Username: Aes Sedai
Ryo: 0/210
Prestige Perks: 1/1 Accountant
Stat Trainings: 0/75
Stat Total: 112
Companions: 0/1
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Height: 5’7’’
Weight: 134 lbs
Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Suzume has long dark hair and yellow eyes. She has no scars or unique markings on her face or head. Her hair is often kept loose, as Suzume has an odd dislike of ponytails and braids, feeling they ‘constrict’ her.
  • Body: Her skin is pale and nearly without scars. Though she has some light freckles down her arms, other than that she doesn’t have much in the way of unique markings. She has some lean muscle from the work she does day to day, but nothing substantial at this point.
  • Notable Features: Suzume has some discolorations on the knuckles on either hand from hand to hand fighting and practice. She also has a large full detail dragon tattoo that covers her back.
Clothing/Accessories: Suzume wears a long pair of pants that are form fitting and tuck into a pair of boots that come up nearly to her knees. Her clothing consists of a backless ensemble that ties up over her shoulders and around the waist to keep it in place. She often wears a large takegasa hat, complete with red ribbons and sometimes tiny bells that make a very small sound.
Personality:
  • General: Suzume is considered to have a brilliant mind, and a quick learner. When she was an orphan her sensei’s always suspected she is a prodigy of some kind given how quickly she takes to both new techniques and information, hunches only confirmed when her father came into her life. She spents as much time as she can learning and almost always had her nose in a scroll or a book of some kind, a habit that has barely changed.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Suzume is considered an oddity, she does not have any hopes or dreams concerning family and instead only has the hope to learn as much as she can, about just about anything she can.
  • Fears: She fears what anyone with a good mind fears, she fears losing that mind and her capacity to learn.
  • Combat Mentality:Often Suzume uses her words to distract her opponent more than anything, but if she must she isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty, or a blade.

Abilities
First AbilityEnsnared in Yomi
Suzume was born with an odd ‘quirk’ in her chakra system. When others try to sense her chakra, either its strength or even its presence, unless their Control equals or exceeds her own, they will be unable to read any of it from her. If their Control does not equal or exceed hers, they will sense her chakra as if she has none. This ability is a passive and is always active, resulting in a permanent -5 control for Suzume. A minor side effect of this ability is black chakra.
Second AbilityYomi's Dearest
In an attempt to grab at power through transformation and corruption, Suzume has found herself 'gifted' with a variation of Earth Grudge Fear (EGF) not unlike her father's. Her body has been transformed, organs replaced with black tendrils, and what little flesh is left looks stitched together. The corners of her mouth look as if they were ripped open and stitched back together, the flesh on her back looking stretched out and stitched back into place, though her heart remains in her chest, acting as a core would to an elemental body. As a result of this ability Suzume has lost access to any elemental based affinities.
Third AbilityN/A
Concentrations
NinjutsuSensory
Sensors are shinobi who are able to activate a sixth sense which can locate and read chakra sources. Sensory is advantageous as it allows shinobi to perceive without using any of their conventional senses, which can easily be deceived. Sensors are able to collect a lot of information through the interpretation of this sixth sense.

Iijutsu
This concentration allows for the user to user chakra to affect the biological processes of a living creature. This includes modifying, speeding up, or slowing down the biological processes. Iijutsu is known for it's advanced nature and requires precise chakra control to work effectively. It can be differentiate from normal techniques by the faint light green colour of the chakra used in Iijutsu techniques.

Storage & Force Fuuinjutsu
This user is able to utilize Storage Fuuinjutsu and Force Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Storage or Force Classification. Storage Fuuinjutsu can be used to store supplies, weapons, armor, or anything in between. Force Fuuinjutsu are used to release, counteract, and capture energy.

Charge & Augment Fuuinjutsu
This user is able to utilize Charge & Augment Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Charge & Augment Classification. Charge Fuuinjutsu are used to create jutsu-like effects using seals. Augment Fuuinjutsu are used to enhance or limit the power of whatever they are placed on.

Ranged Fuuinjutsu
By taking this concentration this user is able to use a medium to draw fuuinjutsu from long ranges, allowing them to place fuuinjutsu without being directly in contact with the surface they'd like to place the fuuinjutsu on.

Jikukan Ninjutsu
Practitioners of this art are able to manipulate Space/Time to create localized pockets within either, or both, that they have control over. An extremely advanced form on Ninjutsu, it demands a firm control and complex understanding of the fundamentals of chakra.
TaijutsuDeft Hands
The fundamental skill of [Deft Hands] indicates the user’s proficiency with using their hands in very specific and complex movements, like sleight of hand and targeting very small and specific points on an opponent’s body. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu in various ways.

