[Dasu]

General Information

Type: Clan
Village: Sunagakure no Sato
Size: Medium (20ish families)
Traits: Clan members tend to have pale white or gray hair and pale skin. During their first years as genin, clan members receive a tattoo of their clan symbol somewhere on their bodies.
Traditions:
Infanticide:
The very first tradition that sticks out like a sore thumb compared to every clan or family in the world is the Dasu's strict adherence to infanticide. Sunagakure no Sato is fully aware of the act, but turns more of a blind eye to that part of the clan's workings, making sure that it is kept secret from the rest of the village. Knowing that any baby that isn't born strong, they ritualistically murder any babies that aren't fully healthy. As expected as well, if a child is born that has an obvious physical defect, such as a stump leg or a caved in skull, they are also included into the pile. Once murdered, the babies are then cremated and their ashes are spread in the sands surrounding the clan compound, which is on the edge of the village. For the most part, this is only known to those in the clan and higher ups in the village, who know the true reason for the act. Even though the Dasu have a higher rate of birth defects, due to their bloodline, than most, this only occurs in a marginally small amount of births.
Graduation:
For even more emphasis on the clan member's dedication to their village, whenever a Dasu graduates from the Academy, they able to receive the honor of having a tattoo of the clan's symbol on their body.
Influence: While they are still a relatively small clan despite having been in Sunagakure for years, the Dasu have two main ways that they help the village. The first is being prized body guards, being able to protect high priority targes. Two figures of great note that stand out are Unten and Oben, two Dasu twins that have proven to be a tremendous help to Ouji, Hito during his rise to Kazekage and as he became one. Additionally, the Dasu are known for their abilities to rehabilitate the recovering wounded in Suna's hospitals, using their abilities to try and help increase recovery rates.
Clan Personality: Compared to some other clans, the Dasu are very down to earth, making sure to always know where they came from. From this, they are almost always willing to help others out, even at a great personal cost.
History Originally a roaming nomadic tribe of warriors, the Dasu traveled Wind Country, searching for ways of putting their bloodline to use. While they started out using it on each other, they eventually found that ninja from the surrounding villages were much stronger hosts, inciting the clan to join into Sunagakure no Sato. At first, the clan joining was done in peace, eventually, it became known of the clan's practice of imfanticide. This was initially met with disapproval and near instant expulsion from the village, but due to the Third Kazekage's intervention, gifting them clemency, they were able to continue acting in the village. Knowing that the clan had their reasons, the Kazekage made sure that clan wasn't seen as favorites by having them pull their weight and work for the betterment of Suna.

As time passed, they continued to prove their worth to Sunagakure no Sato, serving in all ranks and types of warriors and spies. Around the time of the Seventh Kazekage, Dasu Nandaba began working within the hospital of Suna. During this time, he discovered he was able to utilize his clan's blood line to help rehabilitate wounded shinobi and speed their recovery process, helping bolster the clan's ability to contribute to Sunagakure's people.

While most of the clan members didn't become iijutsu specialists after this discovery, the ones that lacked the ability to find willing partners to deploy on missions with took up the medical arts to help make themselves useful in other fields, while others took to the normal tradition and became body guards, utilizing their abilities to the fullest.
Shinobi Information Definitions:
Fused:
The state of a clan member inside the body of another person. While fused, any physical damage that is done to the host is also transferred to the parasite.
Parasite:
The parasite is the clan member that is inside another's body, whether the host wants them or not. While in parasite form, the clan member doesn't need to consume food and uses very little energy, unless doing strenuous activity. Additionally, while in this form, they slowly take energy from their host in order to function, causing a minor strain on the host.
Host:
The host is the body in which a clan member resides in. There are three types of hosts: preferred, willing, and unwilling, which are self-descriptive. The preferred host is a singular person who they have a close relationship with and have fused with the most, and have spent at least the past three threads with them.
Requirements:
 • Must have Molecular Fusion: Preferred
 • Control must be 5 higher than the average for their rank.
Kekkei Genkai:
Ability:
Infiltration Due to their genetic abilities, clan members are able to break down the molecules of their own body and fuse with other living beings. This fusion is heavily dependent on their endurance. While fused, they take all damage that the host body takes, so if the host dies, there is a very high chance that the parasite will die. Due to the fusion, if one is affected by a genjutsu, the other is as well, as they both have interconnected chakra systems and bodies.

~[Molecular Fusion: Fire Arms]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Katon Affinity
Channeling chakra into their host's arms, the Dasu causes a slight aura of Katon to appear over the host's arms. This aura can give off burns to anyone that the host hits, and can carve through defenses of [Control] or less strength with ease.

~[Molecular Fusion: Direct Connection]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
By channeling chakra into their host's ears, the Dasu is able to 'speak' to them, without any sound being created.

