Physical Features
Donning a pale and clear complexion, through the miracles of iijutsu, Yato is a conventionally beautiful man with nearly perfect proportions. However, this does not mean he looks approachable or amiable in any right--in fact, his case is the complete opposite: with eyes of black sclera and vibrant violet iris, he looks more demonic than he does human. His hair is disheveled, and platinum, nearly seeming to blend in with his porcelain skin tone as it drapes over his eyes and hides his facial features. Though not bulky in muscle, he has a distinct muscle tone that can only be marked by years of vigorous training and application of said muscles. His body is scarred everywhere underneath his clothes from his neck down due to experimentation on his body from a young age.

Clothing/Accessories
Yato covers his entire body in a black hooded robe that drapes down to the tops of his ankles. Underneath the robe is a lightweight black sleeveless shirt and black shorts. He accompanies this with lightweight black sandals.

Personality
Yato is a humanist on the dark side: someone hopelessly in love with cruelty, savagery and all the worst aspects of human nature with no qualms about witnessing or causing others' suffering. He has the ability to manipulate people to do his bidding, possessing both uncommon charisma and a true gift for persuasive speech. He has no compunction about dealing death to those who either stand in his way or those of whom he has grown tired of.

Good and evil hold no merit in Yato's eyes. There is only the objective truth--his truth. Over time he has conditioned himself to believe that he is a savior who was born to stop mankind from bringing ruin to itself. Disillusioned and absorbed in his own world of thoughts, Yato constantly represses recollections of his past, and has little to no memories of his early life.

Although Yato has a relatively calm demeanor most of the time, he is a dramatic human at heart; his emotions are seemingly volatile, but he has a severe lack of empathy. This may be attributed to the fact that he has trouble distinguishing whether or not his emotions are genuine, and he often forces emotive responses just so he can 'feel human'. This expressive conflict is paramount to his personality, and is a trait that often causes the forces of logic and humanhood to clash within him.

He holds a strong hatred for the organization of the world in its current state: the ideologies of class structure, government, and society are nonsensical to Yato, who operates under a doctrine that the world is turning its citizens into non-thinking followers, instead of independent thinking human beings. Because of this sentiment, Yato seeks to destroy the structure of society itself.
  • Combat Mentality: There are occasions in which Yato will become entertained and purposely stretch the fight as long as he possibly can to torment his foes, and there are occasions in which he will aim to instantly kill the opposition. It all depends on his mood and goals at the time of fighting.

[big][b]Specialty[/b][/big][spoiler=Ninjutsu Specialist]Having devoted his life to mastering the arts of Ninjutsu, Yato is classified as a Ninjutsu Specialist. Ninjutsu specialists are able to devote a total of 10 concentrations to Ninjutsu, unlike most people who are capped at 8. However, they are only able to devote a max of 5 concentrations to Taijutsu, and a max of 5 concentrations to Genjutsu. As a Ninjutsu Specialist, Yato is able to utilize Ninjutsu concentrations reserved for specialists, and is able to enter the God Tier [45+] on select stats, and meaning as a specialist they can select stats to break into the God tier. These stats can only be Ninjutsu, Speed, Control, and Instinct. [/spoiler]

