Appearance:

• Face/head:
  Haruto has an oblong type face with sharp, saddened, red eyes that feel almost like dim, fading lights that need reigniting. The eyes are also darkened red with makeup forming an outline that sticks out at the sides, though it can often feel like it is just lack of sleep or some other kind of abnormality or like he his hiding such a thing.
  His nose is small and almost button-like and his lips are small and thin, often veiled in a gloom as he seems to frown often.
  This Hizashi's eyebrows are thin and sharp with the main strawberry blond colour of his hair, though staying mostly as that at all times whilst his ears curve and stick out with detached lobes.
  Unlike his eyebrows Haruto's wild, short hair is only base strawberry blond with some streaks of yellow and red which both increase in fervour the hotter it gets and the more he uses his Kaenton, in turn becoming more and more like fire as the strands also begin to stand up and become more uncontrollably wild.
• Body:
  Haruto has a slender but decently toned body that at least lives up to the standards of shinobi his rank and age, plus is skin is well tanned like most Hizashi.
  As for his clothing, Haruto tends to keep to the dark end of the spectrum whilst following his clan's motif and keeping it simple; A black long-sleeved top with red stripes along the arms on the side of the elbow and down the middle like a faux zipper.
  He then wears red pants with long, knee length black ninja sandals that also have red stripes down the front, plus there is then the black sash tied and fully tucked around his waist which has Sungakure headband plate out toward the back of his right hip.
  When on duty he also tends to wear a lighter, greyish-black, short-sleeved jacket that has a slightly popped collar and drops down just below his waist with a red stripe down the left side of the middle where it zips up.
  Then there is his shuriken holster tied his upper right leg and a black weapons pouch tied to his lower back just above his bottom using a red sash that neatly binds around his waist, of which he also dons a Sunagakure headband plate just like his other.
• Notable Features:
  Haruto has the Hizashi clan symbol tattooed on his left cheek, though it has a deep scar running through it like a reversed S which can sometimes bleed due to constantly messing with it.
  Haruto also has a large burn scar across his left pectoral, running down his stomach and twisting to the bottom of his back, becoming thinner as it moves down form the chest until it is a bit like a curling tail on the back.

Personality:

• General:
  These days Haruto generally feels like a bit of a downer who is unsure of himself and mostly does what he must do for the village, essentially feeling like keeping hold of and performing his job as a shinobi is all he can do to not disappoint Sunagkure.
  
  This is actually one quiet Hizashi who can often mumble things with a dying flame in his eyes, though there is clearly still some hidden passion as some of it lights up when on duty and he begins to try his best which also brings out some of the loudness within.
  
  His quiet and unsure nature can make him seem kind of boring and not worth listening to which does not help his mumbling, as such he has started not to care about others too much and wishes just to get on with life and his duty though that does not mean he has completely forgotten his clan hospitality and when the time arises he still remains friendly to everyone.
  
  All this had turned Haruto into a bit of a loner with a great air of jadedness as well as a general loathsome attitude, especially when it comes to himself and his own pleasures.
  This even includes his love for stuff like spicy food which he can often forgo if not at home and not bother with, though it seems impossible to shake his habit of just straight up eating chillies like it is nothing, even the hottest kinds which he has no problem with.
  
  As a citizen of Sunagakure he does have a vague devotion to the Sun and the Kazekage and as a Hizashi he has a vague sense of Buddhist behaviours, though for either case it has become weakened and somewhat just like another one of his duties.
• Hopes/Dreams:
  Haruto is not even sure he has hopes and dreams anymore but perhaps he could one day hope to reignite his flame and break the jade encasing his heart.
• Fears:
  Is there any point in fears? Haruto sure doesn't believe so anymore.
• Combat Mentality:
  Haruto prefers to get things over and done with, showing the last bit of warmth his hidden spark has if need be to end all conflict in one single blow.
  
  Though it may take a moment for him to warm up and get to the true heat of the battle but once he is there is will be truly serious about ending things right then and there, almost going on a warpath to do so if his flame can burn long enough without giving up.
  
