"Even the guilty deserve justice."

General Information Age: 38
Gender: Male
Height: 6'0
Weight: 220 lbs
Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Jinsai's black hair is medium length, allowed to droop over both sides of his head or kept slicked back with hair product. His sharp facial features are complimented by a seasoned demeanor, though he typically keeps himself clean shaven as well to compliment his proper appearance. His eyes while the Shōgō-zumi are inactive are a deep, dark shade of blue, like a stormy ocean.
  • Body: Jinsai is tall and wiry, obscuring his nature as a hand to hand fighter. His skin is pale and covered in many scars, but is noticeably devoid of much if any body hair.
  • Notable Features:Jinsai has a notable scar along his face, going across his left eye down to his cheek. And of course, he also has access to the Shōgō-zumi, which changes his eyes considerably when active based on which level he has access to.
Clothing/Accessories: Jinsai dresses himself formally in most scenarios, believing that appearance is an important factor for anyone to consider. His most common outfit consists of a long sleeved white shirt, complete with collar and cuffs, underneath a black vest. He wears black leather gloves and black silk slacks. He even sports a pair of dress shoes, with softened soles to allow for stealthy movements. On occasion he has been known to sport a large overcoat as well, though this isn't as common as the rest of his attire. The only accessory he keeps with him almost all the time is a his Xun - a Globular Flute made of black ceramic with golden cracks running along the entirety of the instrument.
Personality:
  • General: Jinsai, typically, is very calm and reserved. He speaks only when necessary, having lost his penchant for small talk as he has aged, and rarely if ever exhibits outward signs of pleasure or joy. The most anyone could expect of him, typically, is a small smile or wry chuckle. He speaks in a very level tone, with each word carrying intense weight behind it that commands attention and respect. He is a man who has commited his life to Iwagakure, for better or for worse, though he has the demeanor of one who has payed the price for that loyalty threefold. Even those who have no idea of his history can tell that Jinsai is a man who has seen it all; Successes and failures both minor and major. He's seen others lose their life in service to Iwagukure, even held them in his arms as they went, yet he still maintains an eerie stoicism.

But the man has a fire deep down inside of him, a searing flame that rages day in and day out. Few if any have ever seen it unleashed completely, but many have seen the man's tame but harsh reactions. He has tempered his rage time and again, become a master to it, using it as a fuel source that propels him down the path of service. When he has a rare moment of free time that isn't consumed by some career related activity, he can be found playing music on his flute, though he tends to prefer solitude when he has these moments. He also has a taste for fine sake, not so much a drunk as he just enjoys the sensation that comes with inebriation.

Admittedly, Jinsai has a hard time working with partners. He finds that most within Iwa are uncouth barbarians with no interests beyond destroying whatever obstacles stand in their way, without any sense of decorum or forethought. He especially finds this true for the Akari clan, whom he has had several run ins with, and has nothing but disdain for. That said, he is capable of joint operations if it is asked of him, and he rarely if ever questions the intentions of those who pass assignments to him. While Jinsai's loyalty is beyond any sense of doubt, the man clearly has flaws, but such a thing is to be expected with the kind of life he has lead.
  • Combat Mentality: Jinsai skills like most prominently in the Ninjutsu and Taijutsu trees. He has knowledge of unarmed combat, and is an adept user of his signature Sansetsuken, capable of properly fighting multiple enemies simultaneously and achieving proper spacing while doing so with the weapon. As for Ninjutsu, he is most adept at Iwagakure's Kouton style, using metal jutsu for a variety of purposes, including augmenting and strengthening his weapons. And of course, the power of the Shōgō-zumi grants Jinsai a large boon, allowing him to turn his opponent's own power against them in a pinch. Most notably however, Jinsai's mind for strategy and tactics are second to none, a trait that makes him an effective commander and leader.

