Personality
  • General - Aina is a very calm and collected sort of person. Getting her to react to something emotionally can be rather difficult as she prides herself as being completely in control of her emotions and her emotional responses. Most would think that upsetting Aina is next to impossible, when in actuality it’s quite easy. However Aina hides these emotions, instead bottling them up and tucking them away to use as fuel for her fights and spars, putting every ounce of pent up rage and aggression into her fights.
  • Hopes/Dreams - At this point in time Aina’s only hopes or dreams are to become the leader of her clan. She’s become focused on her relationship with the clan and her clan’s safety, both of its people and it’s secrets.
  • Fears - Her only real fear is to fail. She’s afraid of failing as a leader, and as a shinobi. She has other fears tied up into it, like the fear of losing comrades or those close to her, but saying she’s afraid of failing is the best way to sum it up.
  • Combat Mentality - Aina prefers to be an up front fighter, getting in her opponent’s face to break bones, joints, and anything else she can get her hands on. She’s brutal and relentless, even kicking a downed opponent until unconscious or someone stops her.
Physical Features
  • Face/Head - Aina has long, black hair down to her mid-back, often kept in a single braid with a six inch long portion of hair which hangs down on the right side of her face. Her eyes are the white of the Hyuuga’s Byakugan eyes.
  • Body - Aina is a slender girl built of a lean but strong muscle,standing at about five foot seven inches and about one hundred and fifty pounds. She prefers to be rather unique in her appearance, often having makeup on like a dark eyeliner around her eyes. In addition, Aina has a fair amount of scars and tattoos. She has a thin line scar around her neck from a wire that’s rather pale now, a pale scar to the left of her chest that is about two inches long, and a dark scar to the left of her belly button in her gut that is about four inches long. She also has Fuuinjutsu tattoos on the underside of either forearm and on either shoulder.
  • Notable Features - Being fond of piercings as well, Aina has two snakebite piercings under her lip, her left eyebrow is pierced, two piercings in the lobe of either ear and three piercings in the upper cartilage of either ear.
Clothing/Accessories Aina wears a simple pair of dark, form-fitting, black pants with black heavy duty boots. She also wears a black sleeveless vest, not dissimilar to a flak vest, with the symbol of the Village between her shoulder blades and the symbol of Mamorinuku just below the village symbol. Taijutsu Specialist:
Having devoted their lives to mastering the art of taijutsu, this shinobi is classified as a Taijutsu Specialist. Taijutsu specialist are able to devote a total of 10 concentrations to taijutsu, unlike most people who are capped at 8. However, they are only able to devote a max of 5 concentrations to genjutsu, and a max of 5 concentrations to ninjutsu.

As a Taijutsu Specialist, Aina is able to utilize taijutsu concentrations reserved for specialists, and is able to enter the God Tier [45+] on select stats, and meaning as a specialist they can select stats to break into the God tier. These stats can only be Taijutsu, Control, Speed & Strength.

Byakugan - Hyuuga:
One of the most famed doujutsu in the world, Byakugan is the bloodline limit of the Hyuuga Clan. When active, the clan member gains 360 degree vision and Penetrative vision, allowing the Hyuuga clan to see the Tenketsu of their enemies. Their telescopic vision can be activated via jutsu. As such, the Byakugan is capable of ability channeling, allowing the Hyuuga to activate their Doujutsu techniques without hand seals. It should be noted that while using their telescopic vision the Hyuuga experiences tunnel vision, making it difficult to see their surroundings.

Prolonged usage of the Byakugan is strenuous and requires a high level of endurance. The maximum operating time a user can utilize their Byakugan at a time is equal to their stamina stat divided by 4 rounded down, to a minimum of one post. Upon reaching the max duration, the stress of using their Byakugan to it’s limit causes a cooldown period of 1/2 of the duration time, to a minumum of one post. During this cooldown period, the Byakugan cannot be activated and attempting to do so will cause physical pain. Duration is based off total posts where the Byakugan is activated, meaning users can turn it on and off to have a shorter cooldown.
Companion Master:
This character specializes in the organization of others, and has committed part of their time in coordinating themselves with pets, spirits, or henchmen in combat. This gives the user of this ability four[4] companions, each companion is separate from the other and can be any type of companion. There is no limit to ranks for companions.
Ashen Blessing:
Aina was able to gain a form of regeneration based on her use of Ash Ninjutsu. When she is wounded in any way, Ash will seep from her wound and the surrounding pores of her skin to cover the wound. Over time as this Ash remains on the wound it will sear it shut. Due to this method these wounds are not healed without scars as the Katon nature of the Ash burns the wounds to healed. But after the healing is complete the Ash will cool and may be brushed off the wound.

Katon Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize katon and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the katon affinity. Katon has an ignition effect.

Fuuton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. Fuuton has an cutting effect.

Sankaton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Sankaton, and advanced form of Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Sankaton affinity. Sankaton has an eroding effect. Those without the Elemental Specialization cannot make custom Sankaton jutsu.

Ash Release
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Ash, an extension composed of Fuuton and Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require Ash. Ash has an clinging effect. You must be a former or present Konoha shinobi to utilize this concentration.

Storage & Force Fuuinjutsu
This user is able to utilize Storage Fuuinjutsu and Force Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Storage or Force Classification. Storage Fuuinjutsu can be used to store supplies, weapons, armor, or anything in between. Force Fuuinjutsu are used to release, counteract, and capture energy.

This user has learned to use their chakra's presence to initiate genjutsu. Allowing them to initiate genjutsu in people who notice them with sensory techniques.

As far as Hyuuga go, the raising of Aina was nothing unique. She was born the youngest of three, both of her older siblings being boys. She was born not just the youngest, but the brother closest to her in age is five years older than she. Her parents fondly referred to her as an ‘oops’ though in truth Aina always hated that. She also grew up hating the fact that all Hyuuga looked the same, or at least she felt like they did. They all kept their appearances fairly plain, they kept their hair long, and Aina felt like she just blended in. She never felt like she stood out.

She struggled with her hatred of this ‘sameness’ as she called it all through her time at the Academy. She often made a fool of herself, still excelling in her studies but often in ways that either got her in trouble or just in ways that amused her alone. It wasn’t until she graduated the academy and became a Genin that she found out she didn’t need to look so much like her clanmates.

She’d seen people around the village with piercings before, but it was as a genin that she began to study fuuinjutsu and first learned she could tattoo herself with fuuinjutsu for the storing of weapons and the like. Immediately she took a liking to this, seeing it as a way to carry her things around without being encumbered by pouches or anything like that.

In truth the piercings began just before her Chunin exams, and only because her mother hated them. Aina had always been a Daddy’s girl and one of her brothers came home to visit with one of his ears pierced one day and Aina’s mother threw a fit. Of course, as she wandered down the path of ‘troublemaker’, Aina found her mother’s hatred of such things hilarious and so she got her first piercings as a Genin.
As a Shinobi however her troublesome attitude began to die down almost immediately as the girl began to focus on her training. Being out of the academy the Hyuuga child quickly learned just what kind of possibilities there were out there and soon she realized that there was no more boredom and so no more trouble was needed. Her focus changed within weeks and her own team noticed the difference almost immediately.

Relentlessly she trained with her team in preparation for the chunin exam, working with some kid who was best with his ninjutsu and distance along with an Inuzuka with whom Aina got along fairly well. Passing the exam wasn’t anywhere near easy, after all she and the Inuzuka were good at getting in the way of the boy and his katon ninjutsu, but once they figured out their own flow as a group of shinobi, their own relentless tactics as a group brought them to their new ranks of Chunin.

Of course Aina’s love of her own piercings only got worse, much to her mother’s anger and Aina’s father’s amusement. Aina of course has not ceased in her training and will not. The girl is relentless not just in tactics but in training and the in the last six months she has vowed to become one of the strongest of her rank.

As a chunin Aina was able to make contact with an old friend.
Inuzuka Masami had been one of her teammates that she had been able to pass the exam with and even her best friend as a genin, but sometime after the exam the young woman disappeared, leaving Aina to wonder what had happened. By time Aina ran into her again her friend had been recovered and came home with a rather terrible story to tell. Masami had been kidnapped and experimented on, an experiment that had led to her being bonded to her companion dog, Ao. As a result she now had ears and a tail and had been a shut in for some time. Aina spent a good deal of time trying ot get her out of this funk she had fallen into, and even cheered her up simply by scratching her behind the ears (she avoided the tail though since Masami would bite if she went near it).

