Physical Features: Like most Nara, Tousha has pale skin and a resting stern expression. He finds this ironic considering how informal and mellow he is.
Face/head: Thin eyes, bold brow, stubbly beard. Long, black hair usually tied back into a loose ponytail.
Body: Medium build, modest among Shinobi of his caliber. Despite his age Tousha's body is lean and deceptively strong.
Notable Features/Habits: Feint scar across forehead, several scars riddling body. His hair is also notoriously unruly when not pulled back into a ponytail. He often rubs at his beard or runs a thumb along the scar on his forehead in an absent minded way. His smile is often noted as lazy and carefree.

Clothes:
When traveling and hoping to remain anonymous Tousha wears simple and durable clothing, including a dark, collared cloak that drapes heavily over his left side, a dark circular hat with a wide brim, slim, dark pants that are tied off at the bottom with light grey cloth and dark open-toed ninja sandals. Among the dark colors are accents of muted red, olive green and navy blue.

Tousha's Konoha uniform consists of a dark and light grey flak jacket with a tall collar, a black shinobi shirt with an extended left sleeve adorned with the kanji for "Hokage," black ninja trousers tied off at the end with white cloth, black open-toed ninja sandals and a decorative waist sash emblazoned with red-winged blackbirds. The Nara clan symbol is sewn into the shorter right sleeve of his shirt.

Tousha is not a man easily understood or defined. He is both level headed and unstable, modest and annoyingly arrogant, respectful and rude, honest and sly. The Shinobi loves to make people laugh almost as much as he loves laughing and he'll never say no to a good story, even if he's heard it before. He's a man who firmly believes that life shouldn't be taken too seriously despite falling apart at seemingly insignificant things. He enjoys drinking but dislikes being drunk, and vastly prefers the company of women over men. He’s also a sucker for tea, but hates the cheap powdered stuff.

The Bannin is generally a peace-loving man who will almost always try to talk his way out of fighting, though he dislikes insulting his opponents by refusing an adamant challenge. He finds little satisfaction in combat but won’t shy away from it when he needs to. The Bannin always maintains a shadow of respect for his opponents, almost seeming polite and familiar despite fighting to the best of his ability. Even when fighting powerful opponents Tousha rarely loses his cool, going as far as making small talk or joking around with them. If an opponent pushes him far enough to find his temper, usually by opposing his standards of honor and integrity, Tousha’s mood becomes dark and resentful.

As a leader and mentor, Tousha believes that he should share a feeling of familiarity and equality with those that hold a rank beneath him. He never acts superior towards anyone and often diminishes unnecessary or unwarranted praise with humility and poise. And if there's one thing the Bannin hates more than being put on a pedestal he doesn't think he deserves, it's formality. When faced with on overly formal person, regardless of the position of power they hold, Tousha will speak to them as he does everyone else.

Shadow Manipulation
Less of an element and more like a specialty, the members of the Nara Clan are able to manipulate both their own shadows and shadows in the surrounding area. This chakra allows them to use various techniques that allow them to create effective traps to use against an opponent as long as there is enough light in the area to create the shadows needed to do so. If there is absolutely no light present in the area of the Nara member, they are unable to use their shadow techniques. Requires an above average Instinct and Control for the character's rank. The range at a clan member can manipulate shadows is dependent on their control stat:

6: Can control their own shadow.

Katon Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Katon affinity. Katon has a passive ignition effect.
Passive (Ignition)Show
Katon's effect is ignition, which means that all katon jutsu, regardless of effect, start and spread fire from their source. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own.

Additionally, the strength of burns on organic material from katon jutsu is determined by the strength of the technique

Raiton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Raiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Raiton affinity. Raiton has a shocking effect.
Passive (Shocking)Show
Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

Additionally, the strength of the nervous effect on organic material from raiton jutsu is determined by the strength of the technique.

Sankaton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Sankaton, and advanced form of Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Sankaton affinity. Sankaton has an eroding effect. Those without the Elemental Specialization cannot make custom Sankaton jutsu.
Passive (Erode)Show
Sankaton is an incorporeal element that comes in the form of a fine red haze, that exudes warmth, and has the ability to erode. Anything physical that comes in contact with Sankaton is eaten by the energy, which consumes the Sankaton. This gives Sankaton incredibly powerful offensive and defensive capabilities. Sankaton jutsu are notoriously draining, and are known to push the user to the absolute limit. Sankaton jutsu are limited in size by their control prerequisite, which can make them difficult to use effectively. Sankaton is unaffected by energy based elements, and the two simply pass through them. This makes Sankaton's strength, and it's weakness non-matter based elements.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. Fuuton has an cutting effect.

Fuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/2 the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 20 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 10 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the doton affinity. Doton has a passive enduring effect.

Doton has a passive effect of Endurance, which means that it's power is retained throughout the entirety of the jutsu. All of a single doton jutsu retains the strength of the jutsu, even after the jutsu has been destroyed, and unlike other jutsu, doton does not fade when destroyed. This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. This creates incredibly potent defenses, making doton a popular affinity among defensive fighters.

