Hair: Ichiro’s hair is black and of medium length, falling to just above his shoulders. His bangs often fall down over his face, though usually he attempts to keep his hair combed back. Due to being at sea so often his hair is rather dense and often tangled, hanging about messily and smelling of salt and gunpowder.

Eyes: Ichiro is a man with distinct eyes, almost an eerie ice blue. His gaze is a determined one, filled with ambition and purpose. He does his best to banish emotions of weakness from portraying themselves in his eyes. Life on the road is a harsh one after all and confidence and power are far more important for survival. It should also be noted however that the man's eyes tend to gleam with intelligence, ever vigilant and watchful of his surroundings, analyzing situations, forming strategies, and constantly plotting.

Physical Features: Ichiro’s body has developed well, maintaining an athletic figure. He stretches regularly, maintaining his flexibility and speed. His muscles have some distinct definition to them from his days hiking across the continent, practicing kenjutsu, and hauling barrels. His stomach has notable definition, a sturdy core with lean abs, having spent many days swimming and working ropes and sails aboard various ships on the open sea. His skin is often marked with scuffs and small burns and scratches as well as a light tan, though often coated with some degree of dirt or sea salt depending on his most recent means of travel. The man's smile is kind and charming when applicable while his nose and jawline are well-proportioned and strong. Overall, he is a ruggedly handsome man capable of drawing some attention from women who like the dirtier and scruffy look. Though being slightly on the short side and of relatively average build he easily blends in with a crowd and only gives off a moderate impression of being able to handle himself in a fight.

Clothing/Accessories: Ichiro has a strong inclination towards the color of blue. He wears simple close-toed shoes with good tread, his pants are full length and made of cloth, varying from greys to blacks. He too wears a variety of undershirts, often covered by a navy-blue jacket or tunic. His final layer is a hooded black cloak meant to repel rain in particularly foul weather, which he often chooses to go without, in such cases he stores it in his leather satchel. Lastly, the man typically wears hardened and lacquered leather shin and arm guards. On the pointer finger of his right hand he wears a dark grey ring with the black etched and painted symbol of a snake pierced by an arrow, the mark of the intelligence-gathering organization Chishiki, founded by Hiraku Kenji.

Forehead Protector: Ichiro does not hail from a ninja village and therefore does not don a hitae-ate. He does however wear a blue cloth, with the symbol of the waterfall country sewn into it, tied to his right shoulder.

Personality: Ichiro is an enigmatic man. He is both extremely wary and distrusting of others and yet he longs to unite individuals to his cause. Often he will seem distant, ever vigilant and cautious though he has a noble heart within, he cares about people and is willing to lend a hand to save a life or help someone in need, though not blindly, he will always assess the risk with the reward.

An extremely cunning individual the man possesses natural machinations. Once the man has set his mind to something he will stop at nothing to achieve his goal, namely his dream of restoring the Waterfall country to prosperity and more specifically building a hidden village named Takigakure. Despite his usual caution this does cause him to at moments be afflicted by impulsiveness, particularly when pursuing a new Sensei to guide him. He is also, not by any means immune to fear or any of the usual emotions that a person may experience, he is comfortable in combat, especially alongside his crewmates though he does not actively seek nor enjoy killing. However, his insatiable drive for success allows him to persevere and make decisions for the greater good despite whatever hardship he may experience.

Often Ichiro worries; about his family back home, about the success of his plans, and whether or not he can achieve his goal, though this worry is far from being enough to actually dissuade him. In his mind his dream is achievable. He is not however naïve as he knows that much sacrifice and suffering will be required, affecting both his life and others. This is a price however that he is willing to pay. Being responsible for many deaths throughout the course of the war has hardened him and allowed him to easier cut his losses and abandon others, looking after himself first and foremost.

Lastly, Ichiro is highly ambitious, his morality able to waver to align with whoever is capable of helping him achieve his goals. He also has a tremendous fascination with the human body and wishes to learn advanced medical jutsu so he can further his studies in order to develop new kinds of abilities for his people, and ultimately to ensure strength and diversity among the members of the new village, as well as his countrymen as a whole. In this endeavor, he maintains the belief that the ends will justify the means.

Suiton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Suiton affinity. Suiton has a passive enveloping effect.
Passive (Enveloping)Show
Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.

Raiton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Raiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Raiton affinity. Raiton has a shocking effect.
Passive (Shocking)Show
Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

Additionally, the strength of the nervous effect on organic material from raiton jutsu is determined by the Strength stat range they fall into.

This concentration allows for the user to user chakra to affect the biological processes of a living creature. This includes modifying, speeding up, or slowing down the biological processes. Iijutsu is known for it's advanced nature and requires precise chakra control to work effectively. It can be differentiated from normal techniques by the faint light green colour of the chakra used in Iijutsu techniques.

After completing a set of handseals, the user forms a slight chakra 'body', thus creating a single, massless clone. The clone created from this technique is very basic and will dissipate when hit with anything. These clones do not possess vital signs or a unique chakra signature, meaning they don't disrupt the environment, and anything on their person is superficial. The clone has 1 in each stat. They are limited to basic movements.

E-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing the needed handseals, the user of this technique will be able to alter their physical appearance to match that of another person. By consistently emitting chakra throughout their body, the user is able to keep their appearance adjusted at the cost of their Chakra Pool draining over time. As this technique is quite strenuous to uphold, experienced shinobi may see more clearly through this delusive disguise. This technique lasts for a number of posts equal to that of the user's Chakra Pool.

A jutsu used with the purpose of activating seals and a range of devices and weapons, this technique begins with a single handseal. Once this has been performed, the user will focus a dollop of their chakra into what they are looking to activate in order to complete the task. Seals activated with this technique must be within 20 + (Control/2) meters of the user's position.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
By focusing chakra into his/her feet, the user is able to walk up trees and other vertical surfaces in a similar fashion to walking along the ground. This chakra amount must be precise, and although all shinobi learn this technique, the user's control stat will determine how well this jutsu can be executed. Users with low control 2 or lower will often fall during the use of this technique, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's Chakra Pool.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A variation of the Act of Tree Climbing technique, this jutsu requires the user to focus a precise and balanced amount of charka into the soles of his/her feet. By doing so, the user is able to walk on the surface of water as though it were a solid surface. Users with low control 2 or lower are much more likely to fall through the surface of the water, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's Chakra Pool.

A rather simple technique that allows the user to escape from a genjutsu. The stat requirements for this technique can be found in the genjutsu rules.

*[Basic Jutsu • Change of Body Stance Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing the necessary handseals, the user is able to quickly substitute his/her body with a nearby object that is at least 2/3rds his/her size, but no bigger than their body. This substitution allows the object to take the force of the attack that was meant for the user, additionally allowing the user to create distance between him/her and the opponent. The object used in this jutsu may not be objects that are imbued with chakra or controlled by it, and they may also only be single, solid objects within a 20 metre radius of the user. This technique may only be used a total of one time in a single thread, give or take how many times Shunshin no Jutsu has already been used.

*[Ninjutsu • Chakra Burst]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra into one of their fists, the user will then attempt to strike their target and if successful, they will release additional concussive force in the form of an outward explosion with [Control] Strength from their fist. If the user does not strike a target within 3 posts the jutsu dissipates.