In addition, Aina was put over a Genin team to supervise their training. She hadn’t really expected the assignment and had found herself extremely nervous at the idea of it but her nerves were quickly put at ease by the group she was put in charge of. One of them she had met before and helped who would later begin dating her friend Masami, another was an Aburame, a clan member much like Aina herself which gave them quite some common ground on mentality at least. And the last was a young girl who wanted to be a medic. Aina had worried that she wouldn’t be able to identify with this girl at all but before long her fears were assuaged as she began talking to her about just what a medic did and support roles, finding she was able to teach the girl better than she thought.

In addition she made a new friend in a boy named Makoto. He was a fellow Hyuuga but far more ‘normal’ than Aina. He didn’t have the piercings and tattoos like she did and in fact seemed very serious. Their first meeting wouldn’t go so well, but the two would find a bond later in life once she met his teammate.
Now as a Special Jounin, Aina came across something she had never expected. The young woman had never really liked boys, she’d never really paid attention to them all that much. But one day she ran into a boy and his pet panther as he was about to pass out from over exerting himself during training that day, and that boy’s name was Awai Minoru. Minoru was the holder of Aturasu, a Genma Spirit and as a result had horns which was what initially caught Aina’s attention. But over time as the two spent more and more time together, even doing missions, she came to care for the boy in a way she had never really considered possible. She had never thought much about the future aside from shinobi life, the idea of being a wife and mother had never occurred to her, and yet that was exactly what ran through her mind when she was around Minoru.

She didn’t find out immediately that Minoru felt the same, being somewhat naive to the signs of such things. But during a mission she was put in danger, nearly killed by a man as he’d had a wire around her neck and even when she got out of that, he was about to stab her in the chest when Minoru found her. It triggered a reaction in the boy so strong the Genma shone through and he killed most of the men involved, he only stopped because Aina got in the way and when Aturasu wanted her dead, Minoru was forced to regain control to keep her safe.

From there the relationship between the two blossomed, remaining innocent and rather adorable in their exchanges, up until something changed drastically. Konoha was invaded and Aina was thrown into the middle of it, taken hostage by the men who attacked, Enma and Yaku. Afterwards she was hospitalized for her injuries and it wasn’t until later that she knew something that had happened.

Aina’s own mentor and soon-to-be-boss in Mamorinuku, Kawa, came to retrieve Aina to witness Aturasu being sealed in her friend Masami. Which could only mean he had been torn out of Minoru, an act that could have drastic and even deadly consequences. After the sealing she found indeed that something had happened though she knew not what, she only knew that her beloved Minoru had fallen into a coma, and Aina would spend day after day at his side, mourning him and the fact that she hadn’t been able to tell him the true nature of her feelings for him.

Going into her days as Jounin, Aina knew she had work to do. She had slacked in her training, she had been overcome by emotion, and she had been taken hostage in a situation where she felt she should have been a boon to her village, not a burden. No matter how many people tried to convince her she couldn’t have stopped the men without dying herself, she still dedicated herself to a single idea.

Never again would she be weak, and she refused to let herself fail in the face of adversity again. She pushed herself harder than ever before. In the wake of what happened to the village in the invasion, and her having been taken hostage and as a result the clan leader of the Hyuuga being killed, Aina was unofficially disowned by her mother. Her brothers even quit visiting, and her father never said a word to her about the entire situation. She moved into her own home even as her mother made clear that she wasn’t welcome, and quit her pursuits to marry off Aina to another clanmate.

But the young woman refused to let it deter her. She closed off her emotions, she cut herself off from feeling just about anything, and focused on the tasks at hand. She worked for Kawa, she focused on her Mamorinuku missions and even recruited for the organization itself. And in the midst of it all she received word that her once first love, Awai Minoru, had awoken from his coma. But it didn’t improve things. She wasn’t permitted to see him as the Yamanaka in charge of him didn’t want to upset the Hyuuga by letting her near him given her family situation. And so yet again she drowned herself in work, and in training. Her hard work has brought about a possible second chance as a shinobi, a chance to promote to Bannin. Nothing else appears to be on the girl’s mind, too busy being a ninja to realize her personal life has fallen to pieces.

Aina’s life as a shinobi has finally been lining up just how she wanted, but this means she’s been forced to finally look at her personal life. When she interviewed for her rank up to Bannin, she was given a specific mission by the Council member Aoi. He specifically told her to fix her relationship with the Hyuuga, that to maintain her promotion, this was a task she could not fail at. And so as her life begins on a new path with a well respected rank, almost the most respected of ranks, she now looks to mend her relationship with the clan.

Naturally for Aina the idea of mending her relationship with the clan hasn't been easy, in fact she still maintains much of her rebellious streak. Yet much of the clan simply accepts that is what she is, and while many still do not like her, there are very few who would not admit that she has proven her strength worthy of her rank. Her life goals have taken a turn more towards the personal now as she gets involved romantically with a man named Natsuki Takeo, easily in line to be the next Hokage. Meanwhile she has adopted two Hyuuga orphans whose lives have been made difficult by clan expectations, and Aina believes she can ease those burdens and help them to become strong, as Hyuuga, and as shinobi.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will exhale a small jet of flame directly in front of them. The ball lights up the surrounding area in a 5 meter radius and has a durability of 5. Unless destroyed, it will stay locked in it's location for 5 posts before fading.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will puff their chest before spitting out a torrent of 15 individual fireballs, each 2 centimeter diameter. The fireballs are shot for up to 10 meters away at a speed of 9 and a strength of 1.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling a thin stream of flames up to 15 meters away at a speed of 10. By channeling katon chakra into their body, the user will release a short, uncontrolled burst of flame outward from their body that travels just a few centimeters and lasts hardly a second. The short-lived burst of flame pushes outward with a strength of 10.

By channeling katon chakra into any item, the user will turn it into a ticking time bomb. Either when 3 posts are up or when activated through the use of Chakra Kai, the object will explode, releasing all the katon chakra in it in a C-Rank explosion and scattering flames in the immediate area.

After the needed hand seals, the user will release an katon outward from their body rapidly as the fire twists around them. This fire forms a pseudo-defense against taijutsu because for the next three posts if anyone comes into contact with it they will receive severe second degree burns. Additionally, this technique can be used offensively for that reason.

After performing the correct hand seals the user exhales a ring of fire up to 20 meters away at a speed of 20. On impact the ring immediately erupts outwards and upwards as it's dancing flames form a dome with a 5 meter diameter and a 3 meter pitch. The dome is held together at a strength of 20 for 4 posts before falling apart into wild flames.

After performing the correct hand seals the user breathes out gently and sends a wire-thin line of flames at a target. The line can travel up to 20 meters from the user at a speed of 20. If it connects to a target the contact point has all of the chakra forced into it at once, releasing flames all over the target and igniting them with ease.

A-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a condensed 5cm diameter, 3 meter long spear of fire in their hand then throw it at an opponent. At any time during the course of the spear's travel, the user may use Chakra Kai to activate the spear. This causes the spear to rapidly unwind and expand into a 10 meter long, 7 meter diameter whirlwind of fire at a speed of 30. On impact, the spear will then explode at A-Rank strength.

By channeling katon chakra into their body the user both protects themselves from and coats themselves in flames. For 4 posts, their body constantly exerts around 4 cm of flames which push out from their body at a strength of 35. This causes the user's body to become a living flame, causing fire wherever they go and burning all life in their path. In addition to this, the user can just once over the span of the 4 posts cause their encapsulating flame to pulsate and expand out 15 meters at a speed of 35 for an instant before returning to it's normal size.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user creates a small vortex of Fuuton chakra around a projectile in their hand that spins with a strength of 5. This causes the projectile to corkscrew through the air, allowing it to travel an extra 10m and applying the Fuuton passive when thrown. The Fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move faster (+3 speed) but lowers their accuracy and agility (-3 Taijutsu). This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

Once it makes contact with a substance, the wind both cuts at it and pushes it away with 10 strength. This blast goes out for a maximum of thirty feet if it doesn't hit anything, where it will dissipate into the surrounding air.

After forming the necessary hand seals, the user will thrust their hands forward as a vortex of wind blasts through with a speed of 10. The vortex's direction can be controlled with a Control stat of at least 15. The control, however, is limited; it can only be moved in a 45 degree angle, up to three times. A hit from this vortex packs a large push back force, though the person can avoid being pushed back with a strength of 5 or greater. Control of this Jutsu fades after two posts and spans an area 3m wide and up to 20m in length. Direct hits result in long but shallow cuts on the victim's body, covering the whole radius of the techniques point of contact, no deeper than half an inch.

