Physical Features:
  • Face/head: After undergoing the bonding process, Emica’s face took on a narrower set with sharp features. Her teeth have taken on a sharper look with elongated canines that resemble fangs. Her eyes changed colors, becoming amber with oval slitted pupils positioned vertically. Her hair changed colors to become a light rust red, which she wears up in a bun to keep from snagging on objects. A pair of vulpine ears sits atop her head, reddish in hue around the rims. Inside each ear is filled with fine white hairs while the backs are covered in black fur. Though few know it, because she keeps them hidden under her hair, she still has normal human ears as well. The skin on her face is naturally fair, but she uses cosmetics to shade the upper half of her face (from the tops of her cheeks up) a rust red matching her hair. In addition, she paints her lips black, contrasting the flashing whites of her fangs.
  • Body: The most notable thing that is immediately apparent about Vixen’s body, besides her tails, is the transition from fair to dark skin that happens below the joints of the elbow and knee. Darkly colored, her appendages better hide the small claws that have grown in place of normal nails, the dark razors blending with her skin tone. From between her vulpine ears down the center of her back runs a darker colored stripe (in her hair and on her skin). A second stripe runs between her shoulder blades, forming a cross on her upper back. At the base of her spine where the stripe terminates are her tails. Each of her three tails are a brownish rust red in color terminating in a white tip that nearly brushes the ground. Her figure is lean, built more for speed than power. She has surprisingly well-developed shoulders and arms as someone who practices extensively with throwing. Scars big and small are littered over her body, evidence of cuts gained in battle and training. Given the number, one can assume she doesn’t shy away from confrontation, or perhaps that she is a masochist.
  • Notable Features: Vulpine eyes, ears, fangs, claws, and three tails.
Clothing/Accessories: Vixen prefers to wear clothing that allows her freedom of movement and leaves most of her skin exposed, climate permitting. She usually wears a layered halter top made in mockery of traditional style. The innermost layer is a white cotton which only peeks around the edges with black cotton providing the covering outer layer. The garment crosses over like a traditional gi or kimono but leaves her back and sides completely bare save for where it wraps behind her neck. Her top then tucks into a pair of skintight black shorts with a white belt creating a division between top and bottom. The tops of her shorts are worn dangerously low on her hips, allowing her three tails room to protrude overtop in the back. The bottoms of her shorts only cover the tops of her thighs, leaving most of her legs bare. For footwear she wears a pair of sandals that only come as high as her ankles. The toes are left open, her claws hanging over the edge.
Personality:
  • General: Teenage and rebellious. Emica seethes at the state of affairs in the world. Being told no makes her see red. She’s done listening to her elders, letting them steer her life with fear and pain. She’s decided to take charge, give herself a new name, and strike down anyone who stands in the way. Everyone else has it wrong, and she’s just the one to set it right.

    Vixen is an anarchist. She believes that people should be free, and that pain and fear are what keep people in a bondage of their own making. People fear pain and loss. They build lives based around the junk they acquire. To be free means to cut away those attachments, endure that pain, and free your mind of the fear which made you a slave.

    The slaves of the world (read: almost everyone) need to be freed. Vixen believes she is the one to lead the world into the future that should be. It’s not that she is better than other people or should rule. People should rule themselves and find out if they are truly better. No. It’s because she is enlightened. She has seen the righteous path that Lord Jashin has placed this world upon. Now its her responsibility to see his will be manifest for the good of all. It would all happen eventually, but we don’t have forever in this life to find freedom. For those incapables of finding freedom in this life, she can always free their souls to find it in the next one.
  • Hopes/Dreams: To free the world. What else?
  • Fears: I’m not afraid. I’ve cast off my fear and pain is my ally. You can’t control me any more!
  • Combat Mentality: As a Tsukino, Vixen is in possession of fine sensory perception through her ability to see vibrations. As such she has learned to take away her opponent’s ability to perceive her with mist and stealth techniques. With her opponent unable to detect her, she plies ranged techniques and jutsu to both trap and injure them from a distance. That isn’t to say that she is afraid of entering to close conflicts. Indeed, one of the striking things about her is her willingness to allow herself to come to harm in the process of carrying out her plans.

    Beyond no longer fearing pain, she has learned to take pleasure from it. Often, she is at her most dangerous when her opponents think she is at her most weak or defeated. In close range she wields her own blood as a weapon, forming it into spikes that launch from her body to impale her enemies. Worse, once her blood has made contact with an opponent (internal or external), she can use it to attack directly and violently.