  That being said Haruto is also a very careful and precise fighter that knows not to show off or put companions in danger, as such he is wary of not performing his larger area of effect attacks if they may splash damage toward friends.

Equipment:
Haruto carries 15 shuriken in his shuriken holster on his right leg.

Then there is also 30 kunai and 90m of wire in his weapons pouch on his lower back, of which all are treated to work well with heat produced from his own techniques so that they can more easily absorb it without melting, though higher levels of heat will still do so and techniques made specifically to melt them will do so with ease.

Haruto also has a sword with a 66cm long blade sheathed to high hip; the sheath and handle are dark black with a red helical stripe running down them whilst the blade appears to be just as black but with a crimson red flame design running along it on both sides.
This sword is named Shinku no Honou and is truly specially treated to both fully absorb great heats from his own technique whilst resisting being melted by them, plus it will also resist being melted by other sources up to 100C above normal and will resist d-rank level weapon specific melting jutsu.
The hotter the blade becomes the more the flame design lights up and begins to shimmer like real fire, granting the sword a cool blazing effect.

First Ability

Kaenton [Heat Element] By fusing together Katon [Fire Element] and Fuuton [Wind Element], members of the Hizashi clan are able to create and use Kaenton [Heat Element]. Passive (Heating)Show Kaenton has to ability to heat anything, increasing it's temperature, causing burns, and introducing people to heat strokes, dehydration, and even possibly death. While Hizashi are naturally resistant to increased temperature, even they can succumb to the excessive heat of their techniques. The heat increase, and the area they can increase, is determined by the rank of techniques, making the elder Hizashi the most danger, able to create flashes of heat that can kill with ease.

Concentrations
Ninjutsu	Katon Affinity A character with this concentration is able to utilize Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Katon affinity. Katon has a passive ignition effect. Passive (Ingition)Show Katon's effect is ignition, which means that all katon jutsu, regardless of effect, start and spread fire from their source. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own. Additionally, the strength of burns on organic material from katon jutsu is determined by the ninjutsu stat requirement. 1-14 Strength Requirement: First Degree Burns 15-24 Strength Requirement: Second Degree Burns 25-34 Strength Requirement: Third Degree Burns 35+ Strength Requirement: Fourth Degree Burns Fuuton Affinity A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/2 the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 20 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 10 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.

By channelling chakra, the clan member can increase the temperature of the air around them. This creates a 10 meter diameter area of heat centred on the clan member for the following seven posts. Anybody within the area will feel an intense heat that will usually cause them to perspire, feel thirst and in general make them uncomfortable.

The user channels and floods the weapon they're holding with Kaenton chakra, raising its temperature by up to 15 degrees Celsius, causing burns on sustained contact. This temperature remains for up to 5 posts or until cancelled by the user.

Kaenton • Heat Blast
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the user sends out a wave of heat at 5 speed up to 10m in front of them in a conical shape that spreads out to 5m at maximum distance. This heat washes over everything in its path and quickly raises the temperature by 20 degrees Celsius, causing first degree burns and continuous discomfort and burns if maintained.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user creates a distortion of heat in front of him/her. This distortion bends light in a way that makes it look like the user. It has no defensive or offensive capabilities and only looks like the user, but is still just a chakra shell with heat inside. Upon contact, the clone dissipates, releasing a cloud of heat into its immediate surroundings. The heat is hot enough to cause first degree burns. Due to the small amount of chakra needed to maintain this clone, it has a large range and is able to travel up to a mile from the user.

Prerequisite: Kaenton • Heat Aura (C)
By channelling chakra, the clan member can increase the temperature of the air around them. This creates a 10 meter diameter area of intense heat cantered on the clan member for the following Seven posts. Anybody within the area will feel an intense heat that will drain 1 stamina every 2 posts. The user is not immune to this effect, but has their stamina drained at a slower rate of 1 stamina every 4 posts. This area travels with the user at a speed of 10. If the user moves faster than 10 speed, the area will follow behind at its max speed of 10.

