[HENRIN]

General Information Type: Family
Village: Sunagakure no Sato
Size: Medium in size, the Henrin have expanded in size ever since their emergence within the safety of Sunagakure's walls. They are made up of 17 families.
Traits: The people of the Henrin Family are often noted to be tall and thin, but their most prominent physical trait is their eyes. They bear solid black sclerae with two red rings around where the outer and inner edges of their irides should be. More notable than even their odd eyes however, the Henrin are all born with a flawless photographic memory. This memory is so unerring that they recall exactly how many rocks were on a particular training ground 12 years ago without fail. It is this memory that they are known for, and what allows them to provide Sunagakure with incredible security detail
Traditions:
DarumaShow
There are a select few Family members that choose to preserve their knowledge for the sake of future generations by sacrificing their lives to be encased in silver, preserving their memories through a specialized technique known to only the heads of the family. These choice individuals are used as fonts of knowledge, giving the family lifetimes of experience to draw upon for insight. These statuesque remains are kept preserved within a sealed room of the Henrin Compound.
Influence: Since their ascension as one of Sunagakure's major familys, the Henrin have undertaken various duties throughout the village to make use of their abilities for everyone's benefit. Capable of memorizing records, information, and perform various security tasks, the family provides a service to the village as both shinobi and clerical paragons.
History Spawned about 100 years ago by the progenitor, Henrin Shisui, the Henrin Family started from Shisui and over time his children spawned some of their own offspring until small families bearing the families signature photographic memory and oddly colored eyes had emerged within Suna. Henrin Shisui was already a shinobi of Sunagakure, but his contribution to the village lives on through every Henrin that proudly serves the village and their Kage. After the family had garnered its third generation, those that were appointed as members of leadership within the Family mandated the need to increase their numbers.

Most families began producing multiple children, some of them going into double digit numbers. Using their growing numbers and ability to process information, recreate it, and duplicate it from just a glance, the Henrin Family has justified their position within Sunagakure through hard work and dedication, and in time began purchasing more property within the village to make room for their increasing numbers, yet the original compound of the Henrin Family remains their ancestral home.

It is within these walls that a sanctum was established for the members that wished to follow Shisui's path and become a Daruma in service of future generations. Since their establishment within Sunagakure as a major family, there have been several family members that have taking on the path of the Daruma and the Henrin compound is now protected by the family leaders at almost all times to ensure their knowledge remains safe for future generations.
Shinobi Information Definitions:
Photographic MemoryShow
Those born to the Henrin Family are born with a flawless photographic memory, capable of memorizing even the most miniscule and forgettable events without fail. For this reason, the Henrin are often employed in security and clerical positions, their memory being put to excellent use for archival of information. The Henrin are taught to hone and foster this gift from an early age, as it serves them well in any walk of life be they shinobi or otherwise.
Family HierarchyShow
The Henrin Family is lead by a collective that is in turn lead by a pair of shinobi. The collective itself consists of five members from the family that have either proven themselves worthy of leading their people or have been appointed such a position. Shinobi and non-shinobi make up this group of five individuals. The pair of shinobi that lead the collective bring the number of leaders to seven total, these two currently active shinobi that lead the collective handle liaising between the village and family as well as being the primary ones that know how to access the Daruma. The seven leaders of the Henrin do not engage in missions unless absolutely necessary as they maintain the Family Compound and protect the village, assuming they are shinobi that is. The leaders work much like a council, and given their odd number of members, they never have a stalemate decision.
Ryuusei KenShow
The Falling Star Fist, or Ryuusei Ken, is the primary Taijutsu fighting style of the Henrin Family, A style that revolves around agile movement and barraging opponents with physical attacks. When they prepare to use this style they will adopt what appears to be a rather solitary stance where they have one leg shifted in front of them, knee bent with their hips and upper body twist to accommodate the shift in position, this creates a more relaxed and flexible leg stance. While assuming this stance they will their forward arm raise up to chest level, extended out in front of them with the elbow slightly bent to position their palm facing down and their fingers in a relaxed position. Their other arm will be raised as well, but with their elbow more prominent bend as their hand is close to their chest, palm facing forward with the fingers similarly relaxed. Capable of engaging in a highly mobile style of fighting using dodges, rolls, and flips, the family member is able to utilize acrobatic moves as parts of their attacks. While not above simple running, the style itself primarily uses tumbling as a means of maneuvering around opponents in close quarters while delivering strikes to their opponents.

