Physical Features:
  • Face/head: As a young man Souta was always known as a handsome sort, and though he could still be called handsome he has certainly begun to show that his age is transitioning from middle age more towards a wizened older sort. His face has begun to show wrinkles at the corners of his mouth from too many smiles, and the corners of his eyes begin to show crows feet from too many sad days. His forehead wrinkles have darkened a bit from too much worry. He always has a level of stubble lining his chin and jawline. His hair is still down to his shoulders, a dark ruddy brown with streaks of grey beginning to show, he often pulls back into a single ponytail at the base of his skull. His eyes themselves, once a vibrant cerulean blue, have darkened to a color like a stormy sea. Kindness is rarely seen in them, just an unending sadness coupled with the patience of an old man who learned from his impatient younger days.
  • Body: A battle-hardened shinobi and samurai both, Souta’s training has left him better muscled than most men, details often hidden beneath layers of clothing. Every muscle beneath the cloth seemingly chiseled from stone and given the weight of him some might not be so shocked if it were true. His body is littered with scars from training and near death alike. Scars ranging from one inch to seven litter his torso though his most notable is on his face, running from just under his left eye to his chin. A scar that defines his features, and his violent past, rather well.
  • Notable Features: Scar running down his face from just below his left eye to his jaw. He only has a single tattoo over a 4 inch scar on his lower left side, just above his hip, a tattoo of the name ‘Hotaru’.
Clothing/Accessories: Souta wears a pair of black leather boots that come up past his knees just a bit with some crimson detailing. The boots form fitting and allow for full movement. His trousers are a pair of simple black fabric that covers him rather loosely, leaving plenty of room for him to move without giving away precious secrets. His shirt is mostly black, a haori that ties at his waist with a deep red sash. At times in battle he may choose to withdraw an arm from the haori for better movement, or remove it entirely depending upon the situation. Despite the heat within his village it is not uncommon for him to be seen with a black cloak that reaches just past his hips, a hood so deep it seems to cover half his face in shadow and hiding his features when pulled up.
Personality:
  • General: Souta is well known as a harsh and unforgiving man in all things. Whether it be battle, training, or even day to day life, he has a very strict code he adheres to and he does not break it, for any reason. As his years progress, many have come to believe he is a man who cannot feel beyond battle and bloodshed. He is a warrior and unyielding. This demeanor seems to carry over to much of his life with so many completely unaware of the kindness the man is actually capable of.
  • Hopes/Dreams: At his age, Souta has achieved or failed his dreams in this life. His only remaining hope is his own dedication to his code and way of life.
  • Fears: Souta is a man who has lived through and endured many of his greatest fears. He has very few left… save for a fear of madness.
  • Combat Mentality: Souta is a stern man and near unyielding in any fight. He takes a stand and fights to the end, never the coward and ever the man striving for a warrior’s end.

As a child Souta was said to be an absolute delight. A bright eyed boy that was eager to get into the most adorable kinds of trouble. He was born an old child and doted on by his clanless parents. His mother a shinobi, and his father a merchant, he was never really wanting for anything. But he looked up to his mother the most, watching her go off on missions and thinking she was having all kinds of adventures. He longed to follow in her footsteps and so when he was old enough, he was enrolled into the academy.

He studied hard, but quickly learned he hardly had a mind for genjutsu. The theories alone made his head spin, leaving him so confused he’d have trouble focusing the rest of the day if his lessons began with gen. Ninjutsu was easier, but still a challenge to him. He managed to at least be nearly average. His true strength was Taijutsu. He took to it like a fish to water, loving every aspect of it and every moment of training. When he graduated by age twelve he carried high marks in it, though the rest he barely scraped by.

Once he had been unleashed unto the world as a genin he felt a new life surge within him and threw himself into every mission. No matter how small or dull he felt it was, he took to it with a fervor. His sensei took the time to not only help him with his taijutsu training, but also helped him gain a much better grasp of ninjutsu and also helped him to learn more about at least understanding ways to spot genjutsu useage. The boy came up quickly, eager to learn and eager to excel. It was a shock to few that he was ready for the chunin exam by time he was fourteen. He took on an opponent who also happened to be his best friend, a girl named Hotaru. She was weaker in Taijutsu, but her own specialty was genjutsu. The two were their polar opposites and the fight was hard. Neither truly seemed to come out a victor, Hotaru nearly passed out in the dirt by time it was over and Souta himself on his hands and knees, shaking from the last gen she had hit him with. Both were promoted that day, not just for their ability to counter one another as they were polar opposites in ability, but their capability of withstanding one another despite being hit with their greatest weaknesses.

Sadly Souta hardly had time to celebrate. As he came home with his wonderful news, he came home to terrible news. His mother had been killed on a mission. The adventures he had once so admired came crashing down around him in reality, showing him the harshness of it all. Yet newly Chunin he was determined to set an example and hold his head high. Through her funeral, her cremation, he refused to allow himself to cry… even though it meant that he could only hold it together long enough to get home to bed where he locked himself away for days.

Eventually the boy would be able to move forward with his life, with his best friend’s help. Hotaru was a year older than him, and being an orphan she wasn’t new to loss. She took him by the hand and guided him through the pain and helped him find comfort in training. By time he turned sixteen, Souta found he was seeing her as more than a friend and falling for her rather hard. It wasn’t long before the two officially were dating. They checked in with one another after every mission, took care of one another if one was sick, and spent nearly ever spare minute together. Just as they ranked up to Chunin together, they took on Special Jounin together as well. At that age they sparred together so much that Hotaru managed to surprise Souta and scar his side with a blade. Though she was worried, he was laughing, and went so far as to get her name tattooed over the scar later to commemorate the event and as a joke. They were inseparable.

Until the worst came to happen again. When he was nineteen, the same mission that would earn him Jounin also left him hurting. The pair were just finally discussing the idea of getting married, and they were sent on a mission together. It was supposed to be a simple recon, but they ran into a rather large force. Neither Souta nor Hotaru were good at backing down from a challenge. They had been asked to locate an A Rank missing ninja, but not to engage. They were to get the location and get home, nothing more. Seeing the large force they knew locating him without being spotted would be hard, and both felt they were up to the challenge. It was a decision that Souta would regret more than any he had ever made before. He was nineteen, knew he was being looked at for Jounin, he felt invincible and at the top of the world. Before the night was over the two would not only be spotted, but Souta would find himself holding Hotaru’s lifeless body. In order to keep her from being buried or her body otherwise desecrated he fought his way out with her over a shoulder, going so far as to kill the target they were to investigate. Yet still he managed to return her home for proper rites, and closure for those that knew her. He may have been promoted, but the event broke his heart.

Newly Jounin he found a new rage burning in his soul and he took more and more dangerous missions. Eventually he’d realize that in reality he had craved death, to join his lover, and so he took any mission he could. After finishing a particular mission he heard rumors in a small fishing village of ‘the dragon witch’. A woman they claimed had special ties to a black dragon terrorizing the area. Feeling it would be a great challenge, and perhaps wishing to die, the man went in search of her. He never expected the woman herself to be the dragon, that she was able to turn into the large and fearsome creature. One swipe of her claws left him feeling strange, knocking him unconscious. By time he’d awoken he found himself on the ground in the desert, ten miles from Suna and hundreds of miles from where he’d been, with a simple note. ”Cursed.” was all it read. He returned home for healing, medical ninja mystified by changes in his chakra that they said would ‘reveal or resolve itself in time’. He was assured it wouldn’t kill him, though he was still unnerved due to a scar her claws had left behind. It was a deep black, gouged into his flesh, and somehow looked more like a dark tattoo than a scar.

He wouldn’t find out what had really happened to him for months, until he lost his temper and his body took on the change for the first time. Dark scales, the maw of a dragon replaced that of a man’s on his face, wings and tail forming in that instant and the man who had angered him lay dead.

Souta changed then. He became known as the cursed one, or his nickname of Norowareta, and dedicated himself to calmer paths. For years he took time off of missions entirely, nearly retiring before he finally found a way to better control his transformations, enough to be useful for his village once more. Over the years he still takes missions from time to time, and also taking on students here and there in the hopes that he can keep them from his own fate. Lack of fear lost him his love he felt, and Pride cursed him.

Taijutsu Specialist:
Having devoted their lives to mastering the art of taijutsu, this shinobi is classified as a Taijutsu Specialist. Taijutsu specialist are able to devote a total of 10 concentrations to taijutsu, unlike most people who are capped at 8. However, they are only able to devote a max of 5 concentrations to genjutsu, and a max of 5 concentrations to ninjutsu.

As a Taijutsu Specialist, Souta is able to utilize taijutsu concentrations reserved for specialists, and is able to enter the God Tier [45+] on select stats, and meaning as a specialist they can select stats to break into the God tier. These stats can only be Taijutsu, Stamina, Strength, & Speed.

