Application: Mitsurugi, Gene

Change: [Get low!]

A rank Stance
Prerequisites: 30 Taijutsu, 33 Instinct

Description: There are times when in order to remain silent, unnoticed and most of all hidden, one must adapt to their environment in order to best utilize the natural resources available to them. To that affect Gene has learned the importance of being able to get around without walking or running to his destinations by quite literally crawling or maintaining cover by lying prone on the ground. While this does not in any way make him completely invisible, it does make him a smaller target therefore, harder to spot in most situations where cover is optimal and in the proper setting. Effectively, this means that he could hide in the bushes or foliage without drawing attention to himself or behind rocks, logs and similar forms of small cover without standing out from his environment. While in this stance, he may crawl at his full speed and strength without making noise. Another functional component of the stance is Gene's awareness of where he is in relativity to the wind, often instinctively making sure that he opposite whichever direction the wind is blowing to avoid his scent being carried and potentially alerting what he is hunting.

Add the above to Stealth spoiler.

*Shinden • Fake Out
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
A technique designed to interrupt foes; the user pulls their hands up on their sword to expose more of the hilt while in typical Shinden stance. Once an opponent comes within range, the user yanks the hilt down in a smashing manner against the foe or a similar target. Afterwards, the user follows with a less damaging downward slash at a foe, making this effective for surprise purposes.

Add to Shinden spoiler.

Payment: Stance payment Shinden tech training

I'm not sure I understand how this is working to remove scent detection. By lingering in an area longer, you're leaving more of your scent behind, not less, and my crawling all over everything you're just giving it more surface area. I would suggest having it include a knowledge of wind direction and instinctually staying downwind of whatever it is you're trying to hide from if you want to avoid detection by scent.
