[Henchman] Inji Marri

Username: Izanagi
Owner: Takeda Ichiro
Stat Trainings: (0/25)

General Information
Type: Henchman
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Height: 5’2
Weight: 108lbs
Appearance: Marri is a beautiful young woman with a petite and well-toned body, befitting that of a professional dancer. She has a shapely backside and perky C-cup breasts that are sometimes wrapped to make them appear smaller than they actually are. Due to her small stature and youthful face and child-like voice Marri is often mistaken for being closer to 13 years old despite being an adult. Her skin is soft and clear of blemishes, well taken care of and typically a little on the pale side though it is not uncommon for her to develop a light tan. Her hair is moderate length, perhaps slightly on the short side, falling just to the base of her neck. It is distinct in the light purple coloration, seeming to have tints of blue in the right light which is accentuated by her lively sky-blue eyes.

The young woman possesses an array of outfits, placing high priority in her hygiene and physical appearance and keeping her clothes quite clean whenever possible. Typically, she prefers to wear a dress or a skirt and blouse so long as the cut of her clothing allows free range of movement, typically keeping away from anything that would be too tight around the legs. Occasionally she will wear accessories such as a hat, headband or sunglasses depending on the weather. If she must she will wear a jacket or long sleeve shirts though typically she likes her arms and legs to be bare with the exception of wearing tights when she is planning on performing a dance which is quite common given her sporadic and carefree personality.

Personality: Marri is a cheerful and outgoing young woman, she almost always has a smile or at least a pleasant expression. She is playful and sometimes mischievous, loving the pursuit of fun and adventure including drinking and flirting, often taking a liking to both men and women. She loves to dance, sing and perform musical instruments, her specialty being the violin. She is not above using her cuteness and charm to her advantage and can occasionally be manipulative, enjoying teasing and being sought after. Once someone earns her heart however she is extremely loyal and protective.

As a performer Marri genuinely enjoys spreading happiness and healing wherever she goes though she also desires her own story, to branch out from her family and live her own life beyond Waterfall Country, exploring other lands before eventually returning home where she is well known and celebrated by most. Furthermore, she cares greatly about the average citizens in the small towns throughout her homeland and fears the corruption of organized crime that she has often performed for and seen first hand the disregard they have for the common citizen. For this reason, she prefers to perform for the poor, lifting them up and giving them hope even if it means she makes less money and has to sacrifice some of the wealth and status she is accustomed to.

Abilities and Concentrations
Abilities
Tamawaru::
The Kekkei Genkai of the Inji clan is the power to bestow strength onto others through the use of taijutsu thanks to the unique energy source they produce, which is referred to as Glory. These bestowments can range anywhere from increases in physical attributes to allowing for miraculous feats such as flight and wondrous healing. Bestowments are most often performed as part of a musical piece, though other methods are available, including more esoteric methods such as dance. Each bestowment takes as much stamina from the user as an equal rank heavenly taijutsu maneuver, but they do not require heavenly taijutsu in order to perform these feats. Casting times are similar to ninjutsu casting times, except for using [Taijutsu+Stamina]/2 as the calculative stat. The Inji may choose to affect multiple targets within a given area with the number of targets equal to the Inji's [Taijutsu]/10, though they may go beyond this number if they utilize twice the amount of chakra for the technique. It should be noted that all targets of an Inji's jutsu are chosen as opposed to the jutsu effecting anyone within the area of the jutsu. The techniques to bestow powers onto others require equal amounts of taijutsu and stamina in order to be able to perform effectively.

Acrobatics:
The fundamental skill of [Acrobatics] includes the user’s ability to contort their body into unfamiliar positions in order to avoid attacks, as well as the user’s ability to fall safely and perform Ukemi and other feats of gymnastics. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Genjutsu[N/A

Jutsu
BlessingsShow
~Gift of Light
D-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short dance, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment causes its wielder to glow rather brightly in an aura around them with a 1m radius. This light is not blinding, but will provide more light than your average lantern for purposes of illuminating dark areas. This bestowment can last up to the Inji's [taijutsu]/2 in posts.

~Gift of Substitution
D-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short dance, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment causes its wielder to switch places with a nearby object that is at least 2/3rds his/her size, but no bigger than their body. This substitution allows the object to take the force of the attack that was meant for the user, additionally allowing the user to create distance between him/her and the opponent. The object used in this jutsu may not be objects that are imbued with chakra or controlled by it, and they may also only be single, solid objects within a 20 meter radius of the user. This technique may only be used a total of one time per wielder in a single thread.