Abilities
First AbilityCurse of the Dragon Witch Having tangled with the wrong woman in his mid-twenties, Souta found himself cursed by someone known only as ‘the Dragon Witch’. As a result of this curse Souta carries a dark scar on his chest and the ability to transform into a humanoid dragon-like form. While in this form, Souta gains access to sharp claws on his hands and feet capable of rending flesh, and a fanged maw capable of the same. He also has a prehensile dragon tail (six feet long), able to be used as though it were another arm, and large wings (7 foot span, from tip to tip) that enable him to fly with the proper jutsu. Lastly, his entire body is covered in thick black scales, protecting his body from harm. These scales can be broken by any blow stronger than Souta's (Strength+Stamina)-5. Once broken the scales remain broken for the duration of the transformation. In addition, while in this form, his chakra, chakra constructs and related items are black. (ie, black fire when using Katon, black wind when using Fuuton, etc.)
Note: Triggering this transformation uses chakra equal to an A Rank technique.
Second AbilityCompanion Master This character specializes in the organization of others, and has committed part of their time in coordinating themselves with pets, spirits, or henchmen in combat. This gives the user of this ability four [4] companions, each companion is separate from the other and can be any type of companion. There is no limit to ranks for companions.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. Fuuton has an cutting effect.
Passive (Cutting)Show
Fuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/2 the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 20 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 10 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.
Sensory:
Sensor
Sensors are shinobi who are able to activate a sixth sense which can locate and read chakra sources. Sensory is advantageous as it allows shinobi to perceive without using any of their conventional senses, which can easily be deceived. Sensors are able to collect a lot of information through the interpretation of this sixth sense.

This user is able to utilize Storage Fuuinjutsu and Force Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Storage or Force Classification. Storage Fuuinjutsu can be used to store supplies, weapons, armor, or anything in between. Force Fuuinjutsu are used to release, counteract, and capture energy.

This user is able to utilize Charge & Augment Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Charge & Augment Classification. Charge Fuuinjutsu are used to create jutsu-like effects using seals. Augment Fuuinjutsu are used to enhance or limit the power of whatever they are placed on.

Iijutsu
This concentration allows for the user to user chakra to affect the biological processes of a living creature. This includes modifying, speeding up, or slowing down the biological processes. Iijutsu is known for it's advanced nature and requires precise chakra control to work effectively. It can be differentiate from normal techniques by the faint light green colour of the chakra used in Iijutsu techniques.

Close Quarters Combat:
The fundamental skill of [Close Quarters Combat] indicates the user's proficiency to efficiently utilize martial arts and advanced combat moves involving the body, for example but not limited to, advanced kicks, grapples, advanced punches, etc.
Medicine:
The fundamental skill of [Medicine] describes the user’s mental and physical ability to perform traditional and mainstream medicinal practices. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Deft Hands:
The fundamental skill of [Deft Hands] indicates the user’s proficiency with using their hands in very specific and complex movements, like sleight of hand and targeting very small and specific points on an opponent’s body. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu in various ways.
Perception:
The fundamental skill of [Perception] describes the user’s practiced methods of more keenly focussing their senses for a short time. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Sword Weapons:
The fundamental skill of [Sword Weapons] indicates the user’s proficiency with swords and sword-like weapons such as knives, daggers, sword-breakers and the like. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.

Other
Tenkujutsu:
The users of this style have a strong affinity towards spirits, and are able to utilize certain chakra techniques based off of spirits. Those with the affinity have a Maroon color tint to their chakra when using these techniques. Tenkujutsu jutsus fall underneath their own pyramid, and do not have ties to Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, or Genjutsu.

Bone Breaker:
Bone Breaker Style was created by shinobi in order to disable another fighter quickly in a fight to prevent them from utilizing limbs, and weathering the opponent down by short powerful strikes aimed at weak spots in the skeletal structure to fracture or break entirely. The style is strongly based off the strength and taijutsu skill of the user. If a user is strong they can snap bones easily, but if they are uncoordinated the style is essentially useless, same if it was the other way around, a weak person cannot snap bones no matter how well they're coordinated. The style is an utterly brute and ruthless one used to typical lethally injure or disable an opponent for other means.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user throws a palm strike towards an opponents leg utilizing all their momentum and force by swinging their shoulders and hips, the user strikes the opponents thigh. It would cause immense discomfort and a hairline fracture, and if the opponent continues to try to utilize the limb further straining it very badly could turn the hairline fracture into a full severe fracture. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Pre-Requisite: 10 strength.
This taijutsu utilizes the weaker spot of the fibula in the calf to snap the soft bone to create intense pain in their calf making them unable to stand or create immense pain on the damaged leg. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

*Stop Pointing
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Pre-Requisite: Deft Hands Concentration
This technique requires the user to get close and personal and grab the opponent and force them into an armbar. Once the opponent is forced into an armbar the user must then open up their fingers and bend them back with immense force until they break or dislocate. This prevents the opponent from forming handseals unless they relocate their fingers or mend the bone breakage. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

*Drunk Goggles
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user claps their opponent's ear with the palm of their hand swinging wide to gather as much force as possible before smashing it causing bleeding and a ringing sensation in the opponent's ear. This also cause an influx of pressure in their ear canal making the opponent off balance. It will create a painful ringing, unbalance, and hamper their hearing. This causes the victim to experience a -1 taijutsu debuff. The effects of this jutsu last for 3 posts. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user positions themselves in a fighting stance and performs a quick jab with their dominating hand striking their opponent's nose attempting to break the cartilage causing immense pain and hampering their sense of smell as it fills with blood. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Pre-Requisite: 10 strength
The user sidesteps to whichever side their opponent throws a punch from and grasps their striking arm with their corresponding arm, and then the user raises their free arm high into the air locking it into an elbow striking angle before bringing it down with all their might striking the opponent's radius bone breaking it into two creating a clean break. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

*Look Over There
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user throws a right or left hook twisting on the ball of their foot to add some extra force slamming their fist into the side of their opponents face around the orbit socket. Once making contact the blow will cause bleeding and swelling in the opponent's afflicted eye causing them to go temporarily blind until they receive medical attention. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
The user throws an uppercut, right hook, or left hook attempting to dislocate the opponent's jaw. The user will twist on the ball of their foot to add in some extra force to the strike. The opponent's jaw will dislocate causing them to be unable to speak, and unable to move their jaw. It will also cause immense pain, and swelling. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

*Knee Bender
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
The user gets up and close with this attack and delivers a powerful snap kick to the opponent's knee hoping to bending it backwards completely dislocating it or breaking the joint all together. This causes their opponent unable to stand on the afflicted leg without having trouble with balance. This also causes immense pain in the opponent's joint area making the injury hard to heal naturally. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

*Humorous Humerus
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
The user delivers an open palm strike to the opponents humerus attempting to break it clean in half with all their might to make the arm entirely unusable. This causes the opponent unable to move the affected arm or perform hand seals. The opponent will feel immense pain in their injured arm, and will have trouble moving the arm further than the shoulder. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.
B Rank:
*Cage Breaker
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 20 Strength
The user dodges an opponent's strike by crouching below it, and uppercuts the opponent's chest with an open palm strike to their lower rib cage with all their strength in an attempt to break the lower ribs to debilitate the opponent's breathing. This strike if successful and acted upon with full power causes the opponent to become short of breath, and possibly cause bones to put pressure on their opponent's lungs furthering their inhibition to breath. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

*Last Leg
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Pre-requisite: 20 Strength
The user swipes underneath their opponents feet causing an unbalance, and grabs either their left or right leg firmly grasping around their knee with their left hand the user brings down their right elbow on the opponents femur breaking it in two. This causes extreme unbearable pain, and causes their opponent to be crippled in the afflicted leg. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Pre-requisite: 20 Strength
The user throws a punch at their opponent as their opponent is throwing a punch as well. The user aims to meet fists with the opponent, but also overwhelms them with strength. Which causes reveberations throughout the opponents arm causing several fractures in their forearm, bicep, and hand. This technique causes extreme pain, and the opponent to be crippled in the afflicted arm. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Pre-requisite: 25 Strength
The user grabs their opponent by the back of the neck, and lower spinal area (preferably their waistband or belt) and hoists them high above their head. The user then takes a knee forward bringing their opponent down on their back onto the user's knee attempting to break the opponent's back entirely. This would cause paralysis immediately from the area of the spinal injury to the legs further down. This technique damages the opponent's spinal cord beyond repair of conventional medicine causing them to become a paraplegic from the waist down. This injury can be repaired through the use of surgery or very strong Iijutsu. The user must have 5 higher Strength than the opponent's strength to be successful with this jutsu.

*Xylophone
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Pre-Requisites: 30 Strength & 30 Taijutsu
The user juts two palm strikes in quick sucession to the chest of their opponent which reverberates their rib cage snapping every rib, causing the opponent to suffer issues with breathing, and severe pain through their chest. For this move to be successful it requires +5 strength than the opponent. If the user has +8 strength than the opponent this move will cause punctured lungs with a completely broken rib cage.

This user has educated themselves in traditional medicine, and is able to treat and care for wounds in methods taught to medicine men and doctors that don't utilize chakra.

The user knows how to utilize bandages, wrapping a wound in a manner that creates a near-perfect barrier from external forces, keeping the wound clean from bacteria. The bandage is tucked in place, preventing it from falling off, though excessive rubbing, pulling, or getting the bandage wet can cause it to fall off.

The user knows how to use sterile water or alcohol to clean out a wound, destroying any bacteria in the would to prevent infection.

Unlike the mystical means of diagnosis utilized through iijutsu, those who utilize the Arts of Medicine must learn the most effective manner to assess a patient. Learners of this discipline have learn the most effective manner to diagnose a patient, starting at the head, and assessing for head wounds, then moving down through the torso, both arms, the groin area, both legs, then the back. Those who learn this discipline will be able to account for any wounds that present with physical symptoms on a patient.

The user is able to use make shift supplies to obtain, and maintain, an airway in a patient through various methods, such as intubation or emergency cricothyroidotomy. This allows people to breath even if they have obstructed airways, and remain alive.

When faced with multiple patients, one who has mastered this discipline is able to rapidly assess multiple patients and determine priority of their individual injuries, and the totality of their injuries to determine which require the highest priorities, and which can survive with delayed care. An additional benefit of this discipline is that one who has mastered it is always able to determine whether a patient is alive or dead, unless they are under the effects of A-rank or higher techniques designed to make them appear dead.

