  • Face/head: Zhizi has a clear complexion and, unlike most inhabitants of Sunagakure, he has an alabaster skin tone. His eyes are a simple Onyx black, as is his silk-like hair. His hair is long enough to reach his waist, however, it is almost always kept in a high ponytail.
  • Body: Zhizi has a lithe, athletic build and is often mistaken for a girl from behind due to his slightly larger-than-average hips. His body is covered in the typical scarring from practicing with a sword and other bladed weaponry. However, he has no significant scarring outside of what was previously mentioned.
  • Notable Features: N/A
Clothing/Accessories: Zhizi wears traditional Daoist priest robes with amethyst designs, along with amethyst-colored forearm and shin guards.

  • General: Zhizi is a very studious child, and loves to better himself. While competitive by nature, he does not gloat when victorious, nor does he sulk when defeated. He is constantly striving to master his craft and believes that one can only attain true mastery when they limit themselves rather than studying everything that they can. He helps others when he can, but also believes that others should help themselves before asking for help.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Zhizi strives to live up to the inheritance of Xiao Li, a senior of the village and Tenkujutsu specialist. He hopes to one day live up to the legacy that he was given, and to even surpass it. However, he also hopes to be the greatest swordsman to have ever lived.
  • Fears: While he hopes to live up to the legacy that he was given by the higher-ups of the village, Zhizi fears that he may not be good enough. His greatest fear is that the village will see him perform poorly and give the legacy to another.
  • Combat Mentality: Zhizi would love to claim that he is merciless in battle, that he could kill another person without blinking an eye, however, he has never been in a true fight to the death and is scared to death. While scared to die, he is unafraid of pain due to years of training with the sword and suffering from accidental wounds. Currently he prefers to disable his human opponents rather than kill them, but has no qualms about killing animal companions.

Strapped On To Zhizi's Back
Held on to Zhizi's back by a sand-colored silken sash is a scroll that is foot feet wide and twenty feet long. This scroll currently holds Xiao Li's puppets known as Spike and Tyrant within it. This scroll also contains detailed diagrams of all of Xiao Li's custom jutsu so that other's may learn them.

Carved from the remnant pieces of Xiao Li's Spike puppet, Zhi's mask holds the sealed heat spirit that once gave Spike his Tsukimogami abilities which are listed below.

Mirage Field
After enough chakra is channeled into Mirage, the mask releases Kaenton into a 25-meter radius around them, causing heat to disperse in the air within that area. This heat will cause a minor increase of up to 15 degrees Celsius, but its real strength is in the way the hot air behaves. The behavior of the heated vs. cold hair causes a Mirage field where everything's appearance is slightly distorted. Unless the individual has a Taijutsu and Instinct stat average higher than 25, they will find it impossible to gauge distances correctly. Additionally, objects and people will all appear larger than they actually are. Mirage protects its wearer from the effects of using this technique, however, in order to use this technique a constant supply of chakra is required. This technique may be maintained up to stamina/3 before needing to be re-cast.

Desert Aura
After enough chakra is channeled into Mirage, the wearer of Mirage can increase the temperature of the air around them. This creates a 30-meter diameter area of intense heat centered on Mirage for the following Seven posts. Anybody within the area will feel an intense heat that will drain 4 stamina every 2 posts. The wearer of Mirage is protected from this effect, however, a constant supply of chakra is required to keep the aura active. The heat aura created through this technique travels away from Mirage at a speed of 20. This technique may be maintained up to Chakra Pool/2 up to seven posts before needing to be re-cast.

SandstormShow
Zhzi carries Sandstorm, one of his primary Tsukimogami, strapped to the back of his waist with the hilt of Sandstorm sticking out past his right hip. Sandstorm is a katana that has a simple sand color cord wrapped around the hilt, a gold-plated pommel and guard, and a sheath made of stained redwood. The blade of Sandstorm is twenty-six inches in length while the hilt of Sandstorm is eight inches in length. The two abilities of this Sandstorm cannot be used in conjunction.