Kaenton • Mediocre Weapon Heating (C)
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user channels and floods the weapon they're holding with Kaenton chakra, raising its temperature by up to 30 degrees Celsius, melting right into flesh and causing up to 2nd degree burns and loss of moisture on sustained contact. This temperature remains for up to 5 posts or until cancelled by the user.

Kaenton • Sudden Fever
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the user channels Kaenton chakra to their hands, then they will grab hold of their target and flood them with a sudden surge of heat that quickly overwhelms them and drains them as they become more and more dehydrated. In a living being this sudden surge of heat feels like a fever and causes a -3 loss of stamina, which if the hold is maintained then every 2 posts they also begin to lose another -1 stamina but the user also drains their own at an equal rate.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user channels Kaenton chakra to their hands, then holds them out to either side, then quickly passes them in front of each other. As they do so, a wave of heat will grow from them over the course of the next 4 posts at 20 speed. The wave is capable of causing second degree burns on whatever it touches. It is visible as a constantly shimmering wave, which is easily noticeable.

After performing the correct hand seals the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling out a 1 foot diameter fireball at the opponent. It travels up to 10 meters away at a speed of 6 and a strength of 4.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will exhale a small ball of flame directly in front of them. The ball lights up the surrounding area in a 5 meter radius and requires 5 or more Strength to destroy. Unless destroyed, it will stay locked in it's location for 5 posts before fading.

Katon • Fire Slicer
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the required hand seals, the user channels katon chakra into a bladed weapon and then performs a cutting slice through the air. This swing will then release a 1m long blade of fire in the same orientation as the slash, sending it forward at 4 speed and 6 strength for up to 10m before dissipating.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling a thin stream of flames up to 15 meters away at a speed of 10. Either at 15 meters, or if the stream makes impact with anything, the stream will erupt into a spherical C-Rank explosion, scattering flames over everything within a 5 meter radius from the point of impact.

After performing the required hand seals, the user channels fuuton chakra into a bladed weapon and then performs a cutting slice through the air. After performing the required hand seals, the user forms a small 15cm diameter ball of wind which they can move around at 5 speed within a 5m radius of themselves before locking its position in place. Once locked down the ball will just hover in air doing nothing until later kai'd or if its temperature suddenly rises 10 or more degrees Celsius to which it will explode with an explosive tag's worth of force.

The user will first perform the required hand seals and then gather wind around an opponent. This will form a tornado around them at a speed of 12 which extends 10m into the air and has a radius of 3m. The tornado will push back anything that touches it with a strength of 8, while also cutting at whatever tries to push through as well as a kunai would with the same strength. This technique lasts for 4 posts.

History Haruto was born to a decent family within the grand Hizashi clan; his father, known as Kei, was a chuunin who did many different missions and was a minor teaching aid at the Hizashi academy whilst his mother, known as Mio, was a bit of a prodigy and raised to jounin swiftly and also performed many missions of which a few where higher ranking though she was also quite prodigal in her nature but had somewhat plateaued in her skill and calmed down since having him.

Given his birthright as a member of the first clan of Sunagakure, Haruto was granted the privilege of attending the Hizashi ran academy and was taught prestigiously in all his school lessons but especially those pertaining to becoming a shinobi.

Throughout his academy life Haruto always aspired to be as good if not better than his own mother, wishing to live up to the stories his family spoke of her and how much of a prodigy she was all whilst withholding some aspects of her more lavish, extravagant, recklessness and as such he truly tried hard in everything he did.

This led to outstanding marks and skill and the young boy swiftly moved on to becoming a genin where he continued to respect Mio's achievements, aiming to one day surpass them as he pushed himself to the limits and broke boundaries with his training of not only Kaenton but also his Katon and Fuuton which allowed him easily climb to the point of his chuunin exam.

Throughout this short time as a genin the young lad was very joyful and cheery, though truly focused on his studies which made him a little quiet and so he didn't make too many friends but had a particularly strong friendship with a boy named Itsuki whom he met when he was placed at the Scribe's library.