    Her biggest weakness is not her overconfidence, but her disregard for her own health. Death is but the freedom to enter the next life and walk beside Lord Jashin.

Equipment:
Vixen doesn't carry much, as she finds attachments to things to be part of man's bondage. What she does carry is a single small pouch that hides nicely under the bottom of her three tails. Inside she keeps her poison as well as spare senbon (x60). She wears a cuff made of while leather around each of her forearms with nickel plates buckles. Each contains 15 senbon with poisoned tips in individual slots that run vertically around the reachable perimiter of her arm. She also keeps a single senbon in her hair as a pin for her bun.

She uses these in the name of the sacred duty of bringing pain to the world, thus excusing herself from her attachment. Vixen deludes herself into thinking that she could get rid of them at any time, however she is reliant upon them in reality.

First Ability
Kitsune no KaoShow
After merging with a fox, a Tsukino inherits many of the fox’s own physical features and potential. This takes the form of a small amount of the fox's features, namely a pair of fox-like ears and fox-like tails which multiply as their own powers grow (3 tails at Chuunin, 5 at Jounin, 9 at Bannin or Kage).

The main ability of these foxes however are their extrasensory systems. A Tsukino’s ears are laced with vibration sensitive fur that forms the basis of a network of sensory paths in their brain, allowing them to feel nearby vibration as a form of sonar-sight. This works only in a small space around them but is greatly enhanced by nearby water as the liquid vibrations carry cleanly to their ears, allowing them to hear disturbances to water especially well. Even masses of vapor such as mist transmit such vibrations well.

Without adequate water a Tsukino’s sense extends around them for (Instinct/3) meters and can form rudimentary shapes and images in that radius but no further. Vibrations caused by water being interacted with, or vibrations traveling through water, can project much further and more clearly, up to (Instinct/2) meters out.

This advantage comes with it's own downside. Much as a normal person can be blinded with intense light a Tsukino’s sense can be temporarily shorted out by intense noises. Techniques that cause conflicting vibration can also dampen their senses, but these can be overcome using techniques.

Suiton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Suiton affinity. Suiton has a passive enveloping effect.
Passive (Enveloping)Show
Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. Fuuton has an cutting effect.
Passive (Cutting)Show
Fuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/3rd the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 19 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 6 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.
Mist Release:
Mist Release
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Mist, an extension composed of Fuuton and Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require Mist. Mist has an encroaching effect. You must be a former or present Kiri shinobi and have both Suiton and Fuuton to utilize this concentration.
Passive (Encroaching)Show
Mist naturally encroaches. This causes all mist jutsu to grow over time. Mist jutsu will passively grow at 1/10th their size per post, allowing them to not only become larger, but also refill areas within themselves that has been displaced. While Mist has limited offensive power, it's a supplementary superpower that can completely alter the course of battle by manipulating the battle field, and the people on it.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Chiton, and advanced form of Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Chiton affinity. Chiton has an replenishing effect. Those without the Elemental Specialization cannot make custom Chiton jutsu.
Passive (Replenishing)Show
Chiton has an replenishing effect. This means that Chiton jutsu passively repair themselves when damaged, at no additional cost to the user. The rate of repairing itself is 1/3rd the speed of the technique rounded up, so a Chiton defense that manifests at 10 speed would repair itself at 4 speed when damaged. This only works for the length of the technique, so maintaining the damage to Chiton until the jutsu expires will stop it from regrowing.

Suiton • Defensive Barrier

Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 9
After performing the correct hand seals the user will spray water created from the inside of their chest through their mouth. Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. This defense is somewhat solid and can be formed in any direction the user can spit, up to five meters away. The defense is shot at a speed of 8 and has a strength of 10 and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.

*Suiton • Water Shuriken
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a shuriken of water that can be thrown approximately 6 centimeters in diameter in their hand. When kai'd, this shuriken explodes with a force equal to a D-Rank explosion and covers the immediate area in water. If not consumed, this technique lasts for three posts.

*Suiton • Propel Leap
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra into their hands the user will fire two jets of water from their hand, essentially hurling and propelling themselves in the opposite direction of their jets as if thrown by a strength of 5. Can be used once to throw themselves with 5 strength.

Suiton • Crashing Wave
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 15
After performing the correct hand seals the user expels a massive tidal wave of water 10 meters wide and nearly 5 meters tall. This wave travels forward at a speed of 15 and with a strength of 15 for up to 15 meters before losing it's steam and failing.