Basic Jutsu (Learned)Show
[Training]
E Rank:
*[Basic Jutsu • Clone Technique]
E-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing a set of handseals, the user forms a slight chakra 'body', thus creating a single, massless clone. The clone created from this technique is very basic and will dissipate when hit with anything. These clones do not possess vital signs or a unique chakra signature, meaning they don't disrupt the environment, and anything on their person is superficial. The clone has 1 in each stat. They are limited to basic movements.

*[Basic Jutsu • Transformation Technique]
E-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing the needed handseals, the user of this technique will be able to alter their physical appearance to match that of another person. By consistently emitting chakra throughout their body, the user is able to keep their appearance adjusted at the cost of their stamina draining over time. As this technique is quite strenuous to uphold, experienced shinobi may see more clearly through this delusive disguise. This technique lasts for a number of posts equal to that of the user's (stamina/2).

*[Basic Jutsu • Chakra Kai]
E-Ranked Ninjutsu
A jutsu used with the purpose of activating seals and a range of devices and weapons, this technique begins with a single handseal. Once this has been performed, the user will focus a dollop of their chakra into what they are looking to activate in order to complete the task. Seals activated with this technique must be within 20 + (Control/2) meters of the user's position.
D Rank:
*[Basic Jutsu • Act of Tree Climbing]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
By focusing chakra into his/her feet, the user is able to walk up trees and other vertical surfaces in a similar fashion to walking along the ground. This chakra amount must be precise, and although all shinobi learn this technique, the user's control stat will determine how well this jutsu can be executed. Users with low control 2 or lower will often fall during the use of this technique, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's stamina stat.

*[Basic Jutsu • Act of Water Surface Walking]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A variation of the Act of Tree Climbing technique, this jutsu requires the user to focus a precise and balanced amount of charka into the soles of his/her feet. By doing so, the user is able to walk on the surface of water as though it were a solid surface. Users with low control 2 or lower are much more likely to fall through the surface of the water, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's stamina stat.

*[Basic Jutsu • Kai Release]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A rather simple technique that allows the user to escape from a genjutsu. The stat requirements for this technique can be found in the genjutsu rules.

*[Basic Jutsu • Change of Body Stance Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing the necessary handseals, the user is able to quickly substitute his/her body with a nearby object that is at least 2/3rds his/her size, but no bigger than their body. This substitution allows the object to take the force of the attack that was meant for the user, additionally allowing the user to create distance between him/her and the opponent. The object used in this jutsu may not be objects that are imbued with chakra or controlled by it, and they may also only be single, solid objects within a 20 metre radius of the user. This technique may only be used a total of one time in a single thread, give or take how many times Shunshin no Jutsu has already been used.
SensoryShow
D Rank:
*[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: 10 Control
This sensor jutsu is used by shinobi to feel chakra sources within a radius of 25 meters. While this jutsu is fairly helpful in sensing chakra, it is unable to actually pinpoint specific chakras outside of 10 feet. This only gives the Shinobi an idea of how many entities with chakra are present in their general area.

*[Sensory Style • Evaluation]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses]
The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and then do an additional set of hand seals. By doing so, the user will be able to compare the “strength” of each source of chakra they are able to sense to each other. The “strength” of the individual is determined by the average of each person’s Chakra Pool, Control and Strength stats. The user can determine who has more chakra strength than others, allowing them to pick out possible risks. This technique is not very reliable as a determining factor, however.

*[Sensory Style • [Target Lock]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses]
The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and focus on one source of chakra they can sense. By doing an additional hand seal, and holding said hand seal, the user will be able to continue to sense that source of chakra, even if they are moving around, so long as they are holding the hand seal. If they, or the chakra source, moves out of range, the user will lose track of them.

*[Sensory Style • Gauge: Speed]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • [Target Lock]
After activating Target Lock, the user will do a second series of hand seals, releasing the single seal for target lock, and then recreate it once finishing the series of seals for the technique. Doing so, the user will know their targets speed with a deviation of 3 points. Meaning if their speed is 17, the user will know its within the range of 14 to 20.