Eidetic TechniquesShow
D Rank:
~Eideticism – Recall -Transcription
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~Eideticism – Recall – Details
While the user has access to writing materials, they will enter a trance like state while recalling a memory in full detail. The Henrin will proceed to transcribe anything they might have seen onto paper. This can be anything from a book they might have read to drawing a portrait of a person they might have seen. The process itself can take anywhere from a post to 5 posts depending on the complexity of the transcription they're performing

~Eideticism – Rapid Recall
D-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
By quickly using their Doujutsu, the family member can recall a small portion of any memory in a fraction of a second, in order to recall specific details such as clones, Genjutsu triggers, and the like. This takes almost no focus or effort, allowing The family member to recall the detail with pinpoint accuracy and speed
C Rank:
~Eideticism – Recall – Details
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
By seeing and recording any specific event, the family member recalls the event, and then replays the event in their head, but in a more specific manner. In doing so, they are able to memorize the minutest detail, from number of buttons on a shirt to the number of pebbles on the ground. However, doing so takes a big strain on the user, making this unable to be used in battle, unless they have two full posts to concentrate on recalling the memorizes and pick out the details.

~Eideticism – Recall – Scenery
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
By memorizing their surroundings with keen detail, the family member is able to recall the scenery, and, going above that, see the scenery in almost any angle. The reconstruction is done entirely by their eye, letting them 'see' in each different part of the area. However, there are limitations. This doesn't allow them to actually see through anything, but, the eye 'fills in' what isn't there. So, if someone is hiding by a bush, they would see a normal bush. It takes a full post to complete the picture, so other Dosatsugan jutsu cannot be used.

~Eideticism - Technique Prediction
C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Using their ability to follow and analyze their opponent, the family member will watch carefully for any form of movement. Using this technique, the Henrin can react to an opponent's movement much faster and more precisely, allowing the member much more oppurtunity for a counter attack or dodge in encounters with her enemy. This level of the technique only allows for the Henrin to focus on a single target.

~Eideticism - Pattern Recognition
C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Using their photographic memory, a Henrin can effectively memorize the way an opponent utilized a specific Taijutsu technique. Thereafter, should that opponent attempt to use the same technique while the Henrin has their eye open, they can almost instinctively react to it as they have memorized and figured out the technique the first time. Essentially, the same Taijutsu technique does not normally work on a Henrin twice.
B-Ranked:
~Eideticism – Illusion Resistance
B-Ranked Taijutsu Disciplie
Prerequisite: ~Eideticism – Recall – Scenery
This technique allows a Henrin who has memorized the surrounding area to point out even the most well hidden visual illusion genjutsu. They do this by focusing on the memory they have of their area and comparing it to what they see, and the overlay of information lets them spot even the smallest differences, thus rendering most visual illusions ineffective . This technique is only valid if the Henrin memorized their surroundings with ~Eideticism – Recall – Scenery, and only applies to illusion genjutsu created after the Henrin has memorized the area. This level of the technique can only identify B rank or lower visual illusions, as anything higher than B rank illusions are too well made to be discerned by this technique.

~Eideticism - Multi-prediction
B-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: Eideticism - Technique Prediction
Utilizing the same principle as the original on a larger scale, the Henrin will focus on a maximum 6 opponents. This allows the member to follow and predict the movements of their enemies with incredible precision and speed just as the original technique functions, focusing on each of them with complete attention by darting their eyes from target to target to keep track.
A-Rank:
~Eideticism – Recall – Daruma Mode
A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: One of the family leaders or taught IC by a family leader.
Due to the archive of Daruma mode family members, the family heads all normally have this jutsu. After focusing their mind, they place their right hand over the Daruma statue's eyes, in the form of covering them, then put their left hand on the back of the head, holding it still. Then, whenever they tap in to their own Dosatsugan. The family member is able to sift through and relive any event that the Daruma mode family member had witnessed.
Ryuusei Ken TaijutsuShow
D Rank:
~Ryuusei Ken – Heavenly Impact
D-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
This is more of a base technique, rather than a specific one, but, while using kicks and punches, the user waits for exactly the right moment, then, in a flash of movement, strikes with all of their power. This is heavily reliant on the Henrin's speed; the higher their speed stat, the harder it will be for an opponent to read their attacks and react.

