General Information Age: 24

Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Yashamaru has short brown hair that is left to its own devices, revealing his harsh and angular face. While he lacks any scars, the frown lines and crow's feet at the corners of his lips and ice-blue eyes respectively show he is an emotional man. Frowning, grinning, laughing, screaming. He isn't an emotionless bastard; he enjoys his life and freely shows it in his expressions.
  • Body: While not bulky and overbearing, Yashamaru is noticeably larger than most shinobi. Standing at 6'4", Yashamaru is tall and has the muscle to back up his threats of physical violence, weighing in at 250lbs. His overall size and build make him come across as a bit more 'dashing' compared to his overall style and attire. Yashamaru's natural skin tone is much darker than most other inhabitants of Fire Country, a dark caramel. This is often why so many people tend to make note of his natural attractiveness and 'exotic' nature.
  • Notable Features: Yashamaru's left bicep bears a large tattoo of the symbol of Konohagakure, though it has had another tattoo put over it; a circle with a line through it with the words Like and Hell above and below it respectively. Covering his forearms, left and right, are the tattoos that make up his Pile Bunker storage seal.
Clothing/Accessories: Yashamaru wears very distinctive clothing, looking nothing like one would expect of a traditional shinobi. Thick black boots of leather which come all the up to just below his knees, trapping the baggy black pants he wears from billowing everywhere. Over his chest he wears a sleeveless muscle shirt and an earthy orange coat which is kept held closed around his waist with a dark green sash. When fighting he tends to pull his arms from the sleeves of the coat and lets it fall down around his legs. He still carries around a thigh holster and a hip pouch for carrying around the essential weapons of his trade.

Yashamaru has a large amount of accessories; three silver hoops running down both of his ears and then a silver stud in each lobe along with a bar that crosses the top of both. One his hands he wears five rings, all plain silver bands, on his left ring and index finger, and then his right thumb, middle and pinkie fingers. Hanging around his neck he wears a thick silver chain.

Personality: Yashamaru believes he is the best there is at any given moment and won't stop until the rest of the world knows it. A loss to Yashamaru is a setback; a victory is a stepping-stone; and everything in-between is just a detour. For all of the huff and puff that the man generates, he is every bit as willing to back up what he says without a moment's notice.

Yashamaru is more than willing to listen to people who make anything worth his while, it just so happens that his morals are slightly off based. The finer things in life are what drive Yashamaru. The dream of making the world pay, making a quick buck, and carrying on the legacy that is his greatness are just a few of his fine selling points. On the off occasion someone understands his outlook though, Yashamaru is not so above it all to let them share in the adventure. For the brave and the bold who become his allies, Yashamaru is always willing to protect them and will do everything within his power to accommodate them should the need arise.

As a person Yashamaru is reckless, harsh, caring, and always willing to make sure that everyone knows where he stands before things go crazy. The idea of 'reading him like a book' is something that anyone who's ever met him can admit to. This also makes him very harsh towards traitors and people who would mistake his 'acts of kindness' as a symbol of weakness. At his core Yashamaru is a rogue for a reason, something that he is quick to remind the less than accepting rivals of without a moment's notice.

Pile BunkerShow
A large 'gauntlet', the Pile Bunker takes up the entirety of Yashamaru's forearm with a handle that doubles as a trigger and a large canister sitting atop it. Within the canister is a spring loaded 1' long metal pike. The blade of the pike sits outside the canister and can be used as an arm-mounted bladed weapon on its own, giving about 2" of extra reach on his punches. However, if the trigger is pulled while Yashamaru is punching, the pike will be launched forward with force equal to his Strength, stopping when it is fully extended. The pike must be manually reloaded by letting go of the trigger and then jerking his arm backwards, locking it back into place. The entire system requires a strength of at least 35 to break.