Abilities and Concentrations [b]First Ability[/b][spoiler=Kyōkangan]Yato is the progenitor of the Kyōkangan, a genetic mutation that affects both the brain and eyes. It is activated with the maturation and development of chakra. When in a dormant state, the Kyōkangan appears to have a full-black sclera and a white-lavender iris with a black vertical line pupil. When activated, the lavender color becomes more prominent in vibrancy and a wisp of chakra constantly envelops the eye, causing it to appear to glow. The Kyōkangan allows for the ability to perceive the senses of others. When looking at a person/creature/thing that has any kind of sense (visual, auditory, olfactory, kinesthetic, etc.), the Kyōkangan allows the user to see these senses as visible words floating around the source of the sensation--these words, which can potentially cause a lot of visual static, are more opaque when there are less yet more transparent when there are more--this is so that it doesn't inhibit Yato from being able to see things that he needs to see in combat. More prominent factors affecting the sense are seen as larger texts ranging up to 6-inches tall a letter, while less prominent factors are seen as smaller texts, or even not seen at all depending on the level of sensation the target is experiencing for certain factors. Most of the time these are simple nouns or adjectives and gives the user a general idea of what is being sensed--for example, "person", "skunky", etc. Additionally, the user can 'tag' a single person or animal at a time with chakra using jutsu. In doing so, he can surrender his own experience of any of these sense(s) and replace it with that of a 'tagged' individual's sense(s). This does not allow the user to mimic movements and actions but rather feel and understand them. This simply creates a copy of the target's sense(s), thus does not affect the target in any noticeable way.[/spoiler] [b]Second Ability[/b][spoiler=Transcendent Hands]The Transcendent Hands are a set of realistic human hands made by flesh and material collected from carcasses to be used by Yato. These hands do not bleed due to a preservation method and still function completely regardless of any damage, unless the receivers--1 cm cubes that can withstand attacks of a strength equal to the user's control--in the center of each hand is destroyed. While inactive, the hands, made of flesh and such that is unstimulated, are only durable enough that they can withstand 5 strength attacks. But while active, they gain durability that allows them to withstand attacks with a strength equal to the user's control stat. These hands are disembodied and grip him in a type of make-shift rigor until they are actively controlled. Specially designed to be manipulated via custom receivers that are built into these realistic feeling hands and embedded in Yato, these hands are capable of floating when actively in use. The receivers feed his chakra into the hands constantly to keep them passively active so he can control them at a moments notice, incurring a permanent -3 Stamina. Because of the complexity involved in jutsus concerning Transcendent Hands, the pyramid begins at C-Rank, and use of this ability requires the Advanced Channeling concentration. It should be noted that at any time only one pair of hands (be it the artificial ones or his original ones) can form hand seals. The hand areas are as follows (total of 18):[list][*]one located behind each respective knee(upon his calf area for mobility). [*]one on each respective elbow. [*]two covering the left and right sides of his neck as if in a choking fashion. [*]two upon the back of his head. [*]one above each respective shoulder blade. [*]one around each respective bicep. [*]and a pair of double sized hands are located on either side of his torso by his ribs[/list]These 'anchor' points are where the hands are gripping Yato when not in use.[/spoiler] [b]Third Ability[/b][spoiler=Tsukuyomi]Yato constantly leaks chakra from his tenketsu to passively form structures around his body. All structures and creations from this ability and all of Yato's jutsu are visible as black, wispy, flame-like chakra. The passive nature of this ability incurs a stamina deficit of -3 permanently. Jutsu can be used to de-activate and re-activate this ability for any purpose, as well as expand upon its function with the usage of additional chakra, but regardless of whether this is 'active' or not, the stamina deficit is always present, as it is readily available at all times with the use of a single handseal. These structures are unlocked based on his level of control: [b]5 Control[/b]: Yato is granted a thin layer of chakra armor manifested in any appearance he desires--this feature only serves as aesthetic function and does not change the actual functionality of the armor, as the core 'defense' lies in the thin layer that is in direct contact with the body. This armor has a strength of Yato's control, and when damaged, it passively repairs itself. If broken in any areas, this armor regenerates at a rate of [Control / 3] in[sup]2[/sup] per post. [b]15 Control[/b]: Yato seeps a thin, misty layer of chakra a radius of meters equal to his Control stat. This allows for Yato to feel whatever chakra presences are within his zone, at a precise degree, also allows him to gauge their level of chakra and identify chakra signatures as specific entities. This appears as a black mist that follows Yato. [b]25 Control[/b]: Yato gains chakra wings that sprout from his back. Allows for flight restricted by flight rules, at a maximum speed of Yato's control stat. It should be noted that the speed of flight cannot exceed his own speed.[/spoiler]

[b]Ninjutsu (6/10)[/b][spoiler=Iijutsu][color=#008b5e][b]Iijutsu[/b][/color] This concentration allows for the user to user chakra to affect the biological processes of a living creature. This includes modifying, speeding up, or slowing down the biological processes. Iijutsu is known for it's advanced nature and requires precise chakra control to work effectively. It can be differentiate from normal techniques by the faint light green colour of the chakra used in Iijutsu techniques.[/spoiler][spoiler=Advanced Channeling]This user has superb chakra control, and has learned to perform jutsu by channeling, without the use of hand seals. The user can channel any ninjutsu that is designed to be channel, and there are no specified parameters in which a jutsu must fall to be channeled by this method. To get this concentration the user must be a Ninjutsu Specialist, and have picked Control as one of their specialized stats.[/spoiler][spoiler=Storage & Force Fuuinjutsu][color=#444F51][b]Storage & Force Fuuinjutsu[/b][/color] This user is able to utilize Storage Fuuinjutsu and Force Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Storage or Force Classification. Storage Fuuinjutsu can be used to store supplies, weapons, armor, or anything in between. Force Fuuinjutsu are used to release, counteract, and capture energy.[/spoiler][spoiler=Charge Fuuinjutsu][color=#444F51][b]Charge Fuuinjutsu[/b][/color] This user is able to utilize Charge Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Charge Classification. Charge Fuuinjutsu are used to create jutsu like effects out of seals.[/spoiler][spoiler=Augment Fuuinjutsu][color=#444F51][b]Augment Fuuinjutsu[/b][/color] This user is able to utilize Augment Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Augment Classification. Augment Fuuinjutsu are used to enhance or limit the power of whatever it's placed on.[/spoiler][spoiler=Space-Time][color=#666699][b]Jikukan Ninjutsu[/b][/color] Practitioners of this art are able to manipulate [b]Space/Time[/b] to create localized pockets within either, or both, that they have control over. Born into an average family in the village of Konohagakure no Sato, Yato was the son of a couple of humble restaurant owners. An extremely intelligible individual in his own right, Yato had simple ambitions growing up--his dreams consisted of medicine and exploration of life itself. However, his parents had always kept a close eye on him and attempted to keep him sheltered at home, believing that he had some sort of mental issue. Incidents would often occur where Yato would capture neighborhood pets and pin their limbs to the wall before disemboweling them to explore what their insides looked like. His small crimes were never something that came to light, as his parents kept a tight lip for fear of being shamed by other citizens in the village.