When Zhizi channels an A-rank amount of chakra into Sandstorm, he is able to generate an A-rank strength sandstorm and is able to move within the sandstorm unaffected. The circumference of the sandstorm is forty meters and takes the shape of a sphere. While he moves within the sandstorm, Zhizi is able to feel the location of every chakra source within the sandstorm, though he is not able to tell the difference between a friend, or foe. The sandstorm spins at a speed of 25 with a strength of 25.

When Zhizi channels a B-rank amount of chakra into Sandstorm, he is able to expel a large amount of sand from the blade. This will then expand towards a target area in the form of a wave, covering and crushing them in an ocean of sand. This travels with 20 speed, traveling a grand total of 30 meters. This wave is 15 meters tall, 20 meters wide, and 10 meters thick, and impacts with a strength of 20, washing over its enemies and crushing them beneath the sand.
Passive (Grinding)Show
Sand, however, is rough, and grinds in it's movement, eroding and tearing at anything it comes in contact with. This makes Sand an aggressive element that adds to it's strength when coming in contact with solid matter by breaking it down and adding it to it's mass. When Sand breaks through anything it is strong against, it adds 1/5th of the strength of that thing to it's own strength. A 30 strength Sand Wave breaking through a 10 strength Doton wall would add 2 strength to itself, having 32 strength. Against organic matter, Sand grinds against skin and wounds, catching microtears that can become irritating and worsen existing wounds. Below is a list for how Sand interacts with solid matter

Triceratops Puppet "Spike"
Velociraptor Puppet "Tyrant"
Spike was Xiao Li's oldest, and favorite, puppet out of his two dinosaur-themed puppets. Once modeled after an Ankylosaurus, since being nearly completely destroyed, Spike has been rebuilt to resemble that of a Triceratops, though he more resembles a combination of the two dinosaurs. Spike now stands eighteen feet tall at his shoulder, he is nine feet wide, twelve feet long, and has a nine-foot-long Ankylosaurus hammer tail. While he once was made solely of wooden parts, Spike is now made fully of steel parts, with everything made to work together like a well-oiled machine. Tyrant, like Spike, is a puppet that Xiao Li designed to resemble one of Xiao Li's favorite dinosaurs, which, in Tyrant's case, was the Velociraptor. Tyrant has, like Spike, been recently rebuilt from the ground up, with all of his wooden parts being replaced with steel ones. Tyrant now stands twelve feet tall at his shoulders, and from his snout to the tip of the spearhead blade on his tail he is twenty-two feet long.

Hammer Tail: The end of Spike's tail is a twenty-pound steel hammer.
Body Spikes: Covering Spike’s body are three-foot thick, razor-sharp, pyramid spikes.
Shield: Spike’s backplate is able to lift up via a hydraulic shaft in order to act as a shield.
Barrier: Spike is able to produce a barrier that extends out from him at a five-meter radius. The barrier forms at a speed of twenty and has a strength of twenty. It stands ten meters tall.
Gatling Gun: Inside of Spike’s mouth is a Senbon Gatling gun that holds two hundred senbon. This Gatling gun fires with a speed and strength equal to Spike's Deftness stat.
Prisoner Lockup: Inside of Spike is an eight-foot long, four-foot tall, steel bar cage that is meant to hold prisoners. Though Li often uses it as a portable bed.
Stasis Capsule: Inside of Spike’s tail is a two-foot-long steel capsule that has been treated with chakra to house spirits with the Temporary Housing seal.
Mechanisms:

