Got change jutsus due to Iaido revamp

Post by Mre-face » Sun Dec 22, 2019 4:47 pm

Application: Enzaragi

Change:
Old jutsus being replacedShow
D-Rank*Iaido • Swift Draw
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 5 Taijutsu, 4 Speed
With the most widely recognized attack of Iaido style, the user draws their katana at a very quick speed, making a powerful slash in tangent with the draw. This technique is dependent on the user's overall reaction speed as it is usually only used when an opening presents itself or when the user needs to draw their sword quickly.

*Iaido • Quick Sheath
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: 4 Speed
Through hours of practice the user has learned to quickly sheath their weapon with one hand. This allows the user sheath their weapon as quickly as possible, even if their other hand is not on the sheath.

*Iaido • Block
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 4 Speed
A technique developed out of need to protect himself from other weapon users, Block is simple in its use, but highly effective when used right. By partially drawing their sword, the user of this technique is able to use the back of their blade to block incoming weapon attacks should they time it correctly. The user must be careful when using this technique, should the attacker have a high enough strength, this technique could very well shatter the user's weapon.

*Iaido • Hilt Strike
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 8 Speed
A simple technique, Hilt Strike is designed for moments when the target is to close for the user to fully draw their sword. Gripping their hilt in a downward dagger position, the user will quickly draw their blade out as far as they can, and use the butt of the hilt to strike their target in an attempt to push them back and set them up for their other attacks.
C-Rank
*Iaido • Beheading Draw
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Speed
The user draws their katana with one hand and slams their palm into the back of their blade to increase the force behind the swing made in any direction. This works with blunted side of a sword, but it can also draw out their strength and the blade's cutting power in full to quickly slash apart obstacles. Re-sheathing after this technique may take a bit longer; the placement of the hands following this technique make it difficult to resheath properly.

*Iaido • Snap Draw
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Taijutsu, 15 Speed
With a honed body capable of producing torque within the user's muscles, the user is capable of achieving a 'Blurred Sword' effect in an attack. The user draws their sword with such speed and power, the strike itself goes undetected by opponents lacking Taijutsu greater than a third of the user's Taijutsu stat. While essentially similar to the basic Iaido technique this one is literally beyond the normal capability of the user and as such, it can only be used a number of times per thread equal to the user's stamina and taijutsu divided by 2.

*Iaido • Clash Draw
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Speed, 10 Instinct
In this technique, the user assumes a firm stance and then draws their weapon in an upward arc. This sort of draw makes it easy to bat away projectiles moving at a Speed equal to or lower than the user's Speed and Instinct stats. This also enables the user to cut through advancing techniques or to clash with an opponent's weapon. This movement, however, may leave the user without the ability to sheath his weapon for some time, limiting the effectiveness of their techniques until they can.

Iaido • Twin X slash
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Two katana or other blades.
In this technique Enzaragi draws two swords at the same time slashing in the same direction at the same time in a diagonal X motion. Then when reaching the end of the slash he does the same thing in reverse.

Iaido • Twin thrust
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite:Two katana or other blades
In this technique the user draws their two swords at the same time but instead of slashing they draw out their sword and thrust their sword at the same time at a target. Aiming to mix up and confuse their opponent/s.
B-Rank
*Iaido • Iai Beheading Draw
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite:Iaido • Beheading Draw, 25 Speed
With a Variation of the Beheading Draw technique, the user forces a very quick snap of tension and torque through their arm as they draw their sword sending it vertically or across with great speed. With its speed, the strike takes on a blur, many times not even appearing to be drawn from its sheath. Opponents will not see the slash unless they have a Taijutsu or Speed equal to or greater than half of the user's Taijutsu stat. This slash is also incredibly powerful with its speed, able to slice through stone in most cases with enough power.

*Iaido • Breakneck Sheath
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 25 Speed
Through incredible amounts of practice the user of this technique has gained such a vast knowledge of Iaido and their sheath in particular that they have perfected the art of sheathing their sword. As such, they can sheath their weapon single handed if need be, and can do so with the same blinding speed that they would deliver a slash with, allowing them to chain together attacks with even more speed than before.

*Iaido • Reverse Beheading Draw
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: *Iaido • Beheading Draw, 25 Speed
By building tension in two places in their body, the user unleashes a spin and then draws their katana in a swift motion without pause until returning to face their original direction, sword sheathing in the process. The attack has incredible destructive power, though lacks the visual blur in speed. The attack is still fast enough, however, to disorient opponents greatly.
A-Rank
Iaido • Dual Amputation Combination
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 30 Speed, 25 Strength
Sheathing and unsheathing His swords with incredible speed and accuracy, the user aims a large number of slashes at the limbs of their opponent. These slashes are made with blinding speed and can be feinted to draw an enemy's guard to a specific area to open up other areas, but they are primarily aimed at the target's limbs in an attempt to cleanly detach the limb from the body. Continuing this onslaught for prolonged periods of time is very taxing and will drain much of the user's physical stamina if used too much. The use of two swords makes it faster than the normal amputation combination.