Through the use of acupuncture and their knowledge of pressure points, the user is able to quickly apply a series of pricks, leaving the needles in, that dulls pain in localized areas of the body, or even the entire body. This method only isolates pain receptors, not other receptors, allowing someone under the effects of this technique to continue to function. The pain dulling effects will last for up to 5 posts, at which points the needles will have to be removed then replaced.

One who has mastered this discipline has an near unparalleled comprehension of anatomy and physiology. They are able to locate even the smallest of veins in any person, regardless of variances in shape or size. This knowledge extends to chakra systems, nervous systems, and anything else. Much of this knowledge extends into the biology of non-human species as well, though with less precision. This discipline, combined with enough accuracy, can turn even the simplest of attacks into a fatal blow.

A-rank Taijutsu Maneuver
In the event a patient has passed, in some cases it is possible to resuscitate the patient. Most major injuries must be first treated, as any untreated injuries would simply cause the patient to perish after resuscitation. Should the injuries be treated and this technique be initiated within 2 posts of the targets death, the user will applies pressure to a series of pressure points, and begin CPR, bringing the patient back to life. This technique will inevitably fail if not initiated within the 2 posts.
The Dragon’s Prowess:
The Dragon’s Prowess is a Taijutsu style created by Souta himself in response to his unique situation and transformation. Despite it being a curse he has dedicated himself to training it into a usefulness. Despite his hatred of it, and his desire to be rid of it, he’s come to take advantage of it in the right situations.

Souta is able to slow his fall without fear of falling, even if thrust downward. While unable to gain height, even with gusts of wind, this protects him from damage caused by falling, given he has enough space to fall.

Scaled Slap
D-Ranked Maneuver Taijutsu
In this Maneuver Souta turns suddenly and aims to slap a wing into the opponent’s face or torso in an attempt to knock them down or back.

D-Ranked Maneuver Taijutsu
In this Maneuver, Souta flaps his wings once to pull himself back, presumeably out of the way of an incoming attack of some kind. This flap pulls him back at a boost of +3 speed, with a drawback of -3 taijutsu for duration.

In this Maneuver, Souta attempts to reach forward with both claws at once, to dig in and rip out whatever gore he can manage.

In this Maneuver, Souta attempts to lash out with his tail and catch his opponent’s ankle or wrist with the goal of pulling them down or pulling them in for further attack.

A much more advanced version of Little Descent, this technique allows Souta to effectively glide, using his wings in transformation. In this Maneuver Souta uses his wings and tail in tandem. He spins with the wings to knock the target back and follow up with the tail around the neck. A hard step tightens the grip and begins to choke the target if Souta is successful.

Iaido Kenjutsu:
The samurai of the Land of Tea have produced a unique style of Kenjutsu called Iaido. Unlike other styles, which rely on the sword being drawn to attack, a practitioner of Iaido is always ready to attack their opponents, even when their weapon is sheathed in its scabbard. Known as a "sword drawing" technique, Iaido uses the smooth, linear motion of pulling the sword from its sheath to create abnormally fast slashes and strikes against often ignorant and unsuspecting opponents. Though the katana is preferred for this style, any curved sword single-edged sword with a complimenting scabbard is compatible with this style. Their ability to fight with both traditional swordplay and hand-to-hand combat while perfectly capable of switching to quick slashes and stabs using Iaido's hallmark techniques makes practitioners of this style unpredictable fighters. A defensive technique particularly useful when an opponent is close to the practitioner or is clinching them in a grapple, the practitioner grabs the hilt of their sword with a reverse grip and rams the butt or pommel of the hilt into the opponent's body, pushing the opponent back a number of meters equal to the difference between their Strength scores. Conversely, against opponents with higher Strength than their own, the practitioner can use this technique to push themselves back a number of meters equal to their own Strength score. The speed and simplicity of the attack can push opponents away and give the practitioner the needed space to set up additional attacks.

A simple technique meant to cripple the target's vision, the practitioner draws the sword from its scabbard and aims a quick slash at the eyes. This technique can be done in any single direction to either target one or both of the opponent's eyes.

An extension of the disabling effects of Cutting The Eyes, the practitioner draws the sword from the scabbard and slashes at the opponent's arms or elbows. Landing this technique can sever the muscles and tendons connecting in their arm, rendering the opponent's arm useless. This penalty lasts until the opponent is able to receive medical attention.

This penalty lasts until the opponent is able to receive medical attention.

This technique is particularly useful against opponents with a strong defense or some sort of natural armor. The practitioner draws their sword from its scabbard and slashes the opponent, which is followed by an immediate second slash in the exact opposite direction before the blade is immediately sheathed. The practitioner can choose to target the same spot to make a deeper cut or to target a different area instead. They may also choose to attack a second target with this technique instead.

Drawing upon the superlative speed of Iaido, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their body to draw their sword from its scabbard and deliver a blindingly fast slash before sheathing their blade. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have an average between their Instinct and Speed score, rounded up, higher than the practitioner's Speed. Otherwise, they cannot accurately read the attack and will be unlikely to completely avoid the attack, if at all.

An abnormally aggressive technique in Iaido, this technique serves as a preemptive counter, attacking the opponent in the split moment between drawing back to prepare an attack and launching said attack. Violently torquing the muscles in their legs, the practitioner more quickly accelerates to their maximum speed (or instantly accelerating to their max speed if their Strength is equal or higher than their Speed) than with normal movement. With this movement, the practitioner bolts toward the opponent and launches an attack, cutting the opponent as they pass to their side. This technique can be used while moving to immediately change direction instead before launching the attack. This technique is ineffective against opponent's with an average of their Taijutsu and Speed stats, rounded up, higher than the practitioner's Speed stat.

Making use of the trademark speed of Iaido to intercept enemy attacks, the practitioner draws their blade in a wide arc. This defensive slash allows the practitioner to deflect projectiles and clash with an opponent's weapon. Additionally, so long as the practitioner's Speed is equal to or higher than the opponent's Speed, this technique can be used to intercept and interrupt an opponent's technique or attack by striking the weapon or an area of the opponent's body before the attack reaches maximum strength and staggering them.

Prerequisite(s): 15 Speed, 15 Instinct, *Death's Passage.
A technique further refining the concept of targeting multiple opponents with a single draw, the practitioner uses their sheath hand to reverse grip the hilt. Using the one hand, the practitioner quickly torques their body and cuts with a reverse hand slash a full 360 degrees before immediately sheathing the blade. This technique can strike multiple opponents at once, and the reverse grip of the sword allows the practitioner to more easily defend against counterattacks immediately after.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Iaido • Death’s Gates].
Unlike most of Iaido's techniques, Silent Passing is not particularly useful in the heat of combat. Instead, it is an attack meant to be executed from a standing position, such as while casually walking towards an opponent. Once in close enough proximity to the opponent, the practitioner draws their sword, strikes the opponent's opening, and sheaths their blade with such speed, it appears to the untrained eye that the practitioner continued to simply walk past their target. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have an average between their Instinct and Speed score, rounded up, higher than the practitioner's Speed. Otherwise, the opponent will not be capable of fully avoiding this attack if they are in range without some sort of passive defense.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 35 Speed.
The superlative speed of Iaido is harnessed to attain seemingly supernatural feats. By momentarily torquing the muscles in their arms, the practitioner manages slashes so fast that they spawn vacuum blades that follow the trajectory of their original attack. This attack spawns a single vacuum blade that travels up to a number of meters equal to half the practitioner's Speed, rounded down, and hits with 1/2 the strength of the original attack, rounded down. If this this technique is used in tangent with a melee attack, the vacuum blade strikes immediately after the original attack is finished, potentially sealing the opponent's guard and creating an opening. This technique can be used in conjunction with other techniques.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 35 Speed, *[Iaido • Phantom Funeral].
Building upon the principle set by Phantom Funeral, this technique serves as a defense for the practitioner. By momentarily torquing the muscles in their arms, the practitioner spawns a vacuum in front of them. The practitioner immediately follows up by pulling the scabbard up to strike through the vacuum, causing the vacuum to collapse violently. The resulting radial shockwave pushes the opponent back with a Strength equal to 1/2 the practitioner's Strength, rounded down, for a number of meters equal to 1/2 the practitioner's Taijutsu, rounded down. This shockwave is ineffective against enemies with a higher Strength than the shockwave. Conversely, the practitioner may choose to ride the shockwave, pushing themselves back and away from the opponent the same distance.

Prerequisite(s): 35 Speed, *[Iaido • Phantom Funeral].
This technique adapts the Phantom Funeral technique to fight against multiple opponents. Momentarily torquing their body, the practitioner quickly spins in a full circle and slashes in a single movement, the movement happening so quickly that it's difficult to even see the initial slash being performed. Aside from the first slash being deadly in its own right, the speed of the slash creates a spiraling vortex of vacuum blades five meters high that expands outward up to a number of meters equal to half the practitioner's speed, rounded down. The vacuum blades strike with 1/3 the strength and speed of the original attack, rounded down.

A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Overwhelming the opponent with a literal shower of high-speed slashes, the practitioner torques the muscles in their arm to draw their sword and continue to assault the opponent's defenses with a seemingly unending wave of slashes. By torquing the muscles in the arm and twisting the wrist when changing the direction of the slash, each strike of the sword is as fast as if it had been drawn from its scabbard. This technique can be used while moving, and the practitioner can feint strikes within the flurry to throw the opponent off-guard. This technique can be used for up to three posts.

