Uchiha Itsuki
The Red Eyed Beast
Revenge will break my shackles.
General Information
General InformationShow
Age: 24 Gender: Male Height: 5’11” Weight: 178 AppearanceShow
Physical Features: Itsuki stands at five foot eleven with quite the muscular figure. Where most shinobi focus on a lithe, agile build, Itsuki was blessed with the genetics for muscle growth, and he has trained that genetic blessing. His springy hair appears to naturally coil and knot itself into a loose, short dreadlock look, appearing more as curling cones haphazardly protruding from his head than any specific style he is attempting to achieve. Despite his unkempt and uncared for hair, his beard is properly groomed and styled as a thickened chinstrap style. His body and face are marred by numerous scars and marks from a childhood of living outside a village and teenage years of quickly adapting to the life of a shinobi. Itsuki dresses simply as a shinobi, his brown flak jacket worn over a maroon and black hoodie and loose, black trousers. He wears the traditional shinobi sandals most days and favors comfort then utility, then style when it comes to his clothing choices. Underneath his clothes, Itsuki almost always wears a black bodysuit that covers his body from neck to ankle and wrist completely and is form fitting. Itsuki has turned his forehead protector into a belt, often times hidden by his top, but always on his body, only on official circumstances does he wear it on his head as is designed. PersonalityShow

Uchiha TaijutsuShow
The Taijutsu style of the Uchiha Clan relies on the Sharingans ability to improve the reflexes and combat sense of the Clan member to focus on a more defense oriented style. The style focuses on both letting the opponent get close to the user who will engage them with a variety of grapples, locks, punches, and kicks to turn the foes movements and momentum against themselves along with the user closing in on their opponent through zoning footwork and pressing an advantage.

B-Rank | |
---|---|
~Awareness B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline Prerequisite: 20 Sharingan Mastery The user has learned to use their Sharingan to pay attention to their opponent's minuscule movements preceding an action and other things in the midst of a fight. The longer the fight goes on, the more details about the opponent will become noticed by the user. The user can only notice and follow those with a Taijutsu equal to or lesser than their [Taijutsu+Instinct]/2. ~Recognition B-Rank Discipline Taijutsu Prerequisites: 20 Sharingan Mastery Humans are being of habits and patterns, this is no exception in combat, ranging from taijutsu to hand seals. Patterns already being easier to remember, the user has trained with their Sharingan to actively commit whatever he sees to his short-term memory. This allows him to remember things such as the beginning wind up to a strike or a hand seal pattern after seeing it once, so that he can recognize the technique if used later in a battle. This gives him an advantage in anticipating his opponents next action and makes an opponent’s consecutive usage of a technique a liability. ~Pressing the Attack B-rank Taijutsu Maneuver The user will await an incoming blow before stepping inside of the strike and pulling the limb past them. The pull is meant to force the opponent into the user and put them off balance while the user closes in and delivers a strong knee strike to the stomach to force the opponent to bend. Once bent, the user will use one arm to deliver a downward elbow into the opponent's back while their other arm aims a brutal uppercut at their face. |
A-Rank | |

~Foresight A-Rank Taijutsu Stance Prerequisite: 30 Sharingan Mastery Due to their Sharingan's ability to see even the most minute of changes, the user is able to easily predict the opponents strikes and as such greatly increase their ability to evade or respond accordingly so long as they have a [Taijutsu+Instinct]/2 greater than or equal to the opponent's Speed. This is most commonly used when surrounded by opponents, allowing the user to constantly be on the move; ducking, tilting and side-stepping in their efforts to move out of the path of incoming attacks. ~Order Within Chaos A-Rank Taijutsu Stance Prerequisite: 30 Sharingan Mastery The user's Sharingan will lock onto a number of targets equal to their Mastery stat, allowing the user to keep track of and fight against them without losing pacing or rhythm in battle. This allows the user to use their arsenal of attacks and expert levels of situational awareness to overwhelm even large groups of armed or unarmed opponents quickly. This is only possible if each opponent's ([Taijutsu+Speed+Instinct]/3-10) is lesser than their own [Taijutsu+Speed+Instinct]/3. |
Strong Fist StyleShow
Strong Fist:This style focuses on being overall more physically powerful than your opponent. Users attempt to overwhelm defenses with great speed and strength while chipping away at their opponent’s stamina and keeping their own at the highest possible. Most attacks are simple in execution but extremely powerful in effect, causing battles of attrition to be in their favor.