[Ninjutsu • Shadow Clone Change of Body Stance]
C- Rank Ninjutsu
A technique devised to help deceive and manipulate situations to one’s advantage, this jutsu functions exactly like the basic Change of Body stance Technique. After channeling a bit of chakra through his body, the user will focus on the chakra within one of their shadow clones and instantly switch places with it in a poof of white smoke. This jutsu has a maximum range of 30 meters and counts toward the two allotted teleportation’s per thread.

C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user will focus chakra into a rope, wire, or a similar object in their possession. The object will then lash out at a target at [Control] Speed for up to 25 meters attempting to then coil around them and bind them. After coiling around the target, the chakra will cause the object to harden to [Control] Strength. After 4 posts the chakra will run out and the bind will break.

*[Ninjutsu • Barrier]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user forms a 5x5x5m barrier around a target up to 25m away from their position. The barrier forms at [Control] Speed, has [Control] Strength, and lasts 4 posts before fading away.

C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Despite requiring both hands and more time than *[Basic Jutsu • Chakra Kai], Multiple Chakra Kai allows the user to activate up to five objects simultaneously, up to 25 meters away.

[Ninjutsu • Advanced Object Transformation Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals, this variation of the transformation technique allows the user to transform any object within 10 meters of themselves into something no less than half its size and no more than double. If the object is imbued with foreign chakra, the user must have higher Control than the opposing chakra. Whatever is transformed will have physical substance and weight and is quite convincing in its appearance. For example, the user could transform a stick into a usable sword or a coin into a shuriken. However, this transformation will only last for 5 posts and any impact to the item itself greater than [Control] strength will undue it.

*[Ninjutsu • Advanced Transformation Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
An advanced form of the Transformation Technique, after performing the correct hand seals and holding the final one temporarily, the user will coat and mold chakra around their body into the shape and form of something or someone which is no more than twice their size. This technique's true advantage is that the disguise is given physical substance. This means, for example, if they transform into something with claws, they will have claws that can physically be used. For the disguises 5 post duration, if it is damaged by a hit of more than [Control] Strength, the disguise "poofs" from existence. This includes collateral damage caused by striking an opponent that may occur to the disguise.

B-Rank Ninjutsu
The user will channel chakra throughout his body before directing this chakra into a barrier within 40 meters of his position at a Speed of [Control]. Once the chakra reaches this barrier, the barrier will begin to glow with the added strength, increasing it's total strength by 10 and adding an additional 2 posts of duration to it. The extra strength lasts for 5 posts.

[Ninjutsu • Destruction Wave]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After the user has channeled a massive amount of chakra into the palm of their hand, the user releases the blast of chakra outward from their hand in up to a 40 meter long, 10 meter diameter swath of destruction at [Control] Speed and Strength. Though seemingly simple, this technique can be quite deadly, leveling buildings and completely pulverising flesh.

After performing the correct hand seals the user proceeds to create a number of clones of themselves (maximum is equal to 1/3rd the users Chakra Pool). The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own, be given complex commands, caught in genjutsu, and can even bleed, but they will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. Given that the clones are an exact replica of the user, they share the same stats except for Chakra Pool, which is determined by the number of clones presently in effect.

Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies of the user in both appearance and substance. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own, be given complex commands, caught in genjutsu, and can even bleed, but they will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. Given that the clones are an exact replica of the user, they share the same stats except for Chakra Pool, which is determined by the number of clones presently in effect. The advantage of this form of the technique is that once dispersed, the chakra distributed to the clones returns to the user, allowing any un-used chakra to be regained, slowing the draining usage of this technique. The chakra returns to the user at a different rate depending on the user's control.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will spray water created from the inside of their chest through their mouth. Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. This defense is somewhat solid and can be formed in any direction the user can spit, up to 10 meters away. The defense is shot at [Control] Speed and has [Control] Strength and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.

The user will form the necessary handseals, causing a small cloud to form a moment before rain begins pouring down from the sky from an elevation of 10 meters, similarly covering a 10x10 meter area in rainfall that comes down with [Control] speed and [Control] strength. The heavy rain will persist for a total of 4 posts unless dispelled early, capable of completely drenching anyone remaining within the area and creating a significant amount of water in the area, typically enough to leave about a 0.5 meter deep puddle depending on terrain.

The user must first form the needed handseals before spraying water outward from oneself or focusing on existing water on another target within 10 meters of the user. The water will spray at a Speed of [Control] and impact with [Control] Strength, spreading outward to cover a 5-meter radius in a thin wave of water, though it can be weakened to closer to an almost mist-like. This will leave the affected target completely dry. If the targeted water contains foreign chakra then this technique will only work if the user has higher control than the creator of the foreign chakra.

D-Rank Ninjutsu
After forming handseals, the user will focus on existing water around them or create their own, pulling in the water from within a 10-meter area at a speed of [Control] into a sphere of water up to 5 meters in diameter. The sphere will then hover in place for 4 posts before falling to the ground. This mass of water will contain [Control] Strength, capable of impeding the movement of anyone or anything that might attempt to pass through the liquid.

D-Rank Ninjutsu
After forming the needed hand seals, the user touches a body of water. Then, the water becomes purified of germs, bacteria, disease and other organic materials. In addition, the water becomes 'pure' and filtered free of excess sediments such as dirt or salt which can be extracted and flowed into a separate reservoir. However, this does not eliminate foreign chakra from the water unless the user has higher control. This technique can purify up to 5 cubic meters of water per post, and can be used for a number of posts equal to the users Chakra Pool stat. While using this technique, the user must be constantly touching the water and cannot use any other techniques.

After performing the correct hand seals the user expels a massive conical water torrent that drenches an area thoroughly, capable of soaking a meter down nearly instantly for soil and like materials. The cone spreads to a width of 15 meters and extends 25 meters, traveling at a speed of [Control] and pushing things back with a strength of [Control].

After performing the correct hand seals the user creates a clone of themselves comprised completely of suiton chakra. This clone has the users stats. It lasts for [Control/5] posts.

*Suiton • Pacifistic Domination

Created to safely incapacitate opponents, after performing the correct hand seals, if the opponent is within 25 meters and is standing a top a body of water with the user's chakra in it, the user will begin to churn their chakra causing the water to turn into a vortex and engulf the opponent, trapping them in a vortex about two meters in diameter. Once the target is inside, the user must hold the last seal and cannot use any other techniques, capable of holding this for up to five posts. In order to escape, the target must have at least [Control] strength to physically make their way out, or the user must be disrupted. Most shinobi would pass out after two posts due to a lack of oxygen. However, if a target possesses an Endurance stat higher than 10, it would require three posts for them to pass out. Should the target possess an Endurance stat above 20, it would require five posts for them to pass out, but anything higher than 30 would allow them to resist passing out altogether.

After the correct hand seals are performed, the user coats themselves in a thick layer of lightning. This armour of lightning forms near instantly and requires [Control] Strength to break. During this time, the user's physical strikes apply the Raiton shocking effect.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will extend two fingers toward a target. A bolt of lightning will jump up to 10 meters from their fingers at [Control] Speed and Strength.

Chanelling chakra into a weapon the user is able to enhance its edge with Raiton, applying [Control] Strength electrical burns and shocking to whatever it strikes as well as making it easier to cut through objects. This aura of lightning also serves to extend the length of the weapon by up to 1 meter at a Speed of [Control] and increase its width by .5 meters. This jutsu lasts for a maximum of 5 posts.

