[Accepted]Inka Big Change!

Post by Ace Trainer » Thu Nov 10, 2016 10:46 am

Application: Inka
Change:
Inka is getting three new abilities in exchange for his current ability. This is followed by two posts, one includes the coded version of it, the other includes the nocoded version. You can take the nocode and replace the "Soul Genma" post on Inka's app with the entirety of the nocode. And you can remove the entire ability section from Inka's main app. I'll make other consequential changes to Inka in another mod.

Payment: Post = 3000 word "transformation" post, as required by the rules.

Kojikogu Hell Child

I am a product of this World.
And this World is a product of Me

Inka is a Kojikogu, a byproduct of Inka experimenting with his own soul. Through various processes he has bound his soul together with the [Soul Genma], fractured it into pieces, and corrupted it. Inka has a Single Transformation that he enters called the Hell Child state. The Kojikogu form takes up 3 Ability Slots, granting three distinct skill sets to Inka.
Abilities
Hell ChildHitodama CreationShinsei
The transformation for the Kojikogu ability itself, the Hell Child ability involves the user entering a transformed state that grants access to Shijutsu, our jutsu involving soul manipulation. This transformation is a toggle, involving an essentially an on-off switch. The user's mastery stat has been converted to a Soul stat which determines the extent of the Shijutsu the user can utilize. An unintentional byproduct of the Kojikogu transformation, Inka's soul has become corrupt and fractured. This allows Inka to actually split off parts of his soul, and treat his own body like a resurrected soul. The most important aspect of this skill is that if Inka's soul is no longer bound to his body specifically, and can instead attach itself to anything to maintain his life. An additional shift in Inka's soul, Inka has become more or less a resurrection himself. This means that Inka is able to use his body like he does with a resurrected body. Primarily, this means Inka is able to use jutsu that he would use on resurrected bodies, to include siphoning off emotions, pain, and so forth. This also means Inka is dead, and no longer requires biological functions to live (oxygen, food, water, etc).
Effects
  • Being a Kojikogu gives the users black sclera, white chakra, and black rings around their wrists.
  • Inka's personality has been compounded with the Soul genma, giving him a "holier-than-thou" attitude that drives him to act like he is better than everyone around him.
  • Kojikogu are essentially Jinchuurinki that cannot be unbound. This means when he is in his Hell Child state, Inka is still susceptible to all the effects of Shizumeru, but lack a Mastery stat to reduce, and the spirit cannot be forced out of him. When not in his Hell Child state, Shizumeru has no effect on Inka.
  • All Shijutsu, Hitodama, and Shizan jutsu require that Inka be in the Kojikogu form, and run off of the Soul stat.
  • When Inka enters this state, his skin becomes blood red, darkening almost instantly. From his back, white chakra will form a cloak that wraps around his entire body, flowing off of him as wind billows. From within the cloak, Inka's bright red skin will contrast against it, giving his body an almost reddish glow from within the cloak. The cloak hangs thick around his neck, but leaves his entire head exposed. Inka's eyes change from their black scleras, to being entirely black with a single gold ring that shines with an intense brightness. When using soul jutsu, they're temporarily turn white before changing back to gold. Inka's skin is hot to touch while in this state, but doesn't physically burn him or anyone else.
    Rules and Definitions
Kojikogu,Hell Child:
Kojikogu
Kojikogu is a name out of legend. Long ago, before written history, when the genma ruled the world is was not uncommon for the Soul Genma, Shishire, to take humans and fool around with their souls, perverting their nature and casting them out from humanity. These so called Kojikogu as they were named, Hell Children, gained access to profound and unique abilities, but would be rejected by villages and feared, eventually dying alone. In the end, they were delegated to mythos, alongside the genma.

In reality, Hell Children are very much real, and a product of a unique binding similar to Jinchuurinki. While Jinchuurinki are bound via Shizumeru, uniting two chakra sources, Kojikogu are bound via Shijutsu, binding two souls together instead. As a result, Kojikogu are nearly impossible to unbind, as Shijutsu is required to unbind them, and there is only one person known to be capable of using Shijutsu, the Soul Genma host. This can be fortunate, or unfortunate, depending on the perspective of the possible victims. As listed above, Kojikogu are subject to Shizumeru when they are in their spirit mode, but when not, Shizumeru has no effect on them. Kojikogu have a 9th stat which dictates their skills accessible in their Hell Child state.

While being a Kojikogu is not necessarily more powerful than a Jinchuurinki, it does offer advantages that being a Jinchuurinki does not, but also lacks some things Jinchuurinki offer.
Shijutsu,Soul Jutsu:
Shijutsu are jutsu that involve manipulating the soul. When Inka enters his Kojikogu state, he gains access to any Shijutsu he may know. Shijutsu can do a wide variety of things, but can be broken down into 3 subsections: Interaction, Manipulation, Ressurection.
Interaction: Interaction Shijutsu involves passive manipulation of the Soul. These are things like gaining information about a person from their soul, looking into souls, communicating with souls, and so forth. Interaction Shijutsu don't actually impact the soul in any way, but are instead tactical maneuvers typically.
Manipulation: Manipulation Shijutsu are active effects on the Soul. This involves things like attacking peoples souls, or moving them. As the Soul is intimately entangled with everything in the body, Soul Manipulation can be used to cause both physical and psychological ailments, such as sensory deprivation, pain, paralysis, mental trauma, and so forth. The user is also able to do things like take pieces of peoples souls, move them around, change bodies between souls, and so forth.
Resurrection Arguably the strongest Shijutsu type, resurrection involves taking souls that have already passed onto the next life and pulling them back to this world, sometimes creating bodies for them, sometimes returning them to their bodies. While this is a temporary measure, it is incredibly powerful as it allows the host to create undead servants for them.
Souls:
To Inka, Souls present themselves as small silver-blue flames. While jutsu are needed to actually be able to interact with them, all non-resurrection Shijutsu are channeled as they are typically considered NinTai. Interacting with Souls requires a "border" ninjutsu to be active, which allows Inka to reach across the border between the physical world and souls, and physically interact with them despite the physical world. While using these techniques, Inka can actually reach into people to grab their souls and so forth, though they can still fight his body as if it was physical with no effect to them.