Then, the user will use the wind to blast them from the ground, enabling them to leap into the air an extra 10 meters at 3 extra speed. The user also has 3 less Taijutsu until they once again touch the ground. Those with less than 5 Taijutsu (after deduction) will stumble and fall when trying to land. The Fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

After performing the required hand seals, the user expels a basket ball sized ball of wind from their mouth. This ball of wind travels up to 20m at 5 speed, and explodes with the strength of a single explosive tag on contact with solid matter or at the end of its range.

After channeling the amount of necessary chakra, the user expels a short blast of Fuuton chakra about two meters out from their person that, if it makes contact with anyone around them, hits with a strength of 5. After channeling a small amount of chakra to their hands, the user may coat their palms with fuuton chakra in order to push away oncoming projectiles with their hands. This coating is only a light buffer between their flesh and the weapons, holding at a mere 5 strength before the weapon breaks through.

C-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals, the user will thrust their hands forward as a vortex of wind blasts through with a speed of 10. The vortex's direction can be controlled with a Control stat of at least 15. The control, however, is limited; it can only be moved in a 45 degree angle, up to three times. A hit from this vortex packs a large push back force, though the person can avoid being pushed back with a strength of 5 or greater. Control of this Jutsu fades after two posts and spans an area 3m wide and up to 20m in length. Direct hits result in long but shallow cuts on the victim's body, covering the whole radius of the techniques point of contact, no deeper than half an inch.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will create a clone out of their fuuton chakra. This clone will be able to act entirely independently of the user for 5 posts before dissipating, with physical capabilities equal to the stats listed below. This clone applies the fuuton passive to enemies it touches.

The user will first perform the required hand seals and then gather wind around an opponent. This will form a tornado around them at a speed of 12 which extends 10m into the air and has a radius of 3m. The tornado will push back anything that touches it with a strength of 8, while also cutting at whatever tries to push through as well as a kunai would with the same strength. This technique lasts for 4 posts.

Fuuton • Flash Wind
C-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After channeling chakra through their body, the user is able to 'fire' a vertical line of wind, equal to their height from their feet to the top of their head, from their left or right side. This fires at a speed and strength of ten and continues in a straight line for five meters before dissipating.

Fuuton • Cutting Shield
C-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After forming the required hand seals, the user forms a shield of fuuton chakra on either forearm of their choice (but only one), that is five feet high and three and a half feet wide. It lasts for five posts before it dissipates, if it hasn't been otherwise destroyed.

The user will do a series of hand seals and place their hands in the air. Releasing waves of chakra out of their hands. These waves of chakra will bounce back to the user after traveling out 25 meters in the air. As the chakra returns to the user it will evoke an image in the users head of the immediate area around them, anything in the air and anything up to 10 feet in the air. These are still images, not moving images, but can give the user a good idea of what is happening if they aren’t able to see otherwise.

The user will do a series of hand seals, and then place their hands in the air as the wind blows past it. So long as they are already aware of an object or being also being touched by the wind, within 50m of their position, they can send waves of chakra directly to that thing, sending the waves of chakra through them. This allows the user to get very precise imagery on how that person is fighting, what they have on their person, or what is within an object, or so forth. This jutsu can be maintained with movement, but does require some length of focus.

The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and then do an additional set of hand seals. By doing so, the user will be able to compare the “strength” of each source of chakra they are able to sense to each other. The “strength” of the individual is determined by the average of each person’s Stamina, Control and Strength stats. The user can determine who has more chakra strength than others, allowing them to pick out possible risks. This technique is not very reliable as a determining factor, however.

The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and focus on one source of chakra they can sense. By doing an additional hand seal, and holding said hand seal, the user will be able to continue to sense that source of chakra, even if they are moving around, so long as they are holding the hand seal. If they, or the chakra source, moves out of range, the user will lose track of them.

After activating Target Lock, the user will do a second series of hand seals, releasing the single seal for target lock, and then recreate it once finishing the series of seals for the technique. Doing so, the user will know their targets speed with a deviation of 3 points. Meaning if their speed is 17, the user will know its within the range of 14 to 20.

The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and then do a second set of hand seals. For the next 5 posts, any time anyone within the range of their sensory activates a jutsu, the user will see their chakra “flare” momentarily. While they won’t know anything about the jutsu, it will give them a better idea of the battle field.

This jutsu is an extension of [Beyond Senses]. With this jutsu initiated, a sensor can focus on individual chakra signatures to get a precise idea of where their opponents are at up to 25 meters. A general sense of the direction and number of chakra sources can be determined at about 50 meters. It should be noted that this jutsu requires intense concentration, often making the user shut their eyes so they can focus on the jutsu solely. Even with high levels of Chakra Control and Instinct, this jutsu can be mentally taxing as it requires the user to sort through the individual chakra sources in the sensor’s range.

Upon noticing one, the user will immediately do a single hand seal, allowing them to determine the affinity, strength, and speed if applicable, and sense where that chakra is going specifically. This means if it’s a projectile, they’ll be able to track and see the projectile in their minds eye. If it’s a fuuinjutsu, they are able to see that a fuuinjutsu is activated, but will not be able to follow the result unless they activate this jutsu again. This jutsu is very effective due to it’s broad mechanic.

Chakra is intimately linked with a person's mental state, and this technique makes use of that link to evaluate a person's emotions. The user is able to detect a flare in chakra reacting with emotions, evaluate and determine the general status of a person, should they be happy, sad, annoyed, but more importantly, can evaluate things like killing intent, and can be used to detect lies in people with Control less than 25.

After performing a set of hand seals, the user focuses chakra towards their hand. A chain made of Maroon chakra will shoot from their palm towards the target at 10 speed, up to 20 meters away. If it hits a spirit, a jinchuuriki, tsukimogami, or other such being, the chain will wrap around them, placing their arms, if they have any, to their side, stopping them from performing hand seals. These chains cling to the chakra of the Spirit itself, and are unable to be broken through physical means. If the target has a related Mastery stat or a Spirit has a strength stat higher than 10, they are able to break the binding. If the chains are able to stay on their target for a full 5 posts, they will drain away, causing the target to drop in available forms by 1 for up to 5 posts.

While useful for a quick glance, it can be used up to [Stamina]/5 posts, before needing to be refreshed.

This seal cannot be used multiple times, and if the incoming projectile has more than 5 strength, it will overpower it, making the technique useless.

Developed for clandestine operations originally, instead of using ink and paper, the user draws a seal onto their body the size of the item they are sealing into their body. Upon doing a set of hand seals, the user then slides the item into the tattoo and performs a second seal, causing the seal to go dormant. When kai'd the seal releases the stored item.

Right before contact, the user then performs another seal with their free hand causing the seal to pull in any incoming objects in a 4 meter long cone with a 6 meter diameter from the seal at a strength of 20. When the objects are pulled into the seal, it will close, finishing the technique. This seal cannot be used multiple times, and if the incoming projectile has more than 20 strength, it will overpower it, making the technique useless.

After setting the seals in their desired locations, the user may kai any one of the seals at anytime to activate the jutsu, causing a barrier the size of the formation to pop up around the area in-between at a speed of 8. The barrier has a strength of 12.

After drawing a seal formula on a surface 2 meters diameter in size, the seal is then placed in the center of a Four Seal Barrier Formation. The user then forms the needed hand seals and touches the seal with their hand arming it. If anything trips the barrier, it will trigger this seal formula to grow and shoot off of it's surface at a speed of 20 in a 10 meter radius. If the seals happen to catch anything, the seals will sprawl onto it locking it down and still at a strength of 20. Unfortunately, after three posts the seal runs out of energy and fades allowing the target to move once more.

The user will draw a fuuinjutsu, then activate it. From the fuuinjutsu, 6 tentacles of chakra will lash out, reaching for the nearest life form, that isn't the user, within 15m of the fuuin.The tentacles move at 20 speed, and grab onto things with 30 strength. Once they get a hold of someone, they'll pull them back towards the fuuin, where they hold the target for 5 posts. During the entire time the tentacles are holding the target, they wriggle and crush with 30 strength, doing their best to break bones in the target.

The user will draw a series of seals, each 1m in diameter, to form a square. Once activated, the jutsu will create a perimeter. Within the perimeter, no one is able to hear or see anything, and is completely unable to talk. Exiting the perimeter immediately returns these senses, however. This perimeter remains in place for 10 posts, but destroying one of the seals will deactivate it.

This covert enhancement ensures that no eavesdroppers will catch either side of the conversation, allowing those communicating to privately convey messages to each other.

Prerequisite: 1 S-Rank Fuuinjutsu
Fuuinjutsu is an extremely formulaic style of jutsu, the seal itself almost forming a "source code" of sorts to the actual purpose of the seal. After the appropriate hand seals, the user will touch the seal, scanning it carefully with their chakra and analyzing the handiwork of the seal. Due to the complexity of seals, it takes a significant amount of time to tell more than the rank and whether or not a seal may have negatives to being removed. Outside of combat however, where time is a plenty, adept fuuinjutsu user can study a seal in depth learning most of its secrets.

Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Rokuro has short dark brown hair, often kept messy and pushed towards his face. His eyes are a very deep brown, just shy of black. The sides of his head are nearly shaved with tattoos decorating either side. His jaw is massively scarred, deformed almost, as if it was lopped off and hastily reattached at one point in time.
  • Body: Rokuro’s body is heavily scarred, chunks of his ‘gem’, Tourmaline, sticking out of him in various places in jagged forms. The pieces are more prevalent on his upper torso and arms.
  • Notable Features: Most people notice Rokuro for his creepy appearance, largely due to the pieces of Tourmaline jutting out of his body in chunks in places all over his shoulders, arms, and upper torso, as well as the tattoos on the sides of his head.
Clothing/Accessories: Rokuro wears a pair of boots that go up to his knees, appearing to be armored and even having separate pieces, worn of course over a pair of dark pants with a dark belt. He almost never wears a shirt due to his rather unique features, but sometimes opts for a dark, loose-fitting cloak when the weather calls for it. He also wears a facemask that covers his nose, mouth, entirety of his jaw and jawline, going up over his ears. The primary purpose of this mask is to hide his deformities that were the result of an old fight.

