- General: While she does make some attempt to at least appear kind and sociable when deemed necessary, Kyou is at her core fairly moody and to some degree even antisocial and a tad temperamental. While lacking confidence in herself from living in her sister's shadow, she tries her best to put up a strong front. She absolutely hates being looked down on or pitied. Being one to ultimately prefer peace and quiet she feels no real urge to make friends though she does greatly treasure those that she does have, showing extreme loyalty and prioritizing their well-being above her own. She has a love of spicy food and a fascination with jewels and treasure... these things being an easy way to get a rare smile from her.
- Hopes/Dreams: Kyou's greatest wish is to become someone of worth, someone capable of walking by her sister's side. If she were to somehow come into money in the process... that would be a lovely bonus.
- Fears: Kyou's greatest fear is that she may one day fall too far behind and be abandoned by those around her

Once struck it will burst and shoot out 15 ribbons in the direction of wherever the projectile came from like a homing device up to 25 metres at a speed and strength equal to the users [Control]. This lasts for 2 posts.

Kyou and her identical twin sister Hazuki were born into Kumogakure's Arashiyama clan to a single mother by the name of Yuno, a Jounin shinobi. During their earliest years the pair were practically inseparable, though couldn't be any more different in terms of personality. While Kyou was quiet and withdrawn, Hazuki was excitable and boisterous. Hazuki couldn't wait for the pair to one day follow in their mother's footsteps... not quite realizing that her sister didn't share her enthusiasm. It wasn't that Kyou hated the idea of being a shinobi but she had always been clumsy and had little talent for the Ninja Arts, struggling with even the most basic of skills. Nonetheless she kept trying, slowly improving over time though it soon became quite clear that Hazuki was much more skilled than she was, making the things that she struggled with seem to be almost effortless. Honestly somewhere deep down she felt some jealousy and disdain towards her sister. She would never dare to show it however, not wanting to strain their relationship.
However it seemed that she wasn't hiding it quite as well as she had hoped. Having taken notice of Kyou's moods growing fouler by the day Yuno began to worry for the girl's future. She had a hard time making friends as it was and if this continued it would surely have an effect on her future prospects. It was with the hope of saving her daughter's future that she began teaching her girls in proper etiquette. She instilled in them the importance of making a good first impression, even if it meant putting on an act. And so the girls practiced hard, neither of the pair wanting to disappoint their mother. Kyou in particular mastered the act of faking a smile, though she was glad to be assured it would only have to be used when she deemed necessary.
And so it was that the girls' time in the Academy seemed to fly by, the pair soon graduating and becoming Genin ready to take the world by storm.
