Physical Features:At one point in his life Kazuto could have been described as beautiful with his long silvery hair that he usually keeps tied back and porcelain skin. He has a somewhat lanky figure, long limbs and skinny body. His hands are unusually rough for a Jinrai, having developed callouses from playing his Sanshin.
His years of training and living as a shinobi has left its mark in the form of ugly scars. Thankfully he has managed to avoid scarring his face for the moment, though which knows what the future holds. His arms legs and torso however bare testament to the rigorous training he's completed and foolhardy decisions he's made.
His bright hazel eyes give off an air of michief as if he knows a secret that no one else does and it's just killing him keeping it to himself. When paired with his signature crooked smile, one look is enough and you know he's been up to something.
Clothing/Accessories: Kazuto has remarkably simple taste in clothes for one who's grown up in an elite social society. Despite the stuffy fancy clothes his parents try to force him into, Kazuto is most often seen in a plain t-shirt and a pair of tan cargo shorts with a simple pair of sandals on his feet. His weapon pouches are located on his brown leather belt. His standard clothing is often stained with various colors of paint from his hobby which wind up on him as much as it does his canvas.
During missions he will trade out his cargo shorts for shinobi pants. He'll don the standard ninja vest over top his plain t-shirt. In place of sandals, a good pair of tactical boots can be found on his feet.
Personality: Kazuto has the spirit of a free bird. Instead of being bound by the plans and decisions of his parents, he runs off to do his own thing. He loves art and believes that art is only truely great when it can be seen. As such he's gotten in trouble quite a few times for painting the sides of buildings and such. In addition to his vandalism, he is well known for stealing cigarettes and alcohol, or doing trades using his artwork to get them.
In addition to painting, like many members of his clan,Kazuto has a multitude of talents in the arts. Taught by his parents how to dance and by his grandfather to sing and play Sanshin, he makes for a very skilled entertainer. What he fears most is being forced into politics by his parents, preferring to use his talents for others to genuinely enjoy, versus as a cover to find information as a spy or such. He dreams of traveling the world to see exotic landscapes for him to paint, sharing the beauty of the natural world with other people. It was his main motivating factor in becoming a shinobi. He thought perks of the job would include free travel.
In a fight Kazuto likes to be flashy and make a scene drawing attention to himself using bright colorful paints in his attack. Once he has the enemy'd attention he likes to stay just out of reach using acrobatic moves and quick reflexes, all the while he whittles away at the targets strength.

Equipment:His Gabuki is usually strapped across his back or broken down and stored in a brown backpack. He has two weapon pouches, one on either hip. The left pouch is holds 3 storage vials each capable of holding 1 gallon of ink or paint, and one or two brushes. The containers themselves are fairly small 8 ounce containers modified with fuuinin to store more. The right pouch holds 5 Kunai, 15 shuriken, and 15 senbon needles as well as a lighter and a pack of cigarettes. In his brown backpack he usually carries 5 blank scrolls to use with his ink style jutsu as well as some basic camping supplies.(collapsible pot, sleeping bag and eating utensils.)10 more kunai are stored in the pockets of his shinobi vest
Gabuki:
The creation of Gaki Buki, or Gabuki (Instrument Weapons), is a tradition long upheld throughout the generations of the Jinrai clan. Upon a shinobi’s graduation from the shinobi stream of the academy in Kumogakure no Sato, the shinobi is gifted with a Gabuki. This is an instrument which has been modified to allow for its use as a weapon in Taijutsu. The Gabuki are also treated, allowing the user to use it as a focus to basic channel various [Melodic Dissonance] jutsu. Kazuto's Gabuki is a traditional Sanshin that he inherited from his grandfather.

Melodic Dissonance
The Jinrai clan uses the style of Melodic Dissonance to make use of music and sound in the course of combat. The production of vibrations from chakra is only possible through the use of the Jinrai's unique chakra, which their ancestors received from interbreeding with a spirit of seduction. As such, the Jinrai can use their chakra to create or manipulate vibrations that have already been imbued with their chakra. This allows them to produce various sound and vibration related effects. This takes an ability slot for the Jinrai's unique chakra.

Fuuton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. Fuuton has an cutting effect.
Fuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/3rd the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 19 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 6 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.
Suiton:
Suiton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Suiton affinity. Suiton has a passive enveloping effect.
Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.

A ninpou style most commonly used with Doton or Suiton, but has been known to be used with Katon or Raiton, Ink style uses artistic renditions combined with chakra to cause them to come to life, creating a litany of different effects

*Fuuton • Vortex Screw
D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the user creates a small vortex of Fuuton chakra around a projectile in their hand that spins with a strength of 5. This causes the projectile to corkscrew through the air, allowing it to travel an extra 10m and applying the Fuuton passive when thrown. This doesn't make the projectile any faster, only increases its range and ability to cut.