Seeing iijutsu as a way to further the advent of knowledge, Yato entered the academy at the young age of 6 and thus began his journey as an aspiring shinobi with a specialty in medicine. Though his personality would have normally been an issue in the way of becoming a shinobi, Yato knew better than to display his true self to the village. After he would attend the academy day by day, Yato would go home and study medicine on his own. The academy's mental and physical trials were a breeze and felt like light work compared to his own private studies of medicine--before he had even graduated, Yato had already memorized many public medical files and encyclopedias. Growing bored of traditional studies, he would often go out and continue with his secret experimentation on wild animals and neighbors' pets. After a year of review Yato had graduated from the academy at the age of 12 with ease, and many of his peers and teachers held the young prodigious shinobi in high esteems. Due to his passion for iijutsu, Yato was assigned to an unorthodox 2-man unit with a man named Muzan, a medical specialist who had similar prodigious origins to Yato.

Muzan's nature was cruel, and he was a man who lived for nothing but discovery. However, as an scientist for the village, he was widely regarded as a genius and his works had helped cultivate many modern concepts of medicine. It didn't take much time at all for the two to begin on missions, many of which were basics missions that concerned the concepts of teamwork and critical thinking. It was during this phase in Yato's life that his kekkei genkai had come into fruition--this caught Muzan's interest, and Yato's life had taken a turn for the dark.

The true function of the two-man team laid in the shadows; without the knowledge or consent of anybody else, the two would experiment on Yato from time to time for the sake of 'scientific progress'. Initially, Yato had volunteered his own body, but as time passed, the intensity of the experiments would become more severe, and eventually the bright young boy had become stained with agonizing experiences that no other child in the village would ever experience. Afraid and victimized, the boy kept quiet about his private experiences with his master.

As time had passed, Yato had become a stronger individual and he and Muzan were given permission to leave the village to go on lower ranking missions away from the village. This was Muzan's chance--he hadn't yet fully committed to the inhumane experiments that he wished to do, and being in a place away from the village granted the perfect opportunity to do so without the risk of getting caught and punished. Yato, knowing full well what was about to happen had devised a plan: as his sensei had left to the restroom, Yato drugged his flask with a copious amount of sleeping medicine. Though any normal jounin would be fooled by such a trick, Yato had always struck Muzan as the thoughtlessly obedient type, and he did not suspect a thing. As Muzan fell asleep, Yato escaped, even further away from the village, afraid of the very organization of society itself. Upon awakening Muzan, flabbergasted that his prized pupil would try to escape, had no choice but to return to the village and give a half-baked story that Yato had died in the field.

Thus began Yato's journey as a nukenin. During his time alone he became a bitter person who grew to hate what he referred to as 'the hivemind' of Konoha--the line between his relationship with his sensei and his relationship with the village dissipated over time and the two were no different. Without the authority of the village to leash his true nature down, his inhibited traits of inhumanity quickly came to light, and he became true to himself.

His experiences as a nukenin varied over time, from committing acts of massacre, to saving people in clinics, to exploring with other individuals who had no place in the world. There was no volition behind his highly volatile actions; everything happened simply because he felt like it.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will coat one of their hairs in chakra. Once this has been done, they will place it on their target. The user can track the exact location of the strand of hair for up to 7 meters. For up to twenty meters out, the user can track a rough location. From then out to 100 meters, the user just gets a general idea of where the opponent is. The chakra in the hair will dissipate at the end of 6 posts.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will focus chakra into their mouths and into up to five senbon within 3 feet of their position. The senbon will be summoned from their persons or nearby into the user's mouth, where they will be spit out aided by chakra at a speed of 6 and strength of 4. The senbon can be shot up to 7 meters away.

