  • Face/head: Asuka possesses a strikingly elegant visage. Her face is framed by silvery locks in the "-hime haircut" style. Behind her piercing blue eyes is a calculating intelligence. She wears a sophisticated style of make up that enhances her natural features.
  • Body: Asuka is a statuesque woman. She is lithe and toned from her years dedicated to her shinobi training. When she moves, it is always with purpose and determination.
  • Clothing/Accessories: Asuka’s outfits are always very put together. This shows how serious and organized she is. She prefers white shirts with black ties and black pencil skirts with a slit in the side so she can move is she needs to. She wears stockings and high heels. She wears a harness that she keeps her equipment in, such as scrolls and weapons. This is typically hidden by her suit jacket.



Personality:
  • General:
    The strongest part of Asuka is her drive and love for war and battle. She doesn’t backdown from conflict because conflict is what she wants. She is assertive and confrontational in nature. Asuka is also very methodical and organized, especially when it comes to pursuing her goals. While she is not necessarily image conscious, she expresses part of her method and organization through her put together appearance. Asuka is impatient and action oriented, she wants things done immediately and orderly.
  • Hopes/Dreams:
    Asukas primary goal is plain and simple. Power. She wants to accumulate power and hopes to succeed the throne in the Lightning Empire. She believes that under her guidance she can bring peace and prosperity to the Empire which will also protect the future for the people she cares about.
  • Fears:
    Asuka’s primary fear is her lack of control. She hates chaos and disorganization, and prefers to have her hands on the rod of rulership guiding the future of the country. She believes that if it is not her even hand on the scales of justice that it will be carried out improperly.
  • Combat Mentality:
    Asuka is a generalist. She focuses on preparing for her opponents, gauging their strengths, and then applying her strengths against their weaknesses.

Asuka was born to the prodigious Ishiguro clan, renowned for its control of the Denjiton element. She did not attend the shinobi academy, instead she was mentored by her father directly. Her father was incredibly strict but she took well to the teaching. At the age of 15, she was gifted by her father with his sword from his time as a shinobi, the Hoshi o Kiru Ken. Despite her training from her father, she had no interest in the life of a shinobi. She lived vicariously through the tales of her father and pursued her own career as a merchant.

She attended a private school studying mathematics and accounting and then also obtained an internship with a family member who was running a mercantile business, serving as a liaison between the clan and the Empire as well as other companies and businesses. In this role she worked to resolve disputes between other clans as well as negotiate services of the clan’s unique property of Denjiton to resolve problems. After completing her internship, she obtained a business loan and opened up an Art and Antiquity business.

Her life changed when her father didn’t return home from a mission. Due to poor management of the mission from the mission office, sufficient information and resources were not allotted to the mission. This cost Asuka’s father his life. After the funeral and a period of mourning Asuka began to investigate the reasoning behind his death and ultimately came to the conclusion that this wouldn’t have happened if she had been working with her father as a shinobi. Asuka enlisted in the shinobi forces.

She began her shinobi career as a chuunin after demonstrating her skill. Her ambition allowed her to quickly breeze through the ranking and become a jounin.

Born to the Ishiguro clan, this user is able to utilize Disruption Release, a fusion composed of Raiton and Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require Denjiton. Denjiton has a cancelling effect.
Passive (Canceling)Show
Denjiton is used to cancel the effects of chakra, namely jutsu. Denjiton functions by creating areas where chakra is weakened and at higher levels outright canceled. When attempting to Cancel an opponents jutsu, the Strength of the Denjiton jutsu and the Control of the opponents jutsu are taken into account. If the Strength of the Denjiton jutsu is greater than the Control of the opponents jutsu, the jutsu will Cancel. The Control of the opponents jutsu is assumed to be equal to the jutsus rank unless there is a prerequisite on the jutsu for another Control amount which is then used, or if the jutsu is continuously channeled the Control used is the users actual Control. Jutsu and people who are Canceled dissipate into energy or become inert in the case of jutsu while people affected are unable to use chakra but are otherwise unharmed. Denjiton is incredibly difficult to master, takes large amount of control normally and for continuous jutsu larger amounts of chakra than usual per jutsu rank, but has proven itself to be an extremely dangerous element that an completely alter the flow of battle.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Jikiton, an advanced form of Raiton, and can make and use any archived jutsu that require the Jikiton affinity. Jikiton has a magnetizing effect.

