❦Daihekei Yuu❦
General Information
Yuu has a gentle face, faded much like the rest of his family into a smooth watercolor of warm beige hues contrasting with the mist on humid days in Kirigakure. What stands out from the mask of indifference stained on his face is his bright blue eyes. His light grey hair flows in the wind of the summer breeze as bangs hang down on either side of his face, leaving a blank space in the middle for his headband to show. In the back his hair is bunched up at his shoulders into a small ponytail. Like a grand Oak starting its long and prosperous life Yuu’s body is small but growing everyday. He doesn't mind being as short as he is and all of his body parts seem to be proportional, giving him excellent control of maneuvering around. Boyhood activities like climbing trees would come naturally to him, as he often spent time in nature, fixated on the world and how his body was apart of the vast network of life. Clothing/Accessories Yuu wears pale colors that give subtle tones of calmness and collection. He sports a simple black long sleeve shirt, fitting well, with the word Kirigakure diagonally written from the middle of his chest moving down towards the lower left side of his back, in bold light blue letters. Often on missions he wears a faded light tan trench coat in which lengths almost goes past his knees. His pants are regular tan pants which fit him well, ending a little above his ankles. Lastly, his footwear is classic Geta sandals. Personality Yuu works fast and efficiently, often attempting to plan out his movements in battle and in life in order to complete things with ease. Even though he likes to plan and carry out ideas of his own, by no means is he shut off or opposed to other comments or criticism, often finding that other have a lot to contribute. His only true wish is to serve Kirigakure to his fullest ability, answering the call to any and all missions. Though he still secretly wants to be involved in the unground dealings of the Kirigakure clans, having knowledge not permitted to the common people or even other ninjas of the land. To truly be apart of something bigger than himself as he protects his home is what drives him most to be a ninja. |

History Yuu grew up in a common Kirigakure household. He understood from a young age the philosophy of the way of life from the people around him. The understanding, or what a young Yuu thought was a full understanding, of the way of life and hierarchy of families in Kirigakure made him feel as though he was left out of something bigger. He wanted to be apart of the clan’s, to work for them and for Kirigakure. However, as he grew Yuu started to understand truly what power meant, and was drawn to it. To control and command were given to those of greatness, people who were trusted through years of loyalty and proof of understanding and power. Even with the chain of command that was established in Kirigakure, Yuu was not discouraged from one day breaking into the world of power. From the cool misty days of laying outside waiting for a drink to be brought by one of there few servants, to the days of training with his dad and being taught the basics of ninja life, Yuu drove through life with attentiveness and an open mind, trying to learn everything that could prove useful. Often his father would take him and walk down to a waterfall or a small patch of nature to have pretended battles and revel in what seemed to be the endless knowledge his dad had of the ninja world. His father never showed his emotions, something Yuu started to emulated at a young age. However there were times when the two sat together away from the village when Yuu watched his father dip his hand into the lazily flowing water of a small cascading waterfall, he watched as his father almost motionless let the water flow through the cracks of his finger and could feel something emulating from the stoic man. When Yuu was about eight years old his father passed, died on a mission that not even his mother was given the details of.
After hearing the news Yuu walked to his room and sat up in his bed, and for the first time in his life, he began to cry. Not a cry from pain that one hollars as a toddler, but a strong surge of real emotion overtook his body. The tears would not stop as much as he wanted them too, the shame he felt overtook his body as he wept. The tears didn't stop until he was forced into sleep by his own body fatigue. The next morning he awoke and looked at himself in the small mirror adjacent to his futon. Staring deep into his soul, looking with the foundation of his eight-year-old cliche thought of what makes a man. He vowed to never shed tears again, for the sake of his father and himself. Life was slow for a few days as Yuu and his mom fought back the memories of losing someone they shared so much love with. The funeral, however, felt fast, as people from the clan came to say words to Yuu’s mother, and generally patted him on the head, acknowledging his father's great sacrifice for the village, but grieving statements where kept short if any at all. Yuu kept his composure through it all. Life carried on from that day as his mother began to work in the city. They had to cut back on servants, down to just one, his mom's favorite, but Yuu paid no mind to it. He still found himself going back to the spots he and his dad visited in his days of youth, training in nature and continuing to practice towards his dream, to one day be that great ninja that his father was.
Yuu joined the ninja academy at the age of ten, ready for a new opportunity in the world. He got along as well as he could with the other students, often giving his best effort in group exercises and training, making those around him feel he was a good comrade. His friendship with the students wasn't rocky by any means, just distant. He didn't feel anything particularly special to any one person, going through the days with a suit and tie style of understanding for the academy, this was his job. Often he had to go home as soon as school ended as well, in order to help with chores and other things his mother needed, leaving him with little free time to associate with the other kids. Eventually, he graduated from the school, not the best student in his class but far from struggling, in fact, he emerged with a far better understanding of ninjutsu then most but lacked the physical gifts that others had. Yuu felt ready to emerge into the business of the ninja world as he received his Kirigakure headband, the same symbolic metal band his father once wore.