*[Sensory Style • Flare]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses]
The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and then do a second set of hand seals. For the next 5 posts, any time anyone within the range of their sensory activates a jutsu, the user will see their chakra “flare” momentarily. While they won’t know anything about the jutsu, it will give them a better idea of the battle field.
IijutsuShow
D Rank:
*[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Simple in its form yet highly effective in practice, the *[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow] technique allows its users to clear obstructed airways, to perform less extensive CPR, and to give cells the oxygen they crave. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place both over the target's chest (through the back works as well). By allowing the chakra to be channeled throughout the lungs and up through the air ways, any unseen, solid or liquid obstructions will be cleared from these passages and ejected through the mouth, allowing the patient to breathe more easily. Additionally, the hands can be placed over the heart to help oxygenate the body's cells. In this instance, users must be much more careful, as over-oxygenating cells can cause more harm than good. This technique takes the entirety of one post to perform.

*[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
This highly useful field technique is applied to bleeding wounds to help encourage the coagulation of the blood. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot. Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

*[Iijutsu • Skin Separation]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Typically used to make the autopsy process smoother, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Separation] technique separates the skin of the corpse from the underlying muscle. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will slowly move them over the desired area, usually holding them about an inch away from the body itself. As the chakra is channeled through the flesh, it will slowly sink to the final layer of the skin and begin to form a new layer between the skin and the muscle beneath. After this layer has fully formed, the chakra will stay there for four (4) posts, allowing the user to easily separate the flesh and muscle. This non-combat technique cannot be used on living beings as the postmortem physiology is different from that of a living creature.

*[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A relatively simple and handy technique to have at hand, *[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique] is used to alleviate pain caused by burn wounds. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channeled into and around the burn, it cools the area and works to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area. To provide this soothing relief to small areas of first degree burns, it's fairly quick to do. For small areas of second degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. This technique is ineffective when applied to larger areas or burns worse than second degree.

*[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
When traditional stitching supplies aren't available, *[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] truly shines. After performing a short set of handseals, the user will gently place his/her index finger at the base of the patient's wound. Once this is done, the user will lift his/her finger and touch it to the other side of the wound, causing a visible 'stitch' of chakra to appear. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Although precision is key, this technique can still be performed relatively quickly. Small to moderate wounds take very little time to stitch, while large wounds will take one (1) post of work to mend. This technique drains a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attached to in order to keep the stitches going, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. Any intensive or strenuous movements will cause the stitches to break.
C Rank:
*[Iijutsu • False Death]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
This simple ninjutsu is comprised of the user's knowledge of the human body and the ability to mask all vital signs. By focusing chakra throughout the body to preserve its function while in this state, the user can appear to be dead as long as they have chakra to spare. This act can seem very realistic to the untrained opponent, but is foiled by sensor techniques, certain doujutsu and jutsu, and the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] technique.

*[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
Perhaps one of the most important Iijutsu techniques to date, the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] allows its users to probe another's body in search for medical answers. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. Using this chakra as an internal extension of his/her hand to feel for abnormalities and other issues, the user is often able to determine the problem after some time and concentration. In order for a thorough examination to provide sufficient answers, the user will focus for up to one (1) post, seeking signs of internal and external damage, organ malfunction and disease among other ailments. Although skilled medical-nin have the possibility to work faster, skill cannot be substituted in for thoroughness.

*[Iijutsu • Skin Generation]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Often utilized by medical-nin to heal small, superficial wounds or for producing excess skin to use in skin grafts, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique has its number of uses. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel it into a small area of skin cells on the patient's body. This chakra will force the skin cells to multiply at an ample rate by confusing this area of the body into its reconstruction stage that is achieved during slumber. As this is a type of regeneration, users must keep in mind that each cell draws from nutrients in the patient's body, and as such, too much can cause serious harm. In order to regenerate medium-sized areas of superficial wounds, it takes one (1) post of concentration. Areas smaller than this take considerably less time. In the case that the skin sample is separate from the body, the cells can be multiplied more quickly than they could be otherwise. These types of samples are generally use for skin grafts. The *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique can be held for four (4) posts.

*[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
A useful, but particularly taxing technique, the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique] is performed on poisoned patients. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will make a small incision (with a knife, scalpel, etc.) on the patient and then place his/her hands over the new wound. As this chakra is channeled into the body, it extracts the poison out of it and into the user's palm. After one (1) post of the extraction process, the user will remove his/her hand, and place it over a container of some sort (anything that can bear liquid). From here, the liquid poison will be ejected from the hand along with the remaining chakra that was used to extract it. As this chakra interacts with the poison over the course of a second post, its molecules will be rearranged to form the antidote for the poison in question. This works only on C-Rank or lower poisons. The antidote takes a total of three (3) posts to fully rid the body of the poison.

