Physical Features:
  • Face/Head: Over the years Rika Reina has considerably matured physically, her facial features being much sharper though still distinctly feminine, her eyes now having a more angular form with some kind of twinkle in her eye at all times though whether this is mischievousness or curiosity none can really say. This all is accompanied by long red hair that falls down to her waist and is most often kept up in a ponytail.
  • Body: With puberty having worked its magic Rika Reina stands at a fairy average height for her age though with long legs and firm muscle tone as well as having grown to be fairly curvaceous, her waist having narrowed and her hips having widened, her chest and butt having both grown considerably in size and firmness as well.
  • Notable Features:In place of her left arm is a prosthetic puppet arm.
Clothing/Accessories: Her primary outfit consists of a long sleeved kimono top and a long skirt, bandages wrapped around her chest and knee high boots with a slightly raised heel on her feet.

Personality:
  • General: While having to some degree retained her bubbly, sociable personality Rika Reina these days is much more quiet and wary of getting close to others though she does grow rather attached to those who break through her shell. She's gained an appreciation for the outdoors and can often be found relaxing somewhere outside, typically drawing in her sketchbook. As well as that she's become rather domestic and even motherly, having found over the years that she enjoys taking care of others.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Currently her primary hope is to recover her memories and identity but within her subconscious lies a desire to fly, to travel the vast expanses of the sky alongside the birds
  • Fears:Her main fear is that of whatever may lie in her forgotten past, of the kind of person that she may have been.
  • Combat Mentality:While not entirely certain where she had learned some of the skills she knows she's more than glad to make use of them, having become a primarily mid-close range combatant, making use of Kaenton and Fuuton as well as Kuuton and Puppetry in tandem with various forms of Taijutsu.

Kunai Launcher:
Built into the puppet's chest behind a normally closed panel is a device that when activated causes the panel to slide open and a barrel to extend outwards, this barrel holding twenty kunai and being capable of firing at a speed and strength of five.
Smoke Launcher:
Having been added into his head is a mechanism that when activated causes his mouth to open, subsequently releasing a cloud of smoke that spreads out over a ten meter area, hampering visibility and irritating the lungs of anyone caught within for a entire post.
Horn Missile:
Also having been added into each of his horns is a mechanism that when activated causes either one or both horns to detach from his body and fly towards a target at a speed and strength equal to his deftness.
Hidden Blade:
Hidden inside his right arm is a mechanism that when activated causes his hand to slide upwards and a 1 foot blade to spring forth in its place at a speed his equal to his deftness. While typically used for close quarters, it can also be launched at a speed and strength equal to his deftness.

Genbu:

Genbu is a puppet in the shape of a tortoise standing at a total of about two feet tall while on all fours with the shell being formed entirely of a metal alloy while the body is formed of a mix of wood and metal. He possesses the ability to retract his head and limbs into his shell without the use of a special mechanism, though certain mechanisms can cause this behavior as well.

Super Spinner:
Built into Genbu's main body is a device that when activated causes him to retract his head and limbs into his shell, a number of 6 inch blades popping out in their place, and begin spinning at a speed equal to his deftness, providing an effective defense against projectiles as well as perhaps catching opponents off guard for a surprise offense.
Quintet Laser:
Once the Super Spinner has been activated and Genbu has begun spinning, the user can cause the blades to retract and be replaced by a set of cannons where the head and each limb would have been, these cannons being capable of firing chakra blasts at a speed and strength of [Control] either all together or individually.
Surprise Bite:
At any point while Genbu's head is retracted, the user can activate this mechanism, causing his head to reemerge at a speed equal to his deftness, aiming to wrap his jaw around an unsuspecting target's limbs, latching on with a strong bite. If he misses, his head will simply retract back into his shell.
Chained Spikes:
Attached to his shell are a large number of spikes, these spikes providing an extra layer of protection as well as possessing the capability of being fired like projectiles at a speed equal to his deftness. After penetrating a target, these spikes can then unfurl into barbs that allow them to stick painfully into flesh, while the chains attached to the spikes begin to reel in with their target stuck in the spikes, reeling with a strength equal to his strength stat. The maximum range of these spikes is 10 meters.
Armor Plating:
Genbu's shell contains a mechanism that when activated causes it to become covered in a layer of steel plating granting him +3 durability in exchange for -3 mobility
Prototype Prosthetic:
With the severing of her left arm, while initially having been against such a thing, Rika has since adopted the use of a prosthetic puppet arm, the frame of said arm being made entirely of treated wood, its innards built so as to allow for the use of puppet mechanisms while still allowing for ease of use in everyday life.