This technique lasts for 4 posts.

Should they be struck in the last 20m, it will only apply 3 explosive tags worth of force and range.

Anything that tries to pass through the winds will be sliced viciously with 20 strength blades of wind as sharp as katana blades. This technique lasts for 4 posts, unless released earlier.

While this doesn't truly hinder vision, except for distances over 30 yards inside of it, which appear to be a fuzzy red color, it does cause great damage to any metal objects in the mist, which will immediately start rusting over. This covers a total area of 25meters, and lasts for 3 posts. It can also cause light burns to those in it momentarily, and second degree burns in those who spend extended periods of time in the mist.

After doing the needed hand seals, the ninja places both of their hands on the ground. Then, by flooding Sankaton chakra into the ground, they cause the ground to start to rust, weakening it and making it unstable. If any new pressure is created on the ground after a post after this jutsu has been started, the ground will give way immediately, causing the target to 'fall' through the ground. Due to the new structure of the ground, normal ways of trying to escape won't work, since it acts more like quick sand, rather than ground. Those that try to use a form of Mole Hiding will find that it doesn't work, as the rust inside the ground prevents it from being used for any traction at all. This corrosion process starts from the ninja that used it and travels 20 meters each post, until it reaches 80 meters, total.

Unless broken, the wall will remain standing for 3 posts before dissipating.

If anyone walks through the cloud the ash will cling to them and cause 1st degree burns over the course of 1 post.

If inhaled, this will cause up to 3rd degree burns to the user’s throat and lungs by the end of the 3rd post.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will emit a large amount of ash from their mouth in the shape of a dome that is 5m high and has a diameter of 5m as well. The dome forms at a speed of 16 and has a strength of 24. However, as long as the target does not get within 1m of any surface they will remain unharmed for the 4 post duration. If they do however get near the walls or attempts to break through the ash will cling to them and cause 1st degree burns immediately and 2nd degree burns after 2 posts.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will take a deep breath and emit a tightly formed ball of ash, roughly the size of a basketball. The user will then throw the ball towards the target at a speed of 35. The ball of ash hits with a strength of 35 and will erupt immediately into a cloud of ash that will cover a 15m radius. The ash is incredibly hot, clinging anyone and anything within the cloud. It will cause 1st degree burns on impact and by the end of the 3rd post the user will be inflicted with 3rd degree burns. The ash will remain in the area for 6 posts before dissipating.

This seal is the only known sealing applications that allows depth storage and unfortunately this cannot be done at larger sizes. Tools can only be released at a maximum of 10 at a time, and are released with zero force.

This seal cannot be used multiple times, and if the incoming projectile has more than 5 strength, it will overpower it, making the technique useless.

Created for a simple task, this is a seal specifically made to be put on the inside of a small bag. This seal allows the bag to hold more than normally allowed, reaching into the bag and tracing a particular part of the seal is like using a key to unlock a door, and the user can reach into the seal to retrieve additional items stored in it. These items can not take up a space larger than 3x9 inches. This seal cannot be used in combat.

After performing the correct hand seals the user proceeds to create a number of clones of themselves (maximum is equal to 1/3rd the users stamina). Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies of the user in both appearance and substance. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but they will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. A technique that few in the Hyuuga clan attain, this jutsu requires dedicated time and practice with the Byakugan as well as a ritual to unlock it's full power. By performing said ritual, the Hyuuga member with this jutsu is no longer bound by the cooldown period of the Byakugan; they can turn it on and off at will without regard for any time limits. However, this comes at the hefty cost of -3 stamina permanently devoted to powering the ever active Byakugan.

Jyuuken, also known as ‘Gentle Fist’ is the NinTaijutsu style the Hyuuga Clan has become notorious for. It’s moves appear like a graceful dance to the naked eye, though some of these moves can be quite deadly. Most strikes are aimed to close the tenketsu of the target’s body, limiting their jutsu use and damaging their chakra network. As every move requires Channeling this style follows the basic channelling rules and as such every jutsu has a Control prerequisite. Due to the accuracy of each strike, each jutsu also requires an Instinct stat equal to that of the jutsu (as noted on each jutsu).

By channeling chakra to the hand, the ninja will create one chakra needle on one of their fingertips. They can then throw it at an opponent or target as if it were a regular throwing senbon, or they can use them with their Jyuuken Techniques to give their pokes a stabbing quality. The damage caused is much like that of a regular senbon needle, and it lasts for 3 posts.

If the shell hits the opponent, they will be knocked back 5 meters unless they have a strength of 5 or higher.

One of the fundamental techniques of the style, the user will channel chakra into their palms. They will then quickly strike the opponent in an attempt to damage their tenketsu. The chakra damage forcefully closes the 32 tenketsu struck, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent in that area and limiting their ability to use jutsu. This prevents the opponent from using some ninjutsu and genjutsu, D-rank and lower, causes mild pain, and hinders the opponent's chakra control. The penalty will only last for two full posts.

This attack consists of a quick, precise thrust of the user’s palm to an opponent's body, having channeled chakra into the hand. Though it causes internal damage like other Jyuuken techniques, its greatest asset lies in its ability to be fired off from just about any position and at any given point of the opponent's body.

These are capable of slicing through things made of chakra, which normally could not be broken or cut. This technique can also penetrate defensive jutsu. The strength of these daggers is 10 and they last for 3 posts.

Utilizing the Byakugan and concepts from the Gentle Fist Style, the user will begin by spinning in place like a top while expelling chakra from his/her body. This creates a powerful vortex that extends about 4 meters in all directions from the user's body at a speed of 5. This technique defends the user against projectiles, taijutsu, and ninjutsu attacks of less than 15 strength. If an opponent with a strength less than 15 is caught in its radius, they are forcibly pushed out. This technique can last for a maximum of two posts.

By channeling chakra to their hands, the user forms two large lion-shaped shrouds of chakra around their hands. This technique is made to supplement their physical attacks, and as a result increases their strength by 6 at the cost of lowering their control by 6. Successfully striking the opponent while this technique is active knocks them back 1 meter for ever 2 points of difference between their strength and the Hyuuga's. This technique lasts for up to three posts.

This technique is similar to Eight Divination Palms of the Hand, Heavenly Spin, but targets a specific point rather than a general area. Thrusting their palm outward, the clan member can release a high-speed palm thrust. A spiraling, compressed shell of chakra is formed and bursts outward in the direction the palm is facing. It travels at a speed of 10, hits with a strength of 10, and travels out up to ten meters. If the shell hits the opponent, they will be knocked back 1 meter for every point of strength the technique has over the opponent.

The user flows chakra into their hand, causing it to be enveloped in a light blue glow. Then, the user will strike the opponent with this hand, releasing the built up chakra. This technique can knock back a target with less than 20 strength with relative ease, sending them up to 15 meters away based on the difference between their strength and the strength of the Hyuuga. This is an effective counter measure when facing someone in taijutsu range and is often used to set up other attacks.

This creates a powerful vortex that extends about 6 meters in all directions from the user's body at a speed of 10. This technique defends the user against projectiles, taijutsu, and ninjutsu attacks. If an opponent with a strength less than 30 is caught in its radius, they are forcibly pushed out. This technique can last for a maximum of two posts.

The Hyuuga clan member flows chakra into their hands and emits a constant stream of chakra from their palms, creating sharp chakra blades. Then, by using their natural flexibility, the user could strike at almost any target within their field of vision. The user stands at the center and would simply need to turn to face in the direction they would attack in. This chakra is able to cut through most things at a strength and speed of 20, tearing through things such as weapons, large debris, humans, and even some ninjutsu attacks. This jutsu has a range of 10 meters and lasts for up to 4 posts

Prerequisite: 25 Control, 20 Instinct
Using their ability to expel chakra from every chakra point on their body, a member of the Hyūuga clan channels chakra before expelling a blast of chakra all around them, knocking opponents and attacks away from the user. This technique has a very short range (giving a maximum range of 5m) but any opponent with a strength lower than 20 will be knocked back ten meters.