*[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
Formulated to work in conjunction with the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique], *[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure] extends upon the antidote created in the aforementioned technique. Once the antidote has been concocted following the description of the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique], the user will begin to channel additional chakra throughout the antidote to make it especially potent. This increased potency not only rids the body of the C-Rank or lower liquid poison that was in the body over the (3) posts it takes to work, but also induces an immunity in the patient which lasts for seven (7) posts.

*[Iijutsu • Removal Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
In the event that a foreign object gets lodged into a patient's body, such as the point of shuriken or a senbon, the *[Iijutsu • Removal Technique] can be utilized to retrieve it. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them on either side of the wound in question. From here, the medical-nin will carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues by channeling chakra into them, coaxing the foreign object to the surface of the wound in order to extract it. Users of this technique are advised to analyze the severity of the wound beforehand, as more complex wounds will take longer than the one (1) post of concentration needed to extract most objects from superficial to moderate wounds. This technique should be used in conjunction with a tissue regeneration technique or the *[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]. The *[Iijutsu • Removal Technique] can be held for a maximum of four (4) posts.

*[Iijutsu • Burn Treatment]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique]
A step up in the ability to treat burns, *[Iijutsu • Burn Treatment] is used to alleviate pain caused by burn wounds. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channeled into and around the burn, it cools the area and works to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area. To provide this soothing relief to medium-sized areas of first degree and second degree burns, it's fairly quick to do. For small-sized areas of third degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. This technique is ineffective when applied to larger areas or burns worse than third degree.
FuuinjutsuShow
D Rank:
*Charge Fuuinjutsu • Air Seal
D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
A truly unique move in that it can be used alongside other Fuuinjutsu, by channeling into their finger as they draw in the air directly in front of them, the user releases raw chakra the lingers for a small amount of time, allowing it to be used as a seal formula. Alternatively the user can also do hand seals and place their hands forward, causing a seal to burst to life in the air in front of them. This technique consumes chakra equal to the cost of the technique.

*Fuuinjutsu • Removal
D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will hold their hand over a seal, and begin to remove it. This removal will be successful as long as the user has more [Control] than that of which the Fuuinjutsu was sealed with.

*Storage Fuuinjutsu • Tool Storage
D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After drawing a seal formula on a surface, ensuring it is large enough for the object that is about to be stored. The user will then begin placing the object into the seal. The user can only seal objects up to their ([Control]*2)m^3 in size.

*Force Fuuinjutsu • Explosive Tag
D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After drawing a ([Control]/5)x([Control]/5) meter seal formula on a surface of an object. The user will then arm it with their chakra up to [Control] strength with a concussive force explosion outwards from itself.

*Storage Fuuinjutsu • Sealing Defense
D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
By having an empty surface with a seal formula placed on it, the user is able to use the seal as a defensive measure. Holding a single, one-handed hand seal, the user attempts to block the incoming projectile with the surface. Right before contact is actually made, the projectile will be sealed into the seal. While strong, the seal must be the same size or larger than the projectile it is attempting to seal. This seal can protect up to the user’s [Control] in Strength. Once used to seal and then release again, the seal will need to be rewritten. The user can only seal objects up to their ([Control]*2)m^3 in size.

*Charge Fuuinjutsu • Barrier Trap
D-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After placing four barrier tags in a square, the user draws a line connecting each of the tags. When kai'd, all the tags are set off simultaneously throwing up a barrier at a strength and speed of the user’s [Control]. This barrier lasts for 4 posts.
C Rank:
*Storage Fuuinjutsu • Storage Strike
C-Rank Fuuinjutsu
Used in conjunction with storage seals, the user forms the needed hand seals then touches the storage seal causing it to release up to three of the objects stored in it simultaneously, as if they were thrown at a strength of the user’s [Control]. The three objects will be released in a small spread, only a few inches apart from each other.

*Storage Fuuinjutsu • Depth Seal
C-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After drawing a seal of appropriate size for the object but no larger than 1 meter, the user is able to store things at depth within this seal to near limitless lengths. The user is able to store up to [Control]/2 of the same item within this seal regardless of the depth of the surface.

*Augment Fuuinjutsu • Secret Seal
C-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will chant off a list of words, then they’ll then touch the target’s tongue as the seal forms on it. As long as the seal remains on the target's tongue, their ability to speak those words is removed.