Suiton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Suiton affinity. Suiton has a passive enveloping effect.
Passive (Enveloping)Show
Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.
Elemental Jutsu: Advanced ChannelingShow
This user has superb chakra control, and has learned to perform jutsu by channeling, without the use of hand seals. The user can channel any ninjutsu that is designed to be channel, and there are no specified parameters in which a jutsu must fall to be channeled by this method. To get this concentration the user must be an Elemental Ninjutsu Specialist, and have picked Control as one of their specialized stats.[/quote]

Nara Tousha: A Brief History

Tousha was born in the spring to an inconsequential Nara couple. At least, inconsequential to the world of the Shinobi. His father had served Konoha as a Genin for many years but retired to pursue a simpler life with a kind and caring Nara woman. Together they would open a simple tea shop that would quickly become beloved by the people of the Hidden Leaf Village. A few years after becoming married the couple would have a child, a boy with the jet black hair of his mother and the stern brow of his father. Like any new parents they shared a great hope that their child would grow up to be successful and happy, regardless of whichever path he decided to walk. Though appearing unordinary and typical in his first few years, to his parents nothing could be further from the truth.

It was common for representatives from the Ninja Academy to survey and inspect children birthed into the dozens of Shinobi Houses and Clans each year. The choice to join the academy was ultimately up to the children and their parents, but records were always meticulously kept regarding the innate abilities of Konoha’s youth for the sake of thoroughness. Tousha’s parents proudly watched as an Academy instructor ran through a few simple tests to determine the young boy’s aptitude. To the instructor's surprise the Nara child possessed a rare and unique chakra signature, one so versatile that he would ultimately be able to utilize all of the basic Chakra Natures. And, to his further surprise, Tousha had inherited the ability to combine these chakra elements with the Nara Clan’s shadow techniques from his mother’s side, a power that hadn’t been seen in generations.

Despite such potential, Tousha’s parents were saddened to hear that the instructor also concluded that the boy’s chakra reserves were so limited that performing even basic jutsu could completely deplete his chakra. It would be too dangerous to the child’s health to allow him into the Academy, and that would be the end of it. It would be years before Tousha’s parents told him about his innate powers, provoked by the young boy asking questions about his friends joining the Ninja Academy and learning peculiar tricks. Any other child may have been satisfied with avoiding learning something that could have easily killed him, but Tousha didn’t like being told he couldn’t do something. So, without his parents knowledge, Tousha starting asking his friends questions about the tricks they were learning. And, more dangerously, Tousha started trying to replicate them.

It wouldn’t be long before Tousha found himself in the hospital. After attempting to complete a simple clone technique, the boy’s limited chakra reserves were very nearly drained. Most of the children who had egged him on ran home, frightened of being punished, but a Nara boy, Tanshi, ran to his instructor instead. Together they brought Tousha to The Leaf’s medical facilities and managed to save his life. Upon hearing this news the boy’s parents were as furious as they were scared. They were about to forbid the young Nara from ever attempting anything like this again, but Tanshi’s instructor stepped forward and introduced himself as Mimota Hiroto, one of the Academy’s newest and youngest instructors. He explained that, given his parents consent, he would personally monitor Tousha and help him become a fine Shinobi. When asked why he would go to such lengths to help their child Hiroto simply stated that he saw himself in Tousha, and that such tenacity would make for an excellent student. Besides, better to safely keep tabs on the young Nara because more likely than not the boy would try to perform jutsu on his own again.

Reluctantly, and to Tousha’s delight, his parents agreed to admit their only child to the Ninja Academy under the agreement that Hiroto would personally see to his development.

Tousha’s first months at the Academy were grueling. Though the boy possessed great chakra flexibility and an impressive stubbornness, his stamina was less than lacking. Even the simplest technique would often leave the boy winded, despite his natural ability to control the shaping of chakra. In fact, Tousha quickly caught on to just about any subject the Academy could throw at him. Mathematics, physics, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, creative problem solving, regardless of the subject Tousha seemed to learn well and fast. He rarely found himself at the top of the class in these subjects, but he never strayed far from it. A few days a week after classes Tousha would report to Hiroto for additional training. His instructor’s rules were simple: Tousha would never try to mold chakra outside of the Academy without explicit permission, and he would always stop when he was told to stop. Patience never sat well with Tousha, but the alternative was far more frustrating than anything Hiroto could throw at him.

Slowly, meticulously, Tousha began to improve. Like any muscle a Shinobi’s chakra supply could be worked to its limit, only to regrow stronger than before.

Despite his chakra stores still being lesser than that of most of his graduating class, Tousha was raised to the rank of Genin alongside many of his childhood friends, including Tanshi. He would be placed on a squad with two other Genin, neither of which he had any complaints about. They would be lead by a recently promoted Jounin; his instructor, Hiroto. Together they would go from competent to skilled, eventually becoming powerful enough to enter the Chuunin exams. To no one’s surprise the entire team excelled in the exams, and each one would be granted the rank of Chuunin after their first attempt. His parents’ pride was only matched by that of his instructor, guiding the young Nara as best he could along the way.

Years would pass before Hiroto would start to show signs of illness. Now in his late teens, Tousha would notice subtle changes in his instructor’s movements, as if simple movements were becoming more strained. The Nara would eventually gather the courage to confront his instructor, and was shocked to learn that Hiroto had been fighting against a neurological disease for several years. The disease itself attacked the Jounin’s nervous system, slowly eroding it and making otherwise practiced movements more and more difficult. Only his wife and the Hokage knew of the disease, but Hiroto had been told that once the disease began compromising not only his own but his team’s safety, that he would be forced to retire. Tousha decided to keep this information to himself, not wanting to end the career of the man who helped him overcome his own limitations. It wouldn’t be until just over a year later, when Hiroto’s impaired reflexes nearly killed one of the Nara’s teammates, that Tousha went to the Hokage.