After channeling chakra into one of their fists, the user will then attempt to strike their target and if successful, they will release additional concussive force in the form of an outward explosion at D-Rank force from their fist. Once an agreement has been made between the user and their summon, they will be able to use this technique to call upon it at any time unless stated otherwise. The chakra used for this technique varies, as it is dependent on the size and rank of what is being summoned. Once it has been summoned, the user will experience a constant drain on their chakra for as long as the summon is in place. This drain is also dependent on the size and rank of the summon.

After channeling chakra into their body, the user enhances their movement to attack or retreat suddenly, the ninja almost instantly moves up to 20 meters on the ground in a single straight direction. While doing this, the ninja cannot move through anything or anyone, nor can they supplement it with an attack of any kind. After the quick movement has stopped, there is a brief pause where the user must recover from the movement. Even though it's not a full teleportation, this jutsu uses up one of the 2 teleportations a character can use in a single thread.

To prepare for this jutsu, all available hands attach to a target's body from head to toe. After performing handseals, the hands emit waves of chakra that resonates through the enemy's body, causing their brain and nervous system to violently shake. This can last up to 4 posts, at the user's discretion. Depending on the affected target's stamina, they may feel various effects:
  • Those with 1-3 stamina will be knocked unconscious for 2 posts.
  • Those with 4-7 stamina will feel disoriented and dizzy for 2 posts to the point that they will find it difficult to move.
  • Those with 8-10 stamina will feel dizzy and moderately inhibited.
  • Those with more stamina than listed are not affected.

After performing handseals, a single hand rises several meters into the air and shoots a ball of chakra straight up at a strength of 1 and a speed of 19. After reaching its maximum distance of 50 meters, the ball bursts in a harmless, but loud and visible explosion that is meant to alert all those around the area. This can be used a total of three times using three separate hands in a single instance if necessary.

To prepare for this jutsu, 2 hands come into contact with each other by the fingertip. After performing handseals, a thin invisible wire of chakra is created as the hands spread and hold place at a maximum distance of 6 meters. While quite obvious due to the hands' appearance, in forestry or other visually messy areas, this can prove to be an effective tripwire. The tripwire can withstand impact up to a strength of 10 before breaking.

To prepare for this jutsu, all available hands closely surround and follow a single target while facing all facets of the body with their palms. After performing handseals, a flurry of 40 chakra needles are shot out at the enemy from all directions at a speed of 20 and a strength of 20.

To prepare for this jutsu, all available hands closely surround and follow a single target while facing all facets of the body with their palms. After performing handseals, the hands emit 3-inch thick ropes of chakra outward from the palm, which surround the target at a speed of 15. Once the target is surrounded, the ropes constrict inward at a strength of 25, tying the target from head to toe. Those without at least 10 strength cannot withstand this and will be crushed to death.

Assault Command

To prepare for this jutsu, all available hands respectively face toward any specified direction(s), be it a single location or multiple locations. After performing handseals, the hands emit balls of compressed chakra measuring 1cm in diameter at a speed of 20. Upon impact with anything, the balls explode outward at a range of 8m x 8m x 8m and a strength of 20.

The Unseen Hand

After performing the correct hand seals, Transcendent Hands become shrouded in chakra and invisible to the naked eye by allowing the hands to camouflage and appear almost as if they're clear. Because they travel in air, they also make little to no sound, making the hands extremely difficult to detect without any sort of supplemental technique. However, if an enemy has an instinct of 20+, they'll be able to very slightly make out the locations when paying attention. While invisible, Yato can still keep track of the movements as his chakra is tied to each and every hand. This jutsu lasts up to 5 posts

To prepare for this jutsu, all available hands surround Yato outwards in a symmetrical, spherical fashion. After performing handseals, the hands simultaneously emit a shockwave of chakra in all directions outward at a strength of 45, and a speed of 5, pushing any and everything that it possibly can away from the user. This force, feeling like an overwhelmingly unstoppable force to all those who don't have the strength to resist, ends up suspending and launching those affected into the air. The shockwave persists for a distance of 40 meters before petering out.

Kill Command

To prepare for this jutsu, all available hands attach to a single target while facing all facets of the body with their palms. After performing handseals, each hand emits a single jagged saw-toothed blade of chakra at a strength of 45 and a speed of 5, which slowly oscillates upon penetrating the target. During this time, the blades are attached to the hands. The blades, designed to eviscerate the targets organs and nerves, continue for a post duration of 3 turns which allow for a slow and agonizing death.