Equipment: Jinsai uses a Sansetsukon as his primary melee weapon, comprised of three two foot long sections of staff made of steel and held together via thick metal cables. By pressing a button on the middle section of the weapon, Jinsai can cause the cables to reel the two outer sections into the middle section and hold them taut, allowing him to use the weapon as either a single rigid staff or as a free flowing Sansetsukon. The two outer ends of the staff are colored dark red, while the middle section is pitch black. Due to Jinsai's chakra enhancing the strength of the weapon, the durability of this weapon and all subsequent alterations of it are equal to Jinsai's [Control] stat. The entire weapon is kept contained in a small holster that rests horizontally along his lower back, although he does occasionaly use it as a walking stick as well.

Katon:
Katon Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Katon affinity. Katon has a passive ignition effect.
Passive (Ignition)Show
Katon's effect is ignition, which means that all katon jutsu, regardless of effect, start and spread fire from their source. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own.

Additionally, the strength of burns on organic material from katon jutsu is determined by the strength stat of the individual jutsu.
  • 1-14 Strength Requirement: First Degree Burns
  • 15-24 Strength Requirement: Second Degree Burns
  • 25-34 Strength Requirement: Third Degree Burns
  • 35+ Strength Requirement: Fourth Degree Burns
Doton:
Doton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the doton affinity. Doton has a passive enduring effect.
Passive (Enduring)Show
Doton has a passive effect of Endurance, which means that it's power is retained throughout the entirety of the jutsu. All of a single doton jutsu retains the strength of the jutsu, even after the jutsu has been destroyed, and unlike other jutsu, doton does not fade when destroyed. This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. This creates incredibly potent defenses, making doton a popular affinity among defensive fighters.
Kouton Affinity:
Kouton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Kouton, and advanced form of Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Kouton affinity. Kouton has an resisting effect.
Passive (Resisting)Show
Kouton has a resisting effect. This means that Kouton jutsu ignore the effects of other affinities, regardless of their nature. If a Kouton spear was thrown through a water shield, the spear would not be caught by the shield, nor would it be destroyed by Sankaton, or cut by Fuuton. This resisting effect does not apply to active effects by jutsu. This means a fuuton jutsu that cuts with 30 strength would still cut through a 20 strength kouton shield, but it would not be affected by the secondary cutting by Fuuton. This makes Kouton very effective for breaking through and penetrating defenses that opponents expect to protect them. It's hardy nature makes Kouton very popular amoung Doton users.
Elemental Ninjutsu: Advanced Channeling:
This user has superb chakra control, and has learned to perform jutsu by channeling, without the use of hand seals. The user can channel any elemental Ninjutsu that is designed to be channel, and there are no specified parameters in which a jutsu must fall to be channeled by this method.

NinjutsuShow
KoutonShow
Kouton • Duplication
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will channel a small amount of chakra into a throwing weapon, such as a shuriken or kunai, before throwing it towards his target. Then, with a single Kai seal, the weapon in question will morph mid flight, sprouting a single additional throwing weapons of the same type within a few inches of the original and flying with the same speed and strength as the original weapon.

Kouton • Paddle Form
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will channel chakra throughout his body, funneling the chakra into his Sansetsukon. In doing so, he will cause one end of the weapon to flatten and extend out in the form of a 5 meter circular paddle. The extension retains the strength of the weapon, and lasts for 3 posts or until Jinsai wills the weapon to return to normal.

Kouton • Replacement
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will channel chakra throughout his body, funneling the chakra into his hand. This chakra will seep out of his palm and form rigid metal that shapes itself into a replica of his traditional Sansetsukon. The weapon is formed with [control] speed and can withstand [control] strength without breaking.

Kouton • Spear Form
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will channel chakra throughout his body, funneling the chakra into his Sansetsukon. In doing so, he will cause both ends of his weapon to sharpen to pointy tips, enabling him to use the weapon for stabbing. The metallic extension retains the strength of the weapon, but the weapon reverts to normal after 3 posts, or when Jinsai wills the weapon to return to normal.

