai which are similar in appearance to a leaf. After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This extends to other methods of combat or simple everyday life as well.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
A technique that specializes in fighting Samurai and equalizing the battle field. The user will wait for their target to attack, and will quickly counter this by sliding the blade of their kunai onto the opponent's blade. The user will quickly move in towards their opponent while also sliding their kunai closer and closer to the opponent's hilt. This will force the angle of their blade to be raised and leaves the opponent wide open for attack.

Having extensive experience with Deft Hands the user is able to manipulate a kunai within their hands and perform hand seals at full speed, without having to put down the kunai at any point.

Prerequisite: 10 Speed
A technique that relies highly on speed, the user will attempt to slap away any incoming melee strikes or projectiles with their kunai. The average of the user's speed and strength needs to be higher than the strength the projectile was thrown at, using the momentum of their own speed to deflect the strike.

A simple technique, the user lowers themselves down and performs a sweeping kick attempting to knock their opponent to the floor, whilst bring their blade into the opponent’s chest all in one fluid motion.

Prerequisite: *Ochiba • Single Finger Draw
Utilizing this manoeuvre, the user is able to quickly draw two kunai from its holster and have a kunai in either hand. This is done by placing their finger through the lip of the holder and into the ring of the pommel, of two kunai, flicking it up and out quickly and tossing a second kunai to the alternate hand, dual wielding kunai in both hands, within an instant.

Setsuko was born to a loving mother and father, and her life was mostly normal... That is, until her 8th birthday. The day she lost both of her parents in the war, their bodies never being found. It was that point, when she was left alone by her family, that Setsuko's cold and calculating personality emerged. From then on, she threw herself into her training and studies, working harder than ever before as she sought graduating from the academy and freedom from the orphanage she was placed in after her parents were slain. And with such a fervent dedication to her work, she managed to achieve what she sought; gradutation to the rank of Genin at the age of 12 years old.

Now, a newly graduated genin with her own small apartment thanks to her inheritence from her late parents, the only child Setsuko seeks to prove her worth to the village in any and every way that she can, and one day perhaps learn the truth of what happened to her parent's remains.