Jikiton makes use of electrical current to magnetize anything they target with their techniques, allowing them to cause things to be at the whim of their jutsu. Jikiton is extremely proficient at disabling and disarming, taking control of the battlefield and the opponent.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Raiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Raiton affinity. Raiton has a shocking effect.

Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis based on the [Strength] of the technique. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

This user is able to utilize Storage Fuuinjutsu and Force Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Storage or Force Classification. D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The hallmark of Iaido is its practitioners abilities to launch an attack even when their swords are sheathed. This Discipline represents the practitioner's capacity to consistently execute a sword draw and slash all in one movement by gripping the edge of the scabbard and pulling the scabbard slightly forward before drawing the sword. This Discipline enables the practitioner to immediately draw their sword and attack at the start of combat.

Since Iaido is a style that prioritizes speed over brute strength, wise usage of the blade is paramount to the practitioner's success in the style. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge of their weapon's strengths and weaknesses in combat, allowing them to use the weapon more efficiently both inside and outside of its use in Iaido techniques and avoid unnecessarily presenting their weapon's blind spots to the opponent.

The practitioner has learned how to more quickly and efficiently sheath his blades. The practitioner can now seamlessly transition from drawing their blade to slash to sheathing their blade, allowing the practitioner to sheath their sword in half the time, up to a maximum speed equal to their Speed score, for the more rapid execution of Iaido techniques.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The most iconic (and most basic) strike of Iaido, the practitioner quickly draws and cuts with their blade in a wide arc in one fluid motion. This simultaneous draw and attack straight from the scabbard makes Iaido well-suited for an initial surprise attack and for taking advantage of openings presented by the opponent.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A simple yet potent defense, especially against other weapons users, the practitioner partially draws the sword from its scabbard and blocks incoming attacks with the back of their blade. This technique is ineffective against opponents with higher Strength than the practitioner's Strength.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A defensive technique particularly useful when an opponent is close to the practitioner or is clinching them in a grapple, the practitioner grabs the hilt of their sword with a reverse grip and rams the butt or pommel of the hilt into the opponent's body, pushing the opponent back a number of meters equal to the difference between their Strength scores. Conversely, against opponents with higher Strength than their own, the practitioner can use this technique to push themselves back a number of meters equal to their own Strength score. The speed and simplicity of the attack can push opponents away and give the practitioner the needed space to set up additional attacks.

Prerequisite(s): 8 Speed.
A simple technique meant to cripple the target's vision, the practitioner draws the sword from its scabbard and aims a quick slash at the eyes. This technique can be done in any single direction to either target one or both of the opponent's eyes.

D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
A truly unique move in that it can be used alongside other Fuuinjutsu, by channeling into their finger as they draw in the air directly in front of them, the user releases raw chakra the lingers for a small amount of time, allowing it to be used as a seal formula. Alternatively the user can also do hand seals and place their hands forward, causing a seal to burst to life in the air in front of them. This technique consumes chakra equal to the cost of the technique.

D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will hold their hand over a seal, and begin to remove it. This removal will be successful as long as the user has more [Control] than that of which the Fuuinjutsu was sealed with.

*Storage Fuuinjutsu • Tool Storage
D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After drawing a seal formula on a surface, ensuring it is large enough for the object that is about to be stored. The user will then begin placing the object into the seal. The user can only seal objects up to their ([Control]*2)m^3 in size.

*Force Fuuinjutsu • Explosive Tag
D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After drawing a ([Control]/5)x([Control]/5) meter seal formula on a surface of an object. The user will then arm it with their chakra up to [Control] strength with a concussive force explosion outwards from itself.

*Storage Fuuinjutsu • Sealing Defense
D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
By having an empty surface with a seal formula placed on it, the user is able to use the seal as a defensive measure. Holding a single, one-handed hand seal, the user attempts to block the incoming projectile with the surface. Right before contact is actually made, the projectile will be sealed into the seal. While strong, the seal must be the same size or larger than the projectile it is attempting to seal. This seal can protect up to the user’s [Control] in Strength. Once used to seal and then release again, the seal will need to be rewritten. The user can only seal objects up to their ([Control]*2)m^3 in size.

*Charge Fuuinjutsu • Barrier Trap
D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After placing four barrier tags in a square, the user draws a line connecting each of the tags. When kai'd, all the tags are set off simultaneously throwing up a barrier at a strength and speed of the user’s [Control]. This barrier lasts for 4 posts.