Hiroto was furious. Being forced to retire from his life as a Shinobi broke the man Tousha called Sensei and friend, turning him into a different person nearly overnight. For months Tousha would avoid his company, relishing in missions that would keep him from the village for as long as possible. Though it made him feel like a coward, Tousha knew it was for the best. He figured that Hiroto needed time to think, and to come to terms with what had happened. That maybe the time apart would quell his anger. Tousha would be right in that, but when Hiroto’s anger eventually faded he was left a shell of a man, his disease progressing faster than expected due to his physical inactivity. A heavy depression would weigh down on the Jounin, and would ultimately drive him to attempting to take his own life.

The evening Hiroto planned to end his life was the same day Tousha decided to pay a visit. He would find the house empty, or so he thought. From upstairs Tousha would hear a loud thud and a groan. The Chuunin bolted up the stairs and threw open his sensei’s door only to find the man on the floor, desperately clutching at the handle of a knife. He was attempting to shove the blade into his own chest, but couldn’t find the strength to keep hold of the weapon. At first Tousha moved to take the blade away, but Hiroto refused to hand it over and wailed when the Nara made any motion to stop him from carrying out the suicide. Hiroto would begin begging Tousha to help him end his own life, that he wanted to die before his mind became trapped in a useless body. Tousha thought of the Jounin’s wife, who had recently become pregnant, and stopped himself from carrying out his sensei’s wish.

The last time Tousha would see his sensei would be watching a group of Konoha medical ninja carrying him off to the hospital, pleading for them to end his life.

Tousha would find solace in his work as a Shinobi, welcoming anything that would distract him from the guilt he felt towards not helping his sensei. Years would pass, he would fall in love, he would father a daughter, become a Jounin and then, unexpected to even himself, Tousha would be chosen to take the trials to become the next Hokage. He would pass these trials and become one of the youngest Hokage in Konoha history at the age of 26. He would retain his title for over a dozen years, all the while making enemies of the Konoha’s Council due to his laid back attitude and progressive ideals. It would be shortly after a Missing Ninja attack on the village led by Fushinko Yaku that the Council would blackmail Tousha into stepping down from Kage, claiming that they and several Clan Heads would use him as a scapegoat for the lack of defenses that allowed the attack to succeed in the first place. They also threatened to make life difficult for his daughter, Sin, if he refused to step down.

Tired from years of fighting the Council and growing restless from the duties of Hokage, Tousha agreed. It would be shortly after his fall from Kage that Tousha would decide to leave the village for a time. Not out of malice, but to see the world and find a new Shinobi way. It would be years before the Bannin would return to the Hidden Leaf, having experienced countless adventures on his travels across the Great Shinobi Nations.

But that’s a story for another time, and another place.

D-rank Ninjutsu
Rather than relying on hand seals the user will extend his first finger, concentrating Sankaton chakra just above the appendage. A .5x.5x.5m diameter orb of pure Sankaton chakra will form at the user's fingertip. This orb can be maintained at the user's fingertip or shot off in a linear path at a speed of 5. This orb can also be recalled in a straight line back to the user as long as it remains within a 10m radius. Any inorganic matter that comes into contact with this orb is immediately eaten away by the Sankaton chakra while organic material is eaten through at half the rate. The amount of material that is destroyed is exactly relative to the technique's volume.

[Sankaton • Consuming Shuriken]
D-rank Ninjutsu
After completing a string of hand seals the user will imbue his shuriken with Sankaton chakra, coating the weapon in a star-shaped dose of annihilation energy. Whenever this projectile hits a solid target it immediately eats up the material in front of it, boring a hole up to 6 inches in depth in front of the projectile and weakening structures by 5 strength.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will touch any piece of metal, transferring a dose of Corrosive Sankaton Chakra into it. This chakra will spread through the entirety of the object at a speed of 5, reducing its integrity by 5 as it rusts away. The user of this technique may continue pouring Corrosive chakra into the object, further reducing the object’s integrity by an additional 5 for each post this technique is maintained.

C-rank Ninjutsu
Rather than relying on hand seals the user will extend his first and second finger, concentrating Sankaton chakra just above the appendages. A 1x1x1m diameter orb of pure Sankaton chakra will form at the user's fingertips. This orb can be maintained at the user's fingertips or shot off in a linear path at a speed of 10. This orb can also be recalled in a straight line back to the user as long as it remains within a 15m radius. Any inorganic matter that comes into contact with this orb is immediately eaten away by the Sankaton chakra while organic material is eaten through at half the rate. The amount of material that is destroyed is exactly relative to the technique's volume.

C-Ranked Sankaton Ninjutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the ninja sends Sankaton chakra into a metallic object, rusting it. When the metallic object pierces the flesh of a living person, the chakra spreads throughout the wound, infecting the area. This causes muscles in the injured area to constantly contract, preventing some movement (with an exception of the heart, lungs, and esophagus). This lasts for 5 posts.