Asphalt Style:
Yashamaru utilizes Asphalt, a variation on the Mud Concentration making it black instead of brown, which is composed of Suiton and Doton. Asphalt style has a clogging effect; where it passively wraps around things, or fills empty spaces, and then sticks with 1/2 the strength of the jutsu.
Doton:
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the doton affinity. Doton has a passive enduring effect.
Suiton:
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the suiton affinity. Suiton has an enveloping effect.
Storage & Force Fuuinjutsu:
This user is able to utilize Storage Fuuinjutsu and Force Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Storage or Force Classification. After performing the necessary hand seals, Yashamaru stomps on the ground and raise a 2x2x1m wall of flowing asphalt at a speed of 2 and a strength of 8. Anything that touches the wall without having enough force to break it will get covered in a layer of the asphalt, clinging to them with 4 strength. The wall lasts for 3 posts.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Yashamaru punches forward as he channels chakra through his fist, resulting in a fist of asphalt being sent forward at a speed equal to his strength. Rather than having a direct impact, this fist opens just before collision and latches onto whatever it was about to hit, sacrificing direct impact to increase its adhesive effect; weighing down whatever is captured with 5 Strength.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Yashamaru will spit out a sphere of compressed asphalt into his hand. When thrown, the sphere explodes on impact with a 1m3 blast radius and 5 strength. Anything within the field will be weighed down as if with 2.5 strength.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Yashamaru place his hand against the ground, spreading his chakra out to cover a 1m3 of earth. When someone other than Yashamaru steps on the marked area within the next 3 posts, it turns into a pit of asphalt at a speed of 4 and clings onto people caught within it with 6 strength. If they manage to escape the pit, bits of asphalt will still cling to them as if weighing them down with 3 strength. This pit lasts for 3 posts before fading.

The fountain sprays asphalt for 3 posts, covering a 3m area around it. Those touched by the fountain will have sticky asphalt stuck to them, weighing them down as if with 8 strength.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Yashmaru will spit out a mass of asphalt that forms into a clone. This clone is incapable of jutsu, however whenever it makes contact a portion of its mass will be consumed to leave an amount of asphalt on the target that weighs it down as if with 4 strength.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Yashamaru will spit out a concentrated stream of asphalt 2m in diameter. This stream travels at 10 speed, impacts with 10 strength and is capable of pushing those without the necessary strength to resist backwards. Yashamaru can maintain this stream for 3 posts, freely controlling its direction by moving his head. Any asphalt that covers a target will cling to them with 5 strength. Being held under the technique for multiple posts is classified as being hit with the technique multiple times, allowing the asphalt to stack.

B-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, Yashamaru will spit out a 1m wide globe of concentrated asphalt which travels in a straight line at a speed of 20. On impact the sphere explodes with 20 strength in an 8m3 wave of asphalt. Those caught within the range of the asphalt will be covered in a layer of it which clings to them as if being weighed down by 10 strength.

A-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, Yashamaru will slap his hand to the ground and focus his chakra into a point up to 50m away from him. The earth at that point will turn into a 5x5x1m area of asphalt. This zone expands at a speed of 20 over the course of the next three posts until it reaches 20x20x4m. Anyone caught in the asphalt will be sucked down with a strength of 30, requiring more than that to break free. The [Basic Jutsu • Act of Water Surface Walking] is ineffective against the asphalt, as the inherent chakra within cancels out the chakra used to walk along the surface. After expanding for 3 posts, it will remain for a further 2 posts at which point the asphalt will eject anything within it and return to its natural earthen state. Those that are ejected or manage to escape the asphalt pit will be covered in a layer of asphalt that weighs them down as if with 15 strength.

S-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, Yashamaru will place his hands on the ground. A wave of asphalt will rise up in all directions around him, 15m high, which travels at a speed of 30 until it covers a 50m radius. Those caught within the wave will be forced to the ground with 40 strength for 3 posts unless they are capable of resisting it. The asphalt continues to keep weighing down anything caught within it after the initial 3 posts, though only for 20 strength.

Developed for clandestine operations originally, instead of using ink and paper, the user draws a seal onto their body the size of the item they are sealing into their body. Upon doing a set of hand seals, the user then slides the item into the tattoo and performs a second seal, causing the seal to go dormant. When kai'd the seal releases the stored item.

D-Rank Storage Fuuinjutsu
After drawing a seal formula on a surface, appropriate in size to the weapon being sealed but no larger than 3x9 inches, the user forms the needed hand seals then may place as many of that singular object into the scroll as desired. When done, the user performs another set of hand seals and touches the seal closing it off as the seal condenses to the shape of the object stored. This seal is the only known sealing applications that allows depth storage and unfortunately this cannot be done at larger sizes. Tools can only be released at a maximum of 10 at a time, and are released with zero force.