Used in melee range, the clan member will shoot short bursts of chakra from their fingertips while striking the opponent's tenketsu 2 times, 4 times, 8 times, 16 times, 32 times, 64 times, and finally 128 times making a total of 256 strikes. This damage forcefully closes the 256 tenketsu struck, stopping the flow of chakra in the opponent within the struck area and severely limiting their ability to use ninjutsu and genjutsu. This will stop most jutsu from working, A-rank and lower, cause severe pain, and lower the target's control by 9. Often times, this technique will cause the victim to faint as it stops the flow of all chakra use except those needed for survival. If the opponent has a stamina of 25 or higher they can withstand fainting, and those with a stamina of 30 or higher would be able to use jutsu. The interruption of the opponents’ chakra lasts for 4 posts.

Prerequisite: ~Jyuuken :: Eight Divination Signs, Vacuum Palm, 30 Control, 25 Instinct
A stronger version of Eight Divination Palms, Vacuum Palm, this technique is performed the same exact way with the exception being that it is used at much closer range, 0-5m. After quickly rotating, the user precisely pinpoints the enemy's vital points with the Byakugan and releases a high-speed palm thrust. A compressed shell of chakra is formed from the clan member's chakra which travels at a speed of 25, hits with a strength of 25, and travels out to 10 meters. If the shell hits the opponent, they will be knocked back 2 meters for every point of difference between their strength and the strength of the Mountain Crusher.

~Jyuuken :: Twin Dragon Fists
A Rank NinTaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~Jyuuken :: Twin Lion Fists, 30 Control, 25 Instinct
A stronger version of ~Gentle Fist Style, Twin Lion Fists, by channeling chakra to the hands, the user forms two large dragon-shaped shrouds of chakra around their hands. This technique is made to supplement their physical attacks and increases the strength of their blows by +12, but as a result it lowers their control by 12. Successfully striking the opponent while this technique is active knocks them back 1 meter for every point of strength difference between the target and the Hyuuga. This technique lasts for up to four posts.

S Rank NinTaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~Jyuuken :: Eight Divination Signs, Two Hundred Fifty Six Palms of the Hand, 40 Control, 35 Instinct
Considered the most powerful technique within the Hyuuga clan, this technique is generally used as a last resort. Used in melee range, the clan member will shoot short bursts of chakra from their fingertips while striking all 361 of the opponent’s tenketsu. By closing every chakra point, the organs in the opponent’s body begin to rapidly shut down and using any chakra impossible as no chakra points would be open. With all 361 tenketsu closed, the opponent typically dies soon after the use of this technique. However, the user of this technique will be exhausted from using this technique afterwards (-3 Stamina). Such makes this a very dangerous technique to use, failure to take down the enemy possibly leading to death. The opponent can resist death if their stamina is 35 or higher, though they will likely faint due to the extreme amount of pain and chakra loss. If they have 40 or higher stamina, they can resist fainting and use taijutsu (ninjutsu and genjutsu being unusable). The sealing of the opponent's chakra will last for a maximum of ten full posts.

Toryu Kenjutsu:
Toryu Kenjutsu is a sword style originating from the Land of Pebbles that focuses on not just performing kenjutsu but also weaving close quarters style taijutsu into the bladework. Toryu's specialty is not only learning to capably slash a sword with one hand but also learning to use the hands, joints, legs and even the head to make frighteningly dangerous close quarters fighters. An inelegant style, it is commonly associated with the more 'rough' samurai but in truth it's reliance on two opposing impulses and control of the body makes it one of the more difficult Kenjutsu styles to learn. While usable with most blades, experienced fighters often prefer wakizashi, ninjato and even tanto daggers instead of katana for increased mobility.

The signature stance of the style, Close Quarters teaches users of this style how to rapidly change the angle, position and even grip of their weapon without moving their hand from it's signature position at the user's waist for maximum versatility. Users of this style often assume a one foot forward, one back, slightly swayed stance to free up movement as well at the expense of leaving their center open.

A basic technique of the style wherein the user moves in for a basic lunge-thrust with their weapon, only to turn in mid thrust and attempt to sweep their leg under the opponent's own. The pain as well as damage can interrupt the guard of opponents, leaving them wide open for the initial attack to hit.

A dangerous close quarters 'option closer', the Toryu user will sweep in close and try to slam their foot down on an opponent's as well as quickly sweep their arm around the opponent's to lock their elbow with the user's own. This technique is usually utilized for setting up blows or blocking off the weapons of dual-wielding foes and it forces the opponent to break out of the move before counter-attacking.

The user of this technique will attempt to block the blow of his opponent with his blade, relying heavily on the durability of their weapon and their own strength to resist the strength of the opponent's attack. Should they be successful, the user will follow up with a swift kick to the target's chest or stomach to push them away and stun them, then follow up with a quick stab to the chest or stomach.

A potent close quarters move that is performed by rushing at a foe and attempting to jump onto the opponent's shoulders. Then, assuming they land, the user shifts their weight in an attempt to unbalance the victim. If performed correctly on an opponent with 10 or less strength who cannot compensate for the weight and momentum it causes them to tip back or go off balance, setting up for a secondary slash or stab at their now exposed head or torso.

One of the more utilized techniques in the arsenal of the style, it involves the shifting of offense and defense, specifically utilizing the sword as a defensive weapon and the hand as the main weapon; by blocking far off the center of the clash (to the side, above, below), the user opens up an opposing swordsman or weapon specialist to punches, quick closes and even more complicated maneuvers simply by forcing their sword back for a moment. The downside of course is it lessens the overall effectiveness of the sword.

During close quarters or after engaging a foe via a rush, the user quickly forces themselves back as they divert body weight downwards typically causing a quick and controllable slide under the opponent's field of control, usually between the legs or to the side. During this slide the user attempts slashes, stabs or even hooks or drags the opponent down with them to open up for more techniques or just deal considerable damage.

Many of the Toryu techniques would put the user in incredibly daring positions where a single mistake could instantly spell disaster for the swordsman. As a result, Toryu practitioners must train themselves constantly to avoid letting their fears distract them from their task. A user with this technique has learned to shut out fear in the heat of combat, allowing them to perform their death defying attacks without the risk of failure due to fear responses.

The user quickly dashes into an opponent's range while delivering a quick knee strike to the target's solar plexus in an attempt to stagger the opponent. The aim is to get the target to lean forward while holding their gut, opening up the many vulnerable areas of the back, neck and skull to various possible finishing moves.

Utilized defensively at a rushing opponent or offensively during other movements, the core of this technique is to open up the opponent by first driving the arm towards them under or over their guard and then, at the moment of impact, turning the body in such a way that so as to face them sideways and stabbing your weapon into their back during this momentary opening. The one-two combo of this technique is that the arm bar sends them hurtling back directly into the now oncoming blade, causing far more damage than either hit alone.

A tricky technique which requires an opponent to step close to the user voluntarily either for an attack or for a grapple/counter of their own. By using the forward momentum of the opponent and dropping down to one knee, the user is able to grab the wrist of the opponent and use their grip to force the foe over their head, slamming them headfirst into the ground and leaving them open for a further attack.

Prerequisite: 15 Instinct, 25 Speed, 25 Taijutsu
Using their surroundings to their advantage with a bit of quick thinking, the user will charge at their opponent from a distance. Then, Just before getting within range to attack the opponent, the user will dig the toe of their shoe or foot into the dirt and kick up a large cloud of dirt to obscure the opponent’s vision and as a result, the user’s position. If no dirt is available, such as being inside, the user should instead use a bit of dirt on their person, though this is less effective as the cloud would be much smaller and is instead meant to simply blind the opponent. The user will then make a quick dash to either side of the opponent and reach for their arm, giving them a quick jerk to set them off balance and bring them closer before delivering a quick slash to the opponent’s jugular.

A-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 35 Strength
A devastating dash attack known for it’s ability to cause tremors in the earth, the user will take a brief moment to ready themselves, digging their foot into the ground and building up power in their leg. Then in a burst of movement, the user will kick off into a dash so hard that the force they put into the earth actually causes the ground to rumble with tremors radiating out to 15 meters, causing anyone with a Taijutsu stat 10 or more underneath the user’s strength to struggle with standing or moving even at a walking pace. This makes the perfect cover for the Toryu user to charge into battle headfirst as it makes it more difficult for those who aren’t taijutsu practitioners to retaliate against their advance.

A-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 35 Strength
With a swift punch to the earth the user shatters a large chunk of earth beneath their feet, allowing them to reach down and grab hold of a huge chunk of earth no larger than 5 meters in diameter. The user holds this rock with one hand and can toss the chunk of earth as if it were ranged weapon. After doing so, the user follows the earth for a moment while delivering multiple slashes to it, cutting the one chunk into several that scatter around a 5 meter diameter area. This is mainly meant to cover their charge but the chunks of earth are quite capable of damaging wounds on direct hits.