Rather than use a normal method of volume eating, this jutsu uses another method of Annihilation Sankaton chakra. Doing the needed hand seals, the user coats a small projectile in Sankaton chakra. Whenever this projectile hits something, it immediately eats up the material in front of it, boring a hole up to 1 ft in depth in front of the projectile, and weakening structures by 10 strength.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will imbue the ground under him with Corrosive chakra, causing earth and rock to decompose and become brittle. If any additional pressure is placed on the compromised earth it will give way, effectively trapping the target in a quicksand-like substance. Normal methods of escape will be rendered ineffective and the earth affected by this technique is not capable of being utilized by the Doton Release due to the rust tainting it. This technique will begin affecting the ground directly beneath the user and then will spread out in every direction at a speed of 10 for up to 10 meters.

A 3x3x3m diameter orb of pure Sankaton chakra will form in the space over the user's hand. This orb can be maintained at the user's palm or shot off in a linear path at a speed of 20. This orb can also be recalled in a straight line back to the user as long as it remains within a 20m radius. Any inorganic matter that comes into contact with this orb is immediately eaten away by the Sankaton chakra while organic material is eaten through at half the rate. Several cylindrical bars of annihilation particles equaling the volume of a 2x2x2xm diameter sphere will manifest at a Speed of 20, attempting to pierce the selected point in space. Any inorganic matter that comes into contact with these bars is immediately eaten away by the Sankaton chakra while organic material is eaten through at half the rate. The amount of material that is destroyed is exactly relative to the technique's volume.

By completing a string of hand seals the user is able to infuse his Sankaton jutsu with a dose of additional chakra, causing his own technique to destabilize. This destabilization causes the Sankaton chakra of any technique to disperse in all directions at a speed of 20 in the form of a fine, deep red mist comprised of Annihilation particles. Any inorganic matter that comes into contact with these particles is immediately eaten away by the Sankaton chakra while organic material is eaten through at half the rate. Each Annihilation particle has a volume equivalent to that of a grain of sand. The remaining volume of the jutsu that is destabilized determines the technique's effective diameter.

After manifesting any Sankaton chakra the user is able to complete an additional hand seal, flooding chakra to the center of the mass of Annihilation particles. This additional chakra will rapidly expand the Sankaton particles outward in every direction at a Speed of 20, increasing the technique's diameter by up to the user's Control/2 meters while retaining the same metric volume but over a greater area.

The user will then thrust his fist forward, releasing the Annihilation Sankaton chakra outward in the form of dozens of thin beams equaling the volume of a 3x3x3m sphere. These beams remain attached to the sankaton chakra surrounding the user’s fist as they branch outward at a speed of 20, their long tails zig-zagging as the head of each beam attempts to find its target. Each beam can be freely manipulated by the user as long as the beams remain within a 20m radius of the user. Any inorganic matter that comes into contact with these beams is immediately eaten away by the Sankaton chakra while organic material is eaten through at half the rate. This orb can also be recalled in a straight line back to the user as long as it remains within a 20m radius. Any inorganic matter that comes into contact with this orb is immediately eaten away by the Sankaton chakra while organic material is eaten through at half the rate. A concentrated beam of Sankaton chakra will form in the direction of where the user's hand is pointing. The user is capable of adjusting the beam's length at a Speed of 25, reaching lengths of up to 15 meters or shrinking down to no more than .5 meters. The overall volume of Sankaton chakra created is equivalent to a 3x3x3m diameter orb, allowing the user to flood additional Sankaton chakra into the technique to "refill" any of the beam's chakra. Any inorganic matter that comes into contact with this orb is immediately eaten away by the Sankaton chakra while organic material is eaten through at half the rate. The amount of material that is destroyed is exactly relative to the technique's volume. This technique will remain active until all of the Sankaton chakra is used up or dismissed by the user.

This flame will separate into seven small orbs of light, each of which can cast light in a 5 meter radius and is gently warm to the touch. After performing the correct hand seals, the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling a thin stream of flames up to 15 meters away at a speed of 10. Either at 15 meters, or if the stream makes impact with anything, the stream will erupt into a spherical C-Rank explosion, scattering flames all over everything within a 5 meter radius from the point of impact.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will gather a dose of Katon chakra in his hand. This chakra will emit a searing hot flame, engulfing the user’s hand. This Katon chakra can be used to cauterize flesh on contact, effectively but painfully closing wounds that would otherwise be very difficult and timely to treat on the battlefield. This technique has limited offensive qualities as it would take a considerable amount of time to sear the flesh of an unwilling opponent.

After completing a string of hand seals Tousha will draw a deep breath before spewing a comet-like stream of fire. The compact fireball at the head of the stream can travel at a Speed of 20 for no more than 15 meters. Upon contact, activation by the user, or after reaching its maximum distance the fireball will explode with the force of 4 exploding tags. This technique can be used offensively but is also useful for knocking incoming items or opposing Ninjutsu off course due to its concussive force.

After completing a string of hand seals Tousha will draw a deep breath before spewing an incredibly concentrated gash of Katon chakra. This stream of fire will travel up to 15 meters before exploding violently outward with the force of 5 exploding tags and a strength of 30 in the form of thousands of fiery birds, creating a towering wall of searing hot flames that reaches 10 meters tall, 2 meters thick and 25 meters wide. After blossoming into this wall of fire the technique will remain where it emerged and is capable of searing flesh to the bone upon unprotected contact. This jutsu can be maintained for a maximum of 3 posts.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user gathers wind around their feet. Then, the user will use the wind to blast them from the ground, enabling them to leap into the air an extra 10 meters at 3 extra speed. The user also has 3 less Taijutsu until they once again touch the ground. Those with less than 5 Taijutsu (after deduction) will stumble and fall when trying to land. The Fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

By performing the needed hand seals and bringing their hands to their mouth, the user can release a wide blast of air. This wave of air moves outward in a cone shape with a 15m width at the end of the cone and moves with a speed of 10. Once it makes contact with a substance, the wind both cuts at it and pushes it away with 10 strength. This blast goes out for a maximum of thirty feet if it doesn't hit anything, where it will dissipate into the surrounding air.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will gather Fuuton chakra around a shuriken before throwing it. A mass of cutting wind will surround the projectile, increasing the shuriken's diameter to 3 meters and striking anything it touches with a cutting strength of 10. After 3 posts this fuuton chakra will dissipate.