Kouton • Caltrops
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will channel chakra throughout his body before forcing this chakra into the earth at his feet, letting it stretch out to a range of 10 meters in diameter. Then, this chakra will violently surge upwards, sprouting a field of 3 inch long jagged, barbed metallic spikes with [control] strength that spawn with [control] speed. There is a 1 meter area around Jinsai that is safe from this effect, and Jinsai can dismiss the spikes with a single hand seal. The spikes retain his chakra within them for 4 posts.

Kouton • Barrage
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
By channeling chakra into a throwing weapon in his hands, Jinsai charges the weapon with Kouton chakra before throwing it towards a target. The weapon will then morph and expand into a series of weapons of the same type, filling a 10x10x5 meter area as they fly towards their target.

Kouton • Naginata Form
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will channel chakra throughout his form, funneling the chakra into his Sansetsukon. In doing so, both end of his weapon will sprout 12 inch long Naginata blades, enabling him to perform slashing attacks with the weapon. The extension retains the strength of Jinsai's Sansetsukon, and the extension lasts for 4 posts or until Jinsai wills the weapon to return to normal.

Kouton • Armored Shell
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will gather chakra within himself, forcing this chakra throughout his body and causing his tenketsu to secrete metal that takes the form of thick armored plating. This armor covers his body head to toe, but does not hamper dexterity or the formation of hand seals. It forms with [control] speed and resists blows with [control] strength, lasting for 5 posts or until cancelled.

Kouton • Shrapnel Grenade
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will channel chakra throughout his body, funneling this chakra into one of his hands. This chakra will take the form of a large orb, about 2 meters in diameter, charged with volatile chakra. He can then fire that chakra in a single direction for up to 25 meters within the next three posts, the sphere exploding on physical contact or upon reaching it's maximum distance. The blast affects the surrounding 25 meter area with concussive force equal to Jinsai's [Control], peppering anyone caught within range of the explosion with metallic shrapnel.

Kouton • Extending Staff
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will channel chakra within his body and funnel it into his Sansetsukon. In doing so, the weapon will begin to glow gray with Kouton chakra, granting him the ability to will either end of the weapon to extend in reach by up to 25 meters in any one direction. This extension does not make the weapon weigh any extra, though of course swinging it can be cumbersome regardless of weight. He can will the weapon to extend or retract at a speed equal to his [Control], and the extra metal retains the strength of Jinsai's staff. This jutsu lasts for 4 posts, or until Jinsai wills the jutsu to end.

Kouton • Spike Form
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will channel chakra into his Sansetsukon, flowing chakra into the outer sections. This causes both of the outer sections of his weapon to form 4 inch spikes along the entirety of the sections, allowing him to deliver deadly piercing strikes with each swing of the weapon. This augmentation lasts for 4 posts, or until Jinsai wills the technique to end.

*Kouton • Lock Down
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the required hand seals, the user will kneel down and place their hands on the ground. Then, three 40 meter long chains with 50cm long blades at the end will burst from the ground toward a target at [Control] speed. They will bind the target with [Control] strength and attempt to either stake them into the ground or impale them upon the blades in the end of the chains. The chains will attempt to chase for 3 posts and if caught will remain taut and strong for 3 extra posts.

Kouton • Shield Form
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jinsai will channel chakra throughout his body, funneling the chakra into his Sansetsukon. In doing so, he will cause one end of the staff to extend outwards and spread out into the form of a hemispherical barrier up to 5 meters in diameter. This barrier retains the strength of Jinsai's staff, and lasts for 5 posts or until Jinsai wills the weapon to return to normal.

*Kouton • Heaven's Wheel
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the required hand seals, the user will generate thirteen swords from metal which will spin slowly in a ring around them at waist height for 6 posts. They are able to do two things with these blades: either they can cause 2 blades to fly into their hands at [Control] speed at will, or they can fire one sword in a single direction with [Control] speed and strength for up to 60 meters. Each effect can only be activated once per post.