Skitter Step:
The Skitter Step is a style that relies heavily on the user's senses. The style itself is a mesh of quick, fast, and wild punches, kicks, and jumps. Due to the user altering their senses, every bit of movement is heard and, since they can start to respond to things instinctively, they can respond to things that normally wouldn't have been able to be heard/seen/done. In addition to the heightened senses, users are normally in a "paranoid" state, where they start to suspect things that aren't always there.

If overused, the style can lead to paranoia in individuals, along with constant fidgeting, making experts in the style quite well known for these activities.

The user will make a fist with their right hand, and place it against their palm with their left hand, against their chest. This calms the users senses and returns them to a centered state.

After using any form of "Senses Open" when the user hears motions behind them, they'll instinctively kick a foot back behind them to strike whatever the source of the sound was.

Prerequisite: A form of Senses Open used.
The counter Discipline to Outside Dodge. Having mastered this Discipline, when the user is actively using Skitter Step, should they be in close quarters combat, their body instinctively dodges to the inside of an attack which keeps them centered on their opponent's torso. These dodges are only successful if their average [Tai+Instinct+Speed/3] is greater than the speed of the attack.

The counter Discipline to Inside Dodge. Having mastered this Discipline, when the user is actively using Skitter Step, should they be in close quarters combat, their body instinctively dodges to the outside of an attack which forces them to be constantly moving around their opponent. These dodges are only successful if their average [Tai+Instinct+Speed /3] is greater than the speed of the attack.

The counter discipline to Accept. When faced with an extended limb, may it be an arm or leg, a master of this discipline will always bat at the extended limb with full force, typically aiming for the joint of the limb in order to cause it to collapse.

The counter discipline to Reject. When faced with an extended limb, may it be an arm or leg, a master of this discipline will always reach to capture the extended limb with one hand, typically aiming for the most distal portion of the limb. This gives them an opportunity of controlling their opponent.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
The main jutsu of the Skitter Step, Senses Open does exactly what the name states. The user takes a moment to focus their bodies, then releases it. While in this stance, the users sensory input is increased, allowing them to receive more information quickly. This causes a +2 in Taijutsu, and a +4 in speed, but a -3 in Ninjutsu and -3 in Control. This stance will remain in effect until deactivated by [Stop]. Practioners of this technique will find themselves fidgetting and constantly moving, which can make it difficult for them to use this style while on stealth missions.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: A form of Senses Open used.
Should a user learn this Discipline, any time a projectile is launched at them is picked up by their senses, the user will instictively draw their a weapon of their own and bat at the weapon to knock it away. If their average [Tai+Instinct+Speed /3] is greater than the speed of the projectile, they'll succeed.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite:A form Senses Open used.
The user performs a quick snap kick forwards, or, if needed, a snap kick to either side by bringing their leg up and kicking outwards. If "Senses Open" was previously used, the user is able to quickly and instinctively kick out in about any direction and even able to do a turn on their heel, then kick what was behind them.

Prerequisite:A form Senses Open used.
Because of the Skitterer's paranoid nature, they can slightly sense things around them. At a slight hint of an attack, the user will jump out of the way in the opposite direction of the attack, letting them dodge projectiles or jutsu.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite:A form Senses Open used.
Masters of this discipline are recognize the importance of evasion, and have trained their bodies to roll naturally. When faced with an attack from the chest up, that cannot be deflected, the user will naturally drop their body into a roll and roll to the right or left, which ever grants the user better positioning. This dodging technique only works if the users [Taijutsu+Instinct+Speed/3] is greater than the speed of the attack.

B-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
An advanced version of "Senses Open." The user floods chakra to their senses, which expands their usage even more, causing them to hear every minute sound, but a loud sound won't cause them to go deaf or anything of the like. The user also can start to hallucinate if they stay in this stage too long (5 posts). Everything that is able to be heard, the user hears. Everything that is able to be seen is able to be seen. The user, to anyone else, will appear to have gone completely crazy. This causes a +4 in Taijutsu, +5 in Speed, but a -4 in Ninjutsu, and -5 in Control.

B-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite:A form Senses Open used.
Masters of this Discipline have taught their body to function, always, regardless of position. This means that even while in the air the user is able to functionally react with any disciplines they've trained, so long as they don't require footing.

B-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite:A form of Senses Open used, Inside Dodge or Outside Dodge
An advancement of their previous disciplines, Counter Strike focuses on combing a dodge with instantly attacking. whenever Inside dodge or Outside Dodge are activated, the user will instinctively strike as they dodge, throwing a punch into the openings created by the dodge.

A-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite:A form of Senses Open used, both Inside Dodge and Outside Dodge Disciplines
The user has trained their bodies to track opponents to keep close quarters with them, always maintaining a body's interval with the opponent. This means that once the user has entered close quarters range, the users body will naturally and passively maintain this interval. Should the opponent take a step back, the user naturally takes a step forward. So long as the user is physical capable of matching the opponents speed, they will always stay within that interval of the opponent, allowing them to mantain close quarters.

A-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite:A form of Senses Open used
The user has taught their body to adapt through this discpline. This allows the user to instinctively draw conclusions on the opponents fighting style. Masters of this discipline, unconsciously learn how their opponent's fight, and upon seeing a technique used twice, naturally recognize it's execution. While a master of this discipline cannot consciously recognize the movements that telegraph attacks, their bodies instinctively pick up on them, which grants them a +4 in taijutsu and speed in terms of reacting to the attack.

S-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
Often mistaken for Drunken Fist, this Taijutsu Stance forgoes conscious thought for completely instinctive action. The user stands with their arms at their side, their hips slightly tilted with one foot slightly more forward than the other. They'll take a deep breath in, then out, and close their eyes. Once in this stance, the users body will twitch occasionally, their eyes fluttering between open and closed. Unless they have Disciplines for attacking, the user will only move when attacked, responding based on the Disciplines they have. They gain +9 speed and +6 Instinct, but -7 Ninjutsu and -8 Control. This Stance lasts for 10 posts, and cannot be turned off, often making the user combative even after combat. Because they attack based on all their sensory information, and are not fully conscious, users of this Stance are often immune to genjutsu unless they effect all 5 senses. They do not talk, or actually process any sounds they hear beyond the location they are coming from. The user cannot use any ninjutsu or genjutsu while utilizing this Stance.

Kūgāpou Taijutsu:
This taijutsu style is all about avoidance, with grace. In this style the user may slap away blades, thrown weapons, and other objects, all in the interests of preserving one's self. However this style isn't necessarily about avoiding all damage, so much as avoiding the worst damage. In instances where the user is going against an opponent they can't match, they may use this style to avoid fatal injuries to receive instead less serious injuries and live to fight a bit longer, or even another day.
Required Concentrations: Deft Hands, Perception, Acrobatics
Note: It is understood for all Kūgāpou Taijutsu that these techniques require either the jutsu used by the user to exceed that used by the target in rank or the user's taijutsu stat to exceed the target's. This is understood for all of the following jutsu.

Kūgāpou: Soft Paws
D-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Soft Paws is a bare-handed deflection technique and is used against bladed weapons. At this level the user is able to read the angles of the attacks to use the flat of their hand against the flat of the blade and push it away without getting cut by the weapon.

Kūgāpou: Soft Elbow
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
After using Soft Paws to slap a blade away, the user will continue moving forwards while jutting out their elbow. The momentum from the target's original attack that was slapped away coupled with the sudden defenselessness of the target after having their attack deflected makes for a powerful counter-attack. The elbow can be aimed anywhere on the torso and above, but is usually aimed at the target's face.

Kūgāpou: Down Paw
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Whenever a bladed weapon is coming towards the user, they can slam their palm against the top of the blade, pushing it downwards. This would either cause the sword to miss, or if their strength difference is enough, could force the sword into the ground. This technique, of course, only works on blades that aren't double-edged.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Whenever in a situation where they can't avoid being struck, the user will manipulate their body slightly. This slight movement allows them to cause the incoming attack to miss any vital organs, causing as minor damage as possible.