After making the required hand seals, the user will focus chakra into their mouth. They will release the wind chakra as a large sphere with a 10m radius at 20 speed, which has a maximum range of 50m. Should the target be hit within the first 30m, the attack will inflict the maximum amount of damage, causing an explosive force equivalent to 4 explosive tags, spreading cutting winds capable of slicing close to the bone over the same area. Should they be struck in the last 20m, it will only apply 3 explosive tags worth of force and range.

After performing the required hand seals, the user stirs a great amount of wind around their person. A tornado with a 10m radius will form around them at 20 speed, extending up to 30m in the air. This wall of wind is perfect for defense or trapping an opponent in an enclosed area. Anything that tries to pass through the winds will be sliced viciously with 20 strength blades of wind as sharp as katana blades. This technique lasts for 4 posts, unless released earlier.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will imbue the nearby air with Fuuton chakra, causing a strong gust of wind that pulls anything within a 5m radius towards him with a strength of 20. This technique is primarily used to draw opponents closer while applying a Strength of 20. Any opponent with more than 20 Strength will not be affected by this technique’s pull, however any opponent with less than 20 strength will be violently pulled towards the user.

After completing a string of hand seals a fierce whirlwind will radiate from the user at 30 Speed, churning the air with razor sharp wind in the form of thousands of swallows capable of cutting objects in their path to pieces. In the middle of this whirlwind is a safe zone of 3 meters where the user and other allies may safely stand as the flock of Fuuton rages around them. This whirlwind will slice at anything in range with a Strength of 30 and can reach a radius of 40 m in all directions. This technique can be maintained by the user for up to 4 posts.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will imbue his weapon with Fuuton chakra at a Speed of 20, extending the weapon’s range by 2m without adding additional weight for up to 6 posts. The air surrounding this weapon drastically increases its sharpness, allowing it to cut with a Strength of 40 within a .5m radius of the imbued blade.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will saturate the air with Fuuton chakra, molding it into the shape of a massive tiger resembling a Byakko around himself and up to two allies standing near him. The user (and possible allies) will be pulled into the center of this wind tiger as it forms at a speed of 35, reaching a height of 15m and a length of 30m. The Byakko will move at the user's will at a speed of up to 35 and maintains a Strength of 45, easily cutting through steel on contact. Any object, target or technique that passes into the tiger's shape will be constantly sliced by the roaring wind inside its shape with a Strength of 45. The user must maintain a single hand seal while performing this technique from inside the Byakko or the wind will dissipate harmlessly. This technique can be maintained for up to 8 posts unless the user supplies additional chakra.

After completing a brief string of hand seals the user will attempt to touch the target, transfering a small charge of Raiton chakra into them. This Raiton chakra will travel to the opponent’s hair at a speed of 8 with a strength of 1, causing slight tingling in the scalp. For the next 200 posts the user’s hair will stick out in every direction and crackle with harmless arcs of electricity, ignoring all but the most serious efforts to regain control of whatever style it was in before.

This will produce an electric current on the ground in this area visible as crackling lightning on the surface. This current lasts 3 posts, while it ends immediately if the user leaves the area.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will augment his metal weapon with Raiton chakra, coating it in crackling lightning. Any target that comes into contact with this Raiton infused weapon will experience a passive shocking strength of 10, causing a loss of sensation at the point of contact. This electrical current is also capable of traveling through an opponent's metal weapon if it makes contact with the user's own augmented blade and shocking the opponent's hands and causing numbness. This Raiton chakra will remain apparent in the user's weapon for up to 5 posts unless additional chakra is supplied by the user.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will throw his hands outward and release a burst of Raiton chakra, causing crackling bolts of lightning to leap out in every direction in the form of a makeshift dome. These bolts of lightning will move outward at a Speed and Strength of 20, causing painful electrocution as well as localized paralysis and numbness wherever struck. This dome of Raiton chakra can reach up to a 10 m diameter and can be maintained for up to 3 posts before dissipating harmlessly.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will flood up to 5 metal objects with Raiton chakra. These objects must be within a 10m diameter of the user and will retain this charge for up to 5 posts as long as they stay within 20m of each other. If a target disturbs the current connecting these objects by passing through it a powerful bolt of Raiton chakra will form between them with a Strength and Speed of 20, causing painful electrocution and loss of sensation. This effect will be compounded if the target remains in the current or if they pass through multiple currents simultaneously.