After forming the correct handseals the user will touch an object or surface imbuing it with chakra. At any point over the next 5 posts the user can form an additional half seal and cause the Raiton chakra to explode with [Control] Strength and [control] speed to a diameter of up to 5 meters, electrocuting anyone in the proximity. Before the explosion the area will first glow for an instant with visible chakra. The user must be within 10 meters of the chakra to detonate the explosion.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 25m diameter. This will produce an electric current on the ground in this area visible as crackling lightning on the surface. Any other than the user who step into this zone will have the shocking effect applied and their legs will sustain [Control] Strength shocks. This current lasts 3 posts, while it ends immediately if the user leaves the area.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will create a clone out of their Raiton chakra. This clone will have the user’s stats and upon destruction will surge electricity at [Control] Strength into whatever it is touching. It lasts for [Control/5] posts.

After forming the necessary hand seals the user will manifest lightning around one of their hands, then aiming at a target they can cause lightning to arc from their hand towards a location within 25 meters at a Speed of [Control] and with a shocking Strength of [Control]. After taking the opponent's side either offensively or after evading an attack, the practitioner draws a quick, firm slash across the opponent's side, such as their oblique, rib cage, or arm. The attack is intended to both injure and startle the opponent, often used to disrupt an opponent's attack or sequence of attacks with the severity of the damage. A unique attack within Yoshin, this particular technique is meant to dig as deeply into the opponent and create cuts as wide as possible, many times slashing into bones to cause as much long term damage as possible. The depth and width of the cut can also cause serious blood loss over time. Opponents with an Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank can limit the amount of damage this technique causes.

Forgoing the typical practice of aiming one's blows to do the most critical damage possible, the practitioner instead lashes out at the opponent with a quick snapping slash or thrust. If the attack lands, the practitioner curves and angles the edge of their blade along the cut, making a shallower, irregular cut. While these cuts rarely cause any serious damage on their own, the nature of the cut not only make them difficult to mend or stitch, they also contribute to significant blood loss over time and are incredibly painful for the opponent. This can make moving and executing techniques more difficult for an opponent hit by this technique unless they have an Endurance equal to or higher than the practitioner's Speed.

Aiming to hinder the opponent's mobility, the practitioner launches a quick snapping slash or thrust at the side of one of the opponent's knees, damaging the tendon and causing the muscles in the joint to flare up. Aside from causing significant pain, an opponent hit by this technique will not be able to fully support their weight on the targeted leg, hindering their mobility and creating additional openings for the practitioner to exploit unless they have an Endurance equal to or higher than the practitioner's Speed.

A technique to disarm opponents, the practitioner launches a snapping slash or thrust at the opponent's forearm, severing several key tendons in the forearm. Aside from being disarmed and causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Strength penalty on the opponent due to the damage the muscles have sustained. Moving in close to the opponent, the practitioner launches a series of quick, snapping slashes and thrusts to the opponent's hands, causing deep lacerations. These cuts damage the tendons in the opponent's hands, interfering with their dexterity. These cuts cover sensitive areas between the fingers, knuckle joints, or even potentially under fingernails. While the damage caused by this technique is not life-threatening, it imposes a persisting -3 Endurance penalty on the opponent, as well as making it incredibly painful, if not impossible, for the opponent to wield a weapon with their hand or hands. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

Useful as a counterattack or as an attack all on its own, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their arms before unleashing a violent flurry of slashes and thrusts. Aiming for various major veins and arteries on the body, this technique can be difficult to completely defend against as it targets multiple vastly different areas of the opponent’s body in the span of a single attack. Even one of these attacks landing can penetrate deep into the opponent’s flesh, puncturing or ripping open a major artery or vein, quickly leading to life-threatening blood loss unless the opponent has a Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Multiple hits scored by this technique can cause an opponent to bleed out in a manner of minutes unless they seek immediate medical attention.

A Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Yoshin • Field Dressing].
Using their intimate knowledge of the human anatomy to their advantage, the practitioner will attack an opponent on a seemingly innocuous part of their body, such as a pinpoint slash or thrust to the hand or the top of the thigh, aiming for a highly sensitive nerve point in that area of the opponent's body. The cut or slash itself does almost no damage to the opponent's flesh, but as the tip or edge of the blade makes contact, the practitioner will twist and put pressure on the nerve point, sending a violent shock through the opponent's body. Opponents with a Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank will be able to resist any adverse affects from this technique aside from the pain. Otherwise, the opponent is suddenly and immediately paralyzed, interrupting any action they were presently executing and instantaneously freezing their muscles. This paralysis lasts for three posts.

This highly useful field technique is applied to bleeding wounds to help encourage the coagulation of the blood. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot. Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

*[Iijutsu • Sterilization Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
As sanitation cannot always be guaranteed in field operations, this technique provides a quick substitute to traditional sterilization methods. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel the chakra throughout his/her upper body (torso, arms, hands, face). This chakra will chew away at harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies on the skin, cleansing it until it is thoroughly sterile, and can be spread to objects, most commonly surgical tools. Of course, this takes both concentration and time, and in order to sterilize the entire upper body, it will take a duration of one (1) post. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead for a lesser concentration period. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.

*[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Simple in its form yet highly effective in practice, the *[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow] technique allows its users to clear obstructed airways, to perform less extensive CPR, and to give cells the oxygen they crave. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place both over the target's chest (through the back works as well). By allowing the chakra to be channeled throughout the lungs and up through the air ways, any unseen, solid or liquid obstructions will be cleared from these passages and ejected through the mouth, allowing the patient to breathe more easily. Additionally, the hands can be placed over the heart to help oxygenate the body's cells. In this instance, users must be much more careful, as over-oxygenating cells can cause more harm than good. This technique takes the entirety of one post to perform.

*[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
When traditional stitching supplies aren't available, *[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] truly shines. After performing a short set of handseals, the user will gently place his/her index finger at the base of the patient's wound. Once this is done, the user will lift his/her finger and touch it to the other side of the wound, causing a visible 'stitch' of chakra to appear. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Although precision is key, this technique can still be performed relatively quickly. Small to moderate wounds take very little time to stitch, while large wounds will take one (1) post of work to mend. This technique drains a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attached to in order to keep the stitches going, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. Any intensive or strenuous movements will cause the stitches to break.

*[Iijutsu • Personal Protective Equipment]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
When real latex equipment is not on hand, the user will perform a single hand seal and will focus chakra onto their hands, nose, and mouth to form a thin layer of chakra around them at [Control] Speed and Strength. This chakra will filter bacteria and other particles to and from the user, the environment, and their medical equipment. This technique can be held as long as the user has chakra.

Prerequisite: *[Chakra Scalpel]
While *[Chakra Scalpel] is in use, the user will focus and enhance the chakra into a precision blade unable to be used to damage an opponent in combat but perfect to make precision incisions in patients. The user will then separate soft tissues with a brief touch and be able to cut only what needs to be cut, in exactly the way it needs to be cut, ensuring that the user may remove, heal, or focus on only the tissue in question for up to 5 posts.

The user will channel chakra into their free hand while the other maintains the **[Careful Cut] jutsu. The user will then place their hand over an eye or pair of eyes and infuse them with this chakra. This chakra will coat the eye ball(s) and numb the nerves while preserving it after it is removed with the **[Careful Cut] jutsu.