Blade Hand:
Built primarily as a means to help her deal with melee combat, Rika's new hand possesses the ability to flatten out, the fingers coming together as the hand itself gains a bladed edge, her fuuton affinity allowing her to increase the cutting capability as well as extend the range by three inches should chakra be channeled through it.
Palm Whip:
A special sort of mechanism built to conserve space and lighten the load, when activated through a brief pulse of chakra funnels that same chakra through her palm, it emerging in the form of a whip, the length of which ranges from a single foot to a maximum of six feet. If need be, the whip can be detached and wielded by hand.
Chakra Cannon:
When activated this mechanism causes her hand and forearm to pull apart, revealing a barrel through which blasts of chakra can be fired either as a volley of softball sized orbs, up to three in succession, or a single cylindrical beam two meters in diameter. Either way it fires at a speed of [Control], the orbs striking with a strength of [Control/2] each while the beam strikes with a strength of [Control].
Grapple Hand:
With this mechanism, should her hand ever pop off whether willingly or otherwise, it will be revealed to have a length of rope attached allowing for it to be swung around and used for a number of tasks such as grabbing objects from a distance, climbing buildings, or even being used as a weapon amongst other uses. It can be extended for a range of up to 30 meters.
Wind Shield:
Another mechanism built with the intent of lightening the load, this one when activated through a pulse of fuuton chakra causes a flap in her palm to open up, releasing a dome-shaped burst of wind with a diameter of approximately three meters in the immediate vicinity of the direction her arm is pointing, cutting those who get close and blocking incoming strikes with a strength equal to [Control].

First Ability
Kaenton:
By fusing together Katon [Fire Element] and Fuuton [Wind Element], members of the Hizashi clan are able to create and use Kaenton [Heat Element].
Passive (Heating)Show
Kaenton has to ability to heat anything, increasing it's temperature, causing burns, and introducing people to heat strokes, dehydration, and even possibly death. While Hizashi are naturally resistant to increased temperature, even they can succumb to the excessive heat of their techniques. The heat increase, and the area they can increase, is determined by the rank of techniques, making the elder Hizashi the most danger, able to create flashes of heat that can kill with ease.
Second Ability
Partial Puppet Body:
Common for those who have lost limbs, the user has turned part(s) of their body into a puppet. Unlike a complete Puppet Body, there is no “preservation device” as the user is still connected to their original chakra pathway. The user links their nervous and chakra pathway systems to the puppet and is able to control it as if it was apart of their body.

Kugutsu:
[Puppetry] is an old, tradition-bound style with some variation found within each Hidden Village. Chakra Strings are the progenitor style of Puppetry and is limited to Sunagakure ninjutsu only, due to the secret techniques. Chakra String users learns to utilize the tenketsu on their fingers to create strings of chakra, which can be used to control a multitude of things. Most users focus primarily on the use of puppets, wooden, or partially wooden contraptions. Puppeteers as they are called, rely on high control.
Fuuton Affinity:
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. Fuuton has an cutting effect.
Passive (Cutting)Show
Fuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/3rd the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 19 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 6 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.
Sensory:
Sensors are shinobi who are able to activate a sixth sense which can locate and read chakra sources. Sensory is advantageous as it allows shinobi to perceive without using any of their conventional senses, which can easily be deceived. Sensors are able to collect a lot of information through the interpretation of this sixth sense.
Kuuton Affinity:
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Kuuton, and advanced form of Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Kuuton affinity. Kuuton has a gravitational effect. These gravitational pockets can reach through barriers, walls, and function like a real source of gravity.
Passive (Pressure)Show
Kuuton users chakra to create pockets of gravity in a specific direction. Through the use of these technique Kuuton users can launch objects away from them, pull things in to a specific place, or crush things down into the ground. Kuuton jutsu operate off a focal point, and always move towards or away from that focal point. This means that all Kuuton jutsu cover some sort of area, and only effect what is within that area. They can not be used on a micro scale.

Tenkujutsu:
The users of this style have a strong affinity towards spirits, and are able to utilize certain chakra techniques based off of spirits. Those with the affinity have a Maroon color tint to their chakra when using these techniques. Tenkujutsu jutsus fall underneath their own pyramid, and do not have ties to Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, or Genjutsu.

After using chakra strings, the puppeteer is able to attach them to objects, then solidify pieces of the string as someone is passing by, causing them to trip if they don’t notice the invisible wires.