This technique requires two users to complete the same string of hand seals before pointing their hands at each other. As they do a crackling bolt of lightning will form between them, beginning at the users’ outstretched hands and meeting in the middle with a Strength of 40 and a Speed of 20. This bolt is .5m wide and can stretch up to 15m as long as both users are maintaining the technique in tandem, allowing each user to move at full speed while performing the jutsu. Anyone caught in this continuous stream of lightning will experience Raiton’s passive paralysis effect wherever struck, causing localized paralysis and numbness. Due to the intensity of the electrical current this technique is also capable of searing through solid matter passing through the beam. This Raiton current will remain apparent for up to 4 posts before dissipating without the users supplying additional chakra.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will saturate the area with Raiton chakra, electrifying the ground and any object touching it within a 30m diameter. Any target other than the user or his allies who steps on the ground or any object touching the ground in this area will be painfully electrocuted with a Raiton passive Strength of 25, causing localized paralysis in the limb that made contact. If this affects the target's legs it will reduce his or her speed by 9 for 4 posts. Prolonged contact with an electrified object will result in further injury and painful electrical burns. This electrical current will remain apparent for up to 5 posts but will dissipate immediately if the user leaves the area.

Rather than relying on hand seals the user will engulf his hand with crackling lightning and raise it to the sky, channeling a massive amount of chakra into the air. Over the span of a full post the skies above the user will grow dark and loud with thunder and lightning as the user's chakra saturates the atmosphere. On his next post the user will gather this lightning in the shape of a massive wolf-like creature resembling that of a Raijū before guiding it to the ground at a speed of 50. After connecting with a target or the ground the Raijū will explode with the force of 24 exploding tags, engulfing a 40m area in Raiton chakra with a Strength of 40.

This means, for example, if they transform into something with claws, they will have claws that can physically be used. For the disguises 5 post duration, if it is damaged by a hit of 16 or more strength, the disguise "poofs" from existence. This includes collateral damage caused by striking an opponent that may occur to the disguise.

Upon completely cocooning the user, the hair disconnects from the user's hair, leaving it at it's original length. The hair of the cocoon is chakra infused, providing immunity to electricity, this lasts for up to four posts.

After channeling chakra into their body, the user enhances their movement to attack or retreat suddenly, the ninja almost instantly moves up to 20 meters on the ground in a single straight direction. After the quick movement has stopped, there is a brief pause where the user must recover from the movement. Even though it's not a full teleportation, this jutsu uses up one of the 2 teleportations a character can use in a single thread.

This shadow will expand at a speed of 20 up to a 15 meter diameter. If any opponents shadow comes into contact with this circle they will be linked with the user's in movement, so that everything the user does is mimicked by the opponent. A Strength of 20 is needed to break out of this technique. If multiple opponents are caught in the circle's diameter their collective Strength is added together to oppose the technique's Strength.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will manipulate his own shadow to envelop any source of Shadow Fire within a 15 m radius. This technique’s only purpose is to extinguish the harmful deep red flames by cutting them off from light entirely, using the user’s shadow as a means of smothering the Katon chakra entirely. These flames will disappear harmlessly after a single post.

After performing the needed hand seals and flooding a shadow within the Nara's Control range with chakra, the user will send a shadow out across any surface toward a target in an attempt to connect it with an opponent's shadow. If contact is made the user and the opponent will be linked together in movement, so that everything the user does is mimicked by the opponent. The initial shadow moves at a speed of 23 and can be controlled at will within the Nara's Control range. A Strength of 45 is needed to break out of this technique. Other Ninjutsu can be used during the duration of this technique with the use of additional hand seals.

After completing a string of hand seals the user will flood chakra into any number of shadows up to the user’s control within range, honing each shadow into a razor sharp point as hard as steel. Each shadow spike can be manipulated individually and will remain apparent for up to 5 posts before reverting back to normal shadows.

After manifesting the Hokage’s Mantle the user of this technique is able to shape the shadows surrounding him into the form of up to two hands at a speed of 30, each retaining the Mantle’s defensive Strength. These limbs spawn roughly the same size as the user’s own arms but can be stretched as wide as 2 meters and as long as 20 meters. The shadow limbs are directly controlled by the user at will and can move at 30 speed with strength equal to the Hokage's Mantle. This technique can be used in a number of ways, such as wielding weapons, deflecting incoming attacks or even performing hand seals for additional jutsu.

The shadows comprising the mantle can be manipulated by the user at will through the use of supplementary jutsu, but constantly retains its high defensive qualities while in effect. This technique can be maintained for up to 10 posts, after which the shadows will dissipate unless the user supplies additional chakra.

Anything in this range will be burnt to ash on contact, though the user will be protected by the Mantle’s natural defensive qualities. These dark red flames will continue to burn as long as they are exposed to any source of light, continuously burning any target it makes contact with and resulting in further injury until extinguished.

Before completing any Sankaton technique the user is able to infuse the Annihilation chakra with Shadows, giving the Sankaton technique a near solid black outline. This affects the Annihilation chakra in two ways; the first being it makes the Sankaton particles tangible, meaning they can interact with objects and techniques it otherwise could not. The second is that if the Annihilation chakra touches a target’s shadow it eats away the shadow itself, causing the relative matter casting the shadow to be eaten away as well. The total matter consumed is still relative to the volume of the Sankaton technique, with organic matter being consumed at half the rate of inorganic matter.

Mujuushin Kenjutsu - Sword of No Abiding Mind An ancient sword philosophy passed down from master to student, Mujuushin Kenjutsu emphasizes a sharpening of the mind just as much as the physical act of swordsmanship. By entering practiced states of mental being it allows the practitioner to push himself beyond his preconceived boundaries, allowing his body and mind to act instinctively and unmitigated. This is accomplished by looking inward, to acknowledge one's spirit openly and transparently. Often students of Mujuushin Kenjutsu are not permitted to begin physical disciplines until the style’s philosophies become second nature.