Having access to resurrection means Inka loses all his companion slots. Instead, he has 5 [Soul Slots], which can be filled with resurrections based on his Soul stat.
Resurrection:
Resurrecting a Soul is a complex process. Always requiring hand seals, resurrecting requires Inka to use his body as a conduit across the plane, and pull a soul from the other side back to the human realm. Inka's Soul stat determines the size of the Souls he's allowed to resurrect. All resurrected souls, whether they are reinserted in their body or a body is made for them, are subject to the same limits they would be in life. While their bodies are "dead" and don't bleed, they still experience pain, are subject to genjutsu, and will be released if the body is "killed". The body must be repaired before their soul can be placed back in it.

Souls sizes are explained in the table below:
Soul LevelBeingsEquivilent Pet RankingEquals to
PettyThese are primarily animals smaller than a dog, but exclude anything at the top of it's own food chain (things like birds of prey etc)D-rank Pet-
LesserThese are animals the size of a dog to the size of a donkey, and can include birds of prey, but not anything else at the top of it's food chain.C-rank Pet2 Petty
CommonThese are animals from the size of a donkey, to a horse. And can include beings at the top of it's food chain.B-rank Pet2 Lesser
GreaterIncludes anything larger than a horse.A or S-rank Pet2 Common
GrandThis is humans, and S-rank pets. All humans are grand soul size.D-S-rank shinobi2 Greater
When resurrected, normal animals are treated as pets, and stats must be allocated to them upon their resurrection via the jutsu; the stats need to make sense, and you do not have to use all the stats if they do not logically fit (i.e: a lizard may have 2 speed, but would have 1's in everything else, despite being "equal to" a d-rank companion.

Bodiless resurrection requires that the being getting resurrected would have logically died in the arena, no resurrecting a chimpanzee in the middle of an ocean, or a fish in the middle of a desert. All other resurrections require the actual body of the being to be present, for the soul to repossess the body.

Souls are naturally drawn to their bodies, so moving souls or breaking them away from their bodies only functions as a temporary measure. Eventually, the soul will return to it's body. The jutsu should specify how long it works until the soul tries to return to it's body.
Hitodama,Human Soul:
Hitodama are fractured parts of Human Souls left in the human world. Unlike normal souls, these are only partial souls, and did not "die" so they are incapable of passing onto the next realm. The creation of Hitodama is complex, and corrupts the person splitting their soul, typically having adverse affects on their physical appearance.

Two things can be done with Hitodama, they can either be stored in the body and be used as a "second life" or they can be stored elsewhere.

When a Hitodama is stored within the body, it acts as a "second life". The user is able to designate any amount of stamina into a part of their soul. Should the user die, the second part of the soul activates. Because Inka is a resurrection now and a body cannot be resurrected unless it's capable of being alive, the soul sits in standby until the body is repaired. When it does, the body is resurrected as if it was a resurrection jutsu, and the soul takes hold in the body, permanently reviving the body. The user designates which soul is their "primary" soul (which dies when first killed), which is their "secondary", "tertiary", and so forth. Each part of their soul has to have a designated amount of stamina, which is lost if that soul dies. However, the user has access to the entirety of the stamina stored inside them even if it's split between multiple parts.

Alternatively, Inka can store his soul in an object. So long as the object remains on his person, Inka has access to the stamina stored within the object. However, the object can act as an "anchor" of sorts, actually being a conduit for Inka to resurrect himself away from his body. Inka does not have to die in order to do this, but can "dispel" his current resurrected body. The object with his soul within it will then activate, reforming his body as it would for a common soul. All parts of his soul that were dispelled with his body will return with the new body. The new body has all injuries and ailments from before it was dispelled. This does not make Inka immortal, he suffers from injuries and ailments as he would any other person, and can die like any other person. But is a byproduct of his body no longer being a true body, and instead a resurrected body. The soul takes a period of time to restabilized, the stabilization period is x+1, where x is the number of times Inka has dispelled his body in the thread. While his body is re-stabilizing he cannot dispel it again.
Shinsei,Rebirth:
Shinsei is an ability by Inka that is a byproduct of his Kojikogu state. While it could be said that Inka has two states, a spirit state and a human state, the reality is a little more indirect. Inka's human form has more or less died, and the body his new soul occupies is in something of an intermittent state between the two realms. His body, for all intents and purposes, is dead. This means that Inka's body does not require anything for sustainment. He does not need to breath, eat, drink water, or any other biological functions. Additionally, Inka is able to use any jutsu designed for ressurections on himself, meaning he can siphon off parts of his soul, either temporarily or permanently, in order to cease certain functions. Or he can modify his soul or body as a resurrection with various jutsu.

Can you expand on your Shinsei section a little, for the most part it sounds to me like it functions more or less like an elemental body in regards to biological functions, I assume it can't be poisoned either my issue is with the siphoning off of bits and bobs from yourself which feels fushinkou-esque

The siphoning off parts of his soul is part of the soul genma's ability in manipulating souls. All I'm doing is using an ability slot to be able to shift that to Inka being able to do it to himself.

I kept a backup of the removed Soul genma post & ability section, just in case you ever need it.