Iaido • Dual Execution Draw
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 30 speed, 30 Taijutsu Iaido • Twin X slash
His own spin on the execution draw. In a single moment, the user of this technique delivers a series of six blindingly fast slashes, all aimed at specific vital locations. First Enzaragi unsheaths his swords at same time in Diagonal motion forming an X aimed to bisect their chest, then using the same momentum for the next five slashes, Switching between his shortswords to bring the blades across the stomach, throat, thighs and chest before finishing the assault with a twin slashes aimed to bisect the pelvic cradle before immediately resheathing the blades in the same motion as the final slash. By switching between his blades and maintaining momentum throughout the combination attack, each slash is made as if the blades had just been unsheathed, and the entire attack occurs in less than a second. If even one of these slashes land solidly it could easily prove to be fatal.

*Iaido • Backlash Draw
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 30 speed, 30 strength, *[Iaido • Reverse Beheading Draw[/i]
Taking the concept of the Reverse Beheading Draw a step further, the user builds a large amount of torque within their arm and hip before yanking the sword from their sheath with such force that it creates a destructive wave of force that follows behind the path of the blade. The user slashes in a 360 degree rotation with incredible, blurring speed, sheathing the blade as soon as the rotation is complete. After the sword has been sheathed, the wave of force follows the same path that the initial slash took, delivering a second slash with equal power to the first. This make the technique perfect for dealing with opponents on all sides.

D-Rank*[Iaido • Ancestral Focus]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The hallmark of Iaido is its practitioner's ability to launch an attack even when their swords are sheathed. This Discipline represents the practitioner's capacity to consistently execute a sword draw and slash all in one movement by gripping the edge of the scabbard and pulling the scabbard slightly forward before drawing the sword. This Discipline enables the practitioner to immediately draw their sword and attack at the start of combat.

*[Iaido • Weapon Mastery]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Since Iaido is a style that prioritizes speed over brute strength, wise usage of the blade is paramount to the practitioner's success in the style. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge of their weapon's strengths and weaknesses in combat, allowing them to use the weapon more efficiently both inside and outside of its use in Iaido techniques and avoid unnecessarily presenting their weapon's blind spots to the opponent.

**[Iaido • One with the Sheath]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): 8 Speed, 8 Instinct.
The practitioner has learned how to more quickly and efficiently sheath his blades. The practitioner can now seamlessly transition from drawing their blade to slash to sheathing their blade, allowing the practitioner to sheath their sword in half the time, up to a maximum speed equal to their Speed score, for the more rapid execution of Iaido techniques.

*[Iaido • Last Breath]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The most iconic (and most basic) strike of Iaido, the practitioner quickly draws and cuts with their blade in a wide arc in one fluid motion. This simultaneous draw and attack straight from the scabbard makes Iaido well-suited for an initial surprise attack and for taking advantage of openings presented by the opponent.
C-Rank
*[Iaido • Shinigami Draw]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Losing the use of one's hand or arm in a fight can be a death sentence, but Iaido has found a simple, elegant response to this desperate situation. Using their free hand, the practitioner momentarily braces the edge of their sword against the inside of the scabbard before drawing. While it does not confer the instant acceleration benefit of its parent technique, this Discipline does allow the practitioner to use Iaido techniques at their normal speed even with only one hand.

*[Iaido • One with the Sword]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Iaido • One with the Sheath].
The practitioner has learned how to more quickly and efficiently sheath his blades even without the use of both hands. The practitioner can now sheath the blade just as quickly with one hand as could be done with two hands, and so long as the scabbard remains on their person, the practitioner will always have an exact knowledge of the position of their scabbard.

*[Iaido • Ancestral Visage]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): 15 Instinct.
Using Iaido to its fullest requires a keen eye and quick reactions, enabling its users to target weaknesses and openings that their opponents present almost instantaneously. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to attack openings that present themselves, the practitioner now able to reflexively attack an opening in almost the same moment that it is observed. This Discipline reduces the gap of time between a practitioner recognizing a potential opening for attack and launching the attack to exploit said opening to almost nil.