A fairly simple jutsu, this one uses the strings of chakra to carry the puppeteer's voice to the puppet, so it will sound as if the puppet is talking when in reality it is the puppeteer's words. If it is equipped with a sound vibrating device, the voice can also be changed to whatever the user wishes it to be.

By releasing less chakra into his chakra strings, the user is effectively able to 'turn off' some of his chakra strings, giving them no ability to pull or retract anything. In order to accommodate this, the strings will lengthen and shorten so they don't react to anything that they are attached to. The strings can be reactivated by putting a bit of chakra into them, letting the user use them again. This can also be used to attach wires to someone, and then deactivate the wires so they aren't able to feel the wires at all until they are needed. The strings can still be removed as if they were on, though.

Much like the original Transformation Jutsu, the puppeteer does the needed handseals and causes their puppet to take on the appearance of their own body and their own body into the appearance of their puppet. By consistently emitting chakra throughout their body, the user is able to keep their appearance adjusted at the cost of their Chakra Pool draining over time. As this technique is quite strenuous to uphold, experienced shinobi may see more clearly through this delusive disguise. This technique lasts for a number of posts equal to that of the user's Chakra Pool.

After completing the necessary handseals, the user is able to quickly substitute his/her body with one of their puppets. This substitution allows the object to take the force of the attack that was meant for the user, additionally allowing the user to create distance between him/her and the opponent. This technique may only be used a total of two (2) times in a single thread, counting towards the (2) teleportation limit.

The Puppetry Technique is a Ninjutsu technique used by puppeteers. By releasing chakra from their tenketsu, the puppeteer is able to release chakra strings from their finger. These strings are able to move 25 meters. This jutsu allows the puppeteer to attach their chakra strings to inanimate, chakra-less objects at [Control] Speed. While an inanimate object is being controlled, it’s treated as if it has a speed equal to the puppeteer’s control.

By channeling chakra to a puppet, the puppeteer is able to form a chakra coating over the puppet. This coating causes the puppet to become completely invisible as long as every piece of the puppet is completely still. Once the puppet moves, it becomes fully visible.

A pure channeling jutsu, the Hizashi is able to channel Kaenton chakra to parts of their body, heating them up by up to 20 degrees Celsius. This jutsu has no range and can only warm up the user's body, allowing for first degree burns on contact, this jutsu lasting for the next five posts.

By performing a series of handseals, the clan member can increase the temperature of the air around them. This creates a 10 meter diameter area of heat centered on the clan member for the following seven posts. Anybody within the area will feel an intense heat that will usually cause them to perspire, feel thirst and in general make them uncomfortable.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user floods the weapon they're holding with Kaenton chakra, raising its temperature by up to 15 degrees Celsius, causing burns on sustained contact. This temperature remains for up to 5 posts or until cancelled by the user.

After channeling the user concentrates heat to their fists, causing them to heat up at which point they then punch the target, releasing the built up heat upon impact in an outwards burst causing first degree burns around the point of contact and also slightly heating up the same area.

After performing the necessary hand seals the user releases heat into a ten meter area around their body, heating up the area and thus causing the air to rise, knocking projectiles thrown with strength less than or equal to [Control] slightly off course.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user creates an identical copy of themselves formed of condensed heat, this copy having all of the user's own stats and being capable of utilizing any Kaenton techniques the user may know and when destroyed explodes in a burst of heat capable of causing first degree burns to those within a range of fifteen meters.

By performing a series of handseals, the clan member can increase the temperature of the air around them. This creates a 5 meter diameter area of intense heat centered on the clan member for the following five posts, causing great discomfort to those within. Additionally those aside from the user within the area will feel an intense heat that will drain 1 endurance per post for the next two posts. This area travels with the user at a speed of [Control]. If the user moves faster than [Control] speed, the area will follow behind at the speed with which it was cast.

Prerequisite: 5 Control
After doing the needed hand seals, the user places their hands outwards, with their palms out. As long as they keep their hands out in this way, they will channel Kaenton chakra outwards into a 5 meter radius around them, creating a Kaenton circulation system. Whenever ah flame or a Katon technique enters this area with strength less than the user's control, the user can deflect it. The flame/katon will always be dispersed along the edge of the radius until it reaches the opposite side of where it struck. This area lasts for up to 3 posts, or until it has deflected 3 attacks.