Suiton • Pacifistic Domination
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 15
Created to safely incapacitate opponents, after performing the correct hand seals, if the opponent is within 15 meters and is standing a top a body of water with the user's chakra in it, the user will begin to churn their chakra causing the water to turn into a vortex and engulf the opponent, trapping them in a vortex about two meters in diameter. Once the target is inside, the user must hold the last seal and cannot use any other techniques, capable of holding this for up to five posts. In order to escape, the target must have at least 15 strength to physically make their way out, or the user must be disrupted. Most shinobi would pass out after two posts due to a lack of oxygen. However, if a target possesses a stamina stat higher than 10, it would require three posts for them to pass out. Should the target possess a stamina stat above 20, it would require five posts for them to pass out, but anything higher than 30 would allow them to resist passing out altogether.

Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 9
After doing the needed hand seals, the user creates a small vortex of Fuuton chakra around a projectile in their hand that spins with a strength of 9. This causes the projectile to corkscrew through the air, allowing it to travel an extra 18m and applying the Fuuton passive when thrown. This doesn't make the projectile any faster, only increases its range and ability to cut.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user covers a projectile they are holding in fuuton empowered wind. Then, when the weapon has been thrown as normal, the user is able to change it's direction by up to 90 degrees once with no drop in momentum on the projectiles part. This technique only lasts one post.

Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 9
After performing the required hand seals, the user expels a basket ball sized ball of wind from their mouth. This ball of wind travels up to 20m at 8 speed, and explodes with the strength of two explosive tags on contact with solid matter or at the end of its range.

Fuuton • Great Breakthrough
C-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 15
By performing the needed hand seals and bringing their hands to their mouth, the user can release a wide blast of air. This wave of air moves outward in a cone shape with a 15m width at the end of the cone and moves with a speed of 15. Once it makes contact with a substance, the wind pushes it away with 15 strength, applying the cutting passive as normal. This blast goes out for a maximum of 10m if it doesn't hit anything, where it will dissipate into the surrounding air.


Fuuton • Tornado Trap
C-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 15
The user will first perform the required hand seals and then gather wind around an opponent. This will form a tornado around them at a speed of 12 which extends 10m into the air and has a radius of 3m. The tornado will push back anything that touches it with a strength of 12, while also cutting at whatever tries to push through as well as a kunai would with the same strength. This technique lasts for 4 posts.

Prerequisite: Kiri-nin
Kirigakure no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Hidden Mist Ninja. After forming the required hand seals, the ninja creates a blanket of mist which covers the area around them. The mist covers 20x20x20m area. The mist limits the visibility of those inside to 4 meters in any direction. This technique lasts a number of posts equal to 1/2 the user's stamina.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user slowly moves their hand down, stabilizing the mist in the area. D-rank fuuton jutsu will still work in the mist, but will no longer displace it, allowing the mist jutsu to be maintained easier. Additionally, the duration of the mist will be extended by 2 posts.

Mist Bath
D-rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 9
While inside the mist, the user will form a series of hand seals, then hold a hand forward. From their hand 5 marble sized bullets of mist will form and shoot forward through the mist at 9 speed, with 9 strength.

Mist Constriction
C-rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 15
After performing the correct handseals, the user will focus on a 3x3x3m area of mist. This mist will then become extremely dense, weighing down with 15 strength. Anyone caught within this area with less than 15 strength will be unable to move.

*Shrouding Mist Technique
C-rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Hidden Mist Technique
After forming the required hand seals, the ninja creates a blanket of mist which covers the area around them. The mist covers 30x30x30m area. The mist limits the visibility of those inside to 3 meters in any direction, and dampens scents, weakening any advanced scent techniques, or controlled scent techniques by 2m. This technique lasts a number of posts equal to the user's 1/2 stamina.

After performing the needed seals, the user will cause blood to break through their skin, forming a kunai in their hand. The kunai has 5 strength, and can be thrown. After impact, if falls into a pool of blood that can then be used for other attacks.

*Bold Clotting
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the needed seals, the user will place their hand over an open wound up to five inches wide and two inches deep. After channeling Chiton chakra for a full post, the user will form a superficial blood-clot covering over the wound to prevent further bloodflow from it. While this cover doesn't completely heal the wound, it allows the target's body to recover from the wound naturally without agitation.