*[Iijutsu • Local Anesthesia]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will channel chakra into their hands and then place them over a group of muscles. Their chakra will spread through the muscle group at [Control Speed and numbness will begin to creep throughout it, beginning with the flesh before seeping into the muscle below. This numbing begins where the user has placed his/her hands and spreads outward until the hands are removed. The numbness can only cause pain equivalent to being stabbed with a kunai to be nullified. Once numbed, the effects last for four (4) posts before fading.

[Iijutsu • Skin Separation]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Typically used to wear the face or distinctive markings/tattoos of another, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Separation] technique separates the skin of the corpse from the underlying muscle. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will slowly move them over the desired area. As the chakra is channeled through the flesh, it will create a layer between skin and muscle, allowing the user to make an incision and peel the skin free. The user can then create an additional layer of chakra on their desired surface and seamlessly apply the segment of skin, appearing completely natural and healthy so long as the sample is reasonably fresh. The skin will remain adhered for 4 posts before failing unless more permanent jutsu is used to merge the flesh.

[Iijutsu • Healer's Palm]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Capable of healing wounds, it is a lesser version of *Mystical Palm designed to maintain chakra efficiency against lesser wounds while still lending medical aid to allies or oneself. Placing his hand over a wound, Ichiro will begin to channel chakra and have it interact with the cells and tissue of the person he wishes to heal. The wound itself will begin to regenerate until there is little to nothing left of the wound save for a scar. Small-to-moderate wounds will heal over the course of 2 posts while more extensive wounds take a length of 4 posts to heal. This technique can be channeled for a maximum of posts equal to Ichiro's Control but can only focus on one wound at a time.

*[Iijutsu • False Death]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
This simple ninjutsu is comprised of the user's knowledge of the human body and the ability to mask all vital signs. By focusing chakra throughout the body to preserve its function while in this state, the user can appear to be dead as long as they have chakra to spare. This act can seem very realistic to the untrained opponent, but is foiled by sensor techniques, certain doujutsu and jutsu, and the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] technique.

C-Ranked Nintaijutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel]
Once the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel] has been activated, users may choose to use this jutsu as an alternative to the aforementioned technique's usual action. When in close range, the user will attempt to jab his/her charged hand at the opponent, seeking to connect with a bone. If successful, the chakra will be released into the opponent's body as a sharp, precise burst to the area of contact, causing the bone to fracture. If this area is struck again in the same spot, the bone will inevitably break. This technique does not harm anything but the bone—not even the skin—and is dispelled after three (3) posts or until contact with the opponent is made. However, since both hands are charged, the user has two chances with this technique per use (one per hand).

*[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
Perhaps one of the most important Iijutsu techniques to date, the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] allows its users to probe another's body in search for medical answers. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. Using this chakra as an internal extension of his/her hand to feel for abnormalities and other issues, the user is often able to determine the problem after some time and concentration. In order for a thorough examination to provide sufficient answers, the user will focus for up to one (1) post, seeking signs of internal and external damage, organ malfunction and disease among other ailments. Although skilled medical-nin have the possibility to work faster, skill cannot be substituted in for thoroughness.

*[Iijutsu • Skin Generation]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Often utilized by medical-nin to heal small, superficial wounds or for producing excess skin to use in skin grafts, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique has its number of uses. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel it into a small area of skin cells on the patient's body. This chakra will force the skin cells to multiply at an ample rate by confusing this area of the body into its reconstruction stage that is achieved during slumber. As this is a type of regeneration, users must keep in mind that each cell draws from nutrients in the patient's body, and as such, too much can cause serious harm. In order to regenerate medium-sized areas of superficial wounds, it takes one (1) post of concentration. Areas smaller than this take considerably less time. In the case that the skin sample is separate from the body, the cells can be multiplied more quickly than they could be otherwise. These types of samples are generally use for skin grafts. The *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique can be held for four (4) posts.

*[Iijutsu • Cleanse Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
In the event that creating an antidote is not possible, users of this technique can still help their patient fight off toxins, infections and other foreign bodies. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. As this chakra flows into the body, the leukocytes will react to its presence and begin to multiply rapidly. This influx of white blood cells takes one (1) post of concentration to create. Over the course of five (5) posts, the new and old leukocytes are able to fight off poisons that are C-Rank and below that have entered the body. During these final five posts, the medical-nin does not need to continuously focus chakra into the patient. It will take care of itself at this point.

[Iijutsu • Withering Strike]
B ranked Ninjutsu
After coating a weapon in chakra, the user will strike the target. Once contact is made, the chakra will flow into the opponent weakening them. This chakra will interfere with the signals from the brain, reducing the possible output of their body. This temporary state will incur a -6 to the targets Strength over the next 4 posts.

After coating a weapon in chakra, the user will strike the target. Once contact is made, the chakra will flow into the opponent weakening them. [Iijutsu •Dead Soul Technique]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals the user must make contact with a corpse, flowing chakra into it and animating it as long as it remains within 25 meters of themselves. They can then manipulate the appearance and voice of the corpse to resemble another. The corpse however is only capable of taijutsu and its physical stats are limited to 20. The user must remain relatively still and maintain focus, able to see through the eyes of the corpse. After 5 posts, the corpse will return to its lifeless state.

*[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Perhaps one of the most dangerous and revered Iijutsu honed by medical-nin, the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel] is no precision instrument. After performing the necessary handseals, the user will begin to focus an ample amount of chakra into his/her hands. Once charged with chakra, the user will attempt to place his/her hands on the target. If the user is able to connect the entirety of his/her palm, the chakra will be released into the opponent's body, slicing tissue, organs and veins up to 4 inches from the surface in an area roughly the size of the user's hand. The skin remains unblemished by this technique, as it only causes small to moderate internal wounds. As this technique is dangerous and mostly uncontrolled, the precision needed to kill instantaneously is lost. The chakra used in this technique is highly visible when first activated and emanates from both hands for a duration of three (3) posts or until contact with the opponent is made.

*[Iijutsu • Paralysis Removal]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
This handy technique is used in cases where patients have suffered temporary paralysis somewhere throughout their bodies. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will apply them to the affected area and begin to channel chakra through the muscle tissue. As this chakra interacts with the temporarily lame muscle tissue, it will restore natural mobility to the area. Areas as large as an entire limb will take one (1) post of concentration to release, while releasing half the body from paralysis will take two (2) posts, and finally, to undo the entire body from paralysis, it takes three (3) posts of concentration. This technique is only effective on paralysis caused by jutsu or certain poisons.

*[Iijutsu • Bone Regeneration Technique]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Although simple to explain, the *[Iijutsu • Bone Regeneration Technique] requires both skill and patience in order to mend the fractured or broken bones of patients. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will begin to channel it through the area of the break or fracture. As this chakra makes contact with the bone, it will stimulate the calcium production of the body and begin to mend the bone. To mend small-to-medium breaks, it takes one (1) post of concentration, while fractures are usually very quick to mend. Multiple breaks can be mended during the use of this technique as it lasts for a total of five (5) posts or until canceled. Users should beware that, like other regenerations of this kind, the nutrient stores of the patient's body are being depleted during its use, and too many uses of this technique in a short span of time can cause serious damage.