Personality:
  • General: Rokuro’s appearance being a bit off-putting to others, at best, means his personality isn’t much different. He can be fairly harsh and stern even. He rarely shows a sense of humor. Prior to his injuries that resulted in his deformities however, he was often always smiling, making jokes, and was even starting to show signs of being a bit of a womanizer, all of that stopped the day he was hurt and he became a much darker person after that.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Rokuro’s sole focus is keeping an eye on the Soul Genma, and so his so-called hopes and dreams focus around keeping the spirit in check, even hoping one day that the village might seal the thing away and never bring it out again or seal it in another person ever again.
  • Fears: Rokuro fears the full release of Shishire.
  • Combat Mentality: Rokuro is both a ninjutsu and genjutsu user and as such doesn’t always get close to his targets unless explicitly going in for the kill.

The Corruption Blade:
A four foot long sword made of Rokuro’s corrupted Shouton, it weakens any enemy it touches. This weakening comes at the same effect as nearly an A rank jutsu, in a -10 to Stamina. This debuff is a one time static that lasts for three posts and cannot be stacking into multiples, however it is refreshed on renewed contact.

ShoutonBorn to the Kouseki clan, this user is able to utilize Crystal Release, a fusion composed of Doton and Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require Shouton. Shouton has a absorbing effect.
Passive (Absorbing)Show
Shouton release alone is durable, hard, makes good defenses and produces weapons with ease, but is unique for its absorbing quality. Shouton jutsu have the ability to absorb chakra, and can be manipulated based on the chakra they absorb. This means that any jutsu that does not immediately destroy shouton techniques can actually make them stronger. If a shouton technique is struck by a D-rank jutsu, it is damaged as normal, and if it is not destroyed, the chakra used to damage it is absorbed, and can be used to activate a D-rank Shouton jutsu in response. This energy can be accumulated, where 2 D-ranks equal 1 C-rank, and 2 C-rank equal 1 B-rank and so forth. The absorbing effect does not negate damage to a shouton technique. This absorbing quality has no time limit to its use.
Activation:
Shouton Jutsu have an absorbing quality, which causes them to be created in an inactive state. When a shouton jutsu absorbs chakra it will glow, which signals that it can be activated. Additional jutsu must be used to activate a shouton technique, which can cause a wide variety of effects. Once activated, if the crystal is not destroyed, it defaults to normal Doton, losing the [Absorbing] effect and gaining Doton's [Enduring] effect, but only having 1/4 it's original strength, rounded down.

Taijutsu – ToryuShow
Toryu Style:
Toryu, a style of Kenjutsu founded in the Land of Pebbles, melds traditional kenjutsu swordplay with subversive feints and sudden bursts of close quarters combat, two unyielding hills crashing together to form a mountain. Toryu typically favors use of the blade with one hand, utilizing the freedom of movement to use one's hands, joints, legs, head, and even the hilt and handle of the sword to make an already deadly style more unpredictable and more lethal. Ignorantly considered a very "unrefined" style by most practitioners of the sword, Toryu is actually one of the most difficult styles of Kenjutsu to learn and master. The very basic premise of the style revolves around the firm control and manipulation of one's own movements and body, some techniques requiring execution while using another attack as a feint or misdirection while not sacrificing strength. The style has no weapon requirements outside of a sword, but many users often prefer kodachi, wakizashi, ninjato, or even tanto, the reduced size and weight of the blades having fewer blindspots and making the user's weapon more mobile.

D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The signature Stance of Toryu, practitioners relax the muscles in their bodies, gaining additional flexibility in their movements in how they approach the enemy, how they retreat, how they evade attacks, and how they attack the opponent. This Stance allows the practitioner to more easily read opponent's attacks and defend against them by evading in unusual ways, such as ducking, bending around, and quickly sidestepping attacks without needlessly exposing themselves to additional attacks. This fleet-footed Stance lets the practitioner mix up their movements to confuse and misdirect the opponent, allowing them to attack lesser known openings in the opponent's guard. It also allows the practitioner to rapidly and reflexively change the angle, position and grip of their weapon with minimal movement, allowing them multiple manners in which they can attack the opponent or defend against attacks.

After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. A practitioner of Toryu is capable of attacking with every part of their body, even their heads. This Discipline represents the practitioner's capacity and experience with executing palm strikes, heel strikes, knee strikes, elbow strikes, and headbutts/skull bashes just as effectively as regular punches, kicks, and sword strikes. This Discipline allows the practitioner to consistently execute these kinds of attacks while minimizing or eliminating openings in their defenses or shock/damage they would experience while using these kinds of strikes.

The practitioner moves in and initiates a feint in the form of a thrust. Part way through the thrust, however, the practitioner twists their arm to the side and drops low, rotating and lashing out with a spinning low kick, attempting to sweep the opponent's feet out from under them. Opponents with a Taijutsu stat higher than the practitioner's Strength stat can resist the tripping effect.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Moving in to launch either an unarmed attack or an attack with their blade, the practitioner will launch a simultaneous unarmed attack or weapon attack with their other hand, bringing their fist or the pommel/butt of their weapon to slam into the opponent's guard, targeting their hands or wrists. Opponents with an average of their Strength and Stamina stats, rounded up, higher than the practitioner's Strength stat can resist having their guard be disrupted. Otherwise, the practitioner slams the opponent's guard aside, potentially allowing the original attack to strike the opponent directly.

Prerequisite(s): 8 Taijutsu, 8 Strength.
One of Toryu's many grappling techniques, the practitioner steps in close to the opponent, slamming their heel into the opponent's foot to lock the target in place. In the same movement, the practitioner grabs the opponent's arm and flips them over their back, slamming them to the ground. The prone position this leaves the opponent in leaves them exposed to an attack of opportunity from the practitioner's weapon after executing this technique.

Prerequisite(s): 8 Taijutsu, 8 Strength.
Designed as a counterattack but also a potent attack by itself, the practitioner will first wait to block or parry an opponent's attack with their weapon. Then, the practitioner will quickly counter with a swift knee strike to the opponent's stomach or diaphragm to stun them or cause them to stagger by winding them, followed by a quick slash or stab to their chest or stomach. The practitioner may choose to use this as an attack instead by immediately leading off with the knee strike if they so wish.

Designed as a counterattack but also a potent attack by itself, the practitioner will first wait to sidestep an attack before countering with a swift elbow strike with their sword hand to the opponent's face to stun them or cause them to stagger by winding them, grabbing the opponent's arm or garment with their unarmed hand to hold them in place. Immediately following the elbow strike, the practitioner will pull the opponent to one side while executing a slash in the opposite direction with their sword hand.

Many of the Toryu techniques would put the user in incredibly daring positions where a single mistake could instantly spell disaster for the swordsman. As a result, Toryu practitioners must train themselves constantly to avoid letting their fears distract them from their task. A practitioner with this technique has learned to shut out fear in the heat of combat, allowing them to perform attacks and techniques without the risk of failure due to fear responses.

An unorthodox use of swordsmanship, the practitioner rushes the opponent and leaps at them, attempting to land on their shoulders. Should the practitioner succeed, they will forcefully shift their weight onto the opponent's shoulders, potentially unbalancing them. Opponents with an average of their Taijutsu and Strength stats, rounded up, higher than the practitioner's average of their Taijutsu and Strength stats, rounded down, can resist having their guard be disrupted. Otherwise, the opponent will be suddenly thrown off balancing, leaving their head, neck, or torso exposed for the practitioner to attack with their sword.

A technique allowing the practitioner to partially customize their focus on defense or offense, the practitioner guards against attacks while immediately attacking subsequent openings with their free hand. The form this takes depends on which hand they prioritize for defense. Should they choose to guard with their sword hand, the practitioner deflects the attacks outwards, away from the opponent's center of mass where their guard is strongest, and responds by launching unarmed counter attacks like a punch, elbow, or throw. If they choose to guard with their unarmed hand, the practitioner blocks the attack by intercepting the haft of the weapon or the opponent's wrists with the back of their fist or forearm and counter with more lethal slashes and stabs from their sword.

After performing a set of hand seals, the user focuses chakra towards their hand. A chain made of Maroon chakra will shoot from their palm towards the target at 10 speed, up to 20 meters away. If it hits a spirit, a jinchuuriki, tsukimogami, or other such being, the chain will wrap around them, placing their arms, if they have any, to their side, stopping them from performing hand seals. These chains cling to the chakra of the Spirit itself, and are unable to be broken through physical means. If the target has a related Mastery stat or a Spirit has a strength stat higher than 10, they are able to break the binding. If the chains are able to stay on their target for a full 5 posts, they will drain away, causing the target to drop in available forms by 1 for up to 5 posts.

After performing the needed hand seals and focusing chakra into their hand, the user places their hand on the head of a Spirit host, or on the object containing a spirit. This allows them to speak directly to the spirit in a telepathic link.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user will create a 10 meter cubed barrier within 15 meters of their location at a speed of 10. This barrier is created of pure Maroon chakra and will only stop things that are related to spirits, normally jinchuuriki. As a result, those that are stopped by the barrier are unable to make their way through unless they can break it with a strength of 10 or higher. Those untainted by spirits are able to pass through the barrier at their leisure. This barrier lasts for 4 posts.

