Sometimes it doesn't take a thousand papercuts, if you apply a little elbow grease and good ol' fashioned technique.

General Information Age: 12
Gender: Female
Height: 4'03"
Weight: 72 lbs
Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Grey eyes, ruby-red hair, slight freckling on the cheeks (only a handful on each one, in the process of disappearing)
  • Body: Slim, petite, underdeveloped chest and waist line. Has a minor detail on her six-pack from having to haul heavy deer and the like to her hut to skin and cook.
  • Notable Features:Her abs are probably slightly more built up than one might expect for someone her age, especially a female. Also seems to constantly have cuts, ranging from minor to majour, over various parts of her body. She attributes these to training and hunting. Nothing scarring, yet.
Clothing/Accessories:
She has 2 leg pouches and 2 quivers; one for holding her bigger arrows and one for holding the smaller arrows. She carries an onyx that is covered in a barely-noticeable red overshine pendant, a keepsake from one of her parents, and keeps a ninja headband -- blue with a simple metal plate, no village logo, with her to remind her of her parents. This is usually carried in her travel backpack to keep it out of sight of those that ask too many questions.

She generally wears a black, skin-tight sleeveless shirt covered by a tactical vest with short sleeves which is bigger than her. This means she often keeps it unzipped so it can flow as it needs to around her. This also helps with storing knicknacks she loots, and perhaps invidual smokebombs and the like she'll horde later. Long-sleeved fishnet top. Dark blue loose-fitting but not completely flowing pants. Fishnet leggings under that. Standard shinobi sandals.

Personality:
  • General: Stoic and serious, Kienna sincerely wants people to take her and her craft seriously. She tends to overcompensate to try and not to be a burden to anyone else, and hates it when she has to rely on others as well, having been self-sufficient from a young age. She also puts relatively low value on money, but not because she's been rich her entire life -- quite the opposite; she just can't seem to grasp what money is needed for, and likewise scoffs at things priced highly, especially luxuries. On the other hand, despite scoffing at them, she really values small trinkets with a strange and unique flair to them. She also has a playful side, being so young, and coaxing it out can lead to her being quite devious and slightly sarcastic, for lack of a better term.
  • Hopes/Dreams: To become the best archer in all the lands, proving that she can keep up with dedicated Ninjutsu users.
  • Fears: The fact that her dedication to archery may be a hinderance to a team she's with.
  • Combat Mentality: Much like her Nindo, she plans to attack an enemy as many times as needed to bring them down. She takes the general idea of 'death by a thousand papercuts' and twists it. She tends to like to know where her enemy is, without them knowing where she is. It sounds simple, but it makes arrows easier to hit if they don't see them coming.

Flawless Aim Style:
This style of combat is favored by specialists preferring to use projectiles, often serving as a staple for taijutsu-based projectile users. Focusing on the synergy between their hands and senses they strive to make their reach as far as possible with flawless aim.
Requires [Projectile Weaponry] and [Upper Body] concentrations
  • *[Flawless Aim Style • Multi-shot]
    D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner is able to knock multiple arrows upon a single shot, loosing all of them simultaneously. Their accuracy suffers from this, taking a cumulative -2 Strength for each additional shot.
  • *[Flawless Aim Style • Sentinel Stance]
    D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
A stable and steady stance practiced by nearly all wishing to use projectiles. At this stage they are planted and focusing on their arms and shoulders, moving in smooth motions to mitigate unnecessary movements that may ruin their aim.
  • *[Flawless Aim Style • Tracking]
    D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
This allows the user to hit a moving target so long as it is moving in a way predictable to the user. They must still take into account travel time, and sudden changes in path will still affect the outcome.
  • *[Flawless Aim Style • Rapid Shot]
    D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The user will hold multiple projectiles in their hands to reduce the amount of time needed between each shot. When required they can quickly and fluidly draw more projectiles and keep up a steady stream of attacks. However, while utilizing this Stance the users feet must be planted, limiting the range of their assault, and their ability to be mobile while using it.
  • *[Flawless Aim Style • Twisting Path]
    C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By adding a spin to the weapon before it is launched the user is able to give the it a warping motion as it flies through the air. With much practice, the user is able to predict the weapon’s shifting motion and aim accordingly. This can be used to hit a target that is hiding behind another person or object, and is especially useful against a human shield.
  • *[Flawless Aim Style • Ricochet Shot]
    C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By launching their shot at the proper angle the practitioner is capable of bouncing their projectile off solid surfaces without losing accuracy. Any surface they bounce off causes the projectile to lose ⅕ of its impact strength and soft or uneven surfaces are impossible to bounce off.
Close Quarters Marksmanship:
This style of combat is usually used to counter the marksman's most common weakness; close quarters combat. This allows them to do so without sacrificing space or training to learn and carry melee weapons or dedicate time to unarmed combat, or simply to catch their opponents off-guard. Users of this style strive to use their bows as a melee weapon and stay calm with enemies up close to them and aim true, firing quickly without sacrificing the strength of the draw if possible.
Requires [Projectile Weaponry] and [Hafted Weapons] concentrations
  • [Close Quarters Marksmanship • Vault]
    D - Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user simply launches themselves off either the opponent or a piece of terrain such as a wall and fires the bow quickly towards their target. The accuracy of the shot doesn't take much of a hit, but one can't necessarily get the full draw of the bow in this movement, making the impact of the shot be at a penalty of -1 Strength.
  • [Close Quarters Marksmanship • Feint Shot]
    D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The premise of this technique is simple, yet tricky to pull off. The user fires at one location, as a bluff, then knocks and fires an arrow quickly at their true target. This can be used to distract someone into looking at a 'missed' shot to making them block the first shot to leave them open to the second, or any other use the user can think of. The first shot, however, must be intended to be used as a distraction for the second, true shot.
  • [Close Quarters Marksmanship • Ricochet]
    C - Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user fires an arrow with such precision that they can bounce an arrow off a hard object of their choosing, and using mathematics, hit the general location that they want. Of course, precision isn't guaranteed, and the arrow takes a -2 to strength and speed for every bounce it makes.
  • [Close Quarters Marksmanship • Disarming Blow]
    C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
This technique utilizes the unique curvature of a bow, the user flings their bow over the opponent's weapon and twists, attempting to disarm the opponent of their weapon. If the user has 2 or more strength than the opponent, the opponent is sure to lose grasp of their weapon. Otherwise, it'll be up to chance if it works or not.
  • [Close Quarters Marksmanship • Shunt Shot]
    B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
This Technique uses the user's strength to strike the opponent with an open palm, attempting to push away an opponent in order to send them flying, then rapidly unloads a series of arrows into their opponent's body. Only able to push opponents with their strength or lower, otherwise the opponent would just simply overpower them. The opponent is pushed back a distance equal to the difference of strength, but no less than 1 foot. This generally is between 3 to 5 arrows, though having an ability that allows one to fire faster can make one fire up to double the shots.

