- General: Born and raised in the countryside, Harumi is understandably naive and mostly ignorant of the world, matters outside of the farm and nearby villages being of no real concern to her. While she can be very friendly and sociable, her upbringing has led to her being a little awkward around other people, she has a great amount of love and understanding towards plants and animals, being able to tell what they need or what they're feeling on a near subconscious level.

Harumi was born and raised in the land of grass, the third child of a pair of farmers. While the couple was a bit unsettled by the prospect of raising a third child on the small amount of money that their crops and animal products brought in, they loved her all the same and were determined to raise her the best they could. Needless to say, it was certainly difficult, but proved to be worth the struggle as their little girl was happy and healthy, though very energetic, her elder brothers thankfully being more than willing to help keep her entertained, when the trio weren't helping their parents with work at least. While she herself didn't spend a great deal of time working with the crops, she instead spent a lot of time with the various animals that their family had raised, she and her mother working together to care for them while her father and brothers took care of the plants.
And so, aside from eventually becoming friends with the children of the nearby villages and having more tasks thrust onto her as she got older, her life has remained largely the same since the time of her birth, and really she's not eager for that to change any time soon.