Kūgāpou: Quick Fang
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Whenever dealing with an opponent using a short weapon, such as a kunai, knife or dagger, the user may use this jutsu to deflect their attack. Given the weapon's small size, whenever they're approaching the user's body, so is the hand of the weapon wielder. Taking advantage of this, the user aims a slap or a punch at the target's fingers, aiming to simultaneously push the weapon off its trajectory but also to hurt and crush the target's fingers.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Whenever being attacked with a weapon, the user will sidestep and proceed to attempt to disarm the opponent. They will grab and pull at a piece of the weapon that they can actually hold onto before simultaneously slamming the other palm into the target's wrist. The result is a ripping away of the weapon with one hand and the pushing away of it with the other, making it very difficult for the target to hold onto their weapon, not to mention avoid getting their wrist broken.

Kūgāpou: Hunter's Prediction
C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
By observing a weapon's movement through the air and having a deep understanding of weaponry in general, the user is capable of predicting a weapon's trajectory. This jutsu is especially effective when the user saw the actual moment the weapon was launched, as seeing the movement of the weapon wielder provides crucial information. If they don't see the action of the weapon being launched, they still have minor prediction over the weapons trajectory, but are incapable of accounting for high level taijutsu that may be applied to the throw/strike.

Kūgāpou: Calculated Paw
B-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
When fighting multiple enemies, the user has learned to use Soft Paw as more than just an evasive technique. When a bladed weapon is incoming, they perform a very calculated Soft Paw which allows them to change the trajectory of the bladed weapon to where they desire. Meaning that they are able to not only avoid the strike, but aim it elsewhere so that it may go on to strike other people around them, or perhaps to do some other beneficial action.

B-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
When dealing with projectile weapons, the user pushes their reflexes and their taijutsu abilities to the limit. As kunai, senbon, shuriken, etc, approach, the user attempts to rapidly shoot out their hand and catch the incoming weapon, grabbing them where they will not hurt them. If successful, they'll be able to either grab the kunai and proceed to keep it, or they may simply push/pull the weapon so that they're no longer a threat.

A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
When dealing with projectile weapons, the user may use this jutsu either as a counter or simply as a defense when there are too many projectiles to use Rapid Paw. By rapidly swatting at the incoming projectiles just lightly enough to make an affect, the user can move very quickly and hit multiple weapons. Each time they hit these weapons, they may adjust the amount of force they use so as to alter their trajectory in a very specific way that they so desire, allowing them slight manipulation over their new angle so that they may perhaps actually help the user now instead of hurting them.

Flawless Aim Style:
This style of combat is favored by specialists preferring to use projectiles, often serving as a staple for taijutsu-based projectile users. Focusing on the synergy between their hands and senses they strive to make their reach as far as possible with flawless aim.

D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
A stable and steady stance practiced by nearly all wishing to use projectiles. At this stage they are planted and focusing on their arms and shoulders, moving in smooth motions to mitigate unnecessary movements that may ruin their aim.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner is able to knock multiple arrows upon a single shot, loosing all of them simultaneously. Their accuracy suffers from this, taking a cumulative -2 Strength for each additional shot.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner is able to shoot in arcs up and over most obstacles, being able to accurately hit a target that is behind obstructions as if they were in the open. Granted, they must know of their target’s location or have another means of detecting them.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
This allows the user to hit a moving target so long as it is moving in a way predictable to the user. They must still take into account travel time, and sudden changes in path will still affect the outcome.

D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The user will hold multiple projectiles in their hands to reduce the amount of time needed between each shot. When required they can quickly and fluidly draw more projectiles and keep up a steady stream of attacks. However, while utilizing this Stance the users feet must be planted, limiting the range of their assault, and their ability to be mobile while using it.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The user has learned to maintain accuracy while on the move. This allows the user to move at full speed and even change directions without interrupting their rhythm.

By launching their shot at the proper angle the practitioner is capable of bouncing their projectile off solid surfaces without losing accuracy. Any surface they bounce off causes the projectile to lose ⅕ of its impact strength and soft or uneven surfaces are impossible to bounce off.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By releasing two projectiles back to back the user attempts to create a decoy for the second. The first projectile is often larger or of equal size and the second is slightly behind and below it, usually attempting to hide in the first’s shadow. This masks the attack to some degree. However, perceptive opponents who have an instinct greater than the user’s tai may be able to see through the charade, provided they have means to do so.

By adding a spin to the weapon before it is launched the user is able to give the it a warping motion as it flies through the air. With much practice, the user is able to predict the weapon’s shifting motion and aim accordingly. This can be used to hit a target that is hiding behind another person or object, and is especially useful against a human shield.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The practitioner knows their own reliance on ammunition thus emphasizes never being caught without. With the right technique they are fully capable of launching nearly anything, so long as it possesses at least the mass of a standard kunai, they could otherwise throw or shoot as if it were designed to do so in the first place. Unfortunately, this has an impact on the strength of the impact in the form of a -3 strength.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner is able to launch a projectile in the direct path of an oncoming solid mass attack. This projectile carries with it the full force of the one who launched it and is intended to deflect or destroy the attack before it comes near them. The user’s stats must be capable of tracking and intercepting the attack as well as deflecting it.

B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Having advanced in their arts the practitioner is able to launch projectiles from inconceivable positions. No matter what position their body is in they’re capable of releasing attacks without any detriment to their aim. In addition, rapid adjustments such as dodging or spinning has no effect on their aim.

Users attempt to overwhelm defenses with great speed and strength while chipping away at their opponent’s stamina and keeping their own at the highest possible. A neutral stance taken by even entry level practitioners. This stance involves turning your body to be perpendicular to your opponent. This stance provides ease of dodging incoming blows by using the least amount of motion possible while still being ready to launch into an attack.

After covering an appropriate distance, the user then lets loose a form of distraction, like a thrown object, in order to misdirect the target's attention. The user then leaps with their momentum, delivering a strong kick to bridge the rest of the distance.

Because distances tend to become the problem in most taijutsu, the practitioner will advance with every strike. This creates a tempo of advancement that is designed to wear down their opponent through ever pressing strikes, giving little chance for escape or recovery.

When fighting in close quarters it becomes difficult to generate energy for full powered strikes. Practitioners have learned how to explode force from every muscle with minimal energy wasted and space needed. Every strike done by the practitioner has the potential to be at full strength, so long as they have at least one inch of movement.

The user will tense the muscles in their lower body to a great degree. Doing so causes them to briefly become immobile but creates an enormous amount of pent up energy. By bringing their back leg forward in a straight kick they release all of this energy in a single explosive burst. This can take out a lot of defenses and unless they’re supported by outside forces will knock a kicked foe back a number of yards equal to the difference in their strength and the practitioner's.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
A combination attack started by the user unleashing a powerful kick to either side of their opponent. They will then place themselves behind the target and unleash a quick flurry of punches before kicking another side and repeating the process. This process can keep going ad infinitum or until the practitioner disengages.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
An attack that is slow to wind up but powerful in execution. The adept tenses every muscle in their shoulders and arms while twisting their core for a powerful strike. For the 1/4 post they spend winding up they're treated as having a -6 speed. However, when the strike is released it comes nearly instantly and at a +6 strength.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: (Instinct+Taijutsu)/2 greater than opponent's taijutsu
A disrupting kick that can be launched from nearly any position. This kick is delivered quickly and at 3/4 strength but is aimed at any possible opening and extremely difficult to defend against, quickening the tempo the practitioner is keeping.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
An often difficult attack to accomplish but good for setting up a string of further attacks. The user will sweep low, attempting to kick their target's feet from beneath them. Before they fall, a second kick will attempt to launch them airborne a number of meters equal to the difference in the practitioner's strength from their target.
B Rank:
*[Strong Fist Style • Leaf's Flashing Might]
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Requiring a full post of charge time the user tenses their entire body in preparation, becoming immobile. During this time they will look for their direct path and position themselves with their elbow pointed forward. At the end of the post they will release all of this pent up energy with extreme force, leaping nearly instantaneously a number of yards equal to their strength. If their strength is high enough this can punch through obstacles on their path and create extreme damage to opponents who are hit by it. Often used as an opening attack and cannot be done more than twice per thread.

B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
A progression from previous variants, this attack focuses on multi-opponent fights but utilizes the same principles. By employing superior speed the user will dance between targets to create openings and strike as before. However, rather than unloading on a single target they will move to a new opponent and do the same to them in the time it takes the first to recover. They can keep this process up as long as they are allowed.