After preforming the necessary hand seals, the user shoots out a chain of Maroon Chakra at 10 speed that wraps around the spirit. If the spirit stays sealed within this chain for 4 posts. The spirit is subjected to the control of the user of the technique, regardless of contracts up to 4 posts. If the spirit has more than 10 strength it can break the chain. This jutsu can only be used on D-Rank spirits.

A rather simple genjutsu that is put into place when the user says a statement ending in "When Pigs Fly". Seconds later, anyone who hears the user say that will see several pigs with full hawk wings fly past, just a few feet above the user and the victim’s head, serving as a somewhat confusing distraction.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After performing the hand seals and pricking the opponent with some sort of small weapon (usually senbon), the opponent feels their arms and legs fall asleep. It feels as if the blood flow to these appendages has basically stopped, making their movements a tad sluggish and just all around uncomfortable. This jutsu doesn’t really hinder a person, but it makes everything they do feel off. For those who are attuned to the way their body feels during battle, it can be extremely distracting. Lasts 3 posts.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, any victim that sees the user preforming the hand seals will be induced under the genjutsu. This causes the target to begin to smell rotting flesh and decaying bodies. The jutsu can cause nausea and vomiting from the target, depending on how sensitive their sense of smell is. The smell of the dead can also cause some mental stress on the target. This genjutsu lasts for three (3) posts.

The user will do a series of hand seals, then point indiscriminately. Should the target see the pointing motion, they'll be captured in this genjutsu. For the following 4 posts, the target will see a shadow in the corner of their eyes, constantly shifting out of view when they attempt to look at it.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, then within the next post, snap their fingers. Anyone who hears the snapping will hear an explosion in the distance behind them. This works as an effective distraction, or a scare tactic, if properly utilized.

C-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
This is a genjutsu technique that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ninja will perform some hand seals and make eye contact with the target. Once cast, the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion. The illusion is at the discretion of the user. However, they can only make a stationary image, or a visual loop, not a controllable visual illusion. Examples would be a decapitated head on a table, or one of their friends running in circles on fire. This illusions may only last up to 4 posts, or until the user ends the jutsu themselves. As a note, this only effects sight.


*[Genjutsu • Burning to Death]
C-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
This is a genjutsu technique which can be used in quite a few ways. The user forms a hand seal, and as long as the opponent(s) see it, then the genjutsu will begin. The user and the opponent(s) will both light on fire and start to burn, from the feet up to the head, in the opponent's mind. The opponent will normally start to panic and try to get rid of the fire, especially since they feel as if they were in actual pain. This genjutsu lasts for 4 posts and will not appear to be able to be extinguished, no matter what the victim does. The illusion is very static, in the sense that it doesn't change with the environment, it merely creates an illusory flame and pain.

C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
This is a three post genjutsu. To start the genjutsu, the ninja does the hand seals that are needed and then places a hand on the target. Until the genjutsu ends the target is able to remember a lot more about their past and has a lighter barrier over their consciousness making it easier for them to spill information. This doesn’t weaken their will, however, meaning if they are aware it’s a genjutsu, they are more than capable of using Kai.

Kouseki Rokuro was born the only child of a single mother, though by the age of five he was an orphan. His mother having died in the line of duty, Rokuro himself was passed from foster family to foster family, never really feeling like he found a home again. He pushed himself to embrace the clan as his own, even as he pursued the academy. At the time of his right of passage, his chosen stone was a beautiful multi-colored, though primarily deep blue, Labrodite that was implanted into his forehead and hands. He was fond of his stone, and the beauty of it. It was as complex as he felt he was, and when he became a genin he slowly became overly fond of showing them off. He has became very good at paying the proper attention to girls.

At the young age of 12 he never really took on a steady girlfriend, but before he had a chance to hit Chunin he’d certainly been slapped by more than one girl who had thought she was “his only one”. He had garnered a bit of a reputation for him. After his chunin exam and fight, which he won, he began to be noticed for his promise in combat. He became a chunin at the age of 15, and had dreams of taking on more important roles as a shinobi and within the village. Of course, his dreams of spending time with the ladies hadn’t changed either.

It wasn’t until he was promoted to Special Jounin at 17 and given a spot on Meiyo Souta’s team guarding the genma that things took a turn for the worse. The host at the time, Henrin Sachiko, lost control and during the fight Rokuro was horribly injured. His face was horribly disfigured by Shijutsu, causing him to wear a mask to often hide the deformities. In addition his chakra was affected as his soul was damaged, a technique of his own blown to bits by the host and impaling him in several places where the crystal bonded into his flesh and bone, causing a corruption of his Shouton ability and allowing him access to something new, to Corrupted Shouton. He also finds himself suddenly afflicted with CIPA, robbing him of his ability to feel pain, or the difference between hot and cold, a condition he is still trying to find a cure for. His hatred of the Soul Genma began here, leading him to wishing the thing didn’t exist and was no longer used by the village. But as both reward and punishment he was forced to remain on Souta’s team, and told before his next promotion he must find a way to come to terms with his hatred of Shishire’s host, and “to just do his job”.

Naegi Kaede was born into a fairly lavish lifestyle. Her mother was a matriarch of their House, holding sway among the families despite not being a shinobi herself. Being an only child Kaede was both doted upon and groomed from an early age as if she would one day take her mother's place. At the age of ten she received her first Jishu seed, planting it and keeping it in her room from that day forward. She always loved working with the plant, as well as helping her mother in the House Gardens as well, but by time she was about twelve she made a decision her mother considered rebellious. As an only child and one being groomed for 'higher purposes', Kaede was never expected to become a shinobi, and yet at the age of twelve she insisted upon it. Thinking she would hate what she experienced, hzer mother allowed for it and much to the woman's dismay Kaede's interest only grew from there. From the moment she had heard of it, she became obsessed with Iijutsu and healing others.

As a Genin, her mother began to make her displeasure at the entire situation all the more known, but Kaede never cared. She ignored her mother and dove headfirst into her training, often volunteering at the hospitals just to get more experience and learn more about medicine and Iijutsu. She was obsessed, doing all the research she could, to the point that when it came time for her to earn her rank of Chunin, she wasn't ready. She took the fight regardless, managing to draw the fight out just by making herself difficult and refusing to give up. But in the end she lost, and yet proved her worth still. Her opponent, in their effort to win the fight, took on a bad wound. The fight was stopped, but regardless of the situation Kaede refused to just stand by and rushed to the other Genin's aid. Without the technique Mystical Palm in her arsenal she still managed to help her opponent, saving their life before a higher ranked medic could get onto the field to help. This action earned her the rank up she thought she'd lost by losing the fight.

It was as a Chunin however that she found her interests splitting from being just in Iijutsu, to being in Tenkujutsu as well. She had just started seeing a boy a little older than her that was a genma handler, and while ordinarily he didn't talk about his work an incident occurred where he didn't have much choice. She was called to the hospital after he was severely wounded, wounds that left him disfigured and killed another handler. Unable to help him with traditional Iijutsu the other medics gave up on him, and Kaede herself was forced to distance herself as he ended the relationship, his disfigurement making him an entirely different person. But her concern didn't stop and she started learning Tenkujutsu in the hopes that one day she could combine the two to help him, something she would learn later was an impossible task. Though in the end she was assigned on the same handler team as her ex, a man named Kouseki Rokuro.

In recent days the young woman has worked alongside Rokuro and Souta to keep an eye on the Genma host Sakaki, and during that time earned her promotion to Special Jounin when her team leader, Meiyo Souta, was gravely injured and her quick actions saved his life.

  • Face/head: Kaede has very long nearly white hair that is well past her backside in its length. She always keeps this pulled back in a ponytail and due to its length often has several ties down the length of it to keep it from getting into her face. Her face is a bit of an oval, almost round, her skin flawless as with many in her clan. Her eyes are a golden hue, albeit dark compared to what some may expect.
  • Body: Kaede is not muscled in appearance, having a wonderful set of curves to her and very little muscle definition save for her arms. She does not have any tattoos or scars, her skin being flawless such is normal in her clan.

Clothing/Accessories: Kaede wears a pair of dark pinkish shorts under a short-skirted style kimono complete with a black wrap around her waist. She has on black and red forearm guards complete with a collar to match. She wears black gloves under her guards and a half-face mask most days. Her shoes are black and red boots that come up to her mid-calf and netted leggings that come halfway up her thigh.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Suiton affinity. Suiton has a passive enveloping effect.
Passive (Enveloping)Show
Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.
Flourish Style
Flourish Style is the Naegi's brand of plant based Ninjutsu. Utilizing special seeds, the Naegi are capable of growing a wide variety of plant life that they can utilize for offensive, defensive, or utilitarian purposes. Capable of growing growing crops for food or forcing a seed to grow into a plant of abnormal size, the House style allows the Naegi to manipulate the seeds and plants they create both in and out of combat. All plant techniques are susceptible to Katon techniques as they will wither and be destroyed by such techniques.

This concentration allows for the user to user chakra to affect the biological processes of a living creature. This includes modifying, speeding up, or slowing down the biological processes. Iijutsu is known for it's advanced nature and requires precise chakra control to work effectively. It can be differentiate from normal techniques by the faint light green colour of the chakra used in Iijutsu techniques.

This simple technique is utilized by medical-nin in place of traditional thermometers, although it is not as accurate. After forming a single handseal and focusing chakra into an object in his/her hand, the user can place it within the mouth (or rear) of the patient. If the patient's temperature is above normal body temperature, the chakra within the object will clump together near the top of it, while if the body temperature is below average, the chakra will form much lower down on the object. This technique can be held as long as the user has chakra.