*Kouton • Triple Rashoumon
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the required hand seals, the user will place their hands on the ground. They will then be able to cause three 10 meter high, 3 meter thick, 6 meter long walls of steel with growling faces etched into the side to burst from the earth at [Control] speed at any place within 60 metres of the user. These walls require [Control] strength to break. After 6 posts they will lose their strength.

*Kouton • Final Judgement
S-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Heaven's Wheel
After performing the correct hand seals, the user will fire one of the Heaven's Wheel blades straight up into the air. The blade will transform into 7 10-meter long swords, all connected by loose lengths of chain. These swords will then fall from the sky at [Control] speed, decimating an 80 meter area of the user's choosing with 7 hits of [Control] strength in close proximity. This technique is capable of levelling an entire battalion at once, leaving behind a huge crater with 7 large swords planted in the ground.
TaijutsuShow
BojutsuShow
Bojutsu:
Bojutsu is a general style focused around the use of Jinsai's Sansetsuken for various offensive, defensive and utility based uses. Jin's own personal brand of Bojutsu focuses not only on the use of his staff, but the various augmentations and forms the weapon can take through the use of Kouton.
Prerequisites: [CQC], [Polearm], [Corded], [Acrobatics] Concentrations
Bojutsu • Thrust
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
One of the simplest and most basic of strikes, Jin will grip his staff with one hand near the center and one hand towards the back end of the staff. He will then aim his staff at an opponent before pushing forward with the back hand, sliding the staff forward in a thrusting strike. This is an incredibly safe and versatile strike, as it can be used from almost any position and in almost any situation with little risk to Jin.

Bojutsu • Vaulting Kick
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A technique meant for closing the gap, Jin will charge forward before jamming one end of his staff into the ground. He will then push off of his staff to gain some forward momentum, launching himself a couple of meters into the air before delivering a flying kick aimed at his opponent. This strike propels Jin forward incredibly quickly, and can also be used to push himself up and over obstacles or enemy attacks. Jin's staff must be rigid in order for this jutsu to be used.

Bojutsu • Twirl
D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
A staple technique of any staff style, Jin is capable of maintaining incredible momentum with his staff by twisting and twirling it in his hands. By rotating his hands, arms and body in various ways, Jin can twirl spin his staff around his body in large circles. Doing this works as a functional defense capable of slapping away blows and mundane projectiles of a lesser strength than his own. This also acts as a powerful offense, delivering sweeping strikes backed by the momentum of the spins. This can be maintained while the weapon is in any form.

Bojutsu • Dirty Bo
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A less than honorable technique, Jin will begin by thrusting his staff at the space between his opponent's feet before shifting it back and forth to knock their feet apart and weaken their balance. After doing so, he will then pull up sharply on his staff, swinging the weapon up into the groin of his opponent. Jin's weapon must be rigid to complete this technique.

Bojutsu • Outrange
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A staple of Bojutsu, Jin is well trained in the effective range of his weapon, and is capable of maintaining proper distance from his opponent to keep them within the range of his staff but outside of the range of their attacks. This training has taught him to backpedal and deliver feints and strikes to prevent rush attempts as well as to advance when necessary, all the while doing his best to stay within the sweet spot where he can strike without being struck.

Bojutsu • Spinning Flourish
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Bojutsu • Twirl
Jin will prepare for this strike using the Twirl technique to build momentum before letting loose large arcing strikes around his entire body, delivering crushing strikes to all opponents within reach of his staff. While simple in practice, the difficulty of this technique lies in performing the attacks without sacrificing defense or breaking stride, enabling Jin to maintain a proper offense against multiple opponents without leaving himself too open to counters. This technique can be used while the weapon is in either form.

