Kesu
General Information Type: Henchman
Gender: Male
Age: 8
Appearance: Kesu has short blonde hair, that hangs over his forehead and obscures his large bright blue eyes. His light skin is unlike most people in his region, but a signatory of his sheltered life. His hands are often blackened being covered in charcoal and graphite from his writing and studies. He wears a button up shirt that his mother made for him, a long sleeved jacket, and shorts. These are all shaped after the time scholars visited her from the distant lands, as she hopes one day they’ll return and she’ll be able to show her son’s intelligence. Kesu is perhaps most distinctly noticeable from the faint glow constantly coming from his body.
Personality: Intelligent, soft spoken, and witty, Kesu is a young boy who has known only his studies his entire life. He is someone who likes to think, and often pauses to think before speaking. He is quiet, but only because he believes in the power of words and never wants to misspeak or say something wrong. He strongly believes in becoming smart and the value of intelligence, if only because that was all he was ever taught. To him, Shio is one of the most interesting beings he has ever seen, and Kesu believes firmly that Shio is who he is destined to follow. Battle Information Rank: D-rank Henchman

Jannah | The Jannah ability grants the user ‘Angelic’ physiology. This does a few things, first the user has a limited form of immortality. While they do not have an ‘elemental body’ so to speak, their body no longer requires biological function, and their heart acts as a core. So long as their heart remains undamaged, they will be functionally immune to biological poisons, cannot bleed out, and can suffer any amount of injury without dying. Iijutsu can be used to heal them, but if not, open wounds will turn to a stone-like surface until they are healed. Additionally, their body always has a very faint glow, making them visible in even the darkest of rooms. Finally, the Jannah ability grants the user unassisted levitation, able to float off the ground outside of combat. Techniques can be used to make this combat capable flight. |

History Kesu was born to a small farming family in the Land of Fountains. They would spend their lives living an unexceptional existence day in and day out. Kesu has a notably small frame, which drove his mother to encourage his father to let him focus on studies. She hoped for the day that the men in robes she saw in her youth would one day return, and she’d be able to offer forward her brilliant son in hopes of giving him a better future. Kesu’s two older brothers farmed, but Kesu spent every day studying with his mother, while she taught him all she knew. They would bargain for books from the other villagers, and she hoped for a bright future for him. Kesu’s...unique physical attributes did not go unnoticed by her, but she kept her lips sealed, and instructed Kesu to do the same. Hoping her husband and other children wouldn’t notice. She knew Kesu was special in her deepest of hearts.
One day a small boy who’s voice was louder than thunder showed up to the small village and seemingly hypnotized the whole village, except Kesu who the boy, Kesu would later learn was named Shio, singled out and instructed him to follow. Kesu looked to his mother, who nodded in approval, and Kesu began his life on the road, following the god of the new world.
