Physical Features:
  • Face/head: The Arashiyama snow white hair sits atop the head of Sji, he wears it at a medium length resting just short of his shoulders. Most of his fringe comes down to his nose, however his headband parts most of it to the left side of his face and a small amount to the right.
    His face is unblemished, despite his age it had still retained a lot of the "baby fat" from his childhood. This coupled with his size give Sji a still very childlike appearance. Sji's eyes are a cognac brown with a slight reddish tinge to them, they are quite wide and have a friendly innocence to them. They have been known to "light up" at the sight of sweet foods or a hint of adventure.
  • Body: Sji has a slender frame, almost effeminate in it's own way certain his arms only holding soft muscle. His legs hold some degree of toning on the existing muscles mostly through the travelling he has done thus far in his life. Being born an albino member of the Arashiyama clan Sji has a very fair complexion almost a pale skin tone.
  • Notable Features:Around his torso reaching is a nest of scarification, some small individual cuts and other large ugly looking things all of them making webways across his torso. Sji has a tattoo of his clan insignia on his left shoulder only visible if he were wear no shirt, it is not something Sji has any shame of.
Clothing/Accessories:
Sji likes to wear a black cloth coat with a large collar, the interior is lined with purple to match the pale grey top he wears under the coat. The coat itself he leaves open, on the shoulders the coat features a thick white trim. The symbol on the top has no meaning to Sji he just liked the look of it. Sji also wears a pair of straw sandals, he sports a pair of black cloth trousers that match his jacket they stop just above his ankles and are quite loose on his figure. He also wears a black cloth band around his forehead in place of his forehead protector, on his right hand he wears a fingerless glove.

Personality:
  • General: Sji was once a very timid and shy individual when he was much younger, only when he became a genin and became more active in his village's community he started to become more outgoing until it became habit. The best way to describe his current attitude towards people would be to call him a vain, arrogant, annoying and excitable brat. That would just be putting it politely, Sji usually puts on a faux innocence further giving off the notion of this sweet child image he potrays.
  • Hopes/Dreams:
    Sji's main goal in life is to enjoy himself, visit strange places, experience exotic cuisine, meet intereting people, perhaps occasionally kill said interesting people. His ultimate goal in all of life can only be summed up as freedom and experience.
    Since his first meeting with Yato, Sji began to admire him and his dreams for the world began to mingle with Sji's own ideas. Sji was very much a blank canvas for Yato to paint on, therefore the furthering of Yato's personal goals accomplished whatever they may be is also a goal that Sji wishes to obtain.
  • Fears:
    Sji has many fears, dying before achieveing all he wants in life for a start. He is especially scared of letting down those he comes to call friends, worst of all losing someone he trusts.
  • Combat Mentality:Sji adopts a more ranged fighting style, while he does enjoy cutting people up he wouldn't risk a fight with someone who is actually adept at close range fights. Sji would prefer to keep at a distance and attack with Ninjutsu to help with this he will usually lay traps to prevent the closing of distance.

Suiton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Suiton affinity. Suiton has a passive enveloping effect.

Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Raiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Raiton affinity. Raiton has a shocking effect.
Passive (Shocking)Show
Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

Additionally, the strength of the nervous effect on organic material from raiton jutsu is determined by the ninjutsu stat requirement.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will channel Raiton chakra to two of their fingers. They will then be able to fire up to three total bullet sized balls of concentrated lightning from their fingertips. These bullets will travel at 5 speed, but will not have any physical force. Instead, they will apply light electrical burns similar to a sun burn and will apply Raiton's shocking effect.

After performing a string of hand seals and stomping on the ground, the user emits five bolts of lightning in a line. Each bolt is 1 metre apart from the one before it (giving the jutsu a total range of 5 metres from the user), rising 1 metre into the air from the ground in succession, starting from the closest one to the user working outwards with a speed of 10 and a strength of 8. Each bolt of lightning's dimensions is 1x1x1 Metres, they are designed to pierce anyone who comes into contact with the bolts along with applying the passive effects of Raiton.

The user first performs a series of hand seals and then puts their hands together at the wrist with their fingers spread. Streams of Storm chakra arc off each finger into the center of their hands, collecting into a ball of Storm 20cm in diameter which may be then launched at the user's will moving at a speed of 9 and a strength of 9 with a maximum range of 15 metres. Once this orb has been launched the user may control it's movement within the 10 metre radius for as long as they channel chakra into the technique.

After performing several hand seals, Sji places his hands side by side on the ground. He then moves them apart leaving behind a thin layer of what seems like water measuring 0.5 metres in diameter, the puddle is only 2cm deep. When stepped upon by someone holding foreign chakra, that is chakra that is not Sji's, the puddle moves it's way up to the ankles of the one stepping on it the liquid then tightens around the legs of the target at a speed of 10. It then holds the target in place, the trap has a strenght of 10. The trap will last for a total of 4 posts.