Bojutsu • Crushing Assault
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Bojutsu • Twirl
Jin will twirl his staff with increasing speed as he approaches his opponent, leading into a strong sweeping strike aimed at the opponent's side. This strike will flow into another and then another as Jin proceeds into a flurry of crushing blows, following his opponent around the battlefield as he strikes at his opponent multiple times. He can produce a number of strikes equal to half his speed during this assault, which takes an entire post. Any opponent who blocks more than one strike of this flurry will suffer a -3 penalty to their speed for 3 posts, as the force of the strikes jars their body and slows their movements. This jutsu can be performed while jin's weapon is either free flowing or rigid.

Bojutsu • Like Water
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A common tactic against opponents with long wooden weapons is sundering the weapon itself, rendering it useless. In an effort to reduce the success of such tactics, Jin will let his weapon flow with the force of the strike in question to reduce damage to his weapon. He will then maneuver his weapon to flow around the strike, attempting to deliver a counterblow at the opponent recoils from their strike against his weapon. This can be done while the weapon is in any form.

Bojutsu • Rising Sweep
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Should Jin find himself on the ground, he will twist his body around in a spin as he rises to his feet. While doing this maneuver, he will also lash out in a circle with his staff in an attempt to sweep the feet of nearby assailants, at worst granting himself the space to rise to his feet and at best causing them to fall to the ground themselves. This can be performed while the weapon is in either form.

Bojutsu • Offensive Defense
C-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Jin's experience with the Sansetsukon's design has allowed him to developed a stance that allows both offense and defense to be kept in equal supply. He does this by switching his grip entirely, grasping each end of the weapon with one hand and leaving the middle section free flowing. In doing so, his effective range is reduced, but he can protect himself much easier with both the handled sections and the middle section, controlling the weapon in such a way that at least one section is in the path of any attacks aimed at him.

Bojutsu • Tricky Bo
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Bojutsu • Twirl
Jinsai will strike the ground with one end of his weapon hard during a twirl, dragging it in a line. This will fling a cloud of dirt, rock and dust up into his opponent’s eyes as if Jin had thrown it. The use of one end of his weapon in this enables the immediate return of the opposite end for a follow up strike at either a blinded opponent or an opponent that is quite predictably dodging the debris.

Bojutsu • Empty Hand
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Jinsai's skill and control over his weapon has reached one of the highest plateau's, allowing Jinsai to masterfully control his weapon as it spins and twirls around him with only a single hand. This enables him to perform any strike with his weapon one handed that makes sense, without detriment or risk to his well being.

Bojutsu • Berserker Barrage
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Bojutsu • Offensive Defense
Assuming the Offensive Defense stance, Jinsai will watch carefully for an opening to present itself before parrying a blow with the middle section of his weapon. He will then carefully but swiftly maneuver around the weapon or limb before delivering a dual barrage of strikes at the opponent's torso and skull with incredible speed and precision. This barrage ends with two simultaneously strikes against the target's temples capable of shattering the skull with enough force.

Bojutsu • Marriage of Steel and Fist
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Years of training with both his weapon and his limbs has allowed Jinsai to develop a perfect marraige of the two methods of combat. This represents Jinsai's ability to seemlessly transition between unarmed and armed combat, using his feet and any open hands in tandem or even simultaneously with his sansetsukon strikes to create an even more unpredictable style of combat.