A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
An attack meant to be used against multiple targets. By tensing every single muscle in the body the user can release a sweeping kick that disrupts the air around their leg. As the kick is unleashed it creates a wave of compressed air that moves outwards from them at a speed equal to their strength in a wide cone-like line. This line travels for 1/2 the user's strength in yards and grows just as wide at the end. It carries with it the user's full power for the first half of it's travel, diminishing to half strength for the second half.

A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
By priming their core and legs the user will crouch down and come up with an extremely powerful uppercut made tight and close. This uppercut causes a miniature vortex to form in the area, sucking anything within (strength/5) feet to be sucked back towards the strike at half strength for further attacks.

*[Strong Fist Style • Hurricane Kick]
A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
A defensive kick designed by true adepts to ward against ranged attacks. By raising their leg over their head and sweeping it downwards they create a powerful wall of wind that deflects most incoming attacks as if it was deflected by 1/2 their strength. The “wall” is directly in front of them and only as tall as they are, leaving their sides and back still undefended.
S Rank:
*[Strong Fist Style • Great Wind Strike]
S-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user focuses their power for a full post and releases it in a single powerful strike. Doing so sends a compressed air wave outward in a straight line that strikes for their full force and moves at their strength in speed. This air wave steadily grows in size reaching a total width of their strength in yards at the very end of its travel. Unlike previous strikes similar to this, this air wave does not lose power until it dissipates at the end, striking with the user's full strength.

S-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
By raising their straightened leg forward, bringing in their arms and spinning rapidly like a top the user creates a vortex of air around themselves. This vortex starts immediately around them and grows in size at the rate of 10 yards per post until it reaches their full strength in a radius around themselves. Anything caught in this vortex that doesn't have a means of planting themselves against winds of the user's strength will be swept into the air and struck with debris from all angles. This kick can last as long as the user has stamina to keep it going or until disrupted.

Kurai Ikari is a massive beast, fifteen meters from nose to tail and eight meters wide from shoulder to shoulder. He has six massive legs with massive claws as well as a set of horns that points behind the head and a set of tusks that curl down around the face towards the front. His head is shaped similar to that of a bearded dragon and spikes run down his back. Every bit of him is made of flame that always seems to be in movement. He can stand on all six, or he can stand up on just four, or even just two, depending on his activity.

  • General: Ikari is a stern beast who adheres to a particular set of rules. He believes in protecting others, but is not against death entirely. Any death he brings to fruition he will stand and state the reasons behind that death as he is against murder. He takes his oaths very seriously, often allowing himself to be tasked with the protection of particular person or location, forming strong bonds with those he considers ‘worthy’.
  • Hopes/Dreams: His only true hope is to fulfill his oaths, and to show others that the path of honor is not one to be traveled lightly.
  • Fears: Failure is his only true dream, and no matter how small the failure he will always attempt to find a way to make up for it.
  • Combat Mentality: Ikari does not believe in wasting time or pulling punches. Once he has been tasked with taking someone down he will do so unless expressly ‘called off’ by someone he has sworn oaths to. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own.

Additionally, the strength of burns on organic material from katon jutsu is determined by the ninjutsu stat requirement.

The dome is held together at a strength of 20 for 4 posts before falling apart into wild flames.

After performing the correct hand seals the user breathes out gently and sends a wire-thin line of flames at a target. The line can travel up to 20 meters from the user at a speed of 20. If it connects to a target the contact point has all of the chakra forced into it at once, releasing flames all over the target and igniting them with ease.

Shinden Kenjutsu:
Shinden Kenjutsu is a style originating in Marsh Country that emphasizes heavy and damaging slashes from positions that allow flexibility and focus. Typically the user will draw their sword and then lift it over their shoulder or head, in a downward slashing angle to allow for gravity to act as an enhancer for the blow and because of this, heavier swords such as nodachi or odachi are typical fare for the style but the moves can be done with a katana. This style also emphasizes firm and powerful body movements to deal with the lack of blade defense afforded by the stance assumed.

Lifting their sword above their head the user of this technique drives it down in one fluid motion with their blade aimed to slash through or into whatever they are attacking. The force of this technique is amplified by the fact that their stance is aimed to enhance muscle tension and torque, allowing them to make the single slash a very powerful one.

While the basic techniques of Shinden revolve around heavy slashes from standing positions this technique is about harnessing the same destructive potential while moving. Rushing at a foe quickly, the user slashes in a downward motion in order to maintain momentum. The sword is typically swung from right to left or from left to right instead of straight down, the attack usually stopping at waist level to keep from potentially stumbling. While less destructive than some Shinden techniques, it still retains utility in battles of movement.

A technique designed to interrupt foes; the user pulls their hands up on their sword to expose more of the hilt while in typical Shinden stance. Once an opponent comes within range, the user yanks the hilt down in a smashing manner against the foe or a similar target. Afterwards, the user follows with a less damaging downward slash at a foe, making this effective for surprise purposes.

With a stance shift, the user quickly draws their weapon to their waist with the blade facing away from their body. The user then delivers a quick and brutal horizontal thrust forward, followed by a slice, inspiring its name by cutting down unwary opponents. The technique is defensive in nature, allowing the user to guard with the intent to counter.

As most Shinden users wield rather large blades, The user of this technique has trained themself to use the width of their blade as a sort of shield, using it to deflect most small weaponry and block blows reliably. Users should be very liberal with the use of this technique, as too strong a blow could damage their weapon and render it useless, while too thin a weapon makes the use of this technique more difficult than one with a wider blade.

Prerequisite: 15 Strength
The user assumes a somewhat curved stance by drawing one elbow down and bending it back so that the sword points straight up above the user with the left hand at cheek level and the right hand at eye level. This shifts the sword into pointing straight up instead of curved in any direction, allowing for firm and quick slashes and thrusts. This stance also allows the user to recover from an attack at a greater speed, preserving the user's defensive position without sacrificing the power behind their attacks.

Prerequisite: 15 Strength
The user he blade of their sword into the ground and then slashes sideways creating a fairly deep deep crater, around five inches, in the ground in front of them, kicking up a splash of rocks and dust to blind and harry foes. The user then lunges into their foe with an attempt to knock them over or slash at their legs. Foes with at least equal Strength to the user can avoid being knocked over and can maintain ground, preventing the follow-up slash.

Leaping up off the ground in any Shinden stance, the user draws their blade down and creates a powerful overhead slash which doubles as a defensive movement, the user capable of moving the sword to displace weight and momentum to change direction if needed. With this technique, the user can also form heavy slashes on uneven or unstable terrain without dependancy on solid ground.

Prerequisite: 15 Strength
Bringing their blade down and pointing the tip towards their enemy, the user will thrust the length of their blade into his opponent in an attempt to jam their sword through the opponent's torso. To finish the technique the user will lift their target off of their feet by lifting the blade before throwing them as far as they can, swinging the blade to fling them off the tip.

Prerequisite: 15 Strength, 15 Taijutsu
The user will swing their blade in a seemingly wild fashion without truly aiming to connect with a target, at least not with any real accuracy. While it seems to be totally uncalculated to the untrained eye, the user is in fact swinging their weapon in such a way to protect themselves from other attacks while making their approach. By swinging the blade in large circles around their body, they create a whirlwind of strikes that not only serve to bat away blows of lesser strength, but can easily tear apart an opponent on a direct hit.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Shinden • Stream Splitting, 25 Strength
The user focuses an amount of muscle tension and force of a Shinden stance into a single point on the blade, usually the upper half, and then drives it down with enough force to cause a pressure backlash against everything it hits. This creates a pressure wave that flies 5 meters forward at a Speed of 7. The wave is capable of striking back water and kicking up rocks and dirt as it flies.

Prerequisite: 25 Strength
A technique similar to the Fake Out technique, it can cause incredible damage for anyone caught in it. The user assumes a standard shinden stance, bringing their blade down. In mid-slash, however, the user quickly spins the sword and grips it like a dagger, switching from a slash to a quick downward thrust that can trap weapons, impale objects or skewer through most normal substances with the length of the blade.

Kurai Ikari was once a tiny little thing, as hard as that might be to believe, but everything about him is considered Myth and Legend. According to these myths he was once a strong samurai, he fought for the most noble of causes but as years came on him and his talents progressed, so did greed. He began to sell his sword to the highest bidder, sometimes working as protector, and sometimes committing atrocities that simply cannot be put down into print due to the heinous nature of these acts. He did it all for money. It is said that one day he was charged with the murder of two children and though no details were hidden from him about their age, he still took the job claiming the money he was offered made it alright. But when he finally found these two children atop a mountain, he was discovered they were no more than an illusion and the job was just a test from some powerful ‘god’. This ‘god’ cursed the man and the mountain.