C-ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user touches an object with their hand. The object must be a material that doesn't have an abnormally high melting point, must be inorganic and can only be a maximum of 1x1x1 meter large. If the object meets these criteria, the user can flood it with Kaenton chakra for a full post and heat it up. The heating up is done to such a point that the object actually melts into a hot pool and remains in that state for at least 3 posts, after which it begins to cool down at a normal rate (thus the rate at which it returns to normal depends on the temperature of the environment). This pool is extremely hot and capable of causing even fourth degree burns, but the user cannot control or mold it in any way and they will be damaged by it just like anybody else.

After performing the proper hand seals, the user releases Kaenton into a 20 meter radius around them, causing heat to disperse in the air within that area. This heat will cause a minor increase of up to 5 degrees Celsius, but its real strength is in the way the hot air behaves. The behavior of the heated vs. cold hair causes a Mirage field where everything's appearance is slightly distorted, leaving them unable to properly gauge distances or the size of people and objects unless they have a perception technique of the appropriate rank, this technique lasting for the next seven posts.

After performing the necessary hand seals the user focuses chakra into the ground anywhere within a twenty meter area around them, this spot glowing a bright orange. Upon either being kai'd by the user or being stepped on, the chakra will erupt into a geyser of condensed heat fifteen meters tall and wide at a speed and strength equal to [Control], causing first degree burns upon impact as well as heating up the area making those within twenty meters incredibly uncomfortable.

Kaenton • Desert's Grasp
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals the user forms a mass of condensed heat about thirty meters in diameter that is then sent towards a target up to a max of 50 meters away at a speed of [Control], upon contact wrapping around the target's limbs, restraining them with a strength of [Control] and gradually heating up their body causing first degree burns and sapping their endurance at a rate of -3 every post for three posts. Meanwhile the bindings themselves last for six posts or until broken.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user gathers wind around their feet. Then, the user will use the wind to blast them from the ground, enabling them to leap into the air an extra 10 meters at [Control] speed. The Fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move faster (+3 speed) but lowers their ability to translate force (-3 Strength). This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

After performing the required hand seals, the user expels a basket ball sized ball of wind from their mouth. This ball of wind travels up to 10m at [Control] speed, and explodes with [Control] Strength on contact with solid matter or at the end of its range.

After performing the necessary hand seals or channeling the user creates up to 5 pillowy masses of air around two meters in diameter but only around a meter in height that they can send out at a speed equal to [Control] and possess a durability of the same, these masses of air also being capable of providing a soft landing to anything that falls on it from up to 10 meters above. These last for five posts and do not apply the Fuuton passive.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will create a clone out of their fuuton chakra. This clone will have the users stats. It lasts for [Control/4] posts.

Fuuton • Orb of Shredding

After performing the necessary handseals or channeling Rika forms an orb of wind twenty meters in total diameter around a target at a speed of [Control], this orb acting as a barrier with a strength of [Control] and lasting for the next five posts, however at any point within these five posts she can snap her fingers, causing it to implode at a strength equal to [Control] continuously cutting targets with the Fuuton passive over the course of an entire post.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will cover themselves in Kuuton chakra. This enables them to augment their movements, allowing them to move with +3 speed, but with -3 Control. The user will also float one foot off the ground during this time. This technique lasts for three posts.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will kneel down and touch the ground. This will cause the ground around them for 5 metres in every direction to become a focal point. All things within this area will be thrust into the air for 8 metres, unless they resist it with a strength higher than [Control].

After performing the necessary handseals or channeling Rika touches a target, covering them in an aura of Kuuton. This in turn augments their movements, allowing them to move with +3 speed and -3 Control as well as causing them to float above a foot above the ground during this time. After performing the necessary handseals or channeling Rika sends out a pulse of Kuuton chakra over a thirty meter radius with her at the epicenter at a speed of [Control], increasing the pull of gravity on anything caught within and forcing them to drop down, rendering them unable to stand or make complex movements should their [Strength] be lower than her [Control]. This lasts for the next five posts.

After preforming the necessary hand seals the user will then place his palm against a target. If the target is imbued with the power of a spirit their hand will visibly flare up with Maroon chakra.

After performing a set of hand seals, the user focuses chakra towards their hand. A chain made of Maroon chakra will shoot from their palm towards the target at [Control] speed, up to 20 meters away. If it hits a spirit, a jinchuuriki, tsukimogami, or other such being, the chain will wrap around them, placing their arms, if they have any, to their side, stopping them from performing hand seals. These chains cling to the chakra of the Spirit itself, and are unable to be broken through physical means. If the target has a related Mastery stat or a Spirit has a strength stat higher than 10, they are able to break the binding. If the chains are able to stay on their target, they will drain away -1 Mastery from hosts or -1 Strength from Spirits until broken free of.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user focuses chakra to their eyes, causing the Maroon chakra to flare up around their eyes. This works similar to a doujutsu, but with no physical change to the eye itself, allowing the user to see the chakra of spirits and spirit related objects/people as an aura of Maroon. While useful for a quick glance, it can be used up to [Chakra Pool]/5 posts, before needing to be refreshed.