Gatling Gun: Housed in Tyrant's mouth is a Gatlinggatling gun that holds two hundred senbon. The senbon fire with a speed, and strength equal to Tyrant's Deftness.
Retractable Arms: Tyrant’s arms are able to be fired off in an attempt to grab hold of a target. The arms are then retracted by a wench with a strength equal to Tyrant's.
Weaponized Tail: Tyrant’s seven-foot-long tail is capable of moving in any direction and has a three-foot-long spearhead at the tip. This spear head is attached to a forty-foot chain that is stored inside of Tyrant's body. The spearhead fires at a strength equal to Tyrant's, and the chain retracts at a speed equal to Tyrant's.
Sickle Claws: Modeled after the velociraptor's infamous claws, Tyrant has two crescent moon sickle blade "claws" on his feet. These sickles not only move up, and down, as Li wishes, but they can also be fired off at a strength equal to Tyrant's.
Feather Blades: Tyrant's body was once covered in feather-like blades, however, upon being rebuilt, the blades are hidden in slits on Tyrant's body that allow for the blades to be fired off. These feather-like blades are flat, two inches wide, and four inches long. Each blade can be fired off individually, or at the same time. These blades fire off at a strength equal to Tyrant's.
Wind Turbines: In Tyrant's feet, just behind his claws, are tiny wind turbines. When Xiao Li channels a C-rank amount of chakra into the turbines, Tyrant's Mobility stat will increase by six, while his deftness stat drops by six. This boost lasts for eight posts unless canceled.
Nostril Flamethrowers: Inside of Tyrant's snout are two tiny flamethrowers. When Xiao Li channels a B-rank amount of chakra into the flamethrowers they will activate. A B-rank jet of flame is created that extends five meters. This jet of flame can be maintained for three posts unless canceled. The jet of flame travels at a speed of twenty and has a strength of twenty.

Katon's effect is ignition, which means that all katon jutsu, regardless of effect, start and spread fire from their source. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own.

The most iconic (and most basic) strike of Iaido, the practitioner quickly draws and cuts with their blade in a wide arc in one fluid motion. This simultaneous draw and attack straight from the scabbard makes Iaido well-suited for an initial surprise attack and for taking advantage of openings presented by the opponent.

A simple yet potent defense, especially against other weapons users, the practitioner partially draws the sword from its scabbard and blocks incoming attacks with the back of their blade. This technique is ineffective against opponents with higher Strength than the practitioner's Strength.

A defensive technique particularly useful when an opponent is close to the practitioner or is clinching them in a grapple, the practitioner grabs the hilt of their sword with a reverse grip and rams the butt or pommel of the hilt into the opponent's body, pushing the opponent back a number of meters equal to the difference between their Strength scores. Conversely, against opponents with higher Strength than their own, the practitioner can use this technique to push themselves back a number of meters equal to their own Strength score. The speed and simplicity of the attack can push opponents away and give the practitioner the needed space to set up additional attacks.

Burning Chains Alpha

Burning Chains Alpha is a unique Fuuinjutsu developed by Xiao Li. Once the seal is activated, whether through air sealing, or the use of a pre-drawn tag, four chains made of fire will erupt from the seal, and attempt to lock the target in place. These chains extend up to six meters at a speed equal with the user's [Control] and hold the target in place with a strength equal with the user's [Control.] These chains are capable of causing first degree burns.

Barrier Alpha
D-Rank Charge Fuuinjutsu
Barrier Alpha is a unique Fuuinjutsu developed by Xiao Li. Once the seal is activated, whether through air sealing, or the use of a pre-drawn tag, a two-meter tall, by three-meter wide, bright blue barrier will form at a speed equal with the user's [Control.] The barrier has a strength equal to the user's [Control,] and will dissipate after three posts unless destroyed. The barrier forms up to four feet in front of the user.

Blazing Shuriken Alpha
D-Rank Charge Fuuinjutsu
Blazing Shuriken Alpha is a unique Fuuinjutsu developed by Xiao Li. Once the seal is activated, whether through air sealing, or the use of a pre-drawn tag, three shuriken made of fire will launch in a straight line in front of the user. The shuriken fly with a speed equal to the user's [Control], and hit with a strength equal to the user's [Control]. These shuriken are capable of causing first degree burns.

Smoke Screen
D-Rank Charge Fuuinjutsu
Smoke Screen is a unique Fuuinjutsu developed by Xiao Li. Once the seal is activated, whether through air sealing, or the use of a pre-drawn tag, a cloud of smoke created. The smoke covers a 20x20x20m area. The smoke limits the visibility of those inside to 4 meters in any direction and causes coughing and mild irritation to the eyes of those within.

After performing the correct hand seals the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling out a 1 foot diameter fireball at the opponent. It travels up to 10 meters away at [Control] speed and strength.

