Impact Conversion:and the following jutsuRei has found a way to create a special chakra that stores and transfers impact force. Impact Absorption jutsu come in two types. Shell jutsu are jutsu that create a protective layer in an area and have the ability to absorb impact force when met with force. Release jutsu shape impact force that has been absorbed by Shell jutsu. This force is then released through Kai. Shell jutsu only absorb the impact force behind things that impact them. Fire and lightning would be unhindered, for example. But a impact blow will be cushioned and potentially halted entirely. Impact Shell jutsu will completely bring forces to a halt if the strength of the force is less than half the strength stat of the shell jutsu. Shell jutsu will still dampen the impact of forces greater than half of their strength, essentially causing a -strength debuff on that specific impact to the force in question based on the rank of the shell jutsu. Dampening a force will cause it to be brought to a stop if dampened to be below the threshold. D-Ranked Jutsu cannot dampen blows, only absorb. Shell jutsu store charge based on the strength of what they absorb or dampen. If a force was absorbed entirely, its entire strength is absorbed. If a force was only dampened, only a third of its strength(after debuff) will be stored. Stored force in a shell jutsu is housed in a charge and Shell jutsu may have multiple total charges dependent on their rank. A D-Ranked jutsu may only store a total of 1 charge, for example. There is a post count limit based on the rank of the shell jutsu in question for how long charges may be held. As an example, D-ranks maintain theirs only for up to 3 posts. Receiving a force greater than strength of the Shell jutsu will fully load 1 charge but excess is not carried over to further charges, the jutsu will be rendered incapable of absorbing or dampening any more without being refreshed through. If receiving a force that would exceed the capacity of a charge, the additional force is added to the next charge if the shell jutsu in question is capable of housing more than one charge.
Release jutsu do not have an inherent strength stat associated with them, instead having a strength equal to the amount of force released from a shell jutsu. Release jutsu go into the same pyramid as shell jutsu but have some key differences. Release jutsu may be directional or radial in application or even more complicated if one desires. However, directional and radial release jutsu are incredibly quick to cast as well as quite chakra efficient, being tacked onto to the tail end of their corresponding shell jutsu as merely additional seals. They are incredibly chakra efficient as well, higher ranking jutsu said to be less taxing than other jutsu of their rank and even easy enough to do while moving around. Release jutsu must be performed in conjunction with a Shell jutsu, applying to all Shell jutsu that were cast beforehand that were not linked by a Release Jutsu. Without the utilization of a release jutsu, Shell jutsu cannot be Kai'd to release their force. However, to have a release jutsu that is not simply directional or radial requires much more time and a larger amount of chakra than most jutsu of that rank. D-Ranked release jutsu are incapable of releasing more than one charge at a time, the amount of charges that can be released at once goes up by 1 per rank. Complicated release jutsu cannot release more than 1 charge until at least B rank. Utilizing a release jutsu will cause a Shell jutsu to become inert afterwards unless it still has remaining charges within it.

Rei will form a set of one-handed seals with her left hand, her right hand holding a weapon or object. A layer of thin purple chakra will coat the shield on her left arm, forming and spreading over the shield at a speed of 4. This layer of chakra has a strength of 6 and will be able to absorb impact force and dampen blows for up to 3 posts. Afterwards, it will remain for another 3 posts during which it cannot absorb force or dampen blows and at the end of which it will disappear entirely. It can be refreshed through the recasting of this technique.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Rei will form a set of one-handed seals with her left hand, her right hand holding a weapon or object. A layer of thin purple chakra will coat her torso and arms, spreading out from her hands at a speed of 4. This layer of chakra has a strength of 6 and will be able to absorb impact force and dampen blows for up to 3 posts. Afterwards, it will remain for another 3 posts during which it cannot absorb force or dampen blows and at the end of which it will disappear entirely. It can be refreshed through the recasting of this technique.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
By tacking the necessary seals onto the end of a Impact Shell jutsu, the user will shape the force that becomes stored in a Impact Shell Jutsu. Upon being Kai'd It will travel up to 10 meters away and strike with a strength equal to the released amount and moving at a speed of 5. It encompasses a 3 meter by 3 meter area as it travels in a singular direction.