Bojutsu • Demon's Fangs
A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Bojutsu • Twirl
Jinsai will twirl his weapon using this technique's prerequisite stance, building intense momentum before deliving a single strike against his opponent, aiming for the torso of his enemy. While this strike carries intense power behind it, the true strength is in the results of a block. Should the opponent intercept or block this maneuver, the force of this strike will push all of the air out of the area around Jinsai and his enemy. This air comes rushing back a moment later, creating a vacuum-like pull with strength equal to 3/4ths of Jinsai's strength. Those unable to resist this vacuum's strength will find themselves pulled forward, leaving them off balance and exposed to the second strike Jinsai delivers aimed for the opponent's skull or torso.
Flames of HateShow
Flames of Hate:
This style comes from the ferocity of the Fukusha as they allow the Flames of Hatred to burn behind their eyes, while they portray a cold stoic outer layer that creates an eerily feel on the battlefield. Their hatred is felt and shown, but it betrays the nature of their calm relaxed movements. This style is usually used to lull opponents in with smooth dodges, and tactical foot placement as they dance around their opponent. Behind the scenes the user is playing a game of battlefield management forcing the opponent to move a way or lull them into placement for their next move. The Fukusha are known for their tactical prowess, and are always thinking 10 steps ahead of their opponent.
Prerequisites: [Close Quarters Combat], and [Perception]
~Flames of Hate • No Loose Ends
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A user who practices this discipline is skilled in seeing where weapons and projectiles are being thrown from to be able to deduce the general direction they are coming from. With this discipline, someone attempting to launch attacks from the shadows will reveal their position as the user traces the projectile back to the opponent in the shadows.

~Flames of Hate • Weaponry Instinct
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A user who practices this discipline is skilled in studying their opponent's hold on weaponry. They'll be able to deduce weak spots in an opponent's grip, and better avoid attacks and prevent their body from instinctively blocking from attacks that would otherwise be dangerous if blocked. This essentially reinforces a user's natural knowledge of weaponry, and the pursuit to disarm an opponent.

~Flames of Hate • Kowalski Analyze
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A user practiced in this discipline is keen on small details. They are able to tell when things have been disturbed, pick up on little patterns, and are able to deduce an opponent's skill set with a bit of observation. This allows the user to pick up on an opponent's style, patterns, and details as long as the opponent does not have a Stealth jutsu of equal or greater rank. The user can also use this jutsu for detecting things wrong in an area, or if things have been moved or disturbed.

~Flames of Hate • Once Twice Thrice
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The user of this discipline can keep up with multiple targets at once. With their eyes working double time, they're able to keep up with [Speed]/4 targets within their vision at once.

~Flames of Hate • Foresight
A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
When a user practices this discipline, they use the skill of reading an opponent to make up for their lack of speed. The user begins to predict their opponent's moves by reading their body language, and moving before the opponent has rolled into their attack to make up for the difference in speed. As long as the user's [Speed] is not 5 or more less than the opponent's [Speed] they'll be able to keep up with the opponent's attacks, if but barely. This is most often used when the user is backed into a corner or facing multiple opponents.

~Flames of Hate • Susano'o's Sight
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Possessing immense battle sense and perception, the user is aware of even the most subtle details around them, to a point where they can even pick up on the slightest tension changes in an opponent’s body allowing him predict their movement before it is complete or even read what someone is writing by the way their pencil moves. At times their eyes seem to move on their own will, rapidly tracking an amount of movements equal to their [Speed]/2.

History
HistoryShow
Since Jinsai first emerged from the womb he had known strife. After all, his birth was the result of his mother's death, due to unforeseen complications with the pregnancy. And so Jin, along with his brother Kiyoshi and his father Mokuri grew up in a home without a mother or wife. Kiyoshi, being 6 years older than Jinsai, felt the brunt of that loss, and there is no doubt that that pain lead him down the road that he took later in life. That sorrow was the moment his brother's Shōgō-zumi first unlocked, a feat considered rare for a child of that age. While typically the awakening of a Shōgō-zumi was seen as a great moment, there was a somber and harsh silence that hung over the ceremony. Yes, Kiyoshi was an incredibly early bloomer, a prodigy by most standards even... Jinsai on the other hand wasn't. While he wasn't necessarily forgotten, it was clear that their father put more stock into the first born son. He got a plate at the dinner table, but it wasn't necessarily as full as his brother's.

