Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Rounded face, but becoming more angular due to maturing. Brown eyes, and brown hair that he keeps short and spiked. Typical blank expression on his face from time to time. Due to lineage.
  • Body: Standing at 5'11", Ko is rather tall for his age, especially compared to his clansmen. Being 145lbs though, leaves him looking a little on the scrawny side, but still well toned due to training. However his skin is almost impossibly white.
  • Notable Features: 3 Tattoos on his upper body. The words ' Insect inmy body' are inked across his chest. 2 Butterflies, one on his right shoulder, the other on his left hip.
Clothing/Accessories: Traditional white coat of the Aburame clan. However, Ko wears his open to expose his tattoos. Wearing the black tinted goggles, finishes the traditional look of his clan. His pants are black, spandex-like leggings that cling to his legs, yet stretches to give him mobility. Doning a pair of Geta's finishes off his attire with the footwear.

  • General: Ko is, to put mildly, self-centered; egotistical; High-strung. Any of them will be known to be Ko's main personality. He sees himself far more superior to most, no matter their rank and abilities. It stems from his belief that he's better than the rest of his clan, has ultimately trickled to everyone. He's very Stotic and monotone at most times. One major qwerk to Ko's personality is his lack of the "Will of Fire." He will out right express his dislike of even the phrase, as well his own clan. With his cocky attitude, and a slight dislike of the village (s), Ko can come off as quite the rebel.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Ko hopes to one day, rectify the passive Aburame, and mold them into his own image, as one collective hive should be. While his Dreams are to prove once and for all that he is someone to be feared, and given the respect he deserves. To be known across the lands, as the True Aburame; "The Butterfly of Insects."
  • Fears: Secretely, Ko fears being ignored. Pushed or caste aside as if he was nothing. But to the world, he shows his fear of losing his hive, his connection to the insects, and his kikachū.
  • Combat Mentality:Ko is no stranger to fighting, most of the time he revels in being in a good fight, something to test his strength and prove his abilities. During combat though, if it is a good fight in his standards, a smile could be seen on the corner of his lips, a smirk if you will. When fighting, Ko has developed a Bait-N-Trap kind of style. Knowing his greatest strength is his kikachū, he uses himself as the bait to maneuver his opponent(s) into a spot to be swarmed. However he has adapted a mid-long distance style of fighting, but has the tools to fend off close combatants. Using deception and tact, Ko can be a fearsome fighter.

Equipment: Lining both sides of Ko's coat, on the inside, are 20x Senbon. On his right, inside coat, lines 5x Smoke Bombs. On the left, 5x Flash Tags, and 5x Tagged Bombs. Ko has two thigh holsters. On his right thigh, are the 5x Kunai, and 10x Shuriken. On the left, 2 small blank scrolls, a small vial of ink, and brush. Needle and thread, along with 15ft of spooled wire.

Ko also carries with him, a butterfly net that's augmented slightly. Instead of a wooden handle, it's made of a steel core. The net is 13"-diameter, 30"-deep open-shaped net bag that extends from 18" up to 6' when added chakra to it. When extended, it can take the property of a three sectional staff. Ko adds his chakra in a small burst (does not need to maintain adding chakra) to the handle from his hand, and the first part is the net will extend in length from the handle to the base of the netting itself. Adding another burst of chakra (doesn't need much) and Ko can turn the staff into a three (3) sectional staff. Depending on how he channels his chakra to the net, he can make one section becoming movable, or all three. His chakra depends on what section folds. The entire butterfly net folds and collapses to just 18" long and 5" wide, resulting in the net folding in half as well to get the 5" wide.

Kikaichū Sight

After the appropriate hand seals, the Aburame shuts their eyes, transferring their sight to one of their kikachū. The view from this insect allows for the discerning size, shape, distance, and minor details, lacking the ability to examine intricate details, such as text in a book. The Kikaichū can travel up to a mile away before the link between the Aburame is broken and the technique lasts as long as the Aburame keeps their eyes closed for a maximum of six posts. Users Instinct needs to be 5 or higher, in order to deduce the information coming in from the insect. The user must remain motionless and both eyes shut for the link to remain.

After the appropriate hand seals, the Aburame fires off a 2 inch diameter clump of insects at a strength of 2 and speed of 8 up to five meters away before dispersing. Upon impact, they spread over an area of 5 inches.

After the appropriate hand seals, the Aburame forms a 1 inch diameter ball of Kikaichū, which they can than toss at an opponent, the ball sticking to them at a strength of 5, speed of 5. Pheromone Tracker

A female Kikaichū lands on the designated target, their small form and silent movement allowing them to go highly unnoticed, then produces an abnormal amount of pheromones. The male Kikaichū of that breed can then trace the pheromone trail, allowing the Aburame to effectively track the marked target. The males can only track the female within a three mile radius, and after five posts, the female Kikaichū does not have the chakra to produce excess pheromones and tracking is reduced to 1/2 mile.