*Augment Fuuinjutsu • Strengthen and Enhance
C-Rank Fuuinjutsu
After drawing the necessary seals on the object, the user will imbue the object with a strength equal to their [Control]. The size of this fuuinjutsu is contextual in terms of the object it is applied to and the strength it is enhanced to. For example, if imbued with 50 strength the object will have 90% of its surface space covered, while if only imbued with 25 strength roughly under half of its surface space would be taken up by the seal.

*Augment Fuuinjutsu • Link
C-Rank Fuuinjutsu
By performing the necessary hand seals, the user will then touch their target’s ear and on the lips, this creates an audio link between themselves and any targets they personally place this seal combination on. While hearing is always active, channeling chakra into the seal allows affected targets to speak, their words being stored and transmitted to the other seals. The act of speaking charges negligent chakra.

[Personalized Transformation]
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra through her body, Suzume is able to use this more specialized form of the Transformation Technique to change her appearance to match that which she appeared before she ever attained EGF. This transformation being more reliable than the original Transformation technique, requiring a much more keen eye to see through this disguise. However, this form is insubstantial, and a single attack will dispel the disguise. Lasts for an amount of posts equal to Suzume's (Chakra Pool/2).

[The Thing that Should Not Be]
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra through her body, Suzume is able to use this more specialized form of the Transformation Technique to change her appearance to match her late father's form, Hiraku Kenji. This transformation being more reliable than the original Transformation technique, requiring a much more keen eye to see through this disguise. However, this form is insubstantial, and a single attack will dispel the disguise. Lasts for an amount of posts equal to Suzume's (Chakra Pool/2).

[Bodily Storage]
D-Rank Ninjutsu
Due to Suzume's Tendril body and her lack of organs or muscle, Suzume can use her body to store objects of varying size. By channeling a small amount of chakra within her body, Suzume can absorb something into her body or pull it out by using her tendrils to move the object in question to wherever she wants it to be. This means she can absorb a Kunai into her chest and move it down her arm to her hand, letting it poke out through her skin to be used as a weapon.

[Tendril Reattachment: Arms]
D-Rank Ninjutsu
Channeling a small amount of chakra through the tendrils within her body, Suzume will extend tendrils out from her body towards a recently severed arm. This severed arm must be clearly discernible as an arm; if it is too badly damaged, this technique will not function. Using the tendrils, which move at a speed equal to her control, she will attempt to reconnect her severed arm to her body. The max range for this reconnection is 10 meters and takes 3 posts to complete.

[Tendril Reattachment: Legs]
D-Rank Ninjutsu
Channeling a small amount of chakra through the tendrils within her body, Suzume will extend tendrils out from her body towards a recently severed leg. This severed leg must be clearly discernible as a leg; if it is too badly damaged, this technique will not function. Using the tendrils, which move at a speed equal to her control, she will attempt to reconnect her severed leg to her body. The max range for this reconnection is 10 meters and takes 3 posts to complete.

Yoshin Style KenjutsuShow
Yoshin Style:
]Waterfall Country's samurai are the creators of Yoshin, a style of Kenjutsu honing one's precision to strike more precisely than any needle or arrow at the enemy's inherent weaknesses. The human body is full of natural weak spots and vulnerabilities, and Yoshin takes full advantage of those weaknesses in combat with calculated, precise, intelligent strikes and thrusts to cripple and cut down their opponent. Common joints, unseen nerve endings and nerve clusters, critical tendons and muscle groups, and even vital organs are all fair game to the users of Yoshin. The precision required for this style causes most users of its techniques to prefer short blades such as kodachi and wakizashi, often with serrated edges to maximize damage on the blade exiting the wound, though katana can still be used with this style.

Requires: [Deft Hands], [Sword Weapons], [Medicine] Concentrations.
D Rank:
*[Yoshin • Prey's Anatomy]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Detailed knowledge of the human body's vulnerabilities and weaknesses are fundamental to learning Yoshin. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge of the precise location of all major organs, tendons, blood vessels, and nerve clusters on both their body and the opponent's body. This allows the practitioner to accurately target those areas even in the heat of combat.

*[Yoshin • Ambidexterity]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This extends to other methods of combat or simple everyday life as well.