Which is why it came as a surprise to everyone when Jinsai pushed to be allowed to train as a defender of the Fukusha clan, the same as his brother. He hadn't done anything of note, hadn't even been training, and yet he made clear time and again that he wouldn't take no for an answer. Attempts to dissuade him, both from direct and extended family, failed. And so with reluctance, the boy was allowed to begin training at the age of 12; his brother was already full fledged warrior, having succeeded in defending the clan from numerous threats. During this time, a few years after the boy's training began, Jinsai's father Mokuri took ill; likely some kind of sickness he picked up while moving through unfamiliar countries on a quest. And as fate seemed to enjoy being hard on Jinsai, their father passed shortly before Jinsai became a full fledged fighter of the clan, prompting the activation of his own Shōgō-zumi at the age of 15. Once more, the ceremony was somber, hardly a celebration at all.

All alone now, what little family Jinsai had left wanted nothing to do with him; his brother avoided all contact with him, couldn't even look Jinsai in the eyes. Through all of this hardship and struggle, the ordinary stoicism the Fukusha were known for began to be replaced by a festering flame, a rage unlike anything anyone had seen from a Fukusha before. And yet somehow, he always managed to keep a lid on it; Jin never showed outbursts of rage, only seething anger here and there, if anything at all. The boy grew to be a man, but through all of his years with the clan he came to realize a disturbing truth about his relationship with the Fukusha; He loved his family, but he hated their ways. This wandering they stuck to, the nomadic life... it wasn't the life Jinsai wanted.

At the age of 18, Jinsai set out for Rock Country without his clan behind him, a loner who sought to protect his family in his own way. They frequented Rock and Pebble country quite a lot, and he knew from interactions with others on their roamings that there was a village of immense size and power in Rock country; Iwagakure. If he could get in good with Iwagakure and show them the power of the Fukusha, perhaps his clan would one day join him there. After all, security and provisions were the two biggest problems for his wandering family, and these villages were known to have both in abundance. Plus, the law and order of such a large body of power could only be a good thing he surmised. No more wondering where they would go next, they could settle down and focus on other things instead. No more uncertainty. With this in mind, he went through the steps necessary to be taken in to Iwa as a potential immigrant, passed all the necessary evaluations, and was allowed to demonstrate his abilities for the village. Seeing incredible potential in the Shogo zumi alongside Jinsai's genuine interests in serving Iwagakure, he was allowed to immigrate and become a citizen of Iwagakure officially.

Though the people weren't quite as thrilled with him, calling him outsider and vagabond. He cared little for those who talked in such a way to him, but in some ways they were right; he looked like a wild child, long unkempt hair and raggedy hand me down clothing. So, after working a few odd jobs alongside his mandatory academy training, he was able to afford a total reinvention of his appearance. Cut and clean hair, fancy but functional clothing; he hardly looked like the same man anymore. And while he spent time going through the academy, the young warrior was successfully indoctrinated; not that it was hard. He already had such an appreciation for the order of things in Iwagakure, it was such a far cry from what his people were. He took to their ways like a fish to water, and was happy to be a part of something so large and secure. It was after this successful re-education, and the successful learning of the ways of chakra manipulation, that the young man was granted the rank of Genin at the age of 20. Now his career as a shinobi could begin.

As he acquainted himself with the life of the shinobi, settling in to a small apartment to start creating his life, he found that he was still wanting... He had many things he had wanted in the past, but what he truly wanted now was his family. At the least, he wanted to know they were okay. Unfortunately, it wasn't long before he got his wish, catching wind of their banditry and their execution of Iwa soldiers. He had been with Iwa long enough to know where this was going to go, but he didn't have anywhere close to the pull necessary to ask for Iwa to go easy on his people... and of course, they had commit murder. Jinsai believed in justice, even when it was his family on the offending side. The murder of his people, while incredibly painful, was only fair. He was however happy to find that the clan leaders came to their conclusions, eventually resulting in the martyrdom of the leader's brother and the official induction of his family into Iwa's protection.