The user channels chakra to their hands and launches 5 spheres measuring at 2 meters in diameter at a range of 25 meters, they travel at a speed of 10 and explode on impact with a strength of 10 within 23 meter, they also apply the ranton passive allowing 5 ribbons to split from the center of each explosion and spread themselves over a 3 meter area at a speed of 10 where they explode with a strength of 5 within 13 meter.

After performing a series of handseals the user pushes his hands outwards till they are spread out full arm width, during this motion liquid plasma blasts originating from the user, exploding outwards in an 8x8x8 Metre dome, repelling anything it comes into contact with till it reaches it's maximum range and dissipates. The dome has a strength of 20 and speed of 20.

After forming hand seals the user of this technique quickly pulls their hands up and focuses, droplets of Storm forming in the air and connecting together around the user to form a 5x5x5 metre diameter dome around themselves forming at a speed of 25. This defensive dome looks like a shimmering sheet of ranton all around the user, it retains all of Storm's properties. it has a defense of 15 strength, but no matter what the object that hits the dome is getting backlash even if it breaks through cleanly as they suffer the passive abilites of Ranton. The dome lasts for 5 posts unless destroyed.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a shuriken of water that can be thrown approximately 6 centimeters in diameter in their hand. When kai'd, this shuriken explodes with a force equal to a D-Rank explosion and covers the immediate area in water. If not consumed, this technique lasts for three posts.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a dense ball of water approximately 6 centimeters in diameter in their hands. Upon lurching forward, they will release the ball towards an opponent up to 10 meters away at a speed of 6 and with a strength of 4.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will spray water created from the inside of their chest through their mouth. Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. This defense is somewhat solid and can be formed in any direction the user can spit, up to five meters away. The defense is shot at a speed of 5 and has a strength of 5 and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.

After performing the correct hand seals the user expels a massive conical water torrent that drenches an area thoroughly, capable of soaking a meter down nearly instantly for soil and like materials. The cone has a base width of 15 meters and a range of 15 meters and travels at a speed of 10, pushing things back with a strength of 10.
*Suiton • Pacifistic Domination

Created to safely incapacitate opponents, after performing the correct hand seals, if the opponent is within 15 meters and is standing a top a body of water with the user's chakra in it, the user will begin to churn their chakra causing the water to turn into a vortex and engulf the opponent, trapping them in a vortex about two meters in diameter. Once the target is inside, the user must hold the last seal and cannot use any other techniques, capable of holding this for up to five posts. In order to escape, the target must have at least 10 strength to physically make their way out, or the user must be disrupted. Most shinobi would pass out after two posts due to a lack of oxygen. However, if a target possesses a stamina stat higher than 10, it would require three posts for them to pass out. Should the target possess a stamina stat above 20, it would require five posts for them to pass out, but anything higher than 30 would allow them to resist passing out altogether.

After performing the correct hand seals the user creates a dragon head of water. Once it has been created, the user can launch the three-meter diameter projectile towards a target at a speed of 15 and with a strength of 25 for up to 20 meters. Following the head is a long body and tail, stretching nearly six-meters. During the course of it's travel, the user may alter the course of the dragon three times, allowing it to complete a U-turn per alteration.

History

Sji was born into a lower branch of the Arashiyama Clan, they did not have much in the way of influence within Kumogakure. Ridicule was all Sji ever knew from the clan being born a freak a pale and rather ill looking child, a rare occurance among the clan it was generally seen as a bad omen as the weakening of a bloodline. His mother died due to blood loss during a rather extrenious and complex childbirth, yet despite all that his father Miho Arashiyama never once blamed Sji for the death of his wife.

Miho never remarried and having responsiblities to his clan and village there were many times where he had to leave Sji to fend for himself. The neighbours were nice enough to feed him and make sure he was tucked in at night, they kept this up until Sji was old enough to be able to look after himself. Sji learnt to cook at the age of 4, after many failed attempts he could make himself basic meals. While there was no open hostility shown when Sji was around there was always the subtle background details, the kind that someone shunned tend to notice despite everyone's efforts to hide it. Hushed whispers from the clan members warning their children about playing with the strange boy, they said even his father didn't want him that was why he was away on so many missions.
As Sji grew his inquisitive nature began to surface, he wanted to know more about the man his father was and why he was rarely around. Sji had heard all the things people say but nothing from the man himself, so during one of his father's extended breaks from the line of duty he asked exactly what drove him to try so hard for the sake of a village that likely didn't even know of his existence; a lord that probably didn't even know his name.
Sji will forever remember the night he asked that question, his father held an expression of both hurt and joy both emotions conflicting off each other in a dramatic clash of opposing forces. His father stated that he cared for the village that Sji's mother had been raised in, the village that he himself and his son had been born in, it was also his duty as a shinobi to protect the innocent people of this land. Sji's father continued to list reasons each with the same enthusiasm and passion, it was then that Sji wanted to follow his father's footsteps as a shinobi.
"We are sorry kid."
"Your Father was a brave Shinobi."
The amount of times he heard that made him sick, Sji didn't want their sympathy he wanted his father back. So many people paid their respects for the loss, so many strangers people who had never once been to visit his father in life. Full time mourners, Sji wondered if they gathered at funerals as their only means of social interaction the world was full of many things it would not surprise him if some monsters hid themselves amongst regular folk. It was unfair, only a day before his father had told him how proud he was to have his son beginning at the academy in the next few weeks. Sji's world collapsed and for the first time ever he wore the mask.
Sji wept at the funeral because it was expected of him, all he could do was feel angry but showing it would only cause trouble and right now he had a promise to keep. Sji had told his father that he wanted to become a shinobi just like his father, he intended to honour that promise and so his academy days began.

