Traits: By appearance they usually aren't very tall most not reaching over 5 feet. As far as hair goes they either have wild red hair or straight blue hair. There are cases when some are born with red and blue strands of hair all over there head which eventually there full head turns purple. They have golden honey skin but the prodigies are usually born with a more lighter but dimmer color because light hits them less.

The Phantom Festival
The Phantom clan meet up several times a year at their estate far to the north of the land of earth. There are no exceptions, all members must participate. During this time they focus and discuss ways to improve their clans fundamentals and strengths. Messengers are sent out 2 weeks in advance to all the members so they may get their affairs in order. This is the time to exchange information between one and other and also train the younger members. This last for 2 weeks straight. To keep this secret it is named "The Phantom Festival" and the messengers give the members a flyer that is nothing more than advertisement for the festival. All members of the clan know that this flyer means "Come to the family gathering" basically.
The Phantuma clan are not allowed to release their names to anyone outside of the Land of earth and only to shinobi Ranking higher than themselves. They are not allowed to bring anyone with them to the Phantuma estate even if they are a shinobi from the land of earth.
Influence:
With high secrecy not many know of the Phantuma clan. They are hired assassins that work only for the Land Of Earth and often will be hired to assassinate rivals of their country. They are well respected by the Tsuchikages and Kazekages. They often enlist lots of shinobi to the anbu of Iwagakure.
Starting off as a small traveling clan that performed tricks for groups of people all around The land of earth. they eventually got the title wondering carnival from the huge success they had. During one of their performances it was interrupted by a battle between Iwagakure and Sunagakure. While the powerful shinobi battled it out the Phantuma clan tried to gather each other and flee as so did the audience. A Sunagakure shinobi had almost hit one of the performing children of the Phantuma clan with a flurry of shuriken. Fortunately a member who was a professional knife juggler and the eldest son of the clans leader was able to catch most of the shuriken and escape with minimum scars only missing a few shuriken. The Suna ninja thought he was a Iwagakure shinobi and cut him down instantly. After seeing this the clan members went into a frenzy using their skills from performing for years to support the Iwagakure shinobi and giving them the advantage in the battle. The Phantuma clan suffered heavy casualties after the battle was won. The Iwagakure shinobi who survived helped the Phantuma clan gain favor within Iwagakure. The Phantuma clan kept going on performing until the clans leader "Orro Phantuma" was assassinated by a shinobi from Sunagakure as a message to never interfere with Suna again. After this the clans 4 elders where in charge for a while and struggled to choose a leader out of the 2 candidates. The first being Orro's younger daughter Tula and a young prodigy named Keimyo. They decided to put them both through a test of physicality, endurance, intellect and leadership. Keimyo won in all categories but declined and become her personal guard. Instead he decided that the wars between the shinobi's was undeniable. So he worked together with the elders to create a core system of training that utilized their performances as training. The more they practiced the more they attracted attention for the carnival. Their best performance was by the members who could perform the phantom trick. The phantom trick was nothing more than their kkg that allowed them to move through physical objects. With the new found attention and even more skilled performances they where able to gain enough money to buy a piece of land. This was a direct decision made by Tula. She decided the clan needed a training ground and a place to keep their practices secret. They still traveled but now they where able to train lightly and more efficiently. After the daiyamo of the Land of earth saw a couple of their performances he convinced Tula and Keimyo to enlist some of their members as shinobi although he did bribe them by threatning to tax them for their performances. This actually continued for a while. to the point where they lost the estate. Not wanting to loose all their savings they abandoned it. Soon it got to the point that even Iwagakure was using them to setup and perform in strategic places where they could spy on rivaling shinobi and even assassinate their enemies. This also led to them gaining prestige with the higher ups of Iwagakure. Although they where working for Iwagakure they where never treated as actual shinobi. After a while Tula handed over her position to a prodigy trained by Keimyo directly. His name was Sugoi Phantuma and he was a prodigy like no other. He improved the clans conditions alot and even entered a pact with Iwagakure to become a official clan within the village although they resided outside the village.
One day they where directly attacked during one of their performances by kirigakure shinobi. Although they where more prepared and defended well. Soon they where attacked over and over again. This became a regular occurrence for them so Sugoi decided to change their look and they moved in groups instead of one big target. With their new theme and changes they became known as "The Blood Phantom Circus". They had some members move as guards for the performing members. They slowly began to dissapear for some time due to Sugoi becoming ill so they decided to go into hiding into the mountains far north. For a couple of years there where no more performances until the next leader was chosen. While this time was passing the Phantuma clan found out he had been poisoned and decided that they where better off being more secretive with their actions. So those among them that where shinobi where forbidden from sharing their information with others and anyone who was a performer had to where masks to go out and where not allowed to talk to those outside of the clan and who where not Iwa shinobi. When the new leader was chosen (Sanji Phantuma), they began to do more spy work since it was safer than assassin work. During the second shinobi war the Phantuma clan assassinated many enemies but did not go into the front lines. Because of this they where not recognized widely by the Iwagakure shinobi. Soon they began performing The Blood Phantom carnivals again. Now they still do the same thing and perform only 3 times a year during favorable weather.
Shinobi Information Definitions: The Phantom Performers
Requirements: Phantom body KKG/ Earth and Light release can not learn any other chakra natures
Kekkei Genkai: Phantom body - Can move through physical objects only by changing their density and cannot perform other jutsu or come into physical contact with anything until they release their KKG. Phantom Presence - Can change their transparency by shifting the light through their body. This can be done in addition to Phantom Body but cannot be done with any B rank jutsu and above and cannot use any ninjutsue while using either of the kkg.