B-Ranked Iijutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals and focusing chakra on a patient outside of combat, the user is able to heavily sedate them. This sedation technique is used to perform deeply invasive surgeries on patients, preventing them from moving while under and also keeping them deeply asleep and lasts for up [Chakra Pool]/2 posts. If a patient wakes up during the procedure, they will find themselves, depending on their [Willpower], mentally scarred from the intense amount of pain the surgery causes, and their vitals will go insane while they are awake unless they possess a sufficient [Discipline] to remain collected under immense stress and pain. Patients require greater or equal Control than the user's Control to fight off the sedation completely.

[Iijutsu • Elongated Chakra Scalpel]

Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel]
Functioning much like its predecessor, Elongated Chakra Scalpel is an enhanced form of the technique. After forming the necessary hand seals, Ichiro will focus an ample amount of chakra into his hands. Once charged, the chakra will form up to a 3-meter-long blade of energy that extends from his hands like a sword. Should the chakra scalpel pass through a persons body, it will go through them slicing tissue, organs and veins to cause extensive internal damage, but it does not damage the surface such as skin or clothing. if untreated such wounds can be fatal. The chakra used in this technique is highly visible when first activated and emanates from both hands for a duration of up to 5 posts or until contact with the opponent is made. However, since both hands are charged, the user has two chances with this technique per use (one per hand.)

*[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm]
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 20 Iijutsu
One of the almighty and most highly coveted abilities of medical-nin, the *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm] technique allows its users to heal wounds quickly and efficiently. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them over the wound in question and begin to channel chakra through it. As the chakra interacts with the cells and tissues in the area, the wound will begin to regenerate and heal over until there's no remnant of it ever being there. Of course, this is not done in the blink of an eye. To heal small-to-moderate wounds, it takes very little time, while large wounds take one (1) post of concentration to mend, and mortal wounds take a total of two (2) posts to fully mend. This technique lasts for four (4) posts, but due to its chakra-extensive nature, users are not advised to treat multiple large wounds in a single use.

*[Iijutsu • Chaotic Mental Collision
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Must have Raiton
Utilizing electricity to work, the *[Iijutsu • Chaotic Mental Collision technique is a highly dangerous Iijutsu. To begin, the user will focus regular chakra into his/her hands moments prior to electrifying it with Raiton chakra. This charged chakra will be used in an attempt to disrupt the target's nervous system through close-range contact with the user's hand. If the user is able to connect the flat of his/her palm with the opponent's body, the chakra will be released into it. As this chakra interacts with the foe's nervous system over the course of three (3) posts, it will begin to sever the brain's communication with the rest of the body. During the first post, motor skills such as walking, talking and moving one's hands will be delayed by several seconds. During the second post, the target will begin to lose control over movement in his/her body as the action delay grows worse. By the third post, all motor skills will cease and the target will be rendered immobile. This complete immobility lasts for two (2) posts.

Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm]
The pinnacle of the Mystical Palm techniques allows its users to heal wounds almost instantaneously. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them over the wound in question and begin to channel chakra through it. As the chakra interacts with the cells and tissues in the area, the wound will begin to regenerate and heal over until there's no remnant of it ever being there. This is done in the blink of an eye for most wounds. To heal small-to-moderate wounds, and even large wounds take very little time, whereas Mortal wounds take one (1) post of concentration to mend, This technique lasts for four (4) posts, but due to its chakra-extensive nature, users are not advised to treat multiple large wounds in a single use.

A truly unique move in that it can be used alongside other Fuuinjutsu, by channeling into their finger as they draw in the air directly in front of them, the user releases raw chakra the lingers for a small amount of time, allowing it to be used as a seal formula. Alternatively the user can also do hand seals and place their hands forward, causing a seal to burst to life in the air in front of them. This technique consumes chakra equal to the cost of the technique.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will hold their hand over a seal, and begin to remove it. This removal will be successful as long as the user has more [Control] than that of which the Fuuinjutsu was sealed with.

After drawing a seal formula on a surface, ensuring it is large enough for the object that is about to be stored. The user will then begin placing the object into the seal. The user can only seal objects up to their ([Control]*2)m^3 in size.

After drawing a ([Control]/5)x([Control]/5) meter seal formula on a surface of an object. The user will then arm it with their chakra up to [Control] strength with a concussive force explosion outwards from itself.

*Storage Fuuinjutsu • Sealing Defense

By having an empty surface with a seal formula placed on it, the user is able to use the seal as a defensive measure. Holding a single, one-handed hand seal, the user attempts to block the incoming projectile with the surface. Right before contact is actually made, the projectile will be sealed into the seal. While strong, the seal must be the same size or larger than the projectile it is attempting to seal. This seal can protect up to the user’s [Control] in Strength. Once used to seal and then release again, the seal will need to be rewritten. The user can only seal objects up to their ([Control]*2)m^3 in size.

After placing four barrier tags in a square, the user draws a line connecting each of the tags. When kai'd, all the tags are set off simultaneously throwing up a barrier at a strength and speed of the user’s [Control]. This barrier lasts for 4 posts.

Seal Analysis
C-Rank Removal Fuuinjutsu
Fuuinjutsu is an extremely formulaic style of jutsu, the seal itself almost forming a "source code" of sorts to the actual purpose of the seal. After the appropriate hand seals, the user will touch the seal, scanning it carefully with their chakra and analyzing the handiwork of the seal. This will reveal the complexity and rank of fuuinjutsu casted or placed with less than or equal [Control] to the user.

After drawing a seal of appropriate size for the object but no larger than 1 meter, the user is able to store things at depth within this seal to near limitless lengths. The user is able to store up to [Control]/2 of the same item within this seal regardless of the depth of the surface.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will chant off a list of words, then they’ll then touch the target’s tongue as the seal forms on it. As long as the seal remains on the target's tongue, their ability to speak those words is removed.

By performing the necessary hand seals, the user will then touch their target’s ear and on the lips, this creates an audio link between themselves and any targets they personally place this seal combination on. While hearing is always active, channeling chakra into the seal allows affected targets to speak, their words being stored and transmitted to the other seals. The act of speaking charges negligent chakra.

C-rank Augment Fuuinjutsu
By placing a seal on the back of an eye and a secondary surface, then performing a short set of seals, the user creates a visual link between the two. Anything the eye sees is transmitted in color detail across the surface.

After forming the necessary hand seals, the user will have their hand glow with five seals on each of their fingers before they make contact with their target transferring the seals. This seals off the target's tenketsu, disturbing their chakra flow and blocking it, essentially making the target incapable of utilizing their chakra for jutsu as long as the seal is on them.

After forming the necessary hand seals, the user will have their hand glow with five seals on each of their fingers before they make contact with their target transferring the seals.This seals off the target’s ability to move their body and limbs disrupting their nervous system. The user will do a series of hand seals and then point at a harmful projectile, jutsu, or weapon within 30 meters and will close time on it for a period of time of [control/10] posts stopping it in its tracks. This can be contested and broken by exerting strength or kinesis on it at [control-10] strength.

Erase space: Object
C-rank Jikukan Ninjutsu
The user will do a short series of hand seals, ending with a single finger pointing at a projectile or jutsu of up to 30 meters in diameter and firing off a jikukan pin at [control] speed travelling up to 30 meters. If the jutsu or object has [control-10] strength will disappear from space entirely. If it has [control-9] strength or greater it will disappear for 1 post before resuming its trajectory.

The user will do a short series of hand seals, they touch a serious wound and revert it to a time before it was inflicted. This lasts 5 posts before it reopens again with the same severity.