Sji did not make any friends at the academy, sure there were people he knew but whenever they asked for him to hang out with them he always came up with excuses. He would get up, study, eat, return home, sleep and repeat. The monotony of it allowed Sji to drown the hurt he was feeling from the loss of his father, the clan continued to treat him like a bad omen as if he was someone responsible for the fate of his father through some strange means. They could not deny that he was growing into a fine Shinobi however as he performed well in the academy, while they were certainly not ready to accept him as he was they would not say no to a useful tool. Expectations began to be placed up Sji suddenly more attention was being paid to him, people threw around words such as genius carelessly as if they knew what the word meant. Sji knew he was no genius all he did was put more effort into things than his fellow classmates, they would go home and spend time with their friends and family while Sji would continue to study and practice.
For a time he forgot about his anger towards the village for casting his father aside like some broken tool that had outlived any usefulness, the brave face he had been putting on all this time so other would not become concerned about his attitude began to fool even Sji into believing it. Then he met Kyoko Teyami, a tomboyish girl with a streak for getting into mischief, if there was trouble then you could guarentee she would be in the thick of it. She approached Sji one day while he was training and rather than asking if he wanted to hang out with her like any other kid had done thus far she left him no choice. That was how Sji went on his first adventure, dragged in protest, it was only afterwards he realised how much he had enjoed the break.

Sji and Teyami became inseparable, wherever there was trouble now it was the both of them in the thick of it. Their banter had become increasingly tense however, deeper feelings had begun to develop between the pair. It was all awkward as one would expect from those in their teens, Sji finally got the message across and their first date was set whenever anyone else in the village asked they claimed only to be friends.
Sji and Teyami were not in the same team, Sji's mentor took very little interest in their individual progress he cared more about statistics and looking good in reports. It irked Sji but it was not of consequence, his goal in life was not to be a shinobi any longer he and Teyami talked about running away together on many occasions in hushed tones all about how many great adventures they would have, strange things they would see and experience.

Then came the Chuunin exam, sure enough Teyami passed with flying colours, in fact people began using those words again "a genius" or "a promising shinobi" all lies dressing up the thing they really wanted to say "you are a perfect tool" Sji had failed the exam. He didn't hold any contempt for Teyami, more a feeling of sorrow he did not wish to be left behind by her to which she tended to reassure him he was being silly.
The day she died Sji heard the same words again, not directed to him however instead directed to her family.
"We are sorry."
"Your Daughter was a brave shinobi."
Like a revelation Sji realised he had been telling himself this exact message all along, Shinobi mean nothing to the villages just a resource to be manged, Sji wanted to lash out all his life he had been seen as a bad omen, a nuisance, a tool to be used and discarded. They only care about the talents they bring to the village, the individuals don't matter. The amount of times he and Teyami had talked about running away had even lead to them coming up with ideas how to leave. It was far easier than he thought, during a great festival to celebrate the anniversary of the Raikage's appointment he slipped into one of the carts leaving to collect more supplies for the festival. Sure enough they were checked many times by checkpoints but this cart held a large pile of straw tucked into the far corner enough for Sji to climb amongst and hide, due to the festivities the checkpoint was more lack the usual likely they wanted to take part in the festivals and felt down about being stuck on guard duty that even when they did check the straw pile it was half measured.

After getting out of the Lightning country Sji began to roam about, he learned all about being a missing ninja very quickly for those that didn't learn fast enough tended to end up dead. Teyami had died before she could experience what the world had to offer, Sji intended to take up the mantle of doing that for her making it his life's goal. Sji would pick up another unexpected goal when he met a nukenin from Konoha who shared his view on the villages but took it even further, Yato had a vision for the future and it inspired Sji to follow him. They traveled together for a while, whether they were friends or not was unclear to Sji he certainly looked up to Yato but it was hard to tell always what the nukenin thought of Sji in return. Eventually they parted ways, no falling out or any change of goals one day they just stopped travelling together. Sji began to travel the world to learn more about it.