~Ryuusei Ken – Shooting Star
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
This attack is a simple in nature, while being approached by the opponent, the family member will hop up. During the hop they will bring up their back leg into a snap kick aimed at the opponent's head, shifting to their other leg as they land.

~Ryuusei Ken – Arcing Star
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
While engaging an opponent in close quarters combat and making use of their Taijutsu skills and doujutsu, the Henrin will hop up while performing a back flip. Extending their leg, they will aim this flip kick towards an opponents chin in the hopes of injuring them.

~Ryuusei Ken – Rising Star
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Tumbling forward into a roll, the Henrin will roll along the ground toward their opponent before putting their hands against the ground and launching themselves into an upward kick aimed at the opponents head. The user usually uses this to close the gap between themselves and their opponent, using the kick to try and launch them into the air if their they have more strength than their opponent.

~Ryuusei Ken – Split Star
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The attack is a simple two-handed pushing motion palm strike delivered from around the level of the Henrin's abdomen. The simplicity of the technique masks the substantial power behind it as they thrust both palms into their opponent in an attempt to knock them back in an attempt to unbalance them.

~Ryuusei Ken – Skipping Star
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
From their stance, the family member will lunge forward their opponent in a leaping stride. As the make this leaping stride, they will attempt to lunge into them, fist-first, in an attempt to smash into them with all their might while closing the gap between them quickly.

~Ryuusei Ken – Grounded Star
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Going into a roll after launching themselves forward, the family member will tumble toward their opponent before righting themselves into a kneeling position that ends with a crouching punch toward the opponents lower body.

~Ryuusei Ken – Spinning Star
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user of this technique will quickly somersault forward with one of their legs outstretched, aiming to slam it down into the opponent as they come down. Aiming for the head and shoulders, the Henrin will attempt to injure their opponent in the hopes of hindering their arm movements or disorienting them briefly.
C Rank:
~Ryuusei Ken – Slamming Comet
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The attack is a simple, yet strong, forward-stepping straight side kick. Usually the user will close the gap with some rapid movements before planting one foot firmly on the ground to give way to the attack. Raising the leg they will kick with, the user will thrust it forward towards the opponents stomach or lower back.

~Ryuusei Ken – Stardust
C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Since the family member has the ability to remember exactly where they hit, they are able to utilize their Taijutsu skills to their maximum ability. Rather than putting their full power into each hit, they purposefully tone down their own hits, making their moves also just ‘barely’ miss, while in fact they are hitting with an incredible accuracy along with using the maximum power possible for the style. In doing so, each actual hit barely feels like anything at all, until the ‘final’ hit. This will make it seem like a whole lot more power was in the actual hit, due to the previous damage, while also causing a massive pain throughout the target’s body.

~Ryuusei Ken – Shredding Comet
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~Ryuusei Ken – Stardust
Shifting toward their opponent, the Henrin will begin forward-stepping toward their opponent while performing a series of open palm slashes. Usually performing three to five of these in a row to make use of Snapshot in an attempt to injure their opponents to the best of their ability.

~Ryuusei Ken – Soaring Comet
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~Ryuusei Ken – Stardust
An advanced form of Rising Star, the family member will roll to close the gap between them and their opponent before forming an upward flying dropkick to try and knock their opponent up into the air. However, this technique can go further if the Henrin is able to land the first hit. They are able to perform a series of pedaling motions to kick the opponent multiple times.

~Ryuusei Ken – Orbiting Comet
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
A repositioning move within Ryuusei Ken, the Henrin will attempt to lunge toward their opponent and grab them by the shoulders. Should they prove successful in this grapple, they can use their opponent as leverage and flip over them, landing on the other side of them. This can be used to position the family member behind their opponent for either further Close Quarters Combat, or to place them in harms way should a projectile attack be inbound.

