General Information

Physical Features: Leimine strikes a stunning contrast from most of her family, having lighter skin and stunning red hair. Still her skin boast a healthy tan from constantly training in the sun and her hair is so bright and vibrant from the sun exposure. Her hair is fairly long on the top, her bangs able to reach past her chin. The sides however, are kept short to stave off the desert heat. A young woman in her prime her body has well developed muscles that could put a few men in the village to shame. In spite of her incredibly active routine, her body still boast the desirous curves and softness in the right places that draws the eye of men, though heavens help anyone she catches staring. Her eyes are perhaps the most unique aspect about her, one eye is a golden yellow hazel while the other is a deep indigo violet, the result of Azir's possession. Mimi has a handful of small minor scars on her hands and forearms from trying to learn to cook... A task she still struggles with.

Clothing/Accessories: Her attire is planned around practicality, designed around staying cool in the desert heat. A weathered white cloak is worn with white undergarments and wraps beneath. She wears light armor in the form of a leather halter top, a bracer on her left arm and a pauldron on her left shoulder. She rounds out her simple ensamble with a pair of leather boots and a leather belt that has two sheaths for her daggers. The leather belt has her headband anchored to it rather than wearing it on her head.
Personality: While she was brash and loud when she was younger, her personality has become more withdrawn over the years. While still quick to jump into action, she tends to not speak unless she needs to or is spoken to first. Despite this when she does talk, she speaks with a loud authoritative voice despite her low rank as if daring someone to ignore her words. Having heard the whispers and lies of her spirit twin for a number of years now, she finds it hard to open up and trust others. Despite this, her greatest fear is to live her life alone unloved and unwanted, to fade away beneath the sands of time as if she never existed. She hopes to one day be a mother and possibly raise a family... If she can find a man worthy enough of her that is.

This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. This creates incredibly potent defenses, making doton a popular affinity among defensive fighters.

This means if someone punched a 20 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 10 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.

Sand, however, is rough, and grinds in it's movement, eroding and tearing at anything it comes in contact with. This makes Sand an aggressive element that adds to it's strength when coming in contact with solid matter by breaking it down and adding it to it's mass. When Sand breaks through anything it is strong against, it adds 1/5th of the strength of that thing to it's own strength. A 30 strength Sand Wave breaking through a 10 strength Doton wall would add 2 strength to itself, having 32 strength. Against organic matter, Sand grinds against skin and wounds, catching micro tears that can become irritating and worsen existing wounds. Below is a list for how Sand interacts with solid matter

This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

After performing the required hand seals the user releases a blast of their chakra into the surrounding area with a mild shockwave with [Control] speed and strength. Any elemental jutsu used within said space has its elemental strength and weakness reversed for the duration it is inside the trick room zone unless already influenced by the Souseiji spirit energy. The space last a number of post equal to the user's chakra pool stat.

Using a moment to synchronize with their twin, the Souseiji joins with their twin spirit and molds their chakra into a projection that resembles the upper body of their spirit that is four times as large as the user. This projection follows the movements of the practitioner. So long as the practitioner remains in this Stance, they can constantly emit chakra to maintain and repair this chakra projection. If the practitioner attacks with this projection, the attack moves at a Speed equal to their Speed and a Strength of [Control]. Nintaijutsu maneuvers in the Tsuin no Kage style executed while in this Stance are granted a Strength value of [Control]. The practitioner can exit this Stance reflexively to conserve chakra. Due to the chakra intensive nature of this Stance, this technique drains 1 Chakra Pool stat every five posts in addition to the chakra costs of other techniques the practitioner uses, regardless of whether they attack with the chakra projection or not.

Just a babe when her family joined the village, Leimine has no memories of the clan's history outside of the village. Her bright red hair made her a target of bullying as a child. However, rather than cower and let it get to her she became loud and rebellious. She fought back against her oppressors and became a little hellion terrorizing the boys and protecting the girls. Her strong wild behavior was only encouraged by her older brothers who would wrestle and spar with her. Her father especially encouraged the behavior wanting her to grow into a strong member of the village and maybe even a shinobi.