Requires:
- [Close Quarters Combat] Concentration
D-Rank | |
---|---|
*[Strong Fist Style • Balance] D-Ranked Taijutsu Stance A neutral stance taken by even entry level practitioners. This stance involves turning your body to be perpendicular to your opponent. One foot is rested directly in front of the other with just the toes in contact with the ground. A hand is held back while the other is forward, pointing up. This stance provides ease of dodging incoming blows by using the least amount of motion possible while still being ready to launch into an attack. *[Strong Fist Style • Leaf Gale] D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver A simple sweeping kick aimed low to knock the opponent off balance. *[Strong Fist Style • Dynamic Entry] D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver In this technique, the user builds momentum and speed in order to bridge the gap between themselves and a distanced target. After covering an appropriate distance, the user then lets loose a form of distraction, like a thrown object, in order to misdirect the target's attention. The user then leaps with their momentum, delivering a strong kick to bridge the rest of the distance. *[Strong Fist Style • Dynamic Action] D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver Because distances tend to become the problem in most taijutsu, the practitioner will advance with every strike. This creates a tempo of advancement that is designed to wear down their opponent through ever pressing strikes, giving little chance for escape or recovery. *[Strong Fist Style • One Inch Punch] D-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline When fighting in close quarters it becomes difficult to generate energy for full powered strikes. Practitioners have learned how to explode force from every muscle with minimal energy wasted and space needed. Every strike done by the practitioner has the potential to be at full strength, so long as they have at least one inch of movement. |
C-Rank | |
---|---|
*[Strong Fist Style • Great Leaf Flash] C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver Prerequisite: *[Strong Fist Style • Balance] The user will tense the muscles in their lower body to a great degree. Doing so causes them to briefly become immobile but creates an enormous amount of pent up energy. By bringing their back leg forward in a straight kick they release all of this energy in a single explosive burst. This can take out a lot of defenses and unless they’re supported by outside forces will knock a kicked foe back a number of yards equal to the difference in their strength and the practitioner's. *[Strong Fist Style • Great Leaf Whirlwind] C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver A combination attack started by the user unleashing a powerful kick to either side of their opponent. They will then place themselves behind the target and unleash a quick flurry of punches before kicking another side and repeating the process. This process can keep going ad infinitum or until the practitioner disengages. *[Strong Fist Style • Thunder Leaf Fist] C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver An attack that is slow to wind up but powerful in execution. The adept tenses every muscle in their shoulders and arms while twisting their core for a powerful strike. For the 1/4 post they spend winding up they're treated as having a -6 speed. However, when the strike is released it comes nearly instantly and at a +6 strength. *[Strong Fist Style • Rising Leaf Wind] C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver Prerequisite: (Instinct+Taijutsu)/2 greater than opponent's taijutsu A disrupting kick that can be launched from nearly any position. This kick is delivered quickly and at 3/4 strength but is aimed at any possible opening and extremely difficult to defend against, quickening the tempo the practitioner is keeping. *[Strong Fist Style • Skyward Strike] C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver An often difficult attack to accomplish but good for setting up a string of further attacks. The user will sweep low, attempting to kick their target's feet from beneath them. Before they fall, a second kick will attempt to launch them airborne a number of meters equal to the difference in the practitioner's strength from their target. |
B-Rank | |
---|---|
*[Strong Fist Style • Leaf's Flashing Might] B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver Requiring a full post of charge time the user tenses their entire body in preparation, becoming immobile. During this time they will look for their direct path and position themselves with their elbow pointed forward. At the end of the post they will release all of this pent up energy with extreme force, leaping nearly instantaneously a number of yards equal to their strength. If their strength is high enough this can punch through obstacles on their path and create extreme damage to opponents who are hit by it. Often used as an opening attack and cannot be done more than twice per thread. *[Strong Fist Style • Herculean Leaf Whirlwind] B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver A progression from previous variants, this attack focuses on multi-opponent fights but utilizes the same principles. By employing superior speed the user will dance between targets to create openings and strike as before. However, rather than unloading on a single target they will move to a new opponent and do the same to them in the time it takes the first to recover. They can keep this process up as long as they are allowed. |
A-Rank | |
---|---|