Itsuki was very knowledgeable and truly loved to study and learn things but in a different capacity than his new friend, diverging from the goal to become strong and talented and instead simply honing his mind but either way he was truly the first person Haruto had known from outside his clan and they bonded greatly thanks to their studies.

This friendship did not slow down the young genin's progression however, perhaps even speeding it up thanks to new angles on knowledge, thus he propeleld beyond the capabilities of his team and was advanced up to a chuunin exam against another skilful genin who also needed a challenge and so the two battled it out as temporary foes.

Once the exam was over the pair of youngsters both passed and as a gift for ranking up, Haruto's parents gifted him a special sword that worked well in the heat of which he personally named Shinku no Honou as it was said to have power beyond even his regular weapons that most Hizashi preferred to use.

With his new rank and gift the boy further dived into his duties and aimed to prove his worth by training more and more, advancing his skills beyond many chuunin and even came up with a grand and flashy idea with the help of his friend and so the pair prepared a very grand jutsu they hoped would propel him further up the ladder.

However Itsuki started to realise what they where doing was perhaps too dangerous but nonetheless Haruto went ahead with things and the two met in an underground room they had built themselves near the library, thus a very sad and unforgiving accident occurred; Haruto lost control of his Kaenton and released a powerful explosion of heat that scorched all around them and even began to burn away their clothes.

This heat was truly terrible and filled the small, tight space as it spread not only into himself but also his very dear friend and though he could withstand a lot of it even with burns all over his body, his dear companion could not and appeared almost immediately mummified right before his very eyes.

With such and intense moment Haruto filled with panic and did not know what to do as he stood above his friend almost naked and burnt to a crisp but luckily one of the Scribes felt the surge of power and came to fine them, rescuing both boys like some miracle had whipped them both up and saved them from absolute death.

Unfortunately, whilst the Hizashi recovered with a burn scar across the left side of his chest and down to his stomach and lower back, Itsuki was barely alive when rescued and remained in a coma with his burns tended to every now and again even to this day which left even more scars deep within Haruto's mind that where perhaps scarier than the ones left by his burns.

Since that day the joyful chuunin became swallowed up and his rush to hone his skills ended with him plateauing as just an every day chuunin with perhaps above average ninjutsu ability, his personality eroding the longer the longer it went on and the more unsure of himself he became.

Even his parents could not mend their son; his mother was his lost pride he could no longer look up to and his father was a lowly forever chuunin just like him and no matter how many times the man spoke of how most people where like that, Haruto couldn't help but feel helpless.

Thus the light in the Hizashi's eyes faded and he lost his way, becoming a simple Sunagakure shinobi drone that performed the tasks he was given with no delight and even failing to show up at the hospital as his visits became less and less with guilt weighing him down and him needing to keep himself busy all whilst no longer pushing himself.

Even when he was granted a younger sister, now known as Kokoro, Haruto could not bare to open back up and held on to the most basic of responsibilities for her and as such only doing what was necessary and what he was told just like his shinobi life and in turn not allowing himself to be someone for her to look up to which began to sadden her greatly now she had became 3 years old and he 17.

Shinku no Honou <-What rank/str heat can it resist up to?

I dunno I want it to be able to have a S-rank heat jutsu put the maximum amount of heat into it without melting, except for probably a jutsu specifically for melting weapons (since there seems to be some of those on the clan).
Though if that's too much I would obviously go lower, plus he is only a B-Rank henchie right now anyway and I suppose it could be upgraded later.
Also I did say kunai are similar but at a much lower level, just to prevent melting from general use with heat.

To further clarify, this is not like resisting but using the heat like something that conducts heat greatly but has a huge melting point so the weapon heating techs can be powerful.

So it's not going to be resisting other Heat-based attacks but rather just used to conduct his jutsu? If so, you could word it and the kunai like 'The blade is designed to conduct his own Kaenton/Katon but does not resist the Kaenton/Katon of others' and you'd be fine.

It just seems weird to me that heat from me can be different than other heat so I did actually change it a bit so mine does nothing but it also has a bit of a resistance to other heat, which I figure should hopefully not be pricey at the level I put it (100C and D-Rank specific weapon melting jutsu).