Before she entered the academy she was entrusted with the spirit Azir, her right eye forever losing its golden radiance to be replaced by a cold almost sinister indigo. It was at that point slowly but surely she began to change. Azir was no good natured soul and slowly destroyed her good natured innocence with his whispers and lies. This... This was a new type of adversary... One that her fist couldn't deal with. She became somewhat withdrawn no longer taking the initiative to start conversations if she could avoid it. Instead of focusing on socializing like she might've in the past, she spent more time training, trying to get strong enough to give Azir a proper pounding so he'd quit running his mouth.

She easily mastered the basics of her family's techniques and once she was strong enough, she summoned Azir and faced him herself. Putting him in his place she could finally relax a little, a small amount of the life and vibrance she'd once had returning to her. However, her lost innocence couldn't be retrieved. She'd already grown a bit colder and a number of people found her to be intimidating as a result.

Shortly after the Academy's final exam it was time for the trial. The Souseiji's last right of passage for all of their younger generation even those that weren't becoming shinobi had to go through it at a certain age. Her mother had got her a white cloak to help keep her from overheating and protect her from the sandy winds of the desert plains. Following her older brother's warnings she'd saved up her allowance prior to embarking on the trial. This way she had some starting funds when she set out and wouldnt have to forage quite as much. With nothing more than a map she set out for the first oasis.

Mimi's biggest obstacle during this trial wasn't the scorching heat of the overbearing sun nor scarcity of water. She'd been trained prior by her family how to overcome such common obstacles of desert life well before her trial had even been mentioned to her. No the biggest onstacle was the voice in her mind that was always putting her down.

When she was alone with no one able to help or support her, Azir's vicious mouth struck again. However, he was sneakier this time and wouldn't out right say anything directly. No he'd just leave a few open ended comments here and there, snide remarks that made her question herself without her realizing it. However, her will and determination were not to be underestimated. She once more trained herself, body and mind, relying on the strength of her muscles and the knowledge of the land to continuously disprove all of her doubts.

When she returned she was received with a heros welcome. Her family had prepared a celebration in honor of her success. However, those lonely nights in the desert alone with Azir had taken their toll. Despite the warm reception, she returned their warmth with a cold shoulder, no longer able to open up and rely on others, the only thing she felt she could trust was herself... And Azir's desire to not die. As much as he tormented her she believed it was due to his anger at what he'd lost by being sealed away.

She did her best to untie the knots in her heart as well as those within Azir. The closer they were the better their synchronization and the better their team work would be. As fortune would have it the world went to war. Her strengths and tactics of battle rapidly improved and underwent a dramatic rate of growth. Four years of combat and she's become a young woman trying to make her own way.

During her first chuunin exam, Mimi performed well during her first round against a genin from konoha. However during her second round and the exposition match she found herself a run of bad luck getting hit in the head with debris from battle knocking her out. The first time simply knocked her unconscious. The second due to her recent head injury had put her into a 3 year coma.

Upon awaking her body's muscles had atrophied from lack of use. She spent the next two years in recovery unable to return to the fighting force as she regained her strength. Not one to lay idle however she put all her effort to build herself back up to rejoin the fighting force. Her recovery went well and she found herself even stronger than before. Now she aims to retake the chuunin exams and wash away her shame.

Azir The Desert Assassin
The Desert Assassin
An ancient spirit that once was a killer for hire. By burning an offering with the name of those you want dead, a deal would be struck. He made his living in this manner for ages, exchanging payment for lives, treating his targets like lambs for the slaughter. He'd spend his coin on the vices of men: good food, the company of fine women, and luxuries such as alcohol and drugs. After making an attempt on the life of a king of a once mighty nation, he'd been imprisoned, locked within an ancient crypt to act as its guard in punishment of his crimes. After being freed he swore his life to the spirit clan that saved him, unable to free himself of the life debt he owed. However, not long after swearing allegiance, the spirit clan he swore himself to fell under siege by a foreign nation. With the clan he'd devoted himself to on the verge of extinction they fled to the mortal realms to hide and recover their strength and so he joined them in their retreat. Although distrustful of the alien life forms known as humans he followed the orders of the clan leader allowing himself to be sealed within his most recent host, Leimine. The sealing harmed his vitality weakening him from his former glory; a fact he is quite resentful of despite his loyalty to the spirit clan.