*[Strong Fist Style • Violence: Vajra Leaf Whirlwind] A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver An attack meant to be used against multiple targets. By tensing every single muscle in the body the user can release a sweeping kick that disrupts the air around their leg. As the kick is unleashed it creates a wave of compressed air that moves outwards from them at a speed equal to their strength in a wide cone-like line. This line travels for 1/2 the user's strength in yards and grows just as wide at the end. It carries with it the user's full power for the first half of it's travel, diminishing to half strength for the second half. *[Strong Fist Style • Tornado Strike] A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver By priming their core and legs the user will crouch down and come up with an extremely powerful uppercut made tight and close. This uppercut causes a miniature vortex to form in the area, sucking anything within (strength/5) feet to be sucked back towards the strike at half strength for further attacks. |
S-Rank | |
---|---|
*[Strong Fist Style • Great Wind Strike] S-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver The user focuses their power for a full post and releases it in a single powerful strike. Doing so sends a compressed air wave outward in a straight line that strikes for their full force and moves at their strength in speed. This air wave steadily grows in size reaching a total width of their strength in yards at the very end of its travel. Unlike previous strikes similar to this, this air wave does not lose power until it dissipates at the end, striking with the user's full strength. *[Strong Fist Style • Tornado Kick] S-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver By raising their straightened leg forward, bringing in their arms and spinning rapidly like a top the user creates a vortex of air around themselves. This vortex starts immediately around them and grows in size at the rate of 10 yards per post until it reaches their full strength in a radius around themselves. Anything caught in this vortex that doesn't have a means of planting themselves against winds of the user's strength will be swept into the air and struck with debris from all angles. This kick can last as long as the user has stamina to keep it going or until disrupted. *[Strong Fist Style • Great Vacuum] S-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver The user can unleash a strike with so much speed as to create a vacuum in the air around their limbs. This vacuum creates a suction large enough to pull everything in a radius equal to their [(speed+strength)/2]/5 in yards at their full strength. This suction is nearly instantaneous and can cause significant damage if living creatures are caught in the area, collapsing their lungs if their (strength+stamina)/2 isn't higher than the adept's (speed+strength)/2. |

History
Historical AccountsShow
Few people can truthfully call themselves a shinobi of one of the five great villages and have a childhood of the nomad. Itsuki is one of those people. His father was Uchiha Kazuki, the younger brother of the clan leader and Kazuo’s closest aide. On his birth day, the clan gathered in their ancient ceremony to burn items to help guide the newborn’s destiny. First, Itsuki’s father stepped forward with a small, wooden statue of a Koi fish, hoping his son would never falter or waver in his goals and see everything through to the end. Next, his uncle stepped forward and placed an acorn into the flames, wishing his nephew good luck in his life. Finally his mother was helped to the fire from her seat, holding her son in her arms and placed a single crane origami within the fire, whispering her wish that her first son would live a long life and fortune would favor him.
Itsuki’s childhood was typical for an Uchiha, his father brought Itsuki to the meetings that Kazuo and Kazuki would have to decide where the clan would move. Itsuki was attentive and well behaved almost from birth, he would quietly watch his father and uncle decide the fate of the clan, and as he grew older Itsuki began to train under his father. His training was the first time that Itsuki rebelled against his father. Itsuki, in his youthful impatience, found the Uchiha style to be too reactionary, favoring a more offensive style. His father tried to break Itsuki of this desire, and the man was not kind, refusal or disobedience led to Itsuki not eating for days at a time, yet the boy’s desire and rebellion did not waver. The boy would attend his father, but, at night, would sneak through the clan’s camp to his true mentor.
Uchiha Kenshin was an atypical Uchiha, but well respected. He was much more nomadic than even the clan, often times going off alone for months at a time, and he was much more worldly than many of the other Uchiha. It was under Kenshin that Itsuki began to train and learn a style of Taijutsu that better fit his outlook. For years this continued, whether Itsuki’s father knew of Itsuki’s nightly training or not remained a mystery to Itsuki. His father never mentioned it until one day when Kazuki told Itsuki that Kenshin had passed away serving the clan. Itsuki grew angry at the loss of his sensei, and lashed out at his father. With tears of grief and rage streaming from his eyes, they shifted to red, and a tomoe appeared in each eye, and Itsuki attacked his father. Weaving from punch to kick, Itsuki was blocked and countered by his father at every advance, but, with his new eyes, Itsuki did not fall for any counter. Kazuki kept this up with Itsuki until the boy wore himself out, and caught his son in his arms as Itsuki sobbed into his father’s chest.