By tattooing a seal over the entirety of his left and right forearms, Yashamaru seals his Pile Bunker into one of them. The seals are linked in such a way that depending on which seal is kai'd, that is the arm his Pile Bunker will appear on.

Bone Breaker Style:
Bone Breaker Style was created by shinobi in order to disable another fighter quickly in a fight to prevent them from utilizing limbs, and weathering the opponent down by short powerful strikes aimed at weak spots in the skeletal structure to fracture or break entirely. The style is strongly based off the strength and taijutsu skill of the user. If a user is strong they can snap bones easily, but if they are uncoordinated the style is essentially useless, same if it was the other way around, a weak person cannot snap bones no matter how well they're coordinated. The style is an utterly brute and ruthless one used to typical lethally injure or disable an opponent for other means.

D-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Fault Line creates a hairline fracture on the limb it's used on which causes annoying pain to the opponent when they attempt to utilize the limb. If the opponent continues to try to utilize the limb further it can end up straining it very badly, turning the hairline fracture into a full severe fracture. The user must have a higher Strength than the opponent's (Strength+Stamina)/2 to be successful with this jutsu if it lands.

D-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
This taijutsu utilizes the weaker spot of the fibula in the calf to snap the soft bone to create intense pain in their calf; making the target unable to stand else they create immense pain on the damaged leg. The user must have a higher Strength than the opponents (Strength+Stamina)/2 to be successful with this jutsu if it lands.

[Right in the Sniffer]
D-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
The user positions themselves in a fighting stance and performs a quick jab with their dominating hand, striking their opponents nose attempting to break the cartilage. If successful this can cause immense pain and hampering their sense of smell as it fills with blood. The user must have a higher Strength than the opponents (Strength+Stamina)/2 to be successful with this jutsu if it lands.

[Drunk Goggles]
D-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
The user claps their opponent's ear with the palm of their hand, swinging wide to gather as much force as possible before smashing it causing bleeding and a ringing sensation in the opponent's ear. This also causes an influx of pressure in their ear canal making the opponent off balance. It will create a painful ringing, unbalance, and hamper their hearing. The user must have a higher Strength than the opponents (Strength+Stamina)/2 to be successful with this jutsu if it lands.

C-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
The user throws an uppercut, right hook, or left hook attempting to dislocate the opponents jaw. The user will twist on the ball of their foot to add in some extra force to the strike. The opponents jaw will dislocate causing them to be unable to speak, and unable to move their jaw. It will also cause immense pain, and swelling. The user must have a higher Strength than the opponents (Strength+Stamina)/2 to be successful with this jutsu if it lands.

C-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
The user throws a punch aimed for the stomach, specifically the solar plexus. If it lands successfully the target will double over, allowing the user to deliver a secondary punch to drive them into the ground. The user must have a higher Strength than the opponents (Strength+Stamina)/2 to be successful with this jutsu if it lands.

[Humorous Humerus]
C-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
The user delivers an open palm strike to the opponent's humerus attempting to break it clean in half with all their might to make the arm entirely unusable. This causes the opponent unable to move the afflicted arm or perform hand seals. The opponent will feel immense pain in their injured arm, and will have trouble moving the arm further than the shoulder. The user must have more Strength than the opponents (Strength+Stamina)/2 to be successful with this jutsu if it lands.
B-Rank:
[Cage Breaker]
B-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
The user dodges an opponent's strike by crouching below it and upper cuts the opponent's chest with an open palm strike to their lower rib cage with all their strength in an attempt to break the lower ribs to debilitate the opponents breathing. This strike if successful and acted upon with full power causes the opponent to become short of breath, and possibly cause bones to put pressure on their opponent's lungs furthering their inhibition to breath. The user must have more Strength than the opponents (Strength+Stamina)/2 to be successful with this jutsu if it lands.

[Last Leg]
B-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
The user swipes underneath their opponent's feet causing an unbalance, and grabs either their left or right leg firmly grasping around their knee. The user then brings down their free arm's elbow on the opponent's femur, breaking it in two in an instant. This causes extreme unbearable pain, and causes their opponent to be crippled in the afflicted leg. The user must have more Strength than the opponents (Strength+Stamina)/2 to be successful with this jutsu if it lands.