The user will do a series of hand seals, then focus on a ninjutsu within 40m of their person. Any posts counts on that ninjutsu will be sped up by 4 posts. Should this go beyond the limit for that ninjutsu, it will end as it would had it reached completion.

Expand Space: Mile in an inch
B-rank Jikukan Ninjutsu
The user will do a short series of hand seals, ending with a single finger pointing at a point within 60 meters and firing a pin of Jikukan energy at [control] speed. The distance will increase by 60 meters in all directions within a 60 meter radius, effectively doubling the amount of space that it takes to cross the 60 meters for anything caught within.

The user will channel the needed chakra and spawn a 20m diameter Space-Time portal leading to the void between realms. The portal draws in anything, whether it be attacks, debris, or even people, with [Control] Strength and Speed and deposits whatever is sucked up into the empty between realms or directed to a specific location with the aid of a [Space-Time - Formula Seal].

The user will do a series of hand seals, then reach out into the air in front of them and physically grab “space” pulling apart their two hands to tear apart Space right in front of them up to 3x3 meters. D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After performing the hand seals and pricking the opponent with some sort of small weapon (usually senbon), the opponent feels their arms and legs fall asleep. It feels as if the blood flow to these appendages has basically stopped, making their movements a tad sluggish and just all around uncomfortable. This jutsu doesn’t really hinder a person, but it makes everything they do feel off. For those who are attuned to the way their body feels during battle, it can be extremely distracting. Lasts 3 posts.

Ichiro was born in a moderate sized farming village in the North Eastern portion of Waterfall Country. His father; Takeda Masato was a fairly wealthy man, who served as the village leader and for his services in managing the farms of his village was paid well by the Daimyo of the nation. His mother on the other hand was born with the name of Ito Setsuko, she had been raised in Kirigakure and had fled the village while on a mission at the age of 19 as a Chunin. Quite simply she had broken mentally from the loss of her comrades, whom as a medical ninja she had failed to save. She faked her death rather than continuing to fight, which in the chaos of 2 of her other comrades being killed, was a farily easy feat to accomplish. Her last squad member however narrowly managed to escape and report back to kiri the loss of his unit. The enemies had left the bodies to pursue the surviving team member giving Setsuko an opportunity to escape. Rather than returning to the village though she decided to abandon the life of a shinobi. For three years Setsuku travelled throughout the minor countries, starting in Grass country and working her way down to bird country, never staying in one town for more than a few weeks. She covered her tracks well, using a different name in every town and only taking odd jobs, never using her shinobi arts. Often she would change her appearance and several times she had caught wind that there were hunter-ninja inquiring about her whereabouts. After years of using her high intelligence to stay ahead of her pursuers she quickly passed through the outskirts of earth country and began moving through the towns of Waterfall Country. Eventually she settled in one village after falling in love with the man who ran it. She had been using the alias of Kaori at the time and as such decided to make it her permanent name. After years of living day-to-day, struggling and barely able to afford food and housing Setsuku was finally able to settle down and live comfortably, eventually even being blessed with a family.

Childhood was kind to the boy. He had access to private tutors and learned how to read and right as well as other schooling such as art, arithmetic, history, and biology. Sciences and anatomy in particular held appeal to the boy, though his mother instructed him in the basic ways of medicine she refrained from sharing her ninjutsu knowledge. No one knew about her background and she wouldn’t endanger her family by exposing her shinobi past. Despite their fortune however, his parents insisted that Ichiro work the local farms several days a week in order to build character and discipline. Even his younger sister Sayuri was brought up to do chores and help out on farms with ‘women’s’ work such as cooking and sewing.

At the age of 8 Ichiro began training at the Yoshin style kenjutsu dojo, training regularly on the weekends while still maintaining his studies and farm work. The dojo was several hours from his village by horseback though he would always travel with a hired escort for protection. By the time he was 12 the boy was permitted to no longer work the farms and instead dedicate his time to intellectual matters and his kenjutsu training. He had even begun to spend days at a time at the dojo.

One year later tragedy struck, the soul Genma had begun a rampage through his country, demolishing many villages and raising the dead in a swath of destruction across the land. Fortunately the horrors took place throughout the central and western regions of the country and then continued south, leaving his village and the dojo he trained at un-harmed. Months later however an aftermath of the attack plagued areas of the country, a sickness had begun to spread due to contamination of the rivers and soil from rotting bodies.

Eventually the sickness reached Ichiro's village. At the time of first discovery Ichiro had been at the Dojo, where he had been urged to stay by a messenger sent by his father. His younger sister Sayuri was among the first to be afflicted. Takeo’s father moved to a safe-house while Ichiro remained at the dojo and Kaori (his mother) tended to Sayuri, drawing on her medical experience to tend to her daughter and keep her alive. The village was cut off and those that were sick were quarantined, the bodies of the dead burned. Crops died with nobody to tend to them and the village was thrown into turmoil. After a month Kaori left her daughters bed-side, she had begun to recover. Once her daughter was stable Kaori took control over the matters of the village, working tirelessly to treat those who were sick and to take the proper precautions to prevent it from spreading to other villages. By mid-fall the sickness had finally been purged, of a village of 150 people, 31 had died, whilst 64 had managed to recover, the rest remaining unaffected due to Kaori’s precautions. Unfortunately his mother had contracted the sickness and being too determined to save others had ultimately died as a result.

The boy returned to his home, reunited with his father and sister, though only for a few months in order to mourn for his mother. It was then that Sayuri told him about how their mother had used magic to save the village. Her and many villagers had seen it first hand and chose to honour Kaori for her sacrifice, deeming her some sort of mystical saviour. Through his studies however Ichiro realized the ability to be one of the shinobi arts and decided at that moment that he too would learn of its powers. The village’s food reserve was dangerously low and Ichiro couldn’t bear to see more of his friends die. He packed his supplies and weapons, told his sister that he would return and that he loved her and then at the age of 13 he left. His goal was simple, become stronger, learn medical ninjutsu and return with allies so that his village would never face such hardship again.

Within a few months of leaving home Ichiro came across a healer named Saigo who had set up a triage in southern Waterfall country. It hadn't taken long to discover that the man was a shinobi and so Ichiro devoted himself to the man, learning much in the principals of chakra and medical techniques as he helped in the clinic for several weeks before departing to Marsh Country. The journey was long and in that time Ichiro finally learned some basic applications of chakra as well as discovering his primary affinity for Suiton. Not long after arriving in Marsh Country to assist in bolstering the defences of a small village and tend to their people, Saigo departed, claiming that he had important business to take care of that would be too dangerous for Ichiro to come along. Staying in the village for the remainder of the year Ichiro grew impatient and frustrated at his lack of progress without his mentor and so he set off on his own.

His travels brought him to Fur Country where he took in the festivities and encountered several shinobi and minor folk alike who could wield chakra. It was here that he finally mastered the basic techniques with the assistance of a Sunagakure shinobi by the name of Zao. He too furthered his understanding of Suiton practicing alongside a handful of others like himself. Of course he knew the protection of the festival wouldn't last forever and so he set off before it ended, having caught some negative attention from a Konoha shinobi. His travels brought him to Water Country, birthplace of his mother, though Ichiro was cautious not to interact with any Kiri shinobi, instead searching for work as his financial situation grew dire. Fortunately the now sixteen year old was able to secure a position aboard a ship with a man named Kaisui and his younger sister. As it turned out the group of teenagers ended up resorting to minor piracy in order to keep themselves fed, traveling the seas for over a year together aboard a small ship until eventually they drew the attention of Kirigakure. Kaisui, whom was a former shinobi himself from Kumogakure, managed to draw the attention to himself and allow Ichiro and his sister to escape together to Tea Country before reuniting and continuing to sail together and grow their crew.