*Venipuncture
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user will get a grip on their target, causing two needles from their palms to lash out into the target, pumping their blood into the target. Follow up techniques can be utilized with this jutsu to attack the opponent from the inside out.

Bloodied
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 15
After performing the needed seals, the user will channel Chiton chakra into a location on their body. From that location a 2ft long spike of chakra will shoot out from under their skin with 15 strength at 15 speed. The spike is sharp, and will either recede back into the body after use, or follow up jutsu can be used with it.

Impaler
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Ninjutsu 15
After performing the needed hand seals, the user will focus their chakra on a patch of their blood, at least a baseball in circumference, within 10m of their body. From the patch of blood 5 senbon will form, and fire in whatever direction they choose, at 2 speed, with 28 strength. This is most commonly used on blood they've gotten onto the enemy, firing directly into their skin.

It doesn't matter how quiet you walk when the ryo in your pocket clinks and jingles. The user learns how to secure their person and personal effects in such a way that they won't make noise no matter how much they run or jump up and down. This includes ensuring that there is nothing loose which can flop around, get caught, or snagged as the user moves around.

D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
A stable and steady stance practiced by nearly all wishing to use projectiles. At this stage they are planted and focusing on their arms and shoulders, moving in smooth motions to mitigate unnecessary movements that may ruin their aim.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
This allows the user to hit a moving target so long as it is moving in a way predictable to the user. They must still take into account travel time, and sudden changes in path will still affect the outcome.

History

Emica, bled for the family Muramasa, born of the family Tsukino was born in Kirigakure no Saito. Unsurprisingly, she was a playful child, spending her youth at the family onsen located in the military district. As a child she was wrapped up in the stardom that kirigakure lavishes on its favored ninja, collecting their memorabilia and autographs obsessively. She kept a special autograph book just for the occasion, hiding it away when not obtaining a choice autograph.

Then one day her autograph book went missing. She was six. She cried and cried, finding out the next day that her cousin had stolen it from her. She confronted her cousin out in the streets, but he was older and stronger. For her troubles she got shoved into the mud. Then a proud shinobi came to her rescue. He smacked her cousin over the head and took the book back. Instead of returning it though, he shredded it too little bits with the power of the wind, telling her, “Now they can never take it from you again.”

She cried and wailed that night, for her prized possession had been destroyed, but in time her pain passed. Soon she came to realize the wisdom of the shinobi who had destroyed her book and began to idolize him. Though he was largely unknown in the village, Emica remembered. Whenever her bully of a cousin would try to take something from her, she’d destroy it. Better gone than his.

Eventually though, it was time for Emica to join the academy. She was nine. Her savior, the ninja whose face she could recall if she closed her eyes, found her at the academy. It was there he observed that she had learned and decided to teach her more of his ways: the ways of Lord Jashin. Lord Jashin taught us that attachments were wrong and against his ways. The world was a world of chaos, and we had to learn to be part of that chaos, not resist it.

Emica learned well the ways of Jashin, but took longer to graduate than most, for she was always getting hurt. She seemed to delight in both her own pain, and that of her classmates. Her secret lessons had taught her much out of the eye of the academy instructors. When she graduated, her mentor told her she would be reborn through pain. He was right.

The Tsukino merging process is not a nice one. Many take some time to recover and are somewhat scarred by the experience of the transformation. Not Emica. When she emerged from the dark room of her transformation, she was grinning like the fox she had merged with. Her smile stayed as her parents waned. Soon after her transformation she decided to leave the home she was born in, moving in with her mentor. After all, were her parents not just another attachment?

She trained herself in those couple of years, building up her skills. She performed missions for the village but resented the control they held over her and her mentor’s cow toeing to them. Why did they need the village? They were sinners under Lord Jashin’s law. Her mentor tried to make her understand, but this only frustrated her more.

Vixen, as she had decided to call herself, decided that her gift to herself for her sixteenth birthday would be to purify herself before Lord Jashin, so she planned to be out on a mission with her mentor on that day. They were supposed to be out hunting a group reported to have attacked a slaver ship. Instead, Vixen cut away her reliance on her mentor. He was her largest attachment, and with his sacred demise she would please Lord Jashin. With him out of the way, there would be nothing holding her to the village anymore.

Vixen waited for the two of them to engage the slavers, then got herself injured and bled all over her mentor, then pierced his heart with her blood. Freed of her final attachment to her previous life, she fled into the countryside, fleeing the country to begin her sacred work of freeing he world.