*[Iaido • Shinigami’s Might]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A technique used to capitalize on the superior speed of Iaido, the practitioner momentarily braces the edge of their sword against the inside of the scabbard, holding the edge of the scabbard firmly with their other hand. The practitioner then drives that force forward, which results in a quick slash of the blade that immediately accelerates to the practitioner's top Speed. Though powerful, this move is not without risk, as sheathing the blade may take longer than normal after using it due to the commitment this technique requires.

*[Iaido • Death’s Passage]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
This technique is particularly useful against opponents with a strong defense or some sort of natural armor. The practitioner draws their sword from its scabbard and slashes the opponent, which is followed by an immediate second slash in the exact opposite direction before the blade is immediately sheathed. The practitioner can choose to target the same spot to make a deeper cut or to target a different area instead. They may also choose to attack a second target with this technique instead.
B-Rank
*[Iaido • One with the Spirit]
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Iaido • One with the Sheath], *[Iaido • One with the Sword].
Through incredible amounts of practice, the practitioner of Iaido has learned his weapon and its housing inside and out. The user of this weapon can now reflexively sheath their sword in its scabbard almost instantaneously by instinct with either one hand or both hands without even looking. This facilitates further use of other Iaido techniques.

*[Iaido • Spectral Flight]
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): 15 Strength, 25 Speed, 25 Instinct, *[Iaido • Ancestral Visage].
In order for Iaido to stand toe to toe with a variety of high-level opponents, refining fundamentals to a new height is necessary. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to more quickly accelerate to max movement speed and decelerate to a full stop at a moment's notice. This does not offer protection against attacks that the practitioner does not know is coming.

*[Iaido • Silent Passing]
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Iaido • Death’s Gates].
Unlike most of Iaido's techniques, Silent Passing is not particularly useful in the heat of combat. Instead, it is an attack meant to be executed from a standing position, such as while casually walking towards an opponent. Once in close enough proximity to the opponent, the practitioner draws their sword, strikes the opponent's opening, and sheaths their blade with such speed, it appears to the untrained eye that the practitioner continued to simply walk past their target. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have an average between their Instinct and Speed score, rounded up, higher than the practitioner's Speed. Otherwise, the opponent will not be capable of fully avoiding this attack if they are in range without some sort of passive defense.
A-Rank
*[Iaido • Shinigami’s Gaze]
A-Rank Taijutsu Stance.
Prerequisite(s): 30 Speed, 30 Instinct, *[Iaido • Ancestral Visage].
Taking a deep breath and regulating their breathing, the practitioner assumes a crouched stance, leaning forward slightly as their sword hand hovers over the hilt of their blade, the scabbard's edge firmly gripped with their opposing hand. Forcing external distractions out of the mind such as pain, fatigue, and non-critical environmental distractions, the practitioner directs all of their focus onto a single opponent, dropping themselves into a trance called the Theta state. The Theta state allows the practitioner to react almost instinctively to each action of the opponent. These reactions happen so quickly that a proficient user of this stance can commonly interrupt or counter an opponent's actions with a movement or slash before they even finish it. This stance will constantly drain the practitioner while in use, and it is both ineffective and dangerous to use when fighting multiple opponents. If the average of the opponent's Taijutsu and Speed scores, rounded up, is higher than the average of the practitioner's Instinct and Speed score, rounded up, this technique is rendered useless.

*[Iaido • Phantom Step Mastery]
A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline.
Prerequisite(s): 20 Strength, 30 Speed, 30 Instinct, *[Iaido • Spectral Flight].
Continuing to push the movements of Iaido past normal human understanding, the practitioner has learned how to quickly decelerate and accelerate their movements so quickly and so fluidly that they are able to create momentary afterimages of themselves with movement. These afterimages fade quickly, but properly reading the attack used in conjunction with the afterimage requires the opponent to have an average between their Instinct and Speed score, rounded up, higher than the practitioner's Speed. This can be used in a variety of ways to enhance their attacks. Only one afterimage can be created per post using this Discipline.

*[Iaido • Sword Spirit Draw]
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Overwhelming the opponent with a literal shower of high-speed slashes, the practitioner torques the muscles in their arm to draw their sword and continue to assault the opponent's defenses with a seemingly unending wave of slashes. By torquing the muscles in the arm and twisting the wrist when changing the direction of the slash, each strike of the sword is as fast as if it had been drawn from its scabbard. This technique can be used while moving, and the practitioner can feint strikes within the flurry to throw the opponent off-guard. This technique can be used for up to three posts.

Could you possibly provide coding in either nocode or code tags for the jutsu please? This will lessen the possibility of mistakes for when we copy the jutsu onto the app.

This does not remove 1/2.