E-Ranked Ninjutsu
When real latex gloves are not on hand, the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Gloves] technique comes in quite handy. After forming a single handseal, the user will focus chakra into his/her hands to form a thin layer of chakra around them. This chakra will help to protect other objects against the bacteria on the user's hands if sterilization is not an option before beginning a procedure. This technique can be held as long as the user has chakra.

E-Ranked Ninjutsu
Not unlike the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Gloves] technique, *[Iijutsu • Chakra Mask] shines when the real deal is not on hand. After forming a single handseal, the user will focus chakra into the area around his/her mouth and nose to form a thin layer of chakra around them. This chakra will help to keep the user from breathing bacteria onto a patient during procedures. This technique can be held as long as the user has chakra.

*[Iijutsu • Sterilization Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
As sanitation cannot always be guaranteed in field operations, this technique provides a quick substitute to traditional sterilization methods. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel the chakra throughout his/her upper body (torso, arms, hands, face). This chakra will chew away at harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies on the skin, cleansing it until it is thoroughly sterile, and can be spread to objects, most commonly surgical tools. Of course, this takes both concentration and time, and in order to sterilize the entire upper body, it will take a duration of one (1) post. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead for a lesser concentration period. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.

Simple in its form yet highly effective in practice, the *[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow] technique allows its users to clear obstructed airways, to perform less extensive CPR, and to give cells the oxygen they crave. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place both over the target's chest (through the back works as well). By allowing the chakra to be channeled throughout the lungs and up through the air ways, any unseen, solid or liquid obstructions will be cleared from these passages and ejected through the mouth, allowing the patient to breathe more easily. Additionally, the hands can be placed over the heart to help oxygenate the body's cells. In this instance, users must be much more careful, as over-oxygenating cells can cause more harm than good. This technique takes the entirety of one post to perform.

*[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
This highly useful field technique is applied to bleeding wounds to help encourage the coagulation of the blood. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot. Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

*[Iijutsu • Skin Separation]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Typically used to make the autopsy process smoother, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Separation] technique separates the skin of the corpse from the underlying muscle. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will slowly move them over the desired area, usually holding them about an inch away from the body itself. As the chakra is channeled through the flesh, it will slowly sink to the final layer of the skin and begin to form a new layer between the skin and the muscle beneath. After this layer has fully formed, the chakra will stay there for four (4) posts, allowing the user to easily separate the flesh and muscle. This non-combat technique cannot be used on living beings as the postmortem physiology is different from that of a living creature.

*[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A relatively simple and handy technique to have at hand, *[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique] is used to alleviate pain caused by burn wounds. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channeled into and around the burn, it cools the area and works to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area. To provide this soothing relief to small areas of first degree burns, it's fairly quick to do. For small areas of second degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. This technique is ineffective when applied to larger areas or burns worse than second degree.

*[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
When traditional stitching supplies aren't available, *[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] truly shines. After performing a short set of handseals, the user will gently place his/her index finger at the base of the patient's wound. Once this is done, the user will lift his/her finger and touch it to the other side of the wound, causing a visible 'stitch' of chakra to appear. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Although precision is key, this technique can still be performed relatively quickly. Small to moderate wounds take very little time to stitch, while large wounds will take one (1) post of work to mend. This technique drains a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attached to in order to keep the stitches going, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. Any intensive or strenuous movements will cause the stitches to break.

*[Iijutsu • Bandage Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Sterilization Technique]
A simple yet vital medical technique, the *[Iijutsu • Bandage Technique] provides its users with the ability to create makeshift bandages out of any suitable material they desire. After channeling chakra into an object (such as a leaf, piece of cloth, etc.), the user is able to apply it to the wound of a patient. Once applied, the selected object will adhere to the flesh around the wound, protecting it from bacteria and other harmful foreign bodies. Objects used for the bandage technique are automatically sterilized in the process. These bandages drain a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attatched to in order to keep them stuck on, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. While not as effective at stopping bleeding as the [Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] technique, they hold on much better in the case that strenuous movement is necessary.

C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
This simple ninjutsu is comprised of the user's knowledge of the human body and the ability to mask all vital signs. By focusing chakra throughout the body to preserve its function while in this state, the user can appear to be dead as long as they have chakra to spare. This act can seem very realistic to the untrained opponent, but is foiled by sensor techniques, certain doujutsu and jutsu, and the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] technique.

*[Iijutsu • Numbing]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
This field-oriented technique is used in place of typical anesthetics when they're not at hand. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place them over a group of muscles. As the chakra is channeled through the chosen area, numbness will begin to creep throughout it, beginning with the flesh before seeping into the muscle below. Small areas of numbness require very little time, while medium-sized areas (equivalent to half a limb) require one (1) post to numb, and anything larger than an entire limb requires two (2) posts of concentration to numb. This numbing begins where the user has placed his/her hands and spreads outward until the hands are removed. The numbness can only cause pain equivalent to being stabbed with a kunai to be nullified. Once numbed, the effects last for four (4) posts before fading.

*[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
Perhaps one of the most important Iijutsu techniques to date, the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] allows its users to probe another's body in search for medical answers. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. Using this chakra as an internal extension of his/her hand to feel for abnormalities and other issues, the user is often able to determine the problem after some time and concentration. In order for a thorough examination to provide sufficient answers, the user will focus for up to one (1) post, seeking signs of internal and external damage, organ malfunction and disease among other ailments. Although skilled medical-nin have the possibility to work faster, skill cannot be substituted in for thoroughness.

*[Iijutsu • Skin Generation]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Often utilized by medical-nin to heal small, superficial wounds or for producing excess skin to use in skin grafts, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique has its number of uses. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel it into a small area of skin cells on the patient's body. This chakra will force the skin cells to multiply at an ample rate by confusing this area of the body into its reconstruction stage that is achieved during slumber. As this is a type of regeneration, users must keep in mind that each cell draws from nutrients in the patient's body, and as such, too much can cause serious harm. In order to regenerate medium-sized areas of superficial wounds, it takes one (1) post of concentration. Areas smaller than this take considerably less time. In the case that the skin sample is separate from the body, the cells can be multiplied more quickly than they could be otherwise. These types of samples are generally use for skin grafts. The *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique can be held for four (4) posts.

*[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: User's averaged Instinct and Control stats must be 10 or above
A useful, but particularly taxing technique, the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique] is performed on poisoned patients. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will make a small incision (with a knife, scalpel, etc.) on the patient and then place his/her hands over the new wound. As this chakra is channeled into the body, it extracts the poison out of it and into the user's palm. After one (1) post of the extraction process, the user will remove his/her hand, and place it over a container of some sort (anything that can bear liquid). From here, the liquid poison will be ejected from the hand along with the remaining chakra that was used to extract it. As this chakra interacts with the poison over the course of a second post, its molecules will be rearranged to form the antidote for the poison in question. This works only on C-Rank or lower poisons. The antidote takes a total of three (3) posts to fully rid the body of the poison.

*[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
Formulated to work in conjunction with the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique], *[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure] extends upon the antidote created in the aforementioned technique. Once the antidote has been concocted following the description of the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique], the user will begin to channel additional chakra throughout the antidote to make it especially potent. This increased potency not only rids the body of the C-Rank or lower liquid poison that was in the body over the (3) posts it takes to work, but also induces an immunity in the patient which lasts for seven (7) posts.

*[Iijutsu • Removal Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
In the event that a foreign object gets lodged into a patient's body, such as the point of shuriken or a senbon, the *[Iijutsu • Removal Technique] can be utilized to retrieve it. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them on either side of the wound in question. From here, the medical-nin will carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues by channeling chakra into them, coaxing the foreign object to the surface of the wound in order to extract it. Users of this technique are advised to analyze the severity of the wound beforehand, as more complex wounds will take longer than the one (1) post of concentration needed to extract most objects from superficial to moderate wounds. This technique should be used in conjunction with a tissue regeneration technique or the *[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]. The *[Iijutsu • Removal Technique] can be held for a maximum of four (4) posts.

*[Iijutsu • Cleanse Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
In the event that creating an antidote is not possible, users of this technique can still help their patient fight off toxins, infections and other foreign bodies. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. As this chakra flows into the body, the leukocytes will react to its presence and begin to multiply rapidly. This influx of white blood cells takes one (1) post of concentration to create. Over the course of five (5) posts, the new and old leukocytes are able to fight off poisons that are C-Rank and below that have entered the body. During these final five posts, the medical-nin does not need to continuously focus chakra into the patient. It will take care of itself at this point.

*[Iijutsu • Skin Mask]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Skin Separation]
This particularly disturbing technique is typically utilized by medical-nin operating covertly. After obtaining a dead body, the user will use the *[Iijutsu • Skin Separation] technique to carefully remove the facial skin from the underlying tissue. Once this has been done, the user will begin to focus channel chakra into the separated skin before applying it to his/her face. As this chakra makes contact with the user's skin, the skin cells will bond, creating a seamless mask. This new face remains stable for up to thirty (30) total posts before it will begin to rot. This technique does not remove facial wounds or rot from the face in question, it only allows the user to bind it to his/her own face.

*[Iijutsu • Burn Treatment]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique]
A step up in the ability to treat burns, *[Iijutsu • Burn Treatment] is used to alleviate pain caused by burn wounds. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channeled into and around the burn, it cools the area and works to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area. To provide this soothing relief to medium-sized areas of first degree and second degree burns, it's fairly quick to do. For small-sized areas of third degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. This technique is ineffective when applied to larger areas or burns worse than third degree.