~[Molecular Fusion: Effortless Preferred]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the user will near instantly meld with their preferred host without much effort.

~[Molecular Fusion: Willing]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
By breaking down their molecules, the clan member can fuse with a willing host, after doing the needed hand seals, taking a full post. This process takes a full post to complete in either separating or fusing. The willing host must open their body up to the clan member.

~[Molecular Fusion: Spirit Pair Regeneration]
B-Ranked Iijutsu
Prerequisite: Iijutsu concentration
If either the host or the parasite is injured, the clan member completes the needed hand seals, and then focuses on channeling chakra to boost the recovery rate of the host or parasite, allowing for faster healing of the host or parasite, while also healing minor to moderate injuries over the course of up to a full post.

~[Fuuton - Molecular Fusion: Twin Windmill]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Fuuton Affinity
After doing the needed hand seals, the Dasu and their host will start spinning in a circle, while the Dasu works on channeling Fuuton chakra around each of the body parts of their host and themselves, causing it to build up. Ending with a complete and total stop, the windmill is sent off, at a speed and strength equal to the Dasu's [control]. While completing this jutsu, the host, if able to concentrate while spinning, is able to add jutsu to the whirlwind, potentially strengthening it.

~[Molecular Fusion: Forced]
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
By breaking down their molecules, the clan member can fuse to an unwilling host, after doing the needed hand seals. The process takes a full post to complete in either separating or fusing. The host, if they chose, can attempt to fight off the invasion, requiring their full attention and willpower. If the host's control is higher than the parasite's control, they will be able to successfully fend off the parasite, partially dazing the clan member. Additionally, during the meld, the host can attempt to physically remove the parasite. This lasts for up to [Endurance]/6, rounded down posts, if the target is unable to resist the Dasu.

~[Molecular Fusion: Parasitic Ghost Destruction]
S-Ranked Iijutsu
Prerequisite: Iijutsu concentration
Rather than using a more normal method of killing targets, this is one of the more gruesome methods of the Dasu clan. After doing the needed hand seals while inside of a host, the Dasu begins to break down the host's cells, giving them a -8 to their Strength stat per post, for up to 5 posts, as long as they stay inside the target. Upon the last post, the Dasu normally exits the body.

Attack of the Parasitic Ghost:
A taijutsu style utilizing the Dasu clan's bloodline, the clan member can aid their host in multiple ways, striking out from seemingly nowhere.

Prerequisites: [Close Quarters Combat]

~[Surprise Strike]
D-Ranked Taijutsu Manuever
Prerequisite: Must be inside a host
As the host punches or kicks a target, the parasite uses the attack as a feint and will make use of their ability to temporarily partially separate from the host, sending a single strong punch at the target.

~[Multi-Connecting Fist]
D-Ranked Taijutsu Manuever
Prerequisite: Must be inside a host
First the host sends a straight-forward punch towards the target. The parasite then, by making use of their ability to temporarily partially separate from the host, to go in and out of their host to attack and create a three-times fist at their target.

~[Multi-Connecting Leg]
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Must be inside a host
First the host sends a straight-forward kick towards the target. The parasite then, by making use of their ability to temporarily partially separate from the host, to go in and out of their host to attack and create a three-times kick at their target, effectively powering it up, due to the extra force.

~[Multi-Connecting Grab]
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Must be inside a host
Using a dual-powered attack, the host grabs onto the target's arms, keeping them in position. As long as they are in that position, the parasite is able to punch and kick at the target almost freely, due to the target being captured. Someone with a higher strength than the host can easily break the hold, though.

~[Sky Combo]
C-Ranked Taijutsu Manuever
Prerequisite: Must be inside a host
A technique in which the host first attempts to strike the target in a way to knock them airborne at which point the parasite, using the ability to freely separate from the host, and the host cooperate to unleash a total of six strikes before finally leaping up and knocking the target back to the ground with a double axe kick.

~[Multi-Connecting Machine Gun Fist]
B-Ranked Taijutsu
Prerequisite: Must be inside a host
A blitzkrieg-type attack. Rather than just trying to aim at one specific spot, the parasite inside the host unleashes a complete fury of punches and kicks at whoever or whatever is in front of them. Due to the inhuman abilities of the kicks and punches to come from almost any direction, it is incredibly difficult to dodge this while still staying still, since even if a single blow is blocked 3 more attacks are coming from multiple other angles. An applicable perception technique of a higher rank than this jutsu can discern the multitude of attacks, enabling for a better chance to properly counter.

~[Parasitic Control]
B-Ranked Taijutsu Manuever
Prerequisite: Must be inside a host
While fused with a host the clan member can directly force control of the host's movements. This requires complete control over the host, requiring more strength than the target.