Zhizi has always been a good child and has always strived to be the best he could be in everything he did. While he was in the academy he excelled in his Taijutsu classes, however, that is not to say that he was bad in any of his classes. While he was above average in all of his studies, he did not show any pronounced skill in one field. He was always more of a jack of trades student. Being fairly good at everything quickly led Zhizi to become lost in his training as a ninja until his uncle suggested that he train in kenjutsu, that way, should his chakra reserves ever run low, he would have something to rely on. Zhizi quickly fell in love with his sword training and became obsessed. The more he practiced the more he loved it. It was not until he had graduated the academy that Zhizi's life changed. He had been chosen to accept the legacy of a deceased Jounin who specialized in Tenkujutsu. After being selected for the legacy, Zhizi did everything he could to learn about the man known as Xiao Li and even began introducing himself using the man's surname as a sign of respect. While still unable to use Tenkujutsu, Zhizi is constantly training and studying until the day comes that he can live up to the legacy that he was given.

His long, obsidian hair cascades down to his shoulders, framing his face in a shroud of midnight silk. Bright emerald eyes peer out from beneath the eaves of his hair, offering a glimpse into the depths of his soul. His complexion, kissed by the sun from his constant outdoor pursuits, carries a warm tan that harmonizes with his rugged, warrior's spirit. Intriguingly, Feng's physique defies expectations for someone of his martial rank. His muscles, though not prominently defined, embody a balance between strength and agility. He consciously eschews the bulk often associated with warriors, instead opting for a sleek, slender build that enhances his fluidity in combat.

Feng's choice of attire further reflects his distinctive style. He dons flowing, black Hakama pants, cinched at the waist with a vibrant crimson cord that performs a dual role by securing two black pouches to his side. His feet are ensconced in unique two-toed, ebony Tabi boots, a choice that ensures maximum agility while retaining a sense of tradition. On his upper body, Feng wears a snug, almost second-skin-like, long-sleeved black shirt. The fabric contours his form, accentuating the lithe grace underlying his martial prowess. This fervor extends not only to his relentless training but also to the visceral world of combat. To some, he may come across as a "hot head" due to the intensity with which he approaches every challenge. The blade of Sandstorm is twenty-six inches in length while the hilt of Sandstorm is eight inches in length. The two abilities of this Sandstorm cannot be used in conjunction.

When Feng channels an A-rank amount of chakra into Sandstorm, he is able to generate an A-rank strength sandstorm and is able to move within the sandstorm unaffected. The circumference of the sandstorm is forty meters and takes the shape of a sphere. While he moves within the sandstorm, Feng is able to feel the location of every chakra source within the sandstorm, though he is not able to tell the difference between a friend, or foe. The sandstorm spins at a speed of 25 with a strength of 25.

When Feng channels a B-rank amount of chakra into Sandstorm, he is able to expel a large amount of sand from the blade. This will then expand towards a target area in the form of a wave, covering and crushing them in an ocean of sand. This travels with 20 speed, traveling a grand total of 30 meters. This wave is 15 meters tall, 20 meters wide, and 10 meters thick, and impacts with a strength of 20, washing over its enemies and crushing them beneath the sand.
Passive (Grinding)Show
Sand, however, is rough, and grinds in it's movement, eroding and tearing at anything it comes in contact with. This makes Sand an aggressive element that adds to it's strength when coming in contact with solid matter by breaking it down and adding it to it's mass. When Sand breaks through anything it is strong against, it adds 1/5th of the strength of that thing to it's own strength. A 30 strength Sand Wave breaking through a 10 strength Doton wall would add 2 strength to itself, having 32 strength. Against organic matter, Sand grinds against skin and wounds, catching microtears that can become irritating and worsen existing wounds. Below is a list for how Sand interacts with solid matter

Fuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/2 the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 20 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 10 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.

Doton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the doton affinity. Doton has a passive enduring effect.
Passive (Enduring)Show
Doton has a passive effect of Endurance, which means that it's power is retained throughout the entirety of the jutsu. All of a single doton jutsu retains the strength of the jutsu, even after the jutsu has been destroyed, and unlike other jutsu, doton does not fade when destroyed. This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. This creates incredibly potent defenses, making doton a popular affinity among defensive fighters.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Sand, an extension composed of Fuuton and Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require Sand. Sand style has a grinding effect. You must be a current or former Sunagakure shinobi, and have both Fuuton and Doton to utilize this concentration.