History
Historical AccountsShow
Kienna was born to Missing-nin in secret, in the middle of nowhere in the woods. They never spoke of their past to her, never mentioning their homeland of Fire Country, or if they did, they only mentioned it as if they had been tourists. Her parents even managed to make their hideaway relatively hidden from others. There, they raised their daughter, teaching her the ways of the bow and self-sustenance, knowing that their time would come when they would be found out. Because of this, they taught her from an early age that death is just a cycle of life, and rather than show sorrow at a life's passing, celebrate the life they lived. They were careful never to teach her anything related to Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, lest she become an unwitting missing-nin herself. At least this way, she had plausible deniability. They even used different names for themselves and gave her a false last name so hunters would believe that she had no relation to them.

They had fled to the Rice Country, a bordering country from their native country, and set up shop under a new name, placing a ward around their small haven that they had built for themselves to keep people from straying too close unless they knew who lived there. It was simple enough to keep the locals and the Hunters after them at bay for some years, during which time the parents had learned of the underground market and plied their trade for minor missions (escorts of no-named people being the most they did) and sold what they dared to of their gear. Eventually, they shared this knowledge with their daughter, and who to trade with and who to avoid.

Eventually, the time came that her parents knew that their gig was up. They explained to their 9-year-old daughter that they were actually ninja from a ninja village -- something cool to her, but she also knew what that meant. When Kienna asked why her mother wouldn't say where she was from, she simply shook her head and said that it'd make it harder for Hunter-Nin to track her down. While she had never been taught the ways on Ninjutsu or anything chakra related, they had driven her to train with her bow, to train her Taijutsu, just in case a confrontation was inevitable. She knew the risk of Hunters were a real thing, but never like this. So when they finally explained what they were, and that they had to leave her for her own safety, she knew she wouldn't see them again. Either they'd successfully hide and she wouldn't be able to find them again, or they'd be captured and most likely killed. Kienna kept up her own existence, training her Taijutsu further and further on her own. She knew the risks; yet at the same time, she almost hoped to be noticed. If she could get into one of the majour Villages, perhaps they would take her into their Shinobi ranks. Maybe she could find out what happened to her parents once and for all.

For the next three years, she kept training, kept sustaining herself. Yet, as she grew and her needs and wants grew, she realized she'd eventually have to use money. There was a small stockpile -- a farewell gift from her parents, along with an onyx pendant with a slight red shine -- but it'd run out eventually. So she turned to fur trading, as well as trading stockpiles of weapons and food she'd scavenge from nature itself or from fallen shinobi and other merchants. It was a tough world to live in, after all, and no day was guaranteed to carry on to the next. Perhaps this could be her in. She'd only been trading a few months by now, but it was a good way to gain connections -- good or bad. Using the Underground of the Rice Country to sell the more... controversial items she looted, she hopes to get enough of a name for herself that by the time she comes on the radar of other countries, they will be interested in having her join, rather than trying to kill her.