Trap of the Kikachū

The Aburame member commands their Kikaichū to burrow into the ground and then directs them towards their target. On the next post, the Aburame can then tell the Kikaichū to burst from beneath the target and latch onto their feet, holding them in place. The Kikaichū can reach up to 10 meters away with a speed of 4 and the hold can easily be broken by anyone with a strength higher than 6. This jutsu wears off after three posts.

By having their Kikaichū attach to one another, the Aburame member can create a ‘rope’ of bugs that can be used to bind a victims hands or even attach between a solid object and the Aburame member. The maximum length of the ‘rope’ is 10 meters. Someone with a strength higher than 5 could break free of the 'rope'.

Ko scatters his insects In a twenty (20) meter radius, which then produce chakra into the air. This creates thousands of Ko's chakra signature in the area. Used to confuse and make difficult in pin pointing Ko himself from anyone using sensory techniques.

After the appropriate hand seals, the Aburame holds the last seal before firing off a 2 inch diameter stream of insects in a straight line up to ten meters away. The insects fly forth at a strength of 10 and a speed of 10, upon impact use their mandibles to claw and tear at the target doing moderate lacerations due to the many insects all attacking at the same time. This can be held for a maximum of two posts.

By channeling their chakra into their swarm and holding the final seal, the Aburame raises the pheromones of one of their swarms to unnatural levels, causing them to rapidly breed, creating larvae by the end of the post. If the Aburame continues to channel chakra into their swarm for another post, the larvae will rapidly hatch and grow into adult Kikaichū, replenishing 4 cubic meters (4x4x4) of the total swarm, and will continue by 4 cubic meters for ever post after that. Ko must remain still the entire time, in order to continue to replenish.

After the appropriate hand seals, the Aburame member's kikaichū are gathered into one place and pattern themselves after the user or anyone else they choose. The technique is elaborate enough to be mistaken for the original, and therefore may be used as a decoy or as part of a diversionary tactic. When the clones stamina stat is used up/it is destroyed, it falls apart into the Kikachū it is made of. Each clone cannot use jutsu and has the following stats:

Upon the activation of this technique, the Aburame can trigger one or more of his Insect Clones to explode in a shower of Kikaichū that covers an area with a fifteen foot radius. Anyone within the blast radius will be covered head to toe in Kikaichū, the explosion of bugs moving at a speed equal to the user's control up to 20. This explosion has no concussive force and does no damage.

A large cloud of Kikaichū gathers in the sky above the Aburame, equalling an area of roughly ten meters in radius. On the Aburame’s command, groups of Kikaichū fall down for three posts at a speed equal to the users control up to 30. Upon impact these groups of Kikaichū cover an area of a three and a half inch radius. If hit directly, the ‘bullet’ impacts with a strength of 10.

After the proper hand seals, the Aburame will ping a target within 15 meters with their chakra, causing their swarm to shoot off at the target at a speed of 18 and surround them, flying around them in a flurry packed densely. The Kikaichū will however show restraint, only circling the target, forming a wall of kikachū with a strength of 22. In the case that the target attempts to escape and cannot break the wall, they will be cut up and hurt by the Kikachū as they whiz by.

After an Aburame's Kikaichū within 15 meters forms a shape that is under 5 meters in diameter, they will perform a set of hand seals, locking the Kikaichū together and reinforcing them with a layer of chakra armor at a speed of 10 that has 30 strength. Giant Insect - Bug Bite

Following Ko placing a number of kikaichū onto the skin of an enemy, (either by physical contact, or by a form of another jutsu), these insects immediately burrow into the victim's body and begin to devour its flesh and chakra. This process causes the insects to grow rapidly in size at a speed equal to Ko's sync stat, until the host body is completely eaten away from the inside out. If the victim's Strength stat plus Stamina divided by 2 ([Strength+Stamina]/2), is higher than Ko's Sync stat, the insects cannot burrow into the skin to complete the Jutsu. If the victim is equal to or lower than Ko's Sync stat, his insects will be able to burrow in and complete the jutsu.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will expel ash from their mouth at a speed of 4. The ash will form a wall roughly 4 meters high and 2 meters wide and is very useful for blocking someone in. The wall has a strength of 6. Anyone who touches the wall will find that the ash will cling to them, leaving 1st degree burns over the course of one post. Unless broken, the wall will remain standing for 3 posts before dissipating.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will expel ash, spread out to make a cloud of about 3 meters by 3 meters at a speed of 9. The cloud is not strong with a strength of 1, designed for people to walk right through it. This cloud will hang in the air for 3 posts before dissipating. If anyone walks through the cloud the ash will cling to them and cause 1st degree burns over the course of 1 post.

After completing a set of handseals, the user forms a slight chakra 'body', thus creating a single, massless clone. The clone created from this technique is very basic and will dissipate when hit with anything. These clones do not possess vital signs or a unique chakra signature, meaning they don't disrupt the environment, and anything on their person is superficial. The clone has 1 in each stat. They are limited to basic movements.

As this technique is quite strenuous to uphold, experienced shinobi may see more clearly through this delusive disguise. This technique lasts for a number of posts equal to that of the user's stamina.