~Gift of Sight
D-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short dance, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target(s) of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment causes its wielders to gain the ability to see clearly in the dark. Not to be mistaken for nocturnal vision, this allows the wielders to see both in the light and in the dark. This bestowment can last up to the Inji's [taijutsu]/2 in posts.

~Gift of Relief
D-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short dance, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target(s) of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment causes its wielders to become relieved of any pain they might be experiencing. This is not to be mistaken for as healing, and only allows the wielders to be more relaxed and not feel pain. It is important to note that this does not disable nerves; pain is still noticeable, but it doesn't 'hurt'. This bestowment can last up to the Inji's [taijutsu]/2 in posts.

Gift of Free Breathing
D-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short dance, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target(s) of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment causes its wielders to gain a light purple translucent mask over their nose and mouth. This mask will keep out airborne gasses, particles and/or poisons and supply a constant supply of oxygen, allowing the receiver of this bestowment to even breath under water and receive clean oxygen should they otherwise require it. This bestowment can last up to the Inji's [taijutsu]/2 in posts.

~Gift of Gab
C-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short poem, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment allows its wielder to use their own voice as a weapon, causing damage in a cone originating from their mouth with strength and speed equal to the wielders [strength+taijutsu]/2 up to a range equal to the wielders [stamina]. This bestowment can last up to the Inji's [taijutsu]/5 in posts.

~Gift of Slick
C-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short dance, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment grants its wielder a slick coating around their body, causing physical attacks on them to be more inclined to slip instead of hitting them directly. Attacks of a lower than the wielders [Stamina+Strength/2] will cause incoming physical attacks to slip off the wielder's body without much harm to the user. Attacks greater or equal to the same number will break the slick coating, forcing it to dissipate. This bestowment can last up to the Inji's [taijutsu]/5 in posts.

~Gift of Step
C-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short dance, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment enhances the wielder's legs, allowing them to jump midair. This should not be mistaken for flight, and the distance and speed is restricted to the physical capacity of the wielder, but the wielder can jump up to 2 additional times midair. This bestowment can last up to the Inji's [taijutsu]/5 in posts.

~Gift of Arms
C-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short poem, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment allows its wielder to gain a 'charge of arms', expressed as a small ball of light in the wielder's hand. Upon crushing the ball of light with their hand, a piece of equipment is formed in any shape and form the user desires, so long as the size is within the constraints of 2'2'2'. The equipment has durability equal to the wielders stamina, but it is important to note that this will only form one of anything. This equipment can last up to the Inji's [taijutsu]/5 in posts.

~Gift of Flight
B-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short song, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment allows its wielder to lift off the ground and fly freely, following all normal flight rules. Those who are not familiar with this bestowment will find themselves incredibly clumsy, enacting a -5 to taijutsu, but those bestowed upon are able to fly up to their [taijutsu] in speed (but no faster than their natural speed). This bestowment can last up to the Inji members [taijutsu]/5 in posts.

~Gift of Size
B-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short song, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment grants its wielder a 10x increase of size and weight. This bestowment can last up to the Inji members [taijutsu]/5 in posts.

~Gift of Cloak
B-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a short song, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment allows its wielder to become invisible to the naked eye. This invisibility is broken if the wielder moves at a speed greater than 4/5 their speed stat, rounded up. This bestowment can last up to the Inji members [taijutsu]/5 in posts.

~Gift of Life
A-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a song, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment allows its wielder to act as though they had a regenerationability. Rather than keying off of the wielders control as per normal, it will function off of the lower of either their [taijutsu] or [stamina] stats to determine speed of regeneration. This bestowment can last up to the Inji members [taijutsu]/5 in posts.