The mountain erupted into a great volcano that consumed the samurai’s body but not his soul, it made him into the great monster he is today. He lives every day in this curse, knowing now the consequences of his actions. He hid away from the world, not wanting to frighten the masses and yet wishing he could die despite the pseudo-immortality his new body provided him. He hated that he could not wander the world as he once did, that he could no longer take part in the pleasures of this world as a man could. He wanted revenge, and yet he also wanted retribution.

In the vast emptiness of a country unknown he was found by Hyuuga Aina, a woman who offered him a chance to redeem himself. She could not promise the ‘god’ who cursed him once even paid him any mind any longer, but she did promise him a chance to protect those who would need it and so the pair reached an agreement. He would come when summoned and fight at her side to protect her clan, her village, and her people. In return he could wander the earth in those moments and even have the opportunity to try and make up for his once terrible sins against the world and its innocents.

Arashi no Tori is a very large bird. In appearance he is all black from head to toe, with bright yellow eyes. His wingspan covers fifteen meters from tip to tip while his body measures about eight meters from beak to tale. He looks almost like a giant eagle, save for his colors. As a note, being a bird and having a need to fly, Arashi does 'handseals' using his talons.
Personality:
  • General: Arashi is a very sarcastic beast. He loves practical jokes, and will often feign seriousness for several minutes, or even hours, before finally laughing at a joke he has pooled. Of course, this means he has a very dark humor, often bursting into a fit of giggles when someone dies if he finds their end amusing enough. He is capable of being serious, but this seems to only happen when he has a particular goal in mind, such as protecting someone or fighting for his life.
  • Hopes/Dreams: He has no hopes or dreams, his only love his flying and it is all he wants anything to do with. Nothing else matters to him, almost nothing anyway.
  • Fears: He fears death as he believes no one can fly after death.
  • Combat Mentality: In direct combat, Arashi's joking demeanor often disappears. He will focus on his target, he will focus on the kill, and only when that is done will he go back to his jokes again.

Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

Additionally, the strength of the nervous effect on organic material from raiton jutsu is determined by the ninjutsu stat requirement.

This also works for thrown weapons, however if the projectile remains out of contact with the user for more than 2 posts the technique will dissipate early.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will channel Raiton chakra to two of their fingers. They will then be able to fire up to three total bullet sized balls of concentrated lightning from their fingertips. These bullets will travel at 5 speed, but will not have any physical force. Instead, they will apply light electrical burns similar to a sun burn and will apply Raiton's shocking effect.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 20m diameter. The user's Raiton techniques will travel 5 points faster when they travel through this zone for 3 posts. This technique ends the moment the user leaves this area. They also return to normal speed upon leaving the area. This technique does not apply the shocking effect.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will create a two meter long rod of lightning in their hand. They are then able to launch it at 15 speed in a single direction. Upon contact the spear will explode with the force of a single explosive tag and apply the Raiton shocking effect. If it has not been launched by the end of the second post it will dissipate.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 20m diameter. This will produce an electric current on the ground in this area visible as crackling lightning on the surface. Any other than the user who step into this zone will have the shocking effect applied and their legs will sustain first degree electrical burns. This current lasts 3 posts, while it ends immediately if the user leaves the area.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user creates two orbs of lightning the size of basketballs slightly above their head. They are then able to direct these orbs at a speed of 10 at their will, however they may not move while doing this. These orbs cannot leave a 40m diameter around the user, and detonate with the power of a single explosive tag each on contact with a solid. These orbs last a maximum of 4 posts, and may be self destructed at any moment in their lifespan at the user's will.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user emits a wave of electricity from their palm in a single direction. This is produced as a 10m wide line which extends 2m into the air and travels up to 25m from the user at 10 speed. The wave will apply the shocking effect and reduce the speed of any living thing it strikes by 5 points for 3 posts by electrically interfering with the brain's nervous signals.

The user will first perform the correct hand seals, and then fire a cone of lightning which begins at 5m wide closest to them and then 30m wide at the furthest point. The cone extends 40m from the user's body at a speed of 20. This cascade of lightning roars tremendously loud, and strikes all caught within it at 15 strength. Those caught in the blast will have their speed reduced by 5 points for 2 posts.

The user will first perform the correct hand seals before releasing a basketball sized orb of lightning 15m into the air. The orb will then cascade sheets of lightning down in the shape of a dome over the caster, with a 15m radius. This dome, apart from being exceptionally loud, forms a sort of protection against attacks. It comes into being at 20 speed, and is able to redirect hits of up to 20 strength in a downward direction. These sheets of lightning also serve as a visual obscurity. This technique lasts for up to 3 posts depending on the user's discretion.

After performing the correct hand seals, a beam of lightning will erupt from the user's hand. The lightning will travel 50m at 20 speed and explode with the force of 4 explosive tags on contact, while applying the Raiton shocking effect throughout the explosion's area.

This technique visibly charges electricity for a single moment after the user performs their hand seals. This cylinder travels at a speed of 30 and erupts on contact with the power of 7 explosive tags, spreading the raiton shocking effect throughout the area that it covers.

After the correct hand seals are performed, the user coats themselves in a thick layer of lightning. During this time, the user's physical strikes apply the Raiton shocking effect, while any metallic or chakra based objects are repelled from the user with 20 strength.

This only gives the Shinobi an idea of how many entities with chakra are present in their general area.

The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and then do an additional set of hand seals. The user can determine who has more chakra strength than others, allowing them to pick out possible risks. This technique is not very reliable as a determining factor, however.

By doing an additional hand seal, and holding said hand seal, the user will be able to continue to sense that source of chakra, even if they are moving around, so long as they are holding the hand seal. If they, or the chakra source, moves out of range, the user will lose track of them.

Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • [Target Lock]
After activating Target Lock, the user will do a second series of hand seals, releasing the single seal for target lock, and then recreate it once finishing the series of seals for the technique. Doing so, the user will know their targets speed with a deviation of 3 points. Meaning if their speed is 17, the user will know its within the range of 14 to 20.

Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses]
The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and then do a second set of hand seals. For the next 5 posts, any time anyone within the range of their sensory activates a jutsu, the user will see their chakra “flare” momentarily. While they won’t know anything about the jutsu, it will give them a better idea of the battle field.

B-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses], Ninjutsu/Control/Instinct stats of 20
This jutsu is an extension of [Beyond Senses]. With this jutsu initiated, a sensor can focus on individual chakra signatures to get a precise idea of where their opponents are at up to 25 meters. A general sense of the direction and number of chakra sources can be determined at about 50 meters. It should be noted that this jutsu requires intense concentration, often making the user shut their eyes so they can focus on the jutsu solely. Even with high levels of Chakra Control and Instinct, this jutsu can be mentally taxing as it requires the user to sort through the individual chakra sources in the sensor’s range.

Like with many spirits of his kind, much of Arashi no Tori's history is unknown and all that remains in this day and age to tell are myths and legend. The legend was that Arashi no Tori was once a young man, barely into his adult years as he wandered the countries looking for sin and pleasure. He was never much into money, unless it was what he needed to get what he wanted. He spent much of his time and money on prostitutes and booze, claiming to be an entrepreneur of such things and that he knew the differences of both women and wine in every country there was. But along his path, such a path it was, he found himself in trouble. He came into a bar one night, so drunk he never even knew how he got there, and by morning he awoke next to a naked corpse.

The Legend goes that the father of the girl was gone, but her mother was a great witch of some kind. She cursed the man. He wandered away from the town and village and was taken by a storm, struck by lightning so many times that he wished he had died many many times over. He felt as if he would die but then he did not, he simply continued. How long the storm raged and how long his torment continued he never knew. He only knew that one day he seemed to awake a top a mountain in a body that did not seem to be his own. He awoke the great eagle he is today, and for years he hid away from the world. He did not even fly for fear he would be attacked as a monstrosity.

One day... he was correct. He finally left his roost and got his first taste of flight and the beauty that came with it. But others feared him and on sight he was dragged down by a group of samurai and shinobi. He thought he might die but then a woman with white eyes showed herself. She stopped those that she could, attacked in turn those she could not, and she posed a question to Arashi. Did he wish to remain an outcast or did he wish to have a real purpose? Did he wish to absolve himself of his sins and find a place in the world once more? He hardly had to hear the offer before he readily accepted, becoming protector for Aina's clan and land at her request.