Utilizing this maneuver, the user is able to quickly draw a kunai from its holster. This is done by placing their finger through the lip of the holder and into the ring of the pommel, flicking it up and out quickly, having the kunai in the user’s hand within an instant.

A technique that specializes in fighting Samurai and equalizing the battle field. The user will wait for their target to attack, and will quickly counter this by sliding the blade of their kunai onto the opponent's blade. The user will quickly move in towards their opponent while also sliding their kunai closer and closer to the opponent's hilt. This will force the angle of their blade to be raised and leaves the opponent wide open for attack.

Prerequisite: 10 Speed
A technique that relies highly on speed, the user will attempt to slap away any incoming melee strikes or projectiles with their kunai. The average of the user's speed and strength needs to be higher than the strength the projectile was thrown at, using the momentum of their own speed to deflect the strike.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The hallmark of Iaido is its practitioners abilities to launch an attack even when their swords are sheathed. This Discipline represents the practitioner's capacity to consistently execute a sword draw and slash all in one movement by gripping the edge of the scabbard and pulling the scabbard slightly forward before drawing the sword. This Discipline enables the practitioner to immediately draw their sword and attack at the start of combat.

The most iconic (and most basic) strike of Iaido, the practitioner quickly draws and cuts with their blade in a wide arc in one fluid motion. This simultaneous draw and attack straight from the scabbard makes Iaido well-suited for an initial surprise attack and for taking advantage of openings presented by the opponent.

A defensive technique particularly useful when an opponent is close to the practitioner or is clinching them in a grapple, the practitioner grabs the hilt of their sword with a reverse grip and rams the butt or pommel of the hilt into the opponent's body, pushing the opponent back a number of meters equal to the difference between their Strength scores. Conversely, against opponents with higher Strength than their own, the practitioner can use this technique to push themselves back a number of meters equal to their own Strength score. The speed and simplicity of the attack can push opponents away and give the practitioner the needed space to set up additional attacks.

Prerequisite(s): 8 Speed.
A simple technique meant to cripple the target's vision, the practitioner draws the sword from its scabbard and aims a quick slash at the eyes. This technique can be done in any single direction to either target one or both of the opponent's eyes.

A simple yet potent defense, especially against other weapons users, the practitioner partially draws the sword from its scabbard and blocks incoming attacks with the back of their blade. This technique is ineffective against opponents with higher Strength than the practitioner's Strength.

Prerequisite(s): 15 Speed.
Drawing upon the superlative speed of Iaido, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their body to draw their sword from its scabbard and deliver a blindingly fast slash before sheathing their blade. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Otherwise, they cannot accurately read the attack and will be unlikely to completely avoid the attack, if at all.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
The user will place their middle finger through the pommel of the kunai, gripping it so the blade hangs out of the side of the palm, using the weapon as a knuckleduster. This will give the user +6 in strength, but will receive – 6 Speed, due to having to move more carefully as to not cut themselves with the blade being in such an awkward position.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
A simple, yet effective strike. Often used in correlation with Ochiba • Oaken Defense, however not required. The user simply needs to be up close, they will swing their kunai in a horizontal motion towards their opponent's rib cage, aiming for the intercostal space between the ribs and damaging any organ behind it. The user will then turn the kunai, breaking their opponents ribs.

B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user will begin by dashing around the opponent, so they are facing their back. They will then deliver a very fast slice from shoulder blade to shoulder blade, effectively making all arm movements intensely painful. While doing that, with their leg, the user will deliver a powerful kick aimed at the back of their knee. This is to get the opponent down to one knee. The target's strength must be 10 higher than the user's to resist the buckle. Once they are on their knee, the target will be open to a variety of attacks.

B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
When fighting a sword user, the user tries to bait the opponent into performing a slash with their weapon. Expecting it to come, the user will quickly block the strike with their kunai, stopping the momentum of the attack. The user will then open up their hand and allow the kunai to loosely hang on their finger. Then, the user will try to grab onto the wrist of the opponent and quickly pull them to the ground, and also kicking at the target's front foot, pushing it towards their back one, weakening their footing and making them easier to topple. While doing so, the user’s free hand will be placed on the opponent’s back, trying to aid in pushing the target to the ground or at least stagger them. While the opponent is falling forward or is staggered, the user will very quickly grab onto their kunai and thrust it forward into the opponent’s chest, usually the heart or lungs.