Using the chakra receivers embedded in his body and the hands, Yato is capable of making the hands move according to his chakra control so long as he focuses on them. Channeling chakra into the receivers allows him manipulate the hands independently of his body. These hands can travel up to [(Ninjutsu + Control)/2] meters from his body. These hands move with a speed and strength both equal to [(Ninjutsu + Control)/2]. Yato must maintain concentration upon these hands to use them, meaning techniques outside of Ninjutsu, Iijutsu, or those dedicated to these hands will cause them to go dormant and return to his body to their proper positions. It should be noted he can only manipulate a number of hands equal to his [Instinct/2.5]. This jutsu does not require the use of handseals. This jutsu is required to be used prior to any other jutsu regarding Transcendent Hands.

Imploding Desecration Death
S-Rank Ninjutsu
Pre-requisite: 40 Ninjutsu, 40 Control
To prepare for this jutsu, Yato must first perform a set of handseals while a Transcendent Hand(s) is in direct contact with an enemy. After doing so, he can choose to channel an enormous amount of chakra into said hand(s), causing an enormous amount of pressure on the enemy's body to implode into a ball of flesh toward the point of contact, before exploding into a mess of guts and blood. Depending on the enemy's strength, they can resist it to an extent.
Less than 30 strength: The enemy instantly implodes inwards into a ball before exploding.
30-35 strength: The enemy's body cripples inwards as their bones are shattered to small shards, and muscle fibers are shredded extensively to the point of near death.

To prepare for this jutsu, Yato must first begin to channel while all available Transcendent Hands spread out evenly in a circular shape that resembles a halo in a diameter up to 2500 feet in size, and aim in a single direction; during this jutsu only, the hands are able to break the distance restriction and move up to 2 miles away from Yato. The channeling takes an entire post to prepare, but afterwards, an enormous amount of chakra is poured out as hundreds of titanic glowing spears of raw chakra erupt from within the circle of the hands and shoot at a speed and strength of 50 in extremely rapid succession at the direction the hands are facing. This technique easily shreds through just about anything it comes into contact with and tears down even village level defenses. These spears are 20 feet thick in diameter and 400 feet long. This lasts a total of 4 posts, which can be cancelled at any point in time.

This allows Yato and whoever he desires to transport themselves instantaneously across vast distances. The rift remains open for a single post, or until Yato and his companions are all through the portal, whichever comes first.

Yato channels chakra, focusing on the area immediately behind him. As he moves, a 20m wide stretch of area behind him will expand at half the rate he's moving, for as far as he travels. This jutsu lasts only for 2 posts, after which the area that was expanded will reduce back to it’s normal size, closing the distance between them. Often times, however, this additional distance can be enough to allow Yato to escape before it’s closed. Because it expands at half the rate they’re moving, anyone or anything within the space is slowed down by half the user’s speed capped at a maximum of 20 speed. (i.e; 40 speed reduces everything by 20 speed).

The space between his current location and target location will rapidly tighten at 25 speed, allowing him to take a single step to cover the distance, then return to normal.

After performing a short set of handseals, the user will gently place his/her index finger at the base of the patient's wound. Once this is done, the user will lift his/her finger and touch it to the other side of the wound, causing a visible 'stitch' of chakra to appear. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Although precision is key, this technique can still be performed relatively quickly. Small to moderate wounds take very little time to stitch, while large wounds will take one (1) post of work to mend. This technique drains a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attached to in order to keep the stitches going, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. Any intensive or strenuous movements will cause the stitches to break.

A simple yet vital medical technique, the *[Iijutsu • Bandage Technique] provides its users with the ability to create makeshift bandages out of any suitable material they desire. After channeling chakra into an object (such as a leaf, piece of cloth, etc.), the user is able to apply it to the wound of a patient. Once applied, the selected object will adhere to the flesh around the wound, protecting it from bacteria and other harmful foreign bodies. Objects used for the bandage technique are automatically sterilized in the process. These bandages drain a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attatched to in order to keep them stuck on, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. While not as effective at stopping bleeding as the [Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] technique, they hold on much better in the case that strenuous movement is necessary.

*[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Simple in its form yet highly effective in practice, the *[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow] technique allows its users to clear obstructed airways, to perform less extensive CPR, and to give cells the oxygen they crave. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place both over the target's chest (through the back works as well). By allowing the chakra to be channeled throughout the lungs and up through the air ways, any unseen, solid or liquid obstructions will be cleared from these passages and ejected through the mouth, allowing the patient to breathe more easily. Additionally, the hands can be placed over the heart to help oxygenate the body's cells. In this instance, users must be much more careful, as over-oxygenating cells can cause more harm than good. This technique takes the entirety of one post to perform.