A jutsu used with the purpose of activating seals and a range of devices and weapons, this technique begins with a single handseal. Once this has been performed, the user will focus a dollop of their chakra into what they are looking to activate in order to complete the task. By focusing chakra into his/her feet, the user is able to walk up trees and other vertical surfaces in a similar fashion to walking along the ground. Users with low control 2 or lower will often fall during the use of this technique, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's stamina stat times 3.

A variation of the Act of Tree Climbing technique, this jutsu requires the user to focus a precise and balanced amount of charka into the soles of his/her feet. Users with low control 2 or lower are much more likely to fall through the surface of the water, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's stamina stat times 3.

After completing the necessary handseals, the user is able to quickly substitute his/her body with a nearby object that is at least 2/3rds his/her size, but no bigger than their body. This substitution allows the object to take the force of the attack that was meant for the user, additionally allowing the user to create distance between him/her and the opponent. The object used in this jutsu may not be objects that are imbued with chakra or controlled by it, and they may also only be single, solid objects within a 20 yard radius of the user. This technique may only be used a total of one time in a single thread, give or take how many times Shunshin no Jutsu has already been used.

Through the studies of the facial muscles, and the background of Ko's lineage, Ko can control the basic muscles in his face. The use of this ability is to make the user more believable in his lies, or even seem more friendly towards other. Limited only to the lips and cheeks to remain under Ko's control, unless under stressful situations.

Used by Ko and his understanding of human movements, he has trained in the art of misdirection. The use of this disciplined action allows Ko to catch the attention of his opponent through any hand to hand action, and strike from a different side. (Example: Throwing a right punch that causes the opponent to react to, while a thrown kunai or another form of attack is aimed from Ko's left side). Perceptive user's might be able to see through this.

Crowd Blend
D-Rank Discipline
By using a group (minumum of 3) of people, Ko can blend into their "circle" and become as he was with them the whole time. Using skills in Stealth, and espionage, Ko remains in the group for up to 4 posts, adapting to their manners and habits, he attempts to make himself stand become part of the population. If instinct is at or higher than Ko's, this attempt could be seen through.

History

The Hatching A day came when a young boy was born into the village of Konohagakure, the village hidden in the leaves. On this day, a boy who will be known as Komori, was born to the family of the Aburame. Insect tammers as what they were known for. Komori was given to the leader of the Aburame's when he was old enough. The leader brought him to the queen of their hive, the Kikaichū, where her spawns were placed inside the young boy to become a symbiotic host.

Over the course of a few years, Ko was trained to understand and respect the Insects living inside him. To get used to the creatures was a task in itself. But to use them, that was where it became difficult. As an Aburame, their main ability was their Kikaichū, and also their main strength. As the years went by of training with his new found friends, Ko became proficient in the basic of commands. Where he would then develope more from becoming a shinobi of the Leaf.
The Chrysalis At the age of eight, Ko was brought into the Ninja Academy in the village. He was already showing signs of resentment towards the clan, and started to become more isolated from people in general, so his parents believed it was time to force that out of him. With his skills growing in the Aburame traits, and his working knowledge of the world, they wanted the academy to whip him into shape and help discipline the boy. Over another several years, Ko learned and studied the arts of chakra. Learning basic skills like tree climbing and walking on water. It was widely known that he was different from the others. He stayed to himself, even during class sessions, not bothering to talk to anyone. Reclusive by nature, Ko would go to school, learn from the instructors and then head home. Where he would remain isolated from his parents and clansmen alike, to the best of his own abilities. Ko relied heavily on his companionship with his Kikaichū and often seen them more as friends then even people could be. When Ko reached the age of twelve, he was able to graduate from the academy, but his isolation persisted.

The Re-Hatching
Genin. A time of learning and developing. For Ko it was a big step. His ego still grew, and so did his skills as a shinobi, but also his view on life. More importantly the village life. Ko was already seen as an outcast, a boy without the "Will of Fire" was an odd sight. He outwardly spoke of his ill thoughts on the village, never hiding anything back. But his personality and ego took the best of him, making him believe he was much better and far greater then anyone in the little village he called the "Cage." He was eventually placed on a team, which ended up disbanding from complications. Leaving the young boy to be able to isolate himself more from others. But in his times as a Genin, Ko learned from various others, and countless times he grew more mature from each one. It wasn't long before he was able to test for the Chuunin Exams.

The Beauty of Wings
Finally becoming a Chuunin, Ko now at the age of sixteen, he was given more freedom. He lived alone, still within the compound of the Aburame, but in his own flat. He lived only with his insects, not just from his own hive. They were his family now. Ko still despised the Aburame, mainly for the path they have chosen, but the boy became more cordial towards others. Still on the ego trip, Ko manifested his skills in being an espionage master. Tactfully coordinating with his hive to have, as he says, strength in numbers. His encounters with people away from the village gave him better perspective of life, how it is to live outside of walls, and free, as the boy came to relate it to. It is here, as a sixteen year old boy, chuunin of one of the five great nations, that Ko finds his journey still beginning. The choice of leading or leaving ever present, the choice of a life time will soon have to be made.