With the proper handseals performed, the user will gather a large amount of sand in their hands before throwing it outward as though it was a throwing weapon. The sand will launch forward with [Control] Speed and Strength, forming into a projectile as it flies up to 10m.

After forming the necessary handseals, the user will take a deep breath before expelling a strong breath full of sand. The sand will then move over an area 10 meters around the user, creating a cloud of sand that floats for 3 posts before settling. Standing within the cloud causes skin irritation and can make it hard to see.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the correct handseals, the user will gather sand around their hand requiring [Control] Strength to destroy. Anything they touch for the next 3 posts will have Sand's grinding effect applied to it, causing skin irritation and rashes to anyone they strike or grab.

D Rank Ninjutsu
After forming the necessary seals, the user will channel their chakra into a 1 meter diameter area of sand underneath a target's feet, within 10 meters of the user. From this area, a 5 meter tall, 1 meter diameter pillar of sand will suddenly burst from the ground at [Control] Speed, striking and launching the target into the air with [Control] Strength. Regardless of whether the target is launched or not, they will suffer minor cuts and scrapes with sand in them, causing further irritation and pain, along with bruising from the impact of the pillar.

*[Sneak Attack]
D Rank Ninjutsu
The user will channel for a brief moment, then throw their hand forward. From their hand a small burst of sand will form, swarming around anything directly in front of their hand. This is often used to blind and surprise opponents to make a quick escape.

*[Desert Giant Spear]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
With the correct seals done, the user will hold their hand , forming sand into a sort of spear shaped projectile that is 3 meters long from their palm. This spear hovers beside the user before they form an extra handseal to launch it at their enemy, flying at [Control] Speed and Strength. It can cause deep slashes and pierce deep into an enemy, leaving sand in the wounds to cause further irritation and pain. This can travel up to 25 meters and lasts for three posts, or until it is used.

*[Sand Clone]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will create a clone out of Sand. This clone will have the users stats. It lasts for [Control/5] posts.

*[Desert’s Spire]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
After forming the necessary handseals, the user will channel chakra into the sand in a 2 meter area beneath an opponent’s feet within 25 meters of them. After a moment, the sand in this area will violently burst from the ground and form an 8 meter tall spike of sand at [Control] Speed. This spike is capable of piercing an opponent’s body with [Control] Strength and leaving sand in the wounds it creates, causing irritation and pain of the wound. After the spire is formed it remain for 3 posts before turning back into sand.

*[Sand Wave]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
With the correct hand seals formed, the user will thrust their hands up, causing a wave of sand to form in front of them. The wave shoots up and travels forward at [Control] speed, enveloping anything in its path with [Control] strength, and traveling up to 25m before collapsing. The wave is only 2x2m in size, working mostly as an impromptu defense to capture projectile attacks.

Prerequisite: *[Desert’s Spire]
After performing this technique’s prerequisite, the user can perform an additional set of hand seals and channel more chakra into the large spike of sand. In doing so, a plethora of smaller spikes will extend up to 10 meters in all directions at [Control] Speed and Strength. These spikes are just as sharp as the Desert’s Spire, capable of piercing an opponent and causing great irritation and pain to the wound by leaving sand in the wound. These spikes will last as long as the Desert Spire does, falling to normal sand along with the spire.

B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the needed handseals, the user will cause a small wave of sand to rise from the ground at their feet and roll towards the intended target with [Control] Speed up a total of 40 meters away. If the target doesn't avoid this jutsu they will be ensnared by sand that starts to wrap around their legs. The sand will then rise up to fully encase the target, holding the target in place for up to 3 posts unless they can break the sand with [Control] Strength or more. The entire time they're captured, the sand is grinding the target, causing extensive damage.