He found his life consumed in piracy and smuggling, building up contacts and slowly gaining more influence as a first-mate of the Black Wake. Along the way he joined the organization of Chishiki, an information network that traded secrets and knowledge around the world. And when the war eventually broke out, Ichiro and Kaisui made well for themselves, using their ninjutsu skills to seize control of the coalition of pirates of Jinjeku island. With this force at their disposal the duo conquered several small islands and largely uninhabited territories, extending the reach of their smuggling operations. At one point they even took over Knowledge country, strongarming the world's best scientists and researchers into assisting their fleets with innovative new technologies. Ichiro also went behind their back and sold many of their patents on the black market for great profits, though such designs would make their way through minor countries. At one point the Black Wake even fought against Konoha forces and came up victorious, forcing the shinobi to retreat from Lava island. Though their connections to Knowledge country were severed as soon as war ended and the shinobi nations rallied to take it back, to find it abandoned by the pirates. Now, with Kaisui as the pirate King, Ichiro had ventured off on his own vessel alongside his companion Sumire, continuing their smuggling and thieving operations as he continues to grow stronger and slowly build up new allies so that he might finally return to his homeland that had been conquered during the war.

Appearance: Sumire has a dark brown skin tone and a shapely athletic body with sizable breasts and notable curves to her hips. Her soft and clear skin is marred only by her unusual traits. Along her shoulders and back grow several clusters of luminescent purple mushrooms, about 2 inches tall, in addition to a 3-inch tall and wide white and aquamarine colored mushroom that grows just above her left ear. At first glance this simply appears to be a decoration against her deep purple tinted black hair that flows to her mid-back. Finally, along the underside of her wrists and the back of her ankles are small clusters of about half a dozen inch long blue mushrooms. Another oddity are the woman’s eyes, pale tan in coloration they lack pupils, giving her cream-colored eyes an almost lifeless or perhaps blind look at first glance though she in fact retains full vision.

Given her oddities the woman wears a thick tan scarf that rests over shoulders and can be easily draped over her head. Aside from this her body is largely exposed, wearing a simple straw and fur skirt and a cloth top that crosses over her chest and wraps around her neck. She also wears simple forearm and calf sleeves made of tight-fitting black fabric. Additionally, she travels with a tan cloak which she will wear when travelling through colder regions, complete with a hood if necessary, to further obscure her unique physical traits.

Personality: Sumire is a very curious individual, coming from a reclusive clan in a land plagued with violence the young woman always strives for peaceful resolutions though is adventurous in searching for new experiences and learning more about the outside world. She has a love for food, alcohol, drugs and sex despite also possessing a nurturing and almost motherly personality toward those in her care. In unfamiliar places she is often rather shy at first though finds comfort in being around friends and will readily warm up to new situations if encouraged, allowing her more outgoing personality to surface.

Though Sumire is confident and comfortable with her body, realizing her beauty, she fears for the day when the mushrooms inevitably grow fervently and large enough to be impossible to hide. With that in mind she seeks to enjoy her youth to its fullest while she can before returning to her homeland and growing old as mushrooms consume her. She too hopes to utilize her medical skills for the sake of others as much as possible instead of the majority of her clan which keep themselves and their secrets hidden. Believed to be blessed by a Goddess, the Kinoko's Kekkei Genkai gives them the capability of growing mushrooms from their bodies and their surroundings and to produce large amounts of spores from their tenketsu as well as any fungi the Kinoko member creates through an energy source they call Mycorrhiza, which would be identified by the five villages as chakra. These fungi and their spores can be utilized in a number of different ways with techniques of all sorts, making members of this clan highly versatile. Unless otherwise specified, mushrooms created through Kinoko techniques constantly produce spores from their gills. These spores are the basis of many Kinoko techniques, but have a weakness in that they are easily burned, washed off or blown away.

Kinoko clan members vary wildly in appearance depending on age, birth, and even their chosen specialization to some extent with older clan members having more of their body covered with larger and more diverse forms of fungi. As such, while each member shares common traits of dark skin and pale, faded eyes the rest of their appearance can vary wildly, making it so that no two Kinoko share many commonalities in how they look, their uniqueness only growing with time.

From this point mushrooms grow at a Speed of [Control], covering an area of 1 meter in diameter. These mushrooms have a Strength of [Control] and are constantly creating spores. These spores can be used for other Kinojutsu. The user cannot make these mushrooms grow on metal, stone, concrete or similar materials.

The user gathers Mycorrhiza and sends it to a point within a number of meters equal to their Control stat in meters at a Speed of [Control]. From this point, small mushrooms will begin to grow in specific patterns as desired by the user in order to write a message or dictate a fairly simply drawing/depiction so long as the size doesn’t cover more than 1 meter in diameter. It is optional whether or not these mushrooms produce spores upon creation.

The user gathers Mycorrhiza and sends it to a point within a number of meters equal to their Control stat in meters at a Speed of [Control]. From this point a single, large mushroom, the cap roughly three feet in diameter with a sturdy, one foot tall stem will sprout. This mushroom sprouts with [Control] Speed and Strength and is constantly creating spores. These spores can be used for other Kinojutsu. This mushroom is springy and elastic and can be jumped on to propel the user in any direction with +3 Speed at the cost of -3 Strength while airborne. This mushroom is capable of propelling individuals or objects up to 10 meters.

The user gathers Mycorrhiza and sends it to an existing fungus within a number of meters equal to their Control stat in meters from them. From then on, up to 3 posts, the user can see through this fungus as if it were their own eyes allowing them to see whatever is within the immediate area, able to see as far as their eyes normally would without the aid of other enhancing techniques.

The user gathers Mycorrhiza and sends it to an existing fungus within a number of meters equal to their Control stat in meters from them. From then on, up to 3 posts, the user can hear through this fungus as if it were their own ears allowing them to hear whatever is within the immediate area, able to hear as far as 5 meters away from the fungus.

The user gathers Mycorrhiza and touches the ground, creating a wide-spreading mesh of mycelium just beneath the surface which travels up to a distance equal to the user's Control stat in meters in diameter at a Speed of [Control] and with [Control] Strength. For every 5 meters the mycelium travels, a small white mushroom will sprout. These mushrooms have a Strength of [Control] and are constantly creating spores. These spores can be used for other Kinojutsu.

The user gathers Mycorrhiza at a point on their body of their choosing and sprouts a large, 3 foot diameter mushroom cap with a 6 inch stalk at a Speed of [Control]. This cap has a Strength of [Control]. Striking this cap with a Strength less than the Strength of the cap will cause whatever struck it to bounce off with equal Strength.

The user gathers Mycorrhiza and creates a thick, white mushroom from their body. Upon consumption of this mushroom, the body will begin to heal itself in a regenerative fashion. The rate of regeneration depends on the user's Control stat, as specified by the standard regeneration table. This mushroom is only capable of healing Moderate wounds and lesser.

