[c][b]Physical Features:[/b] Thin and lean with not much fat to speak of, Umiko is a lithe young 14 year old girl. Two years of hard work on a ship with her older brother have given her a nice tan and well developed lean muscles. After watching Kaisui get a Tattoo,she became obsessed and quickly became covered herself. Now she has even more than he does and is still beggufor more much to his chagrin.
[C][B]Clothing/Accessories:[/b]Her old hat is the only thing she has from her parents and is hidden somewhere on the ship. She takes out occasionally when feeling sentimental. Kaisui had bought her a new one when her old one no longer fit its bright red and flashy and has a colorful feather. Her old clothes have long since been replaced, and are certainly in better condition than Kaisui's, him insisting on protecting her modesty. She wear knee high black boots over top tight white pants. She wears black fingerless gloves to protect her hands from the ropes and keep her hands soft. Her top is actually a buttoned up vest, refusing to wear a proper shirt hoping Kaisui would actually notice her.

[c][b]Personality:[/b] Though Umiko is still distrustful and cautious of strangers, she's also brash, loud, and very outspoken if not rebellious.She is very loyal to Kaisui as he saved her from becoming a slave, and while she knows he'd never ask her to, she'd give her life for him. Coming into her own as a young woman she's developed a crush on Kaisui and is very possessive of him. Known to throw temper tantrums from bouts of jealousy or when she's feeling ignored, sheybeen known to get the crew in trouble a fee times. She has also grown rather attached to her new crew mate Ichiro, having been born in the same country and spent a year sailing together.[/table]

From living as a pickpocket Umiko has learned how to blend in to her surroundings, whether it be a crowd of people or alone making her harder to spot utilizing her acting skills to make herself less eye catching.

Constant paranoia that someone is watching Umiko is hyper alert for anyone that may be watching her or her group. When traveling she can spot anyone that is watching her or her group if they are not actively concealing it.

Umiko will bump into a target, slyly stealing the target's wallet or a small weapon in the process. She’ll back up and apologize to whomever she bumped into feigning innocence. Usually successful unless the target is trained to detect slight of hand tricks or seeing through deceptions.

Umiko will run by her mark and cut the straps of the purse or bag with a kunai and grab the bag. Getting the goods is easy getting away, now that’s questionable.

Feigning innocence Umiko falls to the ground and accuses either her mark she just stole from or a stranger of being a pervert trying to grope her. Depending on the crowd this can have mixed results.[/spoiler][/spoiler][/spoiler]

[center][b][big]History[/big][/b][/center]
Umiko was raised by her mother until her mother died when she was 3. Having no other family to turn to Umiko was taken in by the other orphans in the village. The orphans were a small guild of thieves stealing what they needed to survive. They fed and raised her, the oldest one amongst them was a young man around the age of 16. He looked after them all. When Umiko was 5 they started teaching her how to steal, and how to blend in to her surroundings.
It was a good crew and a decent life in the eyes of someone who’d never lived a better one. The younger kids would all rush through snagging wallets and such as they ran. The older kids with more skill would steal from shops and bring in the most food. Everything was going pretty well until one of the younger ones stole from the slave trader.
The slave trader caught the kid and added him to his cart of captives. The eldest swore to save him and left. Though he didn’t know it at the time Umiko had followed him. Not far out of the village he had noticed and they made camp together. It wasn’t long till they caught up to the slave trader. Sadly things didn’t go as planned. The young man was killed by the slave trader and Umiko was captured.
She was kept in the cart with the other slaves as they slowly made their way to the next village. It was there that she saw the giant. He stood in the crowd as the slave auction had started. He paid for her handing over most of his coin to the slave trader. He looked her dead in the eyes as he spoke.
“I’m offering a choice. Either come with me and work for me, you’ll be fed and taken care of so long as you do your part. Or you can go back to being a thief on your own, back to your old life. Either way you’re free. Just don’t try not to get caught again.” Since that day she has been with her new big brother. She didn’t have a last name that she could remember so she took his. She does just about anything he tells her to, and works hard to earn her place.