After that, the clan began its raids upon the Rock Country’s villages, and Itsuki attended. His swift and powerful fists let the clan gain many necessary supplies in the tough times, but no banditry goes unnoticed. When they first met with an Iwagakure shinobi, both Itsuki and his cousin, Eiji, were able to fight off the trained shinobi, but both knew that any retaliation of those men would wreak havoc upon the clan. Nights on watch, the two cousins would discuss what they could do to protect the clan. Itsuki always argued that the clan should seek to join the village, end their nomadic ways and become shinobi just like the men and women they had fought. Eiji always argued with his cousin, standing by the tradition of the clan being nomadic and free.
The night the clan’s fate was forever altered came when the two cousins were on watch. Neither had seen a thing before tents caught ablaze, and they both looked to each other in disbelief for only a moment before rushing off in separate directions. Itsuki rushed to his family’s tent, finding it ablaze. Without a single concern for his safety, Itsuki rushed inside to find his mother inside. Covered in flames, Itsuki’s mother was dying painfully, and Itsuki rushed to his mother, trying to save her but failing. Blinking away the tears, Itsuki opened his eyes, the red Sharingan glinting in the firelight as two tomoe appeared in each eye and he whispered a quick prayer for his mother before rushing out of the burning tent.
Rushing out of the tent, Itsuki quickly saw an Iwagakure shinobi and, in his rage, Itsuki charged the shinobi, tossing a kunai by the shinobi’s head before leaping and kicking the shinobi in the head. Itsuki heard the crunch of bones breaking, but was not about to leave things to chance and drew another kunai, gripping the unconscious shinobi by the hair and slicing his throat. Bellowing in anger, a smile grew across the young Uchiha’s face as he rushed further into the camp, searching for any shinobi he could find, mercilessly and gleefully fighting and killing two more before he was caught by a fireball jutsu that burned his right arm, melting his clothes to his skin.
Itsuki came to tied up in the center of the camp surrounded by the surviving Uchiha and the Iwagakure shinobi, and he heard the ultimatum that they were given. His mother’s burning body seared into his mind, Itsuki argued against it, saying they should fight these murderers until their last breath, at least he started to, then his father stepped forward to offer himself as the sacrifice. In one night, Itsuki watched both of his parents die, and part of him died as well. Never again would he be weak, never again would he fail to save those he loved, and never would he trust the Iwagakure shinobi.
Itsuki fell into the clan’s decision to join Iwagakure, and he was brought to the Hidden Village along with everyone else. His arm was treated, horribly scarred and most feeling lost, but he could still use it. Wrapping it in bandages forevermore, Itsuki was shuffled into a rehabilitation and indoctrination course along with his cousin Eiji. For two years the two cousins were “gently persuaded” to obey and serve the Iwagakure no Sato and the Tsuchikage. While Eiji could no longer speak, the two cousins were inseparable in their course. Both trained themselves, and while Eiji seemed to wholly become a loyal member of Iwagakure, Itsuki only seemed to go with the motions. He swore his allegiance, but in his heart he still harbored distrust to the Iwagakure shinobi for his parents’ deaths.
After the indoctrination course, Eiji went to become a Jounin for the village; for Eiji was gifted in both Taijutsu and had quickly learned Ninjutsu and was quite adept. Itsuki however was not as adept at his cousin in Ninjutsu, nor was he able to use the fire jutsu that did come to him without suffering flashbacks and episodes of fear and rage. However, on the day of their graduation from their course, being labelled only a Genin, Itsuki rebelled again, just as he had with his father as a child. He stood tall and proud to the Iwagakure Jounin and declared for a reclassification if he could best the man in a fight. The Jounin was no other than the leader of the raid on his clan two years ago, and just as he was thoughtful then, he was now. The Jounin agreed, and two readied themselves. The fight was short, the Jounin used his earth jutsu to try and trap Itsuki and limit his movement, but with only a single, one inch punch, Itsuki broke the Jounin’s jaw and the Jounin called the fight.
The Jounin admitted his error, and the Kage, who watched the fight, congratulated Itsuki, granting the Uchiha the rank of Jounin just like his cousin. The years after that have been swift for Itsuki. While he does not keep to himself, he does not allow himself to get too close. He buries himself in his work as a shinobi, and he has many acquaintances to attend a bar crawl with him, but only the Uchiha, and specifically Eiji are close to him, and only them are the ones Itsuki considers family.
The Red Eyed Beast waits for the time he can free his clan from what he still sees as slavery and find peace for his parents.