*[Yoshin • Hidden Trap]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
After taking the opponent's side either offensively or after evading an attack, the practitioner draws a quick, firm slash across the opponent's side, such as their oblique, rib cage, or arm. The attack is intended to both injure and startle the opponent, often used to disrupt an opponent's attack or sequence of attacks with the severity of the damage. A unique attack within Yoshin, this particular technique is meant to dig as deeply into the opponent and create cuts as wide as possible, many times slashing into bones to cause as much long term damage as possible. The depth and width of the cut can also cause serious blood loss over time. Opponents with an Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank can limit the amount of damage this technique causes.

*[Yoshin • Track the Prey]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A somewhat risky technique, the practitioner steps in aggressively for a split moment as a feint. The offensive nature of this feint is meant to prompt the opponent to reflexively block or dodge. The practitioner then follows this dodge and attacks the opponent with a slash or thrust, typically targeting a specific tendon, organ, joint, or nerve cluster.

*[Yoshin • Break the Antlers]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
With a very quick snapping slash or thrust, the practitioner attacks the back of the opponent's weapon-wielding hand or hands. Opponents hit by this technique must have an Endurance equal to or higher than the practitioner's Speed to avoid being disarmed or losing the use of the affected hand until the end of their next post. This technique is only useful for short term debilitation of the hands and cannot cause any significant long term damage on its own.

*[Yoshin • Whip Snare]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Forgoing the typical practice of aiming one's blows to do the most critical damage possible, the practitioner instead lashes out at the opponent with a quick snapping slash or thrust. If the attack lands, the practitioner curves and angles the edge of their blade along the cut, making a shallower, irregular cut. While these cuts rarely cause any serious damage on their own, the nature of the cut not only make them difficult to mend or stitch, they also contribute to significant blood loss over time and are incredibly painful for the opponent. This can make moving and executing techniques more difficult for an opponent hit by this technique unless they have an Endurance equal to or higher than the practitioner's Speed.

*[Yoshin • Glancing Arrow]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Aiming to hinder the opponent's mobility, the practitioner launches a quick snapping slash or thrust at the side of one of the opponent's knees, damaging the tendon and causing the muscles in the joint to flare up. Aside from causing significant pain, an opponent hit by this technique will not be able to fully support their weight on the targeted leg, hindering their mobility and creating additional openings for the practitioner to exploit unless they have an Endurance equal to or higher than the practitioner's Speed.

*[Yoshin • Burrowed Arrowhead]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Yoshin • Prey's Anatomy]
Looking to cause the opponent as much pain as possible with minimal energy or effort, the practitioner launches a quickly snapping thrust meant to slip through the ribcage and lightly cut the outside of one of the opponent's lungs. Aside from causing significant pain, an opponent hit by this technique will have difficulty breathing, causing future techniques they use to take up more Endurance due to oxygen deprivation.
C Rank:
*[Yoshin • Skinning the Corpse]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Yoshin • Prey's Anatomy].
Exceptional Yoshin practitioners move beyond the basic knowledge of the body and delve more deeply into the study of the body. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge of the precise location of all major and minor joints and tendons and all smaller nerve clusters on both their body and the opponent's body. This allows the practitioner to accurately target those areas even in the heat of combat.

*[Yoshin • Cripple the Paw]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Moving in close to the opponent, the practitioner launches a series of quick, snapping slashes and thrusts to the opponent's hands, causing deep lacerations. These cuts damage the tendons in the opponent's hands, interfering with their dexterity. These cuts cover sensitive areas between the fingers, knuckle joints, or even potentially under fingernails. While the damage caused by this technique is not life-threatening, it imposes a persisting -3 Endurance penalty on the opponent, as well as making it incredibly painful, if not impossible, for the opponent to wield a weapon with their hand or hands. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

*[Yoshin • Shatter the Hoof]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A technique to disarm opponents, the practitioner launches a snapping slash or thrust at the opponent's forearm, severing several key tendons in the forearm. The damage caused to the muscles and tendons in the forearm by this technique can cause an opponent to drop whatever they are holding. Aside from being disarmed and causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Strength penalty on the opponent due to the damage the muscles have sustained. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

*[Yoshin • Bear Trap]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Dropping low to the ground, the practitioner launches a quick, wide slash to the front of the opponent's shins. The cut targets a long nerve across the front of the shin which, if cut, can restrict the opponent's movements. Considering the size of the nerve being targeted and the relatively thin skin covering it, even cuts that only graze these nerves can be effective. Aside from causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Speed penalty on the opponent due to movement of the legs becoming more difficult. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