Parachute
C-Ranked Kinojutsu
Activating their Mycorrhiza and manipulating spores or mushrooms within [Control] meters the user can create a large thin mushroom that can sprout from an object or person, expanding anywhere from 1-5 meters in diameter. This mushroom is extremely light though durable and catches wind easily, fully capable of acting as a parachute to slow one’s descent. The mushroom forms with strength and speed equal to [Control] and can also be used defensively or to suddenly slow one down and create drag equal to the amount of speed it was formed at.

Merge with the Mushroom

Controlling their Mycorrhiza, the user is able to enter into one of their mushrooms that is large enough to contain their body. Similarly, other people can be pulled in so long as the user is in direct contact with them. While inside the mushroom structure/construct the user is able to see through the substance though their vision is limited somewhat as it is like looking through a translucent substance covered in many strands of connected fungal fibers. Whenever desired the user can exit the mushroom and similarly pull out anyone or anything else they brought in with them. While inside the user can still breathe, though the ‘air’ feels heavy as the mushroom supplies them with filtered oxygen.

Prerequisite: Target must have fungal spores on them.
The use gathers Mycorrhiza and sends it into a patch of spores on the target. The spores will then grow into dense mycelium at a Speed of [Control], burrowing into and breaking apart whatever the mycelium is on with [Control] Strength.

~Binding Mycelium

Prerequisite: Target must have fungal spores on them.
The user gathers Mycorrhiza into their hand. After the user has done so, they will attempt to touch a target which has spores on it. If they do the Mycorrhiza will transfer over to the spores, causing the spores to grow dense, fibrous mycelium at a Speed of [Control]. These mycelium fibers will wrap around the target and bind them with a Strength of [Control], completely covering the target.

The user gathers Mycorrhiza throughout their body before releasing a thick cloud of spores that cover an area equal to twice the user's Control stat in meters. Inhaling these spores is comparable to inhaling smoke or ash and can cause heavy, labored coughing to anyone caught within it unexpectedly. The cloud lasts for four posts or until cleared by some means such as a fuuton technique. These spores can be used for other Kinojutsu.

Mushroom bomb
B-Ranked Kinojutsu
The user gathers Mycorrhiza and sends it into a mushroom or group of mushrooms within control meters of them. Anytime over the next five posts they can be discharged to explode with a cumulative concussive force equal to [Control] that spreads the shockwave, pieces of mushroom and a thick cloud of spores over a 15-meter radius area. This blast can be quite dangerous as well as disorienting.

Psychedelic

The user gathers Mycorrhiza and sends it to a point within a number of meters equal to their Control stat in meters at a Speed of [Control]. From this point bright purple and blue mushrooms grow at a Speed of [Control], covering an area up to 1 meter in diameter in small mushrooms, no bigger than 4 inches in length. The spores created by these mushrooms create a sense of relaxation and peacefulness when inhaled and spread to a distance of [Control]/2 meters. When ingested however the effects are much stronger, on the second post after consumption those affected will experience euphoria, greatly lowered inhibitions and possibly even hallucinations that vary widely depending on the person though usually involve sensory changes such as distorted shapes, colours and auditory changes. The greater ones Endurance the less severe the effects and after 5 posts experiencing these changes the individual will regain their normal perception.

Mushroom Knight

The user gathers Mycorrhiza and sends it to a mushroom within an area equal to the user's Endurance in meters of them. The mushroom grows rapidly into a 3-meter tall, 2-meter-wide mushroom warrior with a wide protective mushroom cap atop its head, as well as a large mouth, and thick powerful arms and legs. On its left arm is a 1-meter diameter mushroom head growing out of its arm, acting as a shield and its right hand wields a sturdy mushroom that’s head is compact acting like a bludgeoning mace. This warrior is incapable of speaking though can obey commands and can travel no more than 2 miles from the user before rooting itself down and going dormant until they come back within range.

This mushroom constantly creates spores while it is active and can move autonomously and has the following stats:

~Ravenous Cloud

Prerequisite: Draining Cloud
The user gathers Mycorrhiza and sends it into a cloud of spores within an area in meters equal to their [Control] stat. From then on, anyone who comes into contact with the cloud of spores except for the user will suffer from a -5 endurance debuff for as long as they are in contact with the cloud. This technique lasts for four posts.

~Deep Colony Emergence
S-ranked Kinojutsu
The user gathers a large quantity Mycorrhiza and sends it into the ground beneath them, causing a dense growth of mycelium to spread out in a 60 meter area and 5 meters deep all throughout that area at a Speed of [Control]. One post later, the ground will begin to shake as mushrooms and fungi of all sorts erupt from the mycelium filled earth, sprouting into a colony of fungus at and erupting upwards with [Control] Strength. The mushrooms created through this technique come in all sizes, ranging from tiny six inch tall mushrooms which litter the ground to titanic 30 meter tall mushrooms. Fungi of all sorts hang from between the mushrooms and cover the ground. Every mushroom within this area produces thick spores constantly, making it a thick, smoggy haze within the area in which the colony resides that heavily reduces visibility and inhaling these spores is comparable to inhaling smoke or ash and can cause heavy, labored coughing to anyone within the colony who is nor prepared to deal with them. These spores can be cleared by means of fuuton ninjutsu or similar techniques but will be replaced by more spores as long as there are mushrooms to create them, similar to the Mist passive.

History Sumire was born into the Kinoko clan within the Land of Plains and Sea. Like the rest of her family, she was born from a mushroom, raised in seclusion and only interacting with her rather family, including her extended relatives numbering close to 100 total individuals. In her own immediate family, she was raised along with several brothers and sisters and maintained close ties with her grandparents and her many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Taught the value of preserving life and experimenting with medical procedures from a young age she took well to her medical studies and classes. Her mushroom growths however were more subtle than most, being a bit of a late bloomer and having little more than a few patches of blue bumps until she was 10 years old and only one properly grown mushroom above her ear. Nonetheless she was able to learn her families sacred arts, progressing well. By the time she was a teenager she had surpassed most her age though she had begun to feel curious about the outside world.

Often Sumire would volunteer to head into villages for supply runs, enjoying interacting with the locals despite their more aggressive and raiding tribal culture. She would remain cautious of such people and optimistic that there were others in distant lands that were not quite so violent. Growing up further and into her late teen years Sumire asked frequently about the experiences some of the elders of the clan had in their youth, many encouraged her to venture out into the world for her own adventure while she still had her youth. For typically by the age of 25 the mushrooms of clan members grew over at least 30% of their body, often growing over a foot in height, with some elders having gigantic mushrooms growing from their back and covering their faces almost entirely.

When she was 16 years old, having mastered most of her clan techniques Sumire felt confident that she would be able to handle the outside world, determined to set forth on a long Journey and vowing to return by her 25th birthday. In that time, she hoped to experience everything she could about the world, pleasures, pains, new cultures and distant lands. She wanted it all. Of course, she would always remember her roots and seek to help and heal others wherever she went, putting her valuable skills to use and hoping that in her 9 years of adventure that she would be able to leave the world a better place. After 2 years of travel through Shrimp continent she moved to Dragon country for a few months before heading to the port to the east of the country in search of crossing the Sea, the young woman found a prime opportunity to travel with a small pirate crew that seemed to be run by a surprisingly friendly and youthful captain and first mate. The first mate in particular Takeda Ichiro caught her attention, learning that the young man was an aspiring healer himself. She took this as a sign from the divine goddesses above and decided to follow him and help him in his pursuits so that together they might experience the world, embark on adventures and heal others whenever possible.