Though the variety of sword required to effectively perform the style's physical disciplines varies (nearly any short to mid sized bladed weapon), a single philosophy lays the foundation for the weapon's use: the user treats the sword as if combat tarnishes its purity. Mujuushin Kenjutsu does not preach the art of war, but a respect and appreciation for one's own breath, spirit and inner strength. It is said that to truly understand Mujuushin philosophy in combat the practitioner must first forget himself, then his own blade, and then his opponent's existence. Only then would his movements be true and pure.

Another name known to the style, "Spirit in Continuous Motion," describes the physical attributes of the sword art, the vessel in which its philosophies are demonstrated in the material world. Mujuushin Kenjutsu emphasizes simplicity in its movements as well as biomechanical economics, utilizing movements only when necessary to avoid needless fatigue. This gives users of the style an air of effortlessness and ease, as if clouds floating on the wind. The simplicity and repetition of the student's training allows the body to complete these motions with blinding speed, fluidly and without pause.

True masters of the style are even able to complete physical acts with such speed that their actions go unseen and unnoticed by the untrained eye. Movements achieved by this level of mastery produce seemingly tangible after images, mere ghosts of an action already completed.

Opponents possessing an Instinct equal to the user's Speed are able to see through the after image.

Any projectile thrown or fired with less Strength than the user's will be battered off course harmlessly. This maneuver can be maintained while the user is moving and will last until the user exits it. Through honed perception the practitioner of this Discipline is able to track one or many projectile’s trajectory to its point of origin nearly instantaneously. This will allow the practitioner to both track down the attacker’s location and determine where the attack will land if it continues unimpeded.

C-ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Mujuushin Kenjutsu philosophy emphasizes nonlethal solutions to threats when possible. With that mentality, practitioners of this Discipline are adept at disabling opponents rather than killing them. This includes aiming for nonlethal parts of the body, such as the elbows, hands, fingers, legs, knees and shoulders to reduce or completely negate his opponent’s ability to continue fighting.

Through heightened perception and combat experience, the practitioner of this Discipline is able to react more effectively to attacks he has already seen or experienced. This applies to physical attacks as well as Ninjutsu or Genjutsu.

An advanced version of the Dancing Leaf technique, the practitioner of this Discipline has mastered avoiding harm with minimal movements to the point of appearing intangible. The user will avoid an incoming attack and return to his initial position with such speed that it will appear as though the attack merely slipped through his body rather than being dodged. If the user moves at a Speed of 45 or greater this motion will produce a seemingly tangible after image, masking the actual location of the user. Opponents possessing an Instinct and Speed/2 equal to or greater than the user's Speed are able to see through the after image.

S-ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisites: 45 Speed, 35 Taijutsu, Mujuushin • Five, Mujuushin • Absence of Body
The ultimate physical discipline of Mujuushin Kenjutsu, one that requires a complete understanding of the sword art’s philosophies. The user will first enter the Absence of Body discipline, forgetting his physical being and removing the mind’s preconceived limits of bodily movements. Once in this mental state the user will move with blinding speed, slashing at the target or targets nine times, usually from separate directions. If this technique is performed correctly each slash will land near simultaneously, making this technique as hard to predict as it is to ward off. If the user moves at a Speed of 45 or greater each attack will produce a seemingly tangible after image, masking the actual location of the user. Opponents possessing an Instinct and Speed/2 equal to or greater than the user's Speed are able to see through the after image.

Prerequisites: Hokage's Mantle, 45 Control
Once enveloped in the Hokage's Mantle, Tousha is able to augment his physical strength by channeling his chakra through its shadows. After casting this jutsu, Tousha can turn the defensive Strength of the Mantle into offensive Strength as each strike he makes is extended by an extra inch with the Mantle performing a second strike with 50 strength. This jutsu lasts for 10 posts and can be deactivated at will, allowing the Mantle to revert back to its defensive Strength.

The user of this Genjutsu will touch an object and claim it to be something that it is not. Any target who hears what the user claims the object to be will see it as that object and not what it actually looks like. This illusion will not take effect if the real object and false object are of a reasonably similar size or weight.

[Genjutsu • Throw Voice]
D-ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After gathering his chakra the user will speak. Any target who hears the user speaking will instead hear him speaking from a location of the user’s choice. This does not amplify the volume of the user’s voice, it simply alters from where the target perceives it originating. This technique can be maintained for up to 3 posts unless the user supplies additional chakra.

The user will do a series of hand seals, then within the next post, snap their fingers. Anyone who hears the snapping will hear an explosion in the distance behind them. This works as an effective distraction, or a scare tactic, if properly utilized.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, then point indiscriminately. Should the target see the pointing motion, they'll be captured in this genjutsu. For the following 4 posts, the target will see a shadow in the corner of their eyes, constantly shifting out of view when they attempt to look at it.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After performing the hand seals and pricking the opponent with some sort of small weapon (usually senbon), the opponent feels their arms and legs fall asleep. It feels as if the blood flow to these appendages has basically stopped, making their movements a tad sluggish and just all around uncomfortable. This jutsu doesn’t really hinder a person, but it makes everything they do feel off. For those who are attuned to the way their body feels during battle, it can be extremely distracting. Lasts 3 posts.
[Genjutsu • Charmed]
C-ranked Status Genjutsu
The user of this Genjutsu will say a phrase containing the word “charm”, “charming” or “charmed.” Any target who hears this will feel inclined to treat the user with a friendlier temperament, becoming more agreeable and helpful. This does not allow the user to force the target to do something he or she would be adamantly against, but instead offers more wiggle room for coercion. This technique can be maintained as long as the user continues altering the target’s chakra or until the user releases the Genjutsu.