~Ryuusei Ken – Forceful Comet
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~Ryuusei Ken – Stardust
Leaping upward, the Henrin will kick while performing a series of spinning motions. They will kick with every full rotation they perform(up to four kicks), usually using this move to counter an opponent that is coming at them from the air or to attempt a flurry of blows against an opponent trying to back away from them on the ground by leaping forward instead of upwards.
B Rank:
~Ryuusei Ken – Skyward Meteor
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~Ryuusei Ken – Stardust
Rolling forward to close the gap between them and their opponent, the Henrin will push themselves into an upward kick with both legs to knock their opponent into the air. Should they succeeded, they can attempt to perform a flurry of kicks as they travel up with opponent before finishing with two forward high kicks to the face that would send the opponent hurtling away.

~Ryuusei Ken – Meteor Hammer
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~Ryuusei Ken – Stardust, ~Ryuusei Ken – Shredding Comet, 23 Instinct
Adopting a grounded stance, the Henrin will dash forward before thrusting a palm at their opponents solar plexus to knock the wind out of them. If this connects, the Henrin will perform an upward palm strike toward their jaw before following up with a series of open palm slashes before jumping into a spin and bringing both arms down toward the opponents shoulders, aiming for their clavicles in an attempt to injure them greatly or in the hopes of breaking their collar bones.

~Ryuusei Ken – Breakthrough Meteor
B-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
After years of training in their style and developing their skills in acrobatic movement, the Henrin mind is capable of looking for gaps or openings in an opponents offense or defense. Even the slightest of shift in stance would give way to a Henrin's eye to detail in dismantling and exploiting any openings in an opponents guard. These openings can be anything from a place to land a blow to a space where they can slip between the gaps through their acrobatics.
A Rank:
~Ryuusei Ken – Meteor Slipstream
A-Ranked Taijutsu Manuever
Prerequisite: 35+ Strength, ~Ryuusei Ken – Orbiting Comet
Lunging toward their opponent, the Henrin will attempt to grab them by their shoulders. Should this grab attempt prove successful, the Henrin will flip up using their opponent as leverage. Instead of landing on the other side of their opponent, the Henrin will instead yank them around as they start rapidly spinning, creating a small cyclone as they're both suspended briefly in the air. As the opponent is thrown violently to the ground by the cyclone, the Henrin lands in a crouched position on their feet.

~Ryuusei Ken – Burning Meteor
A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 35+ Speed, ~Ryuusei Ken – Rising Star
Tumbling forward, the Henrin will forgo rolling to go right into the launch portion of Rising Star. Both feet will be thrust toward the opponent as the Henrin launches themselves with all their speed and might while angling a kick toward their intended target. During the brief moment between launching and impact, the feet and lower legs of the Henrin will move with such speed that they will catch fire, the Henrin's attack burning their opponent as it hits before the flames quickly die out.
Family NinjutsuShow
D Rank:
~Eideticism – Recall – Implantation
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
The Henrin will focus intently on a memory of theirs before laying both their hands upon a persons head. They will then proceed to lock eyes with them as they implant a memory of their choosing into the target from their own mind. This memory implantation is temporary but it allows the Henrin to share information with another person more easily. While the person won't recall all the exact details like the Henrin would(unless they are a Henrin), they can interpret the majority of the information transmitted into their brain. This implanted memory will only last for 2 posts before it fades from the recipients mind.

~Lingering Way – Trail of the Novice
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, the Henrin will proceed to create a small chakra shell around their arms and legs. These chakra shells mimic the movements of the Henrin's arms and legs, creating a sort of tracer effect that moves with a strength and speed equal to the Henrin's [Control] The Tracers are only usable in melee combat, adding an additional impact to any attack delivered for as long as the duration persists. These arm Tracers will last for a total of 2 posts before dissipating and they seem to passively exist within the Henrin's arms and legs when not following their movements.

~Eideticism – Daruma Mode
S-Ranked Ninjutsu
Due to the family member's life span of only that of a normal human, the family members devised this jutsu to keep the knowledge that they have for later periods through this jutsu, even though it ends their own lives. To start the ritual, the family member meditates for three weeks, without eating, sleeping, or anything else. During those three weeks, the family member starts to collect and sift through all the scenes in their memories, categorizing the information into a type of encyclopedia. Then, once this is over with, the family member then starts the second stage of the process. In a very quick and painful motion, another family member then pours molten silver over the family member, still in the meditative state. This causes the family member to die, but, due to their state, they have no real knowledge of when the process starts, making it over before they actually notice it. In this state, their eyes open, and another Henrin member can tap into their memories using the ~Eideticism – Recall – Daruma Mode technique.