[Bone Shaker]
A-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The user lowers into a rigid stance, tensing their upper body, especially their arm muscles. So long as they remain so tense, the user's blows will generate a noticeable shockwave on impact, spreading the force of their punches over a 1m radius instead of focusing their entire strength into a single point. When used against living beings, the shockwave travels in such a method that their bones literally shake, creating hairline fractures on any bones around the point of impact and turning any hairline fractures into complete breaks. The user can only maintain this stance for (stamina/5) posts before the tension starts causing hairline fractures in their own arms.

Ever since he was young, Yashamaru has always been obsessed with money. The bastard son of a going nowhere Chuunin and a prostitute originally hailing from Lightning Country, Yashamaru grew up with nothing. His mother was hardly around and his father, when he wasn't black out drunk, tried to teach him to fight like a ninja. Tried being the keyword. So Yashamaru raised himself for the most part. He took to brawling and getting in with the criminal element of Konoha early. He was big so in spite of his age he made a good enforcer for keeping the street kids in line. He made a little money and most of it went towards his father's drinking or new make up for his mother. He barely saw a dime.

Entering the academy hadn't been his choice. Pressured into it by his old man, Yashamaru skipped class more often than not in order to go about his juvenile delinquent ways. After a few months one of his instructors caught him roughing up some teenager for not handing over his money. Yashamaru was given two options by the kindly man. Give up his life of crime, attend the academy and maintain a spotless record for the next six months, and he wouldn't be turned over to the authorities. Naturally Yashamaru started going to class.

He found he actually enjoyed the training they went through when he applied himself. Oh, the classroom lectures could go to hell, but learning how to fight properly, learning how to use chakra. Those were useful skills to have. And he enjoyed being the best. He wasn't some snot-nosed punk that all these other clan and house kids with their perfect families could look down on. And so Yashamaru proved himself to be the best. He took down anyone who dared stand in his way until he earned the title of Number-One rookie.

It certainly didn't hurt that the pay for missions when he graduated would be a hell of a lot better than roughing over drunks, either.

Of course, when he started making some real money as a Genin, old patterns started to reemerge. All of a sudden his father was drinking even more, his mother had magically reappeared in his life again after having split when he entered the academy. The money he made disappeared, and the village itself always took a fraction of the pay. Or better put, the village itself got paid and he only got a fraction of it, despite him being the one that did all the work. What little he did manage to hide away from his greedy, lazy parents he kept in a nestegg, safely hidden away from anyone that would try to rip him off.

Come the Chuunin exams, Yashamaru did well for himself. He and his team, a couple of midgets compared to the massive Yashamaru, managed to at least fight their opponent to a standstill. They didn't win, but they earned their promotion. Yashamaru was livid at that. He was the best. A conciliation promotion for a draw? The very notion made his blood boil. It should have ended in a clear win. Though he couldn't complain about the extra money that came with taking on higher ranking missions.

Eventually Yashamaru got sick of his parents mooching off his hard work and he moved out of home. Unable to afford a place of his own, he went back to the streets he roamed as a kid and quickly fell back into old habits. Between missions he would run enforcement work for the crooks, extorting money out of shop owners and the like. How they got away with it Yashamaru never found out; he figured the gang must have someone high up in the shinobi corp protecting them.

After his promotion to Special Jounin, a mission went wrong. While he succeeded in retrieving the item he had been ordered to get, he had also spent a little extra time nabbing a few goodies for himself that he could sell later. As a result of his taking a little longer than planned, his team had been caught by security and killed. Yashamaru returned to the village with the bad news and his loot. He was stripped of his loot, the money he should have earned was denied him, and he was put on probation.

Pissed off, Yashamaru went to talk to his bosses in the gang. What he found was they had disappeared. Left the village. And the bastards had taken his nest egg. His small apartment had been tossed over and the scroll he sealed all his money in over the years was gone. Furious at the village, furious at his parents, furious at the world, Yashamaru started to plan. It took a while but he managed to find someone who needed to make a trip out of the village. Someone Yashamaru had worked with before. He extorted the man into putting in a mission request asking for Yashamaru specifically, offering a massive payment; way more than a normal escort mission would normally pay and marked as urgent.

The second Yashamaru and his 'client' were outside the forest that surrounded Konoha, Yashamaru took off. He didn't kill the man, he wasn't a killer. He did rob the bloke blind though.