Feng's early life was a stark canvas painted with adversity and sorrow. At the tender age of four, the cruel hand of fate dealt him a devastating blow as his parents perished, casualties of their lives as dedicated shinobi. Bereft of immediate family, he found himself thrust into the unforgiving embrace of an orphanage. Life there held its own share of trials, with older children cruelly bullying the young boy. Consequently, Feng sought solace and escape in wandering the village's labyrinthine streets, left to his own devices for most of the day.

In his unguided wanderings, Feng's youthful desperation led him to pilfering, a path strewn with trouble and consequences. His incessant thievery caught the eye of an unexpected savior, Xiao Li. Li intervened during one fateful encounter when Feng attempted to snatch food and wine. Instead of reporting the theft, Li decided to pay for the stolen items, a simple act of kindness that would transform both their lives forever.

As they talked for hours, Li discovered a spark within Feng that ignited his decision to adopt the boy as a younger brother. Bestowing upon him the name Xiao Feng, Li enrolled him in the village's esteemed academy. Surprisingly, Feng struggled in Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, a perplexing contrast to his parents' abilities—a puppeteer and a long-range Ninjutsu and Genjutsu practitioner. Yet, a hidden talent emerged as Feng showcased a remarkable aptitude for Taijutsu, displaying the rare ability to effortlessly dual-wield weapons. Recognizing this potential, Xiao Li enlisted the expertise of a traveling swordsman, well-versed in the unique Ochiba style from the Land of Fire. The style focused on close combat with short swords and kunai, and Feng embraced it with unwavering dedication, channeling his passion into his training.

Simultaneously, Xiao Li ensured that Feng expanded his skill set by requiring him to study Iaido kenjutsu, imparting a versatile set of combat tools to his protege.

As Feng immersed himself in these rigorous martial pursuits, his academic progress waned. It was a challenge to balance the demands of rigorous training with his classroom responsibilities. However, Xiao Li's commitment to his brother's success was unwavering, providing him with essential tutoring to bridge the academic gap. While Feng struggled to harness the powers of Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, he retained a firm grasp of their theoretical foundations, nurturing a fervent desire to master them someday, just as he aimed to with his Kenjutsu.

Upon successfully passing his exit exams from the ninja academy, Feng graduated to the rank of Genin. He was paired with a Chuunin instructor specializing in Taijutsu, an ideal mentor to further refine his Kenjutsu skills. This transition marked a pivotal moment in his journey as he took full ownership of his training, no longer reliant on a master's constant guidance. The Chuunin instructor, unfamiliar with Taijutsu styles, directed his focus toward honing his physique, adopting healthy dietary habits, and preparing his body for rigorous training, areas previously overlooked.

Despite dedicated efforts, Feng's progress in Ninjutsu and Genjutsu remained stagnant. Xiao Li, recognizing that his younger brother's path might be better suited elsewhere, introduced him to a high-ranking samurai within the Daimyo's guard. After a rigorous assessment, Feng found himself apprenticed to this samurai, embarking on a new journey as a samurai disciple with the promise of one day joining the ranks of the Daimyo's official guard.

Leaving Xiao Feng in the care of his new mentor, Takashi, Xiao Li returned to the village with a heartfelt promise of dedication. Feng's samurai training was arduous and unrelenting, yet he persevered. Climbing through the ranks, he eventually became a low-ranking samurai but was entrusted with the command of his own troop of forty. Though his duties took him far and wide, Feng remained connected to his elder brother through written correspondence.

Life took a poignant turn when Xiao Qing, his sister-in-law, became pregnant. In the interest of her safety and the unborn child's well-being, Xiao Li made the agonizing decision to leave Xiao Feng behind to care for Xiao Qing while he embarked on a mission to Juu no Kuni. However, Xiao Li's return was never realized, and the village declared him deceased, plunging Feng into an abyss of despair. He was torn between his overwhelming desire to search for his brother and his responsibility toward the twins born from their union.

With a heavy heart, Feng chose to stay behind, committed to protecting and nurturing his niece and nephew. He lovingly raised them while also imparting the art of Iaido to his nephew, serving as a mentor and guide in their tumultuous journey through life. Now, in this new role, he stands as a protector, determined to guide the next generation along their own paths, honoring the legacy of his beloved elder brother.
