Keisan Arashino
There is no power without precision.

General Information Age: 15
Gender: male
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 215 lbs
Physical Features: Having to travel from a very young age, Keisan has always been a slender and toned individual. He lacks any noticeable body fat, being comprised mostly of lean tight muscles. Although he is fit he in no way resembles a body body builder. In fact in his signature loose fitting kimono he could even be mistaken for malnourished. Despite the constant exposure to the sun that is part of life as a shinobi, Keisans complexion is seemingly always slightly pale.

Straight flowing hair of a whitish silver color, rarely seen outside his family, reaches just past his shoulders typically tied in a ponytail. His face lacks any facial hair which is another trait that's common in his family. As the case with the rest of his body his face lacks a certian 'fullness' that is common, making it appear as though his face is sunken in. This fact is compounded by his long jawline that ends in a pronounced and slightly protruding chin. Keisan has no notable scars or blemishes.

Keisans wardrobe is almost a uniform. Consisting of a light tanned leather vest, A lavish purple kimono with the Kumogakure village symbol embroidered in gold on the back, and a black gi. Although the lavish kimono wast exactly practical, Keisan had asked his mother to have it commissioned in honor of his father who had always worn a similar kimono on his business trips.
Clothing/Accessories: Keisan often wears circular glasses, and is usually in a purple kimono with a kumogakure insignia embroidered in gold on the back with a gold sash to tie it. Underneath he wears a black leather vest and black gi. His shoes are custom made by a family leatherworker, and closely resemble black combat boots with a steel plate in the sole.
Picture:
Personality: Keisan is still at an impressionable age, so he is far from being defined as a person. However the traumatic loss of his father has shaped his current mentality. When faced with the unknown, he is quiet and vigilant. He lacks trust in most people and tends to only really be open around his family. However, one of his traits that he shows even when around those he doesn't trust is his sarcastic nature. Its worth noting that his sarcasm is much more light hearted around those he's close to.

Keisan also harbors an unhealthy thirst for vengeance directed at his fathers killer, although this is more of a well guarded secret that a defining point of his character. It can be said that the genin lacks empathy in many situations, especially towards people he doesn't know or trust. While its quite a hurdle the few that do gain his trust are for all intents and purposes considered family to him.

A focal point of Keisans mentality is his strong determination to never be helpless again. As such he is a diligent student that pushes himself to his limits without encouragement. He fears the loss of anyone else close to him, and when faced with such a threat can be uncharacteristically irrational.
  • General:
  • Combat Mentality: Keisan prefers to wear out his opponent's while reading them. Most of his attacks are to examine the oppositions defenses and utilize minimal energy. When he starts to feel outmatched he switches to an all out offensive in an attempt to weaken his enemies with poison

33 oz Poison of Sloth- airborne powder
Poison of the sloth is a powdered form of yellow jasmine root that works by causing unresponsiveness in random muscle groups. The extract of the roots are mixed with a powder solvent that travels easily by air, but unfortunately weakens the concentration due to it's low saturation threshold. This solution afflicts the infected person with -1 speed per post for 5 posts, at the 7th post the debuff will start to wear off adding +2 back to the targets per turn until the debuff is removed competently . (stored in powder dispenser.)

X2 2ft Wakizashi strapped across his back.

Gloves with 2 senbon attached on either side of both index knuckles. Stored on his right hip.

4 steel vial cases designed to secure 5 vials a piece. Each vial is sealed with a semi-permeable cap that allows senbon to pass through and reseals.(sown into inside of kimono.)

4 1 liter cone shaped powder dispensers stitched inside of his kimono above his waist.

4 Kunai attached to keisan's sash by his left hip.

*Tracking Device
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
The most basic tracking technique available, Tracking Device requires the user to first imbue a strand of their own hair with chakra. Once this has been done, s/he will place it on their target. The user can track the general location of the strand of hair as long as it remains within a mile, at a minimum distance of 100 yards, of where s/he is currently. Otherwise, the chakra will dissipate at the end of six (6) posts
FuutonShow
*Wind Element • Wind Skating
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move faster (+3 speed) but lowers their accuracy (-3 Taijutsu). This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off.

Wind Element • Poison pellets
D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
This technique was developed by Keisan to administer his poisons. After forming a string of handseals, he draws a handful of poison and infuses it with fuuton chakra. Finally he throws it and it forms 3 wind pellet projectiles that contain a poison (powder form). These pellets move at a speed of 8 and hit at a strength of 4. )Once the pellets make contact the poison disperses into a cloud about 2 foot in diameter.

*Wind Element • Wind Launch Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing the needed hand seals, a tightly packed circular gust of wind forms right at the feet of the user. The moment someone leaps on it, it sends that person flying in the direction they jumped on it. It's quite powerful and can send an average-sized person and anything else that lands on it over fifteen yards at their base speed in a straight line. It disappears after one use or lasts unused for three posts. A strength of four or higher is required to resist the effect of this technique

*Wind Element • Air Cushion
D-rank Ninjutsu
After forming a short string of hand seals, air will compact itself into a 4 meter radius "cushion" of sorts that is used to soften a fall from a great height. This won't prevent all damage but it will prevent major injury. It can be used up to twenty yards away from the user. It lasts until the end of the post it’s used in and dissipates after one use.

*Wind Element • Great Breakthrough
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
By performing the needed hand seals and bringing their hands to their mouth, the user can release an incredible blast of air. This blast of air moves outward in a cone shape with a five foot radius at the end of the cone and moves with a speed of six. Once it makes contact with a substance, the wind both cuts at it and pushes it away. The cone causes cuts that are deep enough to bleed a fair amount and the air is rather strong, pushing with a strength of five. This blast goes out for a maximum of thirty feet if it doesn't hit anything, where it will dissipate into the surrounding air.

