Physical Features:
Ayako is a tall young woman with softly tanned skin and straight, chest-length hair. Her Hizashi blood runs strong, lending a garnet pigment to both hair and eyes. She has a toned, slender frame that is moderately well muscled and is yet unscarred from the rigours of ninja life. With a narrow, symmetrical face, button nose, soft lips and expressive eyes she is undoubtedly beautiful--so long as one can see past her perpetual frown.
Ayako doesn't care much for current fashion and instead keeps her wardrobe more or less in line with the clan's traditional blacks, reds, and yellows. Her typical outfit includes sturdy black boots and trousers, a close-fitting top and shawl, to which she adds her ninja pouches and holsters to the belt and legs. She wears a little makeup when practical, including lipstick to match her hair and eyes, and likes the way the clan blacks and reds accentuate her hair. She enjoys accessorising with necklaces and earrings when off-duty, and wears her forehead protector around her waist as an off-centre belt buckle.
Personality:
On first meeting, Ayako often comes across as a terse and unsympathetic woman who places importance in strength and ability first, though what inspires her most is passion. Once she forms a bond with someone, her trust is unbreakable, and to those people she can be affectionate and caring to the last. She is not particularly outgoing, preferring quality over quantity in company, and has little patience for time-wasters and arrogant blowhards. It is her hope to continually exceed expectations and become a great ninja, protecting her family, clan, and home, and wishes to see her older brother Junpei excel. While she tries to be independant, she has throughout her life developed a very close connection with Junpei and cares for him deeply, relying on him more often than she'd like to keep her on the right path. However, she worries that he devotes too much attention to her, and not to his own life, and that she may be holding him back from excelling in his own right.

Hizashi Ayako is the youngest of two siblings and grew up under the protective watch of her loving older brother, Junpei. In their youth until beginning their ninja training the two were never seen away from one another's side; and even through their academy years and as genin they spend a great deal of time together. Junpei is her best friend and most trusted ally in addition to a brother.
During the academy Ayako performed well, no doubt due to additional tutoring from her sibling, and showed a remarkable talent for genjutsu above all. She graduated among the top students of her year and has since devoted much of her free time to training and running whatever missions she can get.

Ayako is a tactful combatant who prefers to keep opponents at a distance, combining disorientating genjutsu and far-reaching ninjutsu to overwhelm an opponent and control a battlefield before they can threaten her. Although not afraid of taijutsu, she's keenly aware that it is not where her true abilities lie. As she grows and learns to fight alongside her fellow ninja, her appreciation of supporting ninjutsu is increasing.

| Ninjutsu | KatonShow Katon Affinity A character with this concentration is able to utilize Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Katon affinity. Katon has a passive ignition effect. Passive (Ignition)Show Katon's effect is ignition, which means that all katon jutsu, regardless of effect, start and spread fire from their source. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own. Additionally, the strength of burns on organic material from katon jutsu is determined by the strength stat of the individual jutsu.

The behavior of the heated vs. cold hair causes a Mirage field where everything's appearance is slightly distorted, leaving them unable to properly gauge distances or the size of people and objects unless they have a perception technique of the appropriate rank, this technique lasting for the next seven posts.

Anyone who sees the attack coming towards them will become caught in the illusion and witness all of the users attacks divide into 3 identical copies, as if the user is attacking thrice. Each attack comes from slightly different angles or with slightly different timing, making it difficult to determine which is the real one. The illusions have no substance and will pass through any physical barrier or target without effect before disappearing harmlessly. This technique lasts for three posts.