After performing the needed hand seals and focusing chakra into their hand, the user places their hand on the head of a Spirit host, or on the object containing a spirit. This allows them to speak directly to the spirit in a telepathic link.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user will create a 10 meter cubed barrier within 15 meters of their location at [Control] Speed with [Control] Strength. This barrier is created of pure Maroon chakra and will only stop things that are related to spirits, normally jinchuuriki. As a result, those that are stopped by the barrier are unable to make their way through unless they can break it. Those untainted by spirits are able to pass through the barrier at their leisure. This barrier lasts for 4 posts.

A technique developed for use with Jinchuuriki, after performing the necessary handseals the user places their hand on the head of the host, releasing a pulse of chakra working to create a mental ward preventing host and spirit from communicating in any fashion for the next four posts should the user's Control be equal to or greater than the target's Mastery.

Shizumeru • Heavenly Protection
B-Ranked Tenkujutsu (Nin)
After performing the necessary hand seals the user forms a solid dome of maroon chakra around them with a height and diameter of ten meters, defending against jutsu originating from a spirit or host with a strength of [Control], causing any attacks that don't break through to rebound towards their source at half of their original strength and speed. This barrier lasts for six posts or until broken.

B-Ranked Tenkujutsu (Nin)
After the user performs the necessary hand seals a maroon mist begins spreading over the area at a speed of [Control], stopping only once it covers 40 meters in each direction around the user. While within this mist, spirits and those influenced by them, such as jinchuuriki, have extremely hampered visibility, only being able to see up to 2 meters in front of them, as well as their mastery draining at a rate of -3 per post that they're in the mist with their mastery coming back 3 posts after leaving, the mist itself sticking around for the next five posts.

Rika and her elder sister of eight years were born to a rather ordinary family, their father a civilian and their mother a member of Sunagakure's Hizashi clan, a chuunin shinobi, and an excellent puppeteer. From a young age, she spent much of her time outside either with her friends or with her mother and sister, watching the birds fly by and making various different sketches, most of them being of potential puppet designs. She loved her father of course, the pair spending a great deal of time together, but she greatly admired her mother, and loved the sight of her puppets in action, at a very young age making the resolve to one day become a puppeteer herself, and perhaps even achieve a long held dream, a dream to join the birds and soar in the sky. It was this resolve, along with the admiration towards her mother, that led to her joining their clan's own Shinobi Academy.

Her time in the academy, despite studying amongst her own clansmen, was fairly uneventful, not being all too boring but not really particularly exciting either. She performed fairly averagely in most areas, though was highly intelligent and resourceful while even specializing in the area of chakra control, leading to her being able to learn and get the hang of her techniques with relative ease. When outside of class and not studying, she spent a lot of time with her mother, the pair of them either studying their clan's techniques or working together to repair an old broken down puppet that she had received as a gift.

And so it was like this that she became a genin and began learning the art of puppetry, all the while getting closer and closer to fulfilling her dream.
Years passed and over time Rika rose in rank while making new friends and even falling in love for the first time. She even took up the mantle of Head Archivist of the Scribes of the Sand, inheriting the position from then Kazekage Henrin Kiyori. It wasn't all smooth sailing though, the girl gradually coming to learn grief and heartache, though she kept pushing onwards with the knowledge that a lot of people both past and present were counting on her.

It would seem however fate had its own plans, Rika having taken it on herself one day to explore some recently discovered ruins. It seemed to be going smoothly at first until a loud howl sounded, the ruins at that time beginning to crumble around her. She would luckily make it out with her life but not totally unharmed as she would end up taking a blow to the head.

It wasn't until several days later that she awoke in the care of a mother and daughter pair, the daughter having found her lying unconscious and brought her home to recover. She was of course immensely grateful but there was a problem... she couldn't remember a thing that had happened or anything about herself. Realizing that she was suffering from amnesia the pair offered for her to stay with them until her memories came back. While reluctant at first she accepted in the end, in the process being given a new identity as Reina. And so it was that she would start a new life and she was determined to make the most of it.. for however long it would last.