*[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
This highly useful field technique is applied to bleeding wounds to help encourage the coagulation of the blood. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot. Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

*[Iijutsu • Sterilization Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
As sanitation cannot always be guaranteed in field operations, this technique provides a quick substitute to traditional sterilization methods. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel the chakra throughout his/her upper body (torso, arms, hands, face). This chakra will chew away at harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies on the skin, cleansing it until it is thoroughly sterile, and can be spread to objects, most commonly surgical tools. Of course, this takes both concentration and time, and in order to sterilize the entire upper body, it will take a duration of one (1) post. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead for a lesser concentration period. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.

This act can seem very realistic to the untrained opponent, but is foiled by sensor techniques, certain doujutsu and jutsu, and the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] technique.

Perhaps one of the most important Iijutsu techniques to date, the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] allows its users to probe another's body in search for medical answers. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. Using this chakra as an internal extension of his/her hand to feel for abnormalities and other issues, the user is often able to determine the problem after some time and concentration. In order for a thorough examination to provide sufficient answers, the user will focus for up to one (1) post, seeking signs of internal and external damage, organ malfunction and disease among other ailments. Although skilled medical-nin have the possibility to work faster, skill cannot be substituted in for thoroughness.

*[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: User's averaged Instinct and Control stats must be 10 or above
A useful, but particularly taxing technique, the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique] is performed on poisoned patients. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will make a small incision (with a knife, scalpel, etc.) on the patient and then place his/her hands over the new wound. As this chakra is channeled into the body, it extracts the poison out of it and into the user's palm. After one (1) post of the extraction process, the user will remove his/her hand, and place it over a container of some sort (anything that can bear liquid). From here, the liquid poison will be ejected from the hand along with the remaining chakra that was used to extract it. As this chakra interacts with the poison over the course of a second post, its molecules will be rearranged to form the antidote for the poison in question. This works only on C-Rank or lower poisons. The antidote takes a total of three (3) posts to fully rid the body of the poison.

*[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
Formulated to work in conjunction with the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique], *[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure] extends upon the antidote created in the aforementioned technique. Once the antidote has been concocted following the description of the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique], the user will begin to channel additional chakra throughout the antidote to make it especially potent. This increased potency not only rids the body of the C-Rank or lower liquid poison that was in the body over the (3) posts it takes to work, but also induces an immunity in the patient which lasts for seven (7) posts.

*[Iijutsu • Blood Transfer Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
A simple technique that requires its users to sacrifice a little to save a life, the*[Iijutsu • Blood Transfer Technique] does exactly what its name suggests. To prepare for this procedure, the user must make a small incision into the patient's body and follow by opening a vein. Once the vein has been open, the user will begin to channel chakra into it. Over the course of one (1) post, the patient's blood will gain density and stabilize itself. Users of this technique must be aware that their own blood will dilute over the duration of this technique, as it is essentially transferring blood from their bodies to the patient's. No more than 1 liter (2 pints) of blood can be transferred using this technique without severe repercussions for the user.

Although simple to explain, the *[Iijutsu • Bone Regeneration Technique] requires both skill and patience in order to mend the fractured or broken bones of patients. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will begin to channel it through the area of the break or fracture. As this chakra makes contact with the bone, it will stimulate the calcium production of the body and begin to mend the bone. To mend small-to-medium breaks, it takes one (1) post of concentration, while fractures are usually very quick to mend. Multiple breaks can be mended during the use of this technique as it lasts for a total of five (5) posts or until canceled. Users should beware that, like other regenerations of this kind, the nutrient stores of the patient's body are being depleted during its use, and too many uses of this technique in a short span of time can cause serious damage.

By possessing a thorough knowledge of iijutsu as well as facial structure, Yato has learned how to permanently reconstruct faces. Using chakra and his fingers, he keeps extremely steady hands and 'kneads' in order to mold a face. Essentially, using chakra, this jutsu breaks down fibers and bones to a more malleable state in order to change the structure and ultimately how Yato or others look, before using more chakra to hold the structure in place and heal it. This causes an extreme amount of pain and also requires Yato to look at himself during the process to monitor changes if he is administering this technique on himself. This jutsu takes a span of 5 posts to make a proper reconstruction.