~Gift of Reflection
A-rank Taijutsu Bestowment
By performing a song, the Inji clan member is able to channel their Glory into a target of their choice up to their [stamina] meters away. This bestowment allows its wielder to gain a 1m x .5m kite shield in their hands. This shield grants the ability to reflect ninjutsu in strength up to a maximum of 4/5 the wielders [Stamina] in the direction that it came from, at full strength. After reflecting a jutsu, this shield crumbles into dust. This bestowment can last up to the Inji members [taijutsu]/5 in posts.
CapoeiraShow
Capoeira:
This style of martial arts was developed by slaves as a form of dance as a means of developing self-defense ability without drawing attention to their training. It has however also been adapted by performers as an acrobatic and entertaining display while still retaining some combat application. The style revolves around a low, constantly moving stance and the ability to evade quickly and attack from unpredictable angles, primarily using the legs for attack while engaging the arms for additional mobility. Requires: [Acrobatics]
Flow
D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Entering into a low stance the user will move constantly, often in a rocking sort of fashion alternating between legs as well as engaging in cartwheels and handstands. Often moving to music the user is also capable of developing their own rhythm, focusing on being able to go with the flow of combat and react quickly and evasively to avoid taking direct damage.

Flip Kick
D-Rank Taijutsu Manuever
Used defensively the user will lash out a flowing kick as the backflip away from their opponent. From there the user can continue to cartwheel away or even hod themselves upright in a handstand and roll back toward the opponent for a follow up kick in an axe-kick fashion, coming down on the opponent from above.

Sweep Kick
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
This technique can be employed from a wide array of positions, even when seemingly unstable. Rotating their body the user will aim to trip an opponent up, kicking their legs out from under them as the user spins low, attacking in a forward or backward motion. The unpredictability of this technique lies in the fact that it can be utilized when seemingly falling, rolling or even leaping into the air before dropping and spinning suddenly to deliver the sweeping kick making it extremely difficult to counter attack against or predict coming.

History Growing up in a relatively large and closely-knit family of roughly fifty blood relatives Marri was always used to being around her siblings and cousins. The Inji family circus would typically travel all together though often separate family units or certain performers would leave on their own for schedules shows though at all times there were at least 20 performers in the main circus for their large travelling events. The young girl grew up, always moving from one place to the next, immersed in the liveliness and constant exposure to impressive talents of her family. Developing skills in dance, song and instrument came as second nature to Marri, it was just a way of life though as she got older, about 6 or so it became more necessary to practice and hone her skills. The girl practiced dance and singing mostly, taking lessons from some of her older cousins as well as her parents and grandparents.

As Marri came upon her teenage years she opted to take up some instrumental practice on the side, favoring a violin to accentuate some of her singing talents, always upbeat and chipper she loved lively music and song, something people could drink or dance along to, though she also loved songs that told of stories of adventure. Though she was well used to travelling, primarily across Waterfall Country, they did occasionally venture out into Grass Country. Performing in private venues and small hamlets Marri became familiar with the disparity in living conditions across the country and especially the criminal elements. She learned when to speak and when she shouldn’t, developing a healthy fear of the various crime bosses throughout Waterfall Country. On a few occasions members of her family had even gone missing, captured as slaves quite likely by some of the same clients they served. She realized that being in the entertainment profession was dangerous and despite the fame and wealth they often were bound to the will of those who had the manpower and status to always get what they wanted in the end.

Unfortunately, though Marri wished to venture out onto her own she didn’t possess the means to keep herself safe. Instead she would cling to the safety of numbers, travelling with her family circus for more years to come. During this time, she learned how to perform the blessings her family was famous for, magical effects harnessed through song and dance. They were highly guarded secrets, coveted skills that as far as she was aware nobody else in the world could achieve. The teenager took to the skills quite quickly, showing a natural proficiency that continued to grow as her fame and status among her family likewise ascended. By the time she was 16 Marri had mastered all of her family’s special techniques and after participating in their largest event of the year she told her parents of her intent to adventure on her own for an undisclosed amount of time. They were of course reluctant and attempted to keep her with them though after a few weeks of arguments Marri convinced them that she wouldn’t take no for an answer and set off.

Travelling for months, performing shows throughout Fire Country the young woman eventually made her way east to Tea Country where she stayed for a short time before seeking to sail off to explore other lands. It was here she met Takeda Ichiro, a fellow native of Waterfall Country and first mate of a moderate sized brig. Initially she paid for passage on the ship though after a few days of travelling she found herself intrigued by the crew, deciding to stay on and adventure with the interesting group of people whom seemed to have secret talents of their own.

Okay, so not sure how I feel about this ability, so I’m gonna address that later.

Instead, I’m gonna specify that Capoiera would be both CQC and Acrobatics. It involves using the body to launch physical strikes against the opponent with its techniques.

Also, you’re kinda short on techniques. Did you spend points on additional stats?