D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the user gathers wind around their feet. Then, the user will use the wind to blast them from the ground, enabling them to leap into the air an extra 10 meters at 3 extra speed. The user also has 3 less Taijutsu until they once again touch the ground. Those with less than 5 Taijutsu (after deduction) will stumble and fall when trying to land. The Fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.
*Fuuton • Wind Skating
D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move faster (+3 speed) but lowers their accuracy and agility (-3 Taijutsu). This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user covers a projectile they are holding in fuuton empowered wind. Then, when the weapon has been thrown as normal, the user is able to change it's direction by up to 90 degrees once with no drop in momentum on the projectiles part. This technique only lasts one post.
*Suiton • Defensive Barrier
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user will spray water created from the inside of their chest through their mouth. Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. This defense is somewhat solid and can be formed in any direction the user can spit, up to five meters away. The defense is shot at a speed of 5 and has a strength of 5 and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.
*Suiton • Propel Leap
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra into their hands the user will fire two jets of water from their hand, essentially hurling and propelling themselves in the opposite direction of their jets as if thrown by a strength of 5. Can be used once to throw themselves with 5 strength.

After channelling chakra into their Gabuki, the Jinrai clan member is able to cause sounds made by the instrument to reach further than regularly, ensuring those within 150 meters can hear the music clearly. This technique lasts up to 3 posts unless ended early.

After performing the required hand seals, the user surrounds themselves in chakra, preventing their voice's vibrations from travelling as far as usual. This causes their voice to begin to fade and begin to distort after a distance of 30 meters. This technique can last up to 3 posts if not ended earlier.

After channelling chakra into their Gabuki, the jinrai clan member will play a single eighth note. The vibrations from this note will cause intense pain in the ears of those who hear it excluding the user, as if they were stabbed by a kunai.

After performing the required hand seals, the user can cause a weapon that they're holding to emit vibrating sound waves for 3 posts. The next strike made with the weapon will be accompanied by a second strike of 5 strength from the vibrations.
Change of Color
E-Rank Ninjutsu
A rather simple jutsu that simply changes the color of ink. The color change is limited to the 9 basic colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, black and white.
Inky Replacement
D-Rank Ninjutsu
While painting a replica of himself Kazuto will imbue the ink with his chakra and turn the painting into a clone of himself. The clone is weak and will dissipate after 2 or 3 hits. When the jutsu is broken or released, the ink making the clone will collapse. The clone has the following stats: taijutsu 3, speed 3, strength 3, stamina 3.
Painting of a Shuriken
D-Rank Ninjutsu
The user will imbue his chakra in to the ink as he paints out a shuriken about 6 centimeters in diameter. When completed the user will be able to pick up the shuriken and throw it like a real one. When kai'd, this shuriken explodes with a force equal to a D-Rank explosion and covers the immediate area in paint/ink. If not consumed, this technique lasts for three posts.
Aerial Recon
C-Rank Ninjutsu
The user paints a small bird while imbuing his chakra in the ink. Upon completion the bird will fly into sky 30 meters high and do a fly over, circling within 200 meters of the user twice.The bird will then return to the canvas and transform into a detailed report on what it saw (ie number of people seen, description of topography). The report will be detailed enough that the user can make an accurate map of the area surveyed from the information in the report. The bird travels at a speed of 3 however is easily destroyed.
History
Born to a fairly prominent family in the Jinrai clan his parents have poured every effort into his up bringing hoping to increase their standing in the clan. From a young age he began his training in the arts. Calligraphy, music, dance, painting; his parents invited many tutors to teach him their skills. As he was continuously taught and tutored his talent for the arts grew even greater.
As any person does Kazuto developed his own preferences in the arts, his favorite above all others being to paint. He was trained to make accurate portraits of family members before they got him to start painting portraits of officials to give as gifts. As he grew older he began to feel used by his family as they exploited his gifts and talents.
Around the age of 11 he was brought to an art show to broaden his horizons, a gift from his parents for his hard work. His mind was blown when he saw the landscape paintings. It aroused in him a desire to travel and see the world so that he too could paint such amazing scenes. It was then he truely decided to break away from his parents' premade path for him.
He began acting out, smoking and drinking, sneaking out to paint pictures for free where the public could view his works. Aside from painting he'd steal cigarettes and alcohol from stores leaving IOU notes which his parents would end up having to pay. The frustration from dealing with his disgraceful acts drove his parents into enrolling him into the ninja academy hoping it would make him more obedient.
He learned how to use his clan's jutsu as well as learned about different chakra nature's. When he was introduced to ink style he took to it like a fish to water, applying his skills in the arts to his jutsu to make up for the late start he had. Using ninjutsu that were related to the skills he already had allowed him to excell and improve his ninjutsu ability at an impressive rate. As a shinobi he's an excellent soldier albeit a little head strong and a tendency to rush into things. He is now eagerly awaiting his first big chance to get out of the village to see new and exciting things.