*[Yoshin • Incurvate Arrow]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Targeting the opponents torso and abdomen, the practitioner launches a series of quick snapping slashes. These lashes produce a series of evenly spaced cuts across the target's abdomen and torso. While these cuts are not life-threatening, the damaged muscles prohibit the opponent from fully drawing strength from their core and back into their limbs. Aside from causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Endurance penalty on the opponent due to the damage the muscles have sustained. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

*[Yoshin • Sever the Tendon]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Dropping low to the ground and hooking their blade around the back of an opponent's ankle, the practitioner draws a heavy slash against the ankle's tendon, immediately causing a jolt of intense pain. The pain causes even the slightest step to send shocks of pain through the nerve. Aside from causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Speed penalty on the opponent due to being unable to place weight upon the foot. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.
Bone Breaker TaijutsuShow
Bone Breaker:
Bone Breaker Style was created by shinobi in order to disable another fighter quickly in a fight to prevent them from utilizing limbs, and weathering the opponent down by short powerful strikes aimed at weak spots in the skeletal structure to fracture or break entirely. The style is strongly based off the strength and skill of the user. If a user is strong they can snap bones easily, but if they are uncoordinated the style is essentially useless, same if it was the other way around, a weak person cannot snap bones no matter how well they're coordinated. The style is an utterly brute and ruthless one used to typical lethally injure or disable an opponent for other means.
Requires a Minimum of 5 Strength
Requires CQC and Medicine Concentrations
D Rank:
*Fault Line
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner throws a palm strike towards an opponents leg utilizing all their momentum and force by swinging their shoulders and hips, targeting the opponent's thigh. Landing this strike causes immense discomfort and a hairline fracture in one of the bones, and if the opponent continues to heavily use and strain the targeted leg, the hairline fracture can degrade into a full severe fracture. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*Quaker
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver

The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*Stop Pointing
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
This technique requires the practitioner to get close and personal, grabbing the opponent and forcing them into an armbar. This prevents the opponent from forming handseals unless they relocate their fingers or mend the bone breakage. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*Drunk Goggles
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner claps their opponent's ear with the palm of their hand, swinging wide to gather as much force as possible before the strike. This causes bleeding and a ringing sensation in the opponent's ear, hampering their ability to hear properly. This also causes an influx of pressure in the opponent's ear canal, compromising the opponent's balance. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*Right in the Sniffer
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner positions themselves in a fighting stance and performs a quick jab with their dominant hand striking their opponent's nose in an attempt to break the cartilage. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.
C Rank:
*Radius Locator
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Pre-Requisite: 10 strength

This strike cleanly breaks the opponent's radius bone in two pieces. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*Look Over There
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner throws a hooking punch into the side of their opponent's face around the orbit socket, twisting on the ball of their foot to add some extra force to the strike. Making contact with the blow will cause bleeding and swelling in the opponent's afflicted eye, making them go temporarily blind in the targeted eye until they receive medical attention. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*Pelvis Grinder
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
The practitioner grabs the opponent by the shoulders and attempts to drive their knee ininto the opponent's pelvis full-force, using the hard part of their knee cause a localized fracture. This fracture inhibits the opponent's ability to sprint or run, and it causes them to stand at an awkward angle, inhibiting their ability to stand in a stable fighting position. It also causes the opponent to be off-balance as they attempt to relieve the pain by putting more pressure into their knees. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*Spinal Chipper
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Strength
The practitioner approaches behind the opponent or slides behind them before crouching low to the ground. Supporting themselves with their hands, the practitioner delivers a powerful kick to the opponent's spinal cord, attempting to fracture their spinal disks. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*This is a Library
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength

The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*Knee Bender
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
The practitioner closes in and delivers a powerful snap kick to the opponent's knee, attempting to bend it completely backwards, dislocating it or breaking the joint outright. This causes the opponent unable to stand on the afflicted leg without struggling to balance themselves. This also causes immense pain in the opponent's joint, making the injury hard to heal naturally. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*Humorous Humerus
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength

Suzume was born in a rather small community, and immediately left at a dojo that was well known for helping out and keeping orphans when no one else could. Who her parents are is unknown, and where they are is unknown as well. The only thing that’s known is that her mother was a redhead who seemed to be completely task oriented. She stayed at the dojo when she took ill and was found to be pregnant, shortly after going into labor. But after she had the child she took no interest in her, even leaving her there in the middle of the night, never to be seen again.