Physical Features: With grey papery skin that's tight and taunt like the mummified appearance reminisce of a preserved corpse, his presence can be somewhat haunting and hard to grow accustomed to. His overall body shape is humanoid, being bipedal with a head narrower than his shoulders. Unlike a human however, Azir has four arms instead of two giving him a total of six limbs like an insect. His face has a humanoid structure but lacks the extra cartilaginous structures of a human face such as ears or a nose. His eyes though sunken into his face are a majestic indigo purple that are filled with an arrogance and disdain of others. His body itself is completely lacking in hair though on his chin he does have two bony protrusion.
Clothing/Accessories: Originally hailing from a desert oasis in his home world, between dealing with the environment and his profession as an assassin Azir had learned to prioritize functionality over appearance his clothing itself rather drab and plain. Plum wraps covered by a sandy outer cloak. However, vanity is one of Azir's many vices and he does adorn his body with jewelry, bands and rings of gold as well as a circlet with a violet gem that matches his eyes.
Personality: Suspicious and malicious Azir is wary of most others, life generally being a question of who will stab who in the back first. He is mischievous and often spreads lies and rumors just to watch the chaos unfold. He does however have a strange twisted sense of honor, holding life debts to be a very serious thing. He lives mostly for his own enjoyment, no major aspirations to speak of simply desiring enough coin to indulge in the pleasures of life. He fears being unable to return to his old life and never being released from his life debt outside of dying. As for combat, he prefers to lay traps and use stealth rather than a frontal assault. Often engaging in genjutsu to hide his presence then taking out his target with a dagger to their vitals.
Influences: One of the host's eyes have turned purple. The host always smells of sand and the stale, cold scent of an ancient tomb.
Longterm Drawbacks: The host becomes suspicious of those around her as the spirit feeds her lies and half truths. In turn the host self-isolates and starts to push people away.

Due to the unique blood contract binding the host and the spirit, members of the Souseiji Family are kyokishi, host to a summonable spirit that's possessing them. The spirit grants them Spirit Energy and is utilized in the family's unique jutsu while in a possessing state. As a kyokishi the Souseiji is subject to the tenkujutsu rules. When desummoned the spirit returns to a possessive state residing within their host.
Spirit Energy::
Being a creature from another plane their energy utilized is inherently different than that of its host, and the blending of the two through their symbiotic relationship has a wondrous effect. The energy originally utilized by the spirit is known as Spirit Energy, though both the host and the spirit now have a blended energy mix. Merging spirit energy with chakra through the Souseiji's chakra network causes jutsu with elemental aspects to react reverse of the natural laws switching their strengths and weaknesses. So, for example, in a case of D-rank katon vs D rank suiton. Instead, of suiton trumping the Souseiji's katon jutsu, the Souseiji's katon jutsu is treated as if it had an elemental advantage instead. All elements the Souseiji Family member and the spirit has maintain their normal passives.

After performing the hand seals and pricking the opponent with some sort of small weapon (usually senbon), the opponent feels their arms and legs fall asleep. It feels as if the blood flow to these appendages has basically stopped, making their movements a tad sluggish and just all around uncomfortable. This jutsu doesn’t really hinder a person, but it makes everything they do feel off. For those who are attuned to the way their body feels during battle, it can be extremely distracting. Sand Veil
D-Rank Illusion Genjutsu
After performing the required seals the user will release a handful of sand. Those that see the sand spill from the user's hand will be caught in the genjutsu. The target will have their vision clouded as if they're in a sandstorm, sand blowing around them overlaying what they see. Last 3 post.