*[Genjutsu • Reverse Hypnosis]
C-ranked Status Genjutsu
This is a three post genjutsu. To start the genjutsu, the ninja does the hand seals that are needed and then places a hand on the target. Until the genjutsu ends the target is able to remember a lot more about their past and has a lighter barrier over their consciousness making it easier for them to spill information. This doesn’t weaken their will, however, meaning if they are aware it’s a genjutsu, they are more than capable of using Kai.

[Genjutsu • Shadow Deception]
C-ranked Illusion Genjutsu
Prerequisites: Nara Clan
By completing an additional string of hand seals before performing any Nara Clan jutsu, the user is able to cast an illusion on the shadows being manipulated. Any target that perceives this shadow will see it suddenly branch into dozens of tendrils, all moving independently of the real shadow being manipulated and moving at an equivalent speed. This will make locating and avoiding the real shadow much more problematic. This illusion will remain apparent for up to 3 posts unless the user supplies additional chakra.

[Genjutsu • Urinary Urgency]
C-ranked Warp Genjutsu
After completing a string of hand seals the user will flood chakra into a target’s drink. If the target drinks the liquid within 4 posts they will be put under a Genjutsu that causes acute urinary urgency, making the target believe he desperately needs to visit the bathroom. This technique will remain apparent until the target attempts to relieve himself or if the user dismisses the Genjutsu.
[Genjutsu • Misappropriate]
B-ranked Warp Genjutsu
A versatile and subtle Warp Genjutsu, the user will gather chakra and speak with an opponent. Any target who hears these words will have his chakra altered, making the opponent believe something on his person is either missing, still in hand or active. This can apply to equipment and weaponry or can even trick the user into thinking he has already activated or deactivated an ongoing technique/jutsu. This technique will remain apparent for 5 posts if the user does not supply additional chakra to keep it active.

[Genjutsu • Transfiguration]
B-ranked Warp Genjutsu
By completing an additional hand seal when performing any Ninjutsu technique the user can cast a Genjutsu on his own jutsu. Any target who perceived the user making these hand seals will not see the actual jutsu being used, but instead an illusion of another technique of the user’s choice. This allows the user to catch a target off guard, potentially rendering his opponent’s method of dealing with the incoming attack less effective or overly so to the point of wasting chakra. The target of this technique is also subtly compelled to attempt to counter the user's jutsu rather than just avoid it.

[Genjutsu • Vanish]
B-ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After completing a string of hand seals the user will flood his body with chakra. Any opponent who can see the entirety of the user's body will seemingly lose sight of him as if the user has completely vanished. This technique will be broken after the user's next attack and can be maintained for up to 5 posts.
[Genjutsu • Midnight]
A-ranked Illusion Genjutsu
Prerequisites: Nara Clan
After completing a string of hand seals the user will flood chakra into the shadows within his Control range. Any target who perceives any of these shadows will see them begin to stretch and join together at a speed of 35, casting the entire area in inky black shadows that block out any form of light to severely limit the target's ability to see. Any light the target creates is seemingly swallowed by the darkness and is rendered ineffective beyond a few inches. This illusion will remain apparent for up to 6 posts unless the user supplies additional chakra.

[Genjutsu • Unnoticed]
A-ranked Status Genjutsu
After completing a single hand seal the user will flood chakra into his own body. Any target that can see the user's entire form will be affected by this Genjutsu, tricking his brain into forgetting about the user's presence. This does not make the user invisible but alters the target's ability to process the user's presence and intentions, as if the target's brain is actively avoiding looking for the user. This technique can be maintained for up to 6 posts and will deactivate after the user harms the target in any way.
[Genjutsu • Absolution]
S-ranked Status Genjutsu
The user will flood a weapon with chakra before turning it over so that the blade is pointing down at the ground. The user will then drop the blade so that it sticks in point first and remains standing upright. Any target that sees this weapon will have his chakra altered, an overwhelming feeling of safety and an urge to join the user at the dropped blade overtaking any aggression he may feel. The user and anyone affected by this Genjutsu will then sit at the blade not as combatants but as human beings, the Genjutsu's effects subtly coercing any targets to speak openly with one another. This has different effects on each target, whether that be an opponent exploring a wound from their past, a deep regret that fuels their actions or even an admission of guilt that haunts them still. Regardless of what each target chooses to share, if they are honest and open with themselves they are able to either begin to come to terms with their issue or even permanently make peace with it. Others may find no comfort or interest in self revelation and will remain silent for the duration of this technique. After the target has explored what needs to be said, the Genjutsu is broken and he is free to continue the fight or part ways peacefully. This technique can be maintained for up to 6 posts unless the user supplies additional chakra.

I bumped up Shadow's Grasp to A-rank and made the appropriate changes to Tousha's jutsu pyramids. I also added a new S-rank under the Nara pyramid and subtracted the appropriate amount of points.

EDIT: Added the advanced channeling concentration.
