- Face/head: Like many of her clan, Machi's hair is a light, dull blue, her pale face is dotted with several freckles, especially in the crevices of her nose and speckled across her cheeks.
- Body: Machi's body is mostly pear-shaped, and like her face dotted with plenty of light freckles, especially on the tops of her arms.
- Notable Features:Machi's right eye is missing, covered by an eye patch, and her right arm from the elbow down is a steam prosthetic, convincingly 'real' looking from a distance, even mimicking her freckled skin.
Personality: Despite being a shinobi of Kirigakure, Machi is fairly kind-hearted and tries to extend a helping hand where she can. She is also somewhat conceited and focuses a lot of attention on her beauty and appearance, hating when her steam makes her makeup run.

Each cloud has a small but relatively solid form which takes advantage of it's natural buoyancy to help spring the user upwards towards the next. These clouds must be within 2 meters of each other when created, and are destroyed the moment the user springs off them or four posts have passed, dropping to the ground in a scalding splash of hot water.

This massive creature will impact with [Control] strength and cause third degree burns on contact with flesh.

Moving at a speed of [Control] up to 80 meters away, on impact, the sphere explodes with [Control] Strength over 32mx32mx32m, sending hot steam all over and creating a lingering 9 meter radius cloud of steam around the point of impact that lasts for up to six posts. Any steam that comes in contact with flesh will cause fourth degree burns.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will inhale, then breathe out steam from their nose and mouth, the steam will move around their body out to 80m rolling on the ground like a fog. The heat created from the steam with drain -3 Endurance every post for the duration of the jutsu to a max of -9 Endurance. Any suiton jutsu used while this is active will evaporate due to the heat, reducing their Strength by -10, while any Katon jutsu will weaken due to the moisture, reducing their strength by -10. At any point, the user can clasp their hands together, focusing on a single point within the range, causing all the steam to suddenly condense around that point at [Control] speed, crushing with [Control] strength. However the focus of this is on the passive effect of Steam that will cook whatever the steam has condensed around.

Machi grew up as most in Kirigakure do, except she was also rich and therefor kind of spoiled and things weren't so bad for her by comparison. She was enrolled in the academy at a very young age, where she saw a moderate level of success being somewhat of a prodigy as far as her clan jutsu went, but struggling to keep up in other territories such as taijutsu or more generic techniques. Her family would see her as a success all the same, as she did a great job showcasing the clan's jutsu, and was rather brutal in her execution of 'beauty' across the battlefield.
During a particularly harsh chuunin exam where she was forced to kill her only friend in the world, she lost her arm and eye to being boiled away in the horrific ritual witnessed by many members of the clan. They applauded even as she was carried away by a medic, and this was probably the first time Machi realized that maybe all was not well as she lay in pain, both emotional and physical at the events that had just transpired. It didn't help that the injuries she'd sustained were bound to make her less beautiful.
As she ranked up to Special Jounin, she was given a pair of genin to train in a similar fashion to her and her previous best friend. She'd been rather aloof towards them to start, but the pair quickly grew on her as they listened to her instruction well and got stronger in ways that Machi hadn't even considered. She began to realize that the strength she alone had cultivated likely wasn't enough, and that maybe having multiple avenues of strength meant more strength in the long run for everyone.
She had her pair of genin for close to two years until they were both ready to rank up, as was tradition. The pair of them were due to fight each-other for their exam, and she'd taken them aside and told them that they didn't need to end eachother's lives, and reassured them that the strength they gained from eachother was worth so much more. The pair of them were hesitant and agreed verbally, but... When it came time for the fight, it started off as a playful spar, until one of the judges of the fight said something aloud about both of them being weak.
This ignited a spark in both of them, and both feared losing the fight more than ever, and the result that came of it... Both killed eachother, one directly in the fight, and the other shortly after from his injuries, right before a medic could come over to help. Machi's world was shattered, especially as, perhaps worst of all, she was rewarded for their behavior, being given a promotion for having raised such a ravenous pair of youth.