*[Iijutsu • Blood Transfer Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
A simple technique that requires its users to sacrifice a little to save a life, the*[Iijutsu • Blood Transfer Technique] does exactly what its name suggests. To prepare for this procedure, the user must make a small incision into the patient's body and follow by opening a vein. Once the vein has been open, the user will begin to channel chakra into it. Over the course of one (1) post, the patient's blood will gain density and stabilize itself. Users of this technique must be aware that their own blood will dilute over the duration of this technique, as it is essentially transferring blood from their bodies to the patient's. No more than 1 liter (2 pints) of blood can be transferred using this technique without severe repercussions for the user.

*[Iijutsu • Bone Fracture Technique]
C-Ranked Nintaijutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel]
Once the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel] has been activated, users may choose to use this jutsu as an alternative to the aforementioned technique's usual action. When in close range, the user will attempt to jab his/her charged hand at the opponent, seeking to connect with a bone. If successful, the chakra will be released into the opponent's body as a sharp, precise burst to the area of contact, causing the bone to fracture. If this area is struck again in the same spot, the bone will inevitably break. This technique does not harm anything but the bone—not even the skin—and is dispelled after three (3) posts or until contact with the opponent is made. However, since both hands are charged, the user has two chances with this technique per use (one per hand).

B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Burn Treatment]
Yet another step up in the ability to treat burns, *[Iijutsu • Burn Heal] is used to alleviate pain caused by burn wounds. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channeled into and around the burn, it cools the area and works to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area. To provide this soothing relief to large-sized areas of first degree and second degree burns it's fairly quick to do. For medium-sized areas of third degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. Lastly, for small areas of fourth degree burns, it also takes one (1) post of concentration due to the very delicate nature of this type of burn.

*[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Perhaps one of the most dangerous and revered Iijutsu honed by medical-nin, the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel] is no precision instrument. After performing the necessary handseals, the user will begin to focus an ample amount of chakra into his/her hands. Once charged with chakra, the user will attempt to place his/her hands on the target. If the user is able to connect the entirety of his/her palm, the chakra will be released into the opponent's body, slicing tissue, organs and veins up to 4 inches from the surface in an area roughly the size of the user's hand. The skin remains unblemished by this technique, as it only causes small to moderate internal wounds. As this technique is dangerous and mostly uncontrolled, the precision needed to kill instantaneously is lost. The chakra used in this technique is highly visible when first activated and emanates from both hands for a duration of three (3) posts or until contact with the opponent is made.

*[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm]
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 20 Iijutsu
One of the almighty and most highly coveted abilities of medical-nin, the *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm] technique allows its users to heal wounds quickly and efficiently. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them over the wound in question and begin to channel chakra through it. As the chakra interacts with the cells and tissues in the area, the wound will begin to regenerate and heal over until there's no remnant of it ever being there. Of course, this is not done in the blink of an eye. To heal small-to-moderate wounds, it takes very little time, while large wounds take one (1) post of concentration to mend, and mortal wounds take a total of two (2) posts to fully mend. This technique lasts for four (4) posts, but due to its chakra-extensive nature, users are not advised to treat multiple large wounds in a single use.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals or channeling their chakra, the Naegi will focus chakra into a Jishu seed and activate it. This seed will proceed to sprout into an elephant ear plant with leaves that all grow in such a way that they make a sort of wall. This wall is 2 meters tall and 1 meter wide, the massive leaves dropping from the plant stalk to leave no gaps. These chakra fueled plant leaves will be rigid and capable of withstanding against attacks with a Strength of 5 or less. Katon techniques will burn through the plants with ease. The plant itself will grow with a Speed of 5 and lasts for a total of 5 posts before withering away.

~[Flourish Style: Cardoon Plant]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the necessary one handed seals while holding onto a Jishu seed or channeling chakra while holding the seed, the Naegi will throw it at an opponent as it activates. Once activated the seed will peel along it's length, revealing vegetative matter that quickly grows, expanding into the shape of the Cardoon plant's artichoke globe. This globe is roughly 5 inches in diameter and has 3 inch long spines growing off of it. These spines pierce like senbon and because it's spiked all around, it makes removal a little more difficult without a delicate touch. After about 5 posts, the Cardoon globe will wither and it's spines will fall off.

~[Flourish Style: Hidden Seed]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals or channeling chakra, the Naegi will focus chakra into their mouth and into a seed within 1m of their person. The seed will be summoned into their mouth, where they can proceed to spit it out at a Speed equal to half the Naegi's Strength and impacts with same force it was spit . The seed itself will travel up a to a distance equal to their Strength in meters.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals or channeling chakra, the Naegi will focus Suiton into a dead seed and force it to increase in size as it absorbs the moisture. This technique can make a dead seed grow to be nearly 1m in diameter and because of the moisture it has absorbed, it will weigh nearly 50 lbs. This swollen seed can be throw like a projectile or used in other means.

~[Flourish Style: Harvest Eye]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals, the Naegi will focus chakra into their eyes. Once this is done, their irides seem to glow from the excess chakra, making it look like small ethereal flames are smoldering from their eyes. At this level of strength, the Naegi are able to determine the health of most flora they can see. This will allow them to see if the organism is damaged, what it needs in regards to nutrients, or even what kind of care it may require. This technique is primarily used by the Naegi to determine what crops are ready for harvesting, although other applications still exist for it. In regards to length, this doujutsu will last for a number of posts dependent on the Naegi's Stamina.

C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing a series of one handed seals or channeling chakra while holding a Jishu seed, the Naegi will proceed to throw it at their opponent after activating it. One thrown, the seed will peel back along it's length to revealed vegetative matter that quickly grows into a Golden Ball Cactus. This cactus will be barrel shaped, roughly 1m in diameter and covered in long, straight red spines. This Cactus is incapable of sticking into something like the Cardoon Plant jutsu due to it's size, but this large plant is capable of lingering on the battlefield to be knocked around at the opponent after the initial throw. After 6 posts, this cactus will wither and it's spines will fall off.

~[Flourish Style: Camel Thorn Plant]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals or channeling chakra, the Naegi will focus chakra into a Jishu seed and activate it. Upon being planted, the seed will grow rapidly with a Speed of 10 into a sprawling shrub like plant. This plant can grow over obstacles, attempt to grow over people, or even grow straight up like a shrub wall. The reasoning for this is not defensive but as a trap. The plant's leaves all hide the real danger beneath as the plant is made up of vines that have large, sharp thorns. These vines and the arrangement of their thorns are almost like razor wire and will attempt to tangle up anything that passes through it. This vegetation will last for a total of 5 posts.

~[Flourish Style: Poison Ivy]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary one handed seals or channeling chakra while they are gripping a Jishu seed, the Naegi will focus chakra into said said and throw it at an enemy. Upon activation, the seed will violently expand with a Speed of 10 before bursting as sprawling poison ivy vines spread out like a web that is 7 meters in diameter, attempting to ensnare whatever they are aimed at with a Strength of 10. Upon contact will skin, the victim will come in contact with the plants urushiol oil excretions that immediately cause a severe reaction within their skin that results in a rash. Should Katon be used against this technique, the urushiol oil will become an visibly airborne cloud for 3 posts that will cause the same symptoms within the lungs of whoever breathes in this cloud. After 4 posts, this plant will wither and die as the urushiol oil on the plant dries up. The resulting rash will fade away after 5 posts after last contact with urushiol oil.

~[Flourish Style: Seed Bomb]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing a series of one hand seals or channeling chakra while holding a dead seed, the Naegi will proceed to throw it at their opponent or an obstacle blocking their path. Upon impacting into something within 10 meters of where it was thrown from, the seed will detonate with the C rank force.

C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prequisite: Requires Iijutsu Concentration
After performing the necessary hand seals or channeling chakra, the Naegi will focus chakra into a Jishu seed and activate it. Upon being planted, the seed will grow into an Aloe Vera plant that can be picked for use in healing burns. By utilizing their Iijutsu knowledge when focusing chakra into the seed, they are able to enhance the soothing properties of the plant to make it heal up to 2nd degree burns within 2 posts of being applied as it soothes the pain and slowly heals the burn. After being created, this plant will remain on hand for a total of 5 posts.

Kūgāpou Taijutsu:
This taijutsu style is all about avoidance, with grace. In this style the user may slap away blades, thrown weapons, and other objects, all in the interests of preserving one's self. However this style isn't necessarily about avoiding all damage, so much as avoiding the worst damage. In instances where the user is going against an opponent they can't match, they may use this style to avoid fatal injuries to receive instead less serious injuries and live to fight a bit longer, or even another day. It is understood for all Kūgāpou Taijutsu that these techniques require the user's taijutsu stat to exceed the target's. Required Concentrations: Deft Hands, Perception

*Kūgāpou • Soft Paws
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Soft Paws is a bare-handed deflection technique and is used against bladed weapons. At this level the user is able to read the angles of the attacks to use the flat of their hand against the flat of the blade and push it away without getting cut by the weapon. However prolonged use will end in the user gaining several bruises from their actions.

*Kūgāpou • Soft Elbow
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Requirement: *Kūgāpou • Soft Paws
After using Soft Paws to slap a blade away, the user will continue moving forwards while jutting out their elbow. The momentum from the target's original attack that was slapped away coupled with the sudden defenselessness of the target after having their attack deflected makes for a powerful counter-attack. The elbow can be aimed anywhere on the torso and above, but is usually aimed at the target's face.

*Kūgāpou • Down Paw
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Whenever a bladed weapon is coming towards the user, they can slam their palm against the top of the blade, pushing it downwards. This would either cause the sword to miss, or if their strength difference is enough, could force the sword into the ground. This technique, of course, only works on blades that aren't double-edged.