Wind Element • Sensory Air Dome
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Sensory air dome is a fuuton technique that Keisan developed with his sensory concentration. First he must perform the "rabbit" handseal while dispersing fuuton chakra around himself until there is enough around him to form a thin invisible film in the shape of a dome. Once active Keisan can feel any non gas disturbance that passes through the film allowing to react to threats he otherwise couldn't perceive. While this technique is useful it has its limits, first while keisan can perceive an incoming threat faster he can only react proportionally to his physical speed. This tecnique can be maintained for a number of posts equal to the users ninjutsu, control, and stamina divided by 5. The effect and size of this skill is also proportional to the users ability as follows:
Control
5 or less= 5 ft
6-10=10ft
11-15=15ft
16-19= 3 domes formed at 15ft, 10ft, and 5ft
20+= 20 foot dome with complete awareness of any changes in air pressure within that perimeter.

*Fuuton • Wind Clone
C-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will create a clone out of their fuuton chakra. This clone will be able to act entirely independently of the user for 5 posts before dissipating, with physical capabilities equal to the stats listed below. This clone applies the fuuton passive to enemies it touches.

*Chakra Mask
E-Ranked Ninjutsu
Not unlike the Chakra Gloves technique, Chakra Mask shines when the real deal is not on hand. After forming a single handseal, the user will focus chakra into the area around his/her mouth and nose to form a thin layer of chakra around them. This chakra will help to keep the user from breathing bacteria onto a patient during procedures. This technique can be held as long as the user has chakra.

*Bandage Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A simple yet vital medical technique, the Bandage Technique provides its users with the ability to create makeshift bandages out of any suitable material they desire. After channeling chakra into an object (such as a leaf, piece of cloth, etc.), the user is able to apply it to the wound of a patient. Once applied, the selected object will adhere to the flesh around the wound, protecting it from bacteria and other harmful foreign bodies. Users of this technique must be wary, as using an object that is dangerous or unsterilized is just as harmful as leaving it uncovered. These bandages will hold on their own for five (5) posts, but the duration can be increased by the user adding more chakra periodically.

*Sterilization Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
As sanitation cannot always be guaranteed in field operations, this technique provides a quick substitute to traditional sterilization methods. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel the chakra throughout his/her upper body (torso, arms, hands, face). This chakra will chew away at harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies on the skin, cleansing it until it is thoroughly sterile. Of course, this takes both concentration and time, and in order to sterilize the entire upper body, it will take a duration of one (1) post. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead for a lesser concentration period. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.

*Utensil Sterilization
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Not unlike the Sterilization Technique, this jutsu focuses on sanitizing key instruments in many operations. However, rather than cleansing the body, it is used to cleanse utensils. After channeling chakra into a utensil in the user's hand, harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies that reside on its surface will be eaten away until it is thoroughly sterile. Depending on the size of the object being sterilized, this will take more or less concentration and time. These objects remain sterile until coming in contact with more bacteria.

*Chakra Stitching
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
When traditional stitching supplies aren't available, Chakra Stitching truly shines. After performing a short set of handseals, the user will gently place his/her index finger at the base of the patient's wound. Once this is done, the user will lift his/her finger and touch it to the other side of the wound, causing a visible 'stitch' of chakra to appear. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Although precision is key, this technique can still be performed relatively quickly. Small to moderate wounds take very little time to stitch, while large wounds will take one (1) post of work to mend. This technique lasts for four (4) posts.

History
Historical AccountsShow
Keisan lived most of his life living with Fujimoto and Asari, his father and mother respectively. Although his family consisted of successful merchants, Fujimoto had harsh standards for his boys. Keisan and Atsu, Keisans's younger brother, were expected to load and unload their wagon each time Fujimoto had business. As a result both of the brothers would accompany their father whenever he had travel to a venue or make a delivery. This work strained the two young boys when they began, however years of repetition hardened them. Much of their time was spent on these journeys, so much in fact they rarely saw their mother or stayed at the family estate on the outskirts of Kumogakure.

When he was thirteen his life changed drastically. While traveling to fire country a rouge shinobi attacked the caravan. To his untrained eyes it had seemed like the 5 samurai had just spontaneously split in half. The black clad shinobi had made it right up to the first wagon before the two brothers even were aware that he existed, however Fujimoto already understood. "You'd better stay away from my wagons, you'll never ge..." The shinobi apparently had no time for the man's empty threats and severed the words at their source. The state of shock that engulfed Keisan was overpowered by instinctual fear at the sight of his fathers severed head. Without hesitating he ran for his brother and started dragging him to back to the village at his top speed. luckily whatever the assailant was interested in was a priority as the figure made no effort to stop them. After the incident Kumagakure had launched an inquiry into the incident to no avail.

That day would greatly alter the young mans path. Not only did it push Keisan to resolve that he'd never be so helpless again, but it even drove him to become his families first shinobi. For the next year he drove himself to the limit countless times in his self imposed trails in the mountains surrounding kumogakure. The frenzied regimens of exercise left Keisan feeling revitalized and gave him all the preparation he felt he would need for Shinobi training, it was time.

His days in the ninja academy were trying at first. although he possessed physical prowess, he had no experience with chakra until the academy. Through determination and perseverance Keisan would eventually surpass a majority of his peers. Out of a desire to keep those still in his life alive he decided train in the less popular field of Iijutsu, and spent most of his later half of his time at the academy studying poisons and learning lijutsu.