He thought it would be a happy day, being able to reunite with his people again. But of course, their pride blinded them, and he was shunned almost entirely. He was essentially disowned by the clan, considered a traitor to his family... All but his brother. Having lost Jinsai years ago, his brother's disdain for Jin turned to sorrow, as Kiyoshi missed Jin as much as Jin missed him. The two managed to reconnect, and for a time there was happiness in Jinsai's heart again. But as always, fate loved to dangle satisfaction in front of Jinsai only to cruelly rip it away at the worst moment... One day, Kiyoshi simply decided he couldn't be a part of Iwa anymore. He couldn't abide the murder of his clansmen, even when Jinsai tried to help him understand. He disappeared without a trace, fleeing the village to set out on his own, and Jinsai knew well enough by now that one who abandoned Iwa was a criminal, but as long as he had not commit any crimes against Iwa's people he would most likely be allowed to return... if Jinsai got to him first.

He set out as soon as he could, which wasn't easy given that he had to call in favors and prove his loyalty; after all, this was his brother, and there was much doubt regarding Jinsai's intentions. Whether he wanted to bring his brother back or run off with him came up multiple times, but Jinsai eventually won out and proved himself. By the time he had though, another shinobi had taken the liberty of hunting his brother down himself; Akari, Yuuki. The woman, eager to prove herself, also bore a particular disdain for the newcomers to the village. She didn't trust them, and when one took off and run, she took her opportunity to show just how much she hated them... by torturing and eating Kiyoshi.

For a long time, this broke Jinsai. He had followed his brother's trail, but was a day late, having missed the woman entirely. However, what remained of Kiyoshi was enough for Jinsai to know what had happened. After emptying his stomach at the sight, he noticed the fragments of his family's ancestral instrument, a ceramic globular flute... He broke down for hours. Eventually, he found the strength to return to the village, the pieces of the flute in his pouch. He investigated the situation, discovered the culprit of his brother's grisly murder, and went to plead his case to the Akari clan leaders for justice. The Akari were known to be a brutal, gruesome people, but he had hoped to see revulsion or at least sympathy from the leaders in regards to the devouring of his brother. He received neither, and Yuuki received nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

Distraught and with nothing to do, this was the day that Jin's hatred for the Akari began, and it continues to this day, almost 8 years later. Jin's loyalty to Iwa still remains true, despite his clan's hatred hardly if ever subsiding. However, as a Jounin of Iwagakure, he has far more to worry about now than just his family; he has an entire village to concern himself with. And he fights for a day when he can one day earn true justice for his brother, and those like him. He may have been guilty, but even the guilty deserve justice...

Sansetsukon ←- I’m confused as to why this has a durability equal to your control. It isn’t spawned by chakra and there’s nothing in the description to really explain it either. The alterations being that durability makes sense since you’re flowing chakra into it to make the alterations, but the base of the weapon doesn’t make sense.

So before I start here so that I don’t have to mention it for every jutsu, there is still an Elemental Advanced Channeling conc and you need to have it to do any of the kouton channeling.

Kouton • Duplication ←- Considering the archive projectile creation can only create 2 of the projectile, and that’s not even while in flight, this should probably be held to the same standard.

Kouton • Barrage ←- 25x25x25 is far too big. C-Ranks can have a range of 25 meters but it’s a linear distance not cubic. So you can have them all lined up in a straight single file line of 25 meters or in like a 2mx3mx2.5m cube, but not 25x25x25.

Bojutsu • Demon's Fangs ←- This would be Pseudo-Heavenly which based on the rules requires at least 35str or 35spd in order to use. Since you have neither, you’ll have to change this.

Kao should probably give the final okay for the history if she hasn't already.

added chanenling, fixed the two kouton jutsu, and reallocated stats for his A rank psuedo tai.

As for the Sansetsukon, he has a jutsu that allows him to remake the weapon with a strength equal to his control. I figured that allowed me to state in the weapon's description that it had that strength, but I can write in some line about "something something enhanced by his chakra" if you would prefer.