Suzume was raised at the dojo, spending time with other orphans as ‘siblings’ and learning what she could of Yoshin, as well as the hand to hand style of Bone Breaker. She began her studies by the age of five, and spent her morning chores in the gardens of the dojo, helping to raise the very food she and the others ate. She seems to spend her days in quiet, living at the dojo still and learning something new every day. Though sometimes picked on by the boys at the dojo, she’s known for always getting her revenge and so its often only newer residents who get dumb enough to pick on her anymore. Yet like many young samurai before her, she has a curiosity that she feels is calling her to travel, and to learn.

Naturally there came a time when her world was turned upside down. A strange visitor came by the name of Hiraku Kenji. He only spent a day or so at the commune that Suzume called home, but over time it became clear who the man was to her. During his stay she simply found him, as a powerful shinobi, fascinating and spent much of her time asking him questions. Of course the man figured out rather quickly that this girl was actually his daughter, born as a result of his first redezvous with the woman who was once his lover, Enkouten Akane, in Iron Country. He did not plan on telling Suzume the truth, and instead planned on leaving her in her peaceful life away from his world of violence. Yet the world gave him no choice. The day he left a group came looking for him, led by the once hunter now turned missing ninja Kintaro, who had gone missing ninja in his desire for revenge on Kenji. Suzume’s sensei sent her after Kenji for protection and it was only then that she learned the truth of her own lineage.

For years she would travel with her father, often under his watchful eye though she was also well known for slipping his notice and travelling on her own. Once such incident ended up with her accidentally stumbling upon Konoha’s forests and being escorted inside her borders. She spent a couple of days there, even meeting a boy she wound up falling for. Alas the world had to continue, and for the safety of Konoha she had to return to her father and could not stay. She returned to him, by this point having learned so much about her own parents that she honestly blamed him for the death of her mother, no matter what he did to try and change her mind.

Suzume was with her father the day he died, rumors flying that he tried to defy the laws of chakra and paid dearly for his mistake, other rumors also flying that the young girl had something to do with his demise although nothing has been confirmed one way or another. Finally free of her father’s hold, Suzume now and finally knows who she is, where she comes from, and seeks now only to figure out where she wants to go with her own life.

In her search for her own path, she came across a man named Asura who had the ability to mutate others. As he spoke of it as a blessing of his god, Suzume thought it might be a way for her to gain some kind of new power that would allow her to have a strength that would help her exceed her father and keep control of his built empire. However the gift she received instead was that of her father's... Earth Grudge Fear.

Yoshin - TaijutsuShow
Yoshin Kenjutsu:
Waterfall Country's samurai are the creators of Yoshin, a style of Kenjutsu honing one's precision to strike more precisely than any needle or arrow at the enemy's inherent weaknesses.

D Rank:

This allows the practitioner to accurately target those areas even in the heat of combat.

*[Yoshin • Ambidexterity]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline

While in this state, the practitioner can unnaturally twist, bend, and shift their body around the opponent's attacks, seeming to move like an animal as they painlessly and seamlessly contort their bodies, even to the point of freely dislocating and relocating joints on command. The practitioner also gains the ability to reflexively shift all internal organs, blood vessels, and nerve points and nerve clusters on their body to avoid serious damage and minimize pain they receive upon taking an enemy attack or upon quickly shifting any part of their personal anatomy. Additionally, the practitioner gains the ability to immediately start healing wounds they receive, cutting the blood loss in half and healing at an enhanced rate while in this Stance. This Stance can be maintained for an indefinite period of time.

History Airi Rina grew up in Iron Country with a family friend. She was always told the woman who raised her was a friend of her mother's, not her actual mother, but little else. It wasn't until she was closer to the age of fifteen that she was told her mother was a woman who had a tendency to care for others above herself, a woman named Kotone. That Rina had been stashed away for her own safety in the interest of protecting her from enemies her mother had made in efforts to protect others. Of course, that didn't make Rina love her, learning that her mother had sacrificed her to save others hardly made her happy. The hardest part was to find out that her mother died before she could meet her only caused Rina to run away from the only home she had ever known.

The time after she ran away from home was hard, culminating in her nearly losing her life. Only six months ago she nearly died in a fight and was left by her assailants on the side of the road for dead. But she was found by Hiraku Suzume and patched up, taken to a dojo nearby in Waterfall Country where Suzume had made friends in the past. Suzume helped Rina get healed up and set her up with someone to help her not only heal, but learn further on her Yoshin studies than Suzume herself could ever teach her.

Once Rina was fully healed, and felt she was more properly trained and ready to set out once more, Rina went in search of Suzume once more.