An advanced technique that requires both quick reflexes and prediction, the *[Iijutsu • Secret Healing Injury Destruction] technique is highly formidable due to its effects. In the event that the user is aware that they will be hit in a specific place, s/he may attempt to focus chakra into that area before the strike connects. If successful, any damage to the damaged area will immediately begin to regenerate, be it a bruise, small fracture, or a small-to-moderate cut. These wounds can take up to one (1) post to heal fully depending on their size and severity, where fractures and moderate wounds would take the entire post. However, during this regeneration process, users are not rendered immobile and can continue to fight while their wounds regenerate. This technique can only be used a maximum of three (3) times per thread.

*[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm]

Prerequisite: 20 Iijutsu
One of the almighty and most highly coveted abilities of medical-nin, the *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm] technique allows its users to heal wounds quickly and efficiently. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them over the wound in question and begin to channel chakra through it. As the chakra interacts with the cells and tissues in the area, the wound will begin to regenerate and heal over until there's no remnant of it ever being there. Of course, this is not done in the blink of an eye. To heal small-to-moderate wounds, it takes very little time, while large wounds take one (1) post of concentration to mend, and mortal wounds take a total of two (2) posts to fully mend. This technique lasts for four (4) posts, but due to its chakra-extensive nature, users are not advised to treat multiple large wounds in a single use.

A Fuuinjutsu that Yato places on the base of the neck, this seal was made for the purpose of aiding those who need him to free them from a Genjutsu without him needing to be in the fray of combat. By focusing on the seal and activating Chakra Kai, Yato can release someone from an illusion using his own Genjutsu and Instinct stats, each respectively operating at [-5]. This has a maximum range of 30m.

A sealing array designed to be used as a warning system for Yato if any of his other Fūinjutsu are tampered with. Placed either on its own or underneath another seal, if either is tampered with this seal sends a warning to Yato in the form of a pulse of chakra in the back of his mind that lets him know which of his seals has been tampered with. Because the normal seal is above this one, standard methods of unsealing the top seal will not find this one, making it a very tricky seal to truly undo without setting off the alarm. Yato needs to be within a mile of the seal in order to receive the warning.

By understanding the micromovements of the muscles, the small utterances of eye movement, and the ambient sounds of the body, Yato can effectively predict what kind of macro movements (punches, kicks, directions) the tagged individual is going to make. This does not allow for a means of automatic dodging, but does give heed to what sort of movements will be occuring.

Ignorance
A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A discipline that allows Yato to effectively ignore anything that's deemed 'unnecessary' in the fire of combat. Things like pain, fear, visual disturbances, prospects of mental stress, and feints of any degree or form are paid heed but can be ignored and will not inhibit Yato in any manner whatsoever. Effectively, this allows Yato to adapt extremely quickly through any sort of disturbances that aren't pertinent to victory, and don't outright physically inhibit him.

[Tsukuyomi • Disguised God]
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra for a brief duration, all abilities of Tsukuyomi are disabled. This jutsu can be used again to re-enable Tsukuyomi instantly. It is important to note that Tsukuyomi returns in the same state that it was disabled at. For example, if Tsukuyomi's armor was damaged while disabled, it would return damaged when re-enabled. This does not affect the stamina debuff, either. This jutsu is essentially used for the sake of being inconspicuous, as Tsukuyomi's passive state is obnoxiously visible.

[Tsukuyomi • Raw Sense]
B-Rank Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra to the eyes and ears for a brief duration, Yato's sense of sight and hearing are completely deprived from him. During this time, he focuses more on the sensory aspect of Tsukuyomi, allowing him to pin-point on chakra signatures and 'see' the chakra network of anybody within Tsukuyomi's sensory range. While this does not allow him to see tenketsu, it does allow him to 'see' the outline and movements of bodies around him in the wirey shapes of chakra networks. It should be noted that this is not true sight, and more akin to imagery projected to Yato in the mind, so any visual triggers for Genjutsu will not apply to him while this jutsu is active. This lasts for up to 4 posts, but can be cancelled by Yato at any given moment on a whim.

[Iijutsu • Nerve Disruption]
A-Rank Ninjutsu
Requirement: 30 Control
After channeling chakra to his hands or any Transcendent Hand, any hands that have been channeled to are charged with an ample amount of chakra, which lasts for 5 posts or until used. If a charged hand comes into contact with a target, the chakra disperses through the body and targets the brain to disrupt their nervous system, causing a mix-up of motor function. Anybody affected by Nerve Disruption has the use of their limbs scrambled in disarray; for example: if the affected target tries to move their left arm, their right pinky will move instead. Effectively, the more the target tries to move, the more confusing it becomes, and they will essentially fall to the ground twitching and unable to decipher what movement matches their intent. If the affected target has [Taijutsu/Instinct]/2 higher than 30, they can decipher how to properly move within a post. Regardless of whether or not the affected target can properly function, they will additionally suffer a loss of -9 Taijutsu, causing their actions to become clumsier and their coordination to dwindle. This jutsu lasts for 5 posts.

[Iijutsu • Ender]
A-Rank Ninjutsu
Requirements: 30 Control
After channeling chakra to his hands or any Transcendent Hand, for the next post any hands that have been channeled to are charged with an ample amount of chakra, which lasts for 5 posts or until used. If a charged hand comes into contact with a target, the chakra disperses through the body and targets the heart, shredding the muscle fibers and tearing holes into it. Anybody affected by Ender is prone to eventual death unless they receive medical attention. If the affected target has [Strength+Stamina]/2 higher than 30, they can resist the damage, but it will still cause a minor amount of damage that requires eventual medical attention. All debuffs and damage can be reversed with Iijutsu or other supernatural means of healing. The stamina debuff lasts until medical attention is given. The following indicates what happens to those affected by Ender when below the stat threshold for survival:
  • Post 1: Heart arrhythmia and minor internal bleeding. Enemy suffers a -4 debuff to stamina.
  • Post 2: Internal bleeding worsens, and the heartbeat weakens drastically. Enemy suffers a further -4 debuff to stamina.
  • Post 3: The enemy's heart will stop functioning. Unless they have other means of surviving, or receive medical attention prior to this point, they will die, unless their (Strength+Stamina)/2 is higher than 30. If the enemy is alive, they will receive a further -4 debuff to stamina.
[Iijutsu • Grand Mystical Field]
S-Rank Ninjutsu
Requirement: 40 Control
After channeling, a sphere of healing chakra expands from Yato's body out to a variable distance up to a 50 meter radius. This spherical zone of chakra is visible to the naked eye, and indiscriminate in who it affects. All within the field have all injuries healed at the same rate healing small to moderate wounds within a single post, and mortal wounds over 2 posts. This lasts for as long as Yato chooses to stay focused on this jutsu, up to a maximum of 3 posts, and has a cooldown equivalent to the duration used.

[Iijutsu • Unkillable]
S-Rank Ninjutsu
Requirements: *[Iijutsu • Secret Healing Injury Destruction],
An advanced version of *[Iijutsu • Secret Healing Injury Destruction], this technique functions in the same manner for the most part. Should Yato be aware of impending attack, he can focus chakra throughout his body, and any damage he receives will immediately begin to regenerate--be it a bruise, bone fractures or breaks, small to moderate wounds, and even fatal wounds. All non-fatal wounds will heal practically immediately, while fatal wounds can take up to an entire post to heal fully depending on their size and severity. This technique can only be used a maximum of 2 times per thread.

[Iijutsu • One For Another]
S-Rank Ninjutsu
This jutsu is used for reviving the freshly deceased. In the event that someone has died within the past 4 posts, Yato will place his hands on the deceased body, as well as one willing participant who wishes to give up their life for the sake of the other. By transferring the live person's essence into the dead body over the course of 1 post, Yato is able to resurrect it at the expense of the live person's own life. However, if the patient in question is only fatally injured but not quite dead, the user of this technique will not transfer all of his/her life essence and can live through the use of this technique. If this occurs, live person will be rendered unconscious for five (5) posts following. This technique cannot be used more than once per thread.

[Erase Time • Clearing the Mind]
A-Rank Jikukan Ninjutsu
Upon being caught within an opponent's Genjutsu, Yato will channel chakra throughout his body and erase time on the Genjutsu trigger that affected him from ever occuring. In doing so, Yato will no longer be affected by the Genjutsu, and the chakra will remain in the Genjutsu caster as if they had never casted it in the first place. This jutsu can only be used if Yato has been affected by a Genjutsu in the past 2 posts, and is by no means a way of detecting whether or not he's been affected by Genjutsu. In doing so, Yato is able to then identify triggers he has already been affected by, and erase them on the spot with this jutsu when they happen.

[Open Space: Transcendent Domain]
S-rank Jikukan Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra throughout his Transcendent Hands, Yato opens space on all available Transcendent Hands, effectively causing them to become a complex interconnected chain of anchors. Yato is the only person able to utilize these anchors unless another person has a Control stat higher than or equal to Yato's own. In coming into contact with a hand, Yato can teleport instantly to the location of any other hand. The contact has to be intentional on Yato's part, meaning he cannot be pushed onto one of his anchors, and Yato can choose which hand he is teleported to. The hands are only temporary anchors, and after 5 posts will no longer be considered anchors.
