["I will heal this broken world..."]
General Information Age: 48
Gender: Male
Height: 185CM
Weight: 80KG
Physical Features: Born without any clue to who his father was, Jinn has piercing yellow eyes but is otherwise the spitting image of his mother. His long, brown and unruly hair covers his face and ends slightly before his brow. This fringe is long enough to cover his eyes partially. A once visually appealing man with lots of charisma, following a duel with his former master, Jinn was left disfigured with his skin grey and mottled and sever burn scars all over his body. Jinn posses a commanding stature based mainly on his tall, athletic build. He gives off an image of being a man who is a force to be reckoned with. His left ear has several piercings.
Clothing/Accessories: Ever since his fall and betrayal of the Tianguo monks, Jinn wears a full black body suit of leather and lacquer armor with a helmet at all times- only his eyes visible. A long black cape covers his body, and he appears like a large, scary figure.
His typical attire is a a sleeveless linen long coat with feather trimming and with red stripes down the sides of it. The coat has a hood, though he does not often wear it. Brown leather straps hold the long coat to his frame, and also hold a sheathe for his bokken which is made of petrified wood.
Bandages around his stomach act as a belt of sorts and hold up his navy blue and brown breeches, met by brown leather boots with bronze plates embedded into them. Tianguó prayer beads are occasionally worn around his neck.
Unfortunately, ultimately Jinn possesses deep abandonment issues, unhealthy attachments, and that impulsive nature that makes him easily manipulated- something the current warlord and Junfá of Tiger country used to get Jinn to betray his own order and kill most of it. Now, Jinn is ruled by an never ending rage from his failures- but a rage he believes will allow him to bring peace and order to the Southern Countries underneath the Junfá.
The masters of the Tianguo order were wrong: it is only through power that the peace, justice, and order Jinn craves can ever be achieved.

- Petrified Wood Booken (Worn in leather sheathe on back. Hilt 20cm, blade 46cm)
- Chi Blade
The masters of the Tianguo order have utilized Chi blades for over a millennia. As a young acolyte of the order Jinn constructed his blade using pieces of an ancient relic found in a temple. While the general term for this type of weapon is chi-blade, it is worth noting Jinn's weapon more closely resembles a foil with a curved hilt. The hilt crafted of steel, tamahagane, and leather with a solid gold hilt that guards the hand protruding from the top of the hilt. The hilt is roughly 20CM long, but no blade is visible. Inside the handle a special "focusing crystal" exists- a relic all Tianguo must find on a journey deep into the caves beneath the lands. This crystal focuses the chi of the wielder- similar to Ki of other cultures, and exerts a pure blade of energy roughly 2.5cm in diameter and 70cm long. The pure energy is concentrated enough that it causes anything it touches to effectively burn, obliterating anything it touches with 50 strength like a hot knife through butter. Jinn's tainted Chi has left this blade of energy a blood red color.

Abilities and Concentrations

It Binds All Things | A power older than Chakra, all living things have are surrounded by a symbiotic parasyte refered to by the Tianguo as Chi, however one's sensitivity to Chi or ability to control the Chi varies greatly. Jinn is not only sensitive to Chi but since birth has had an exceptionally high amount of Chi surrounding him to a point where his essence and that of his Chi is indiscernible. The symbiotic parasyte feeds off his life force to the point where they are one in the same, meaning effectively, his the Chi are extension of his own being. This means that Jinn's senses are expanded through his connection with the Chi giving him a "pseudo-sense" of any area which the Chi swarm inhabits. This is a "Pseudo-sense" in the fact that rather than Jinn feeling, seeing, smelling, hearing or physically having the sensations his swarm feels, he instead gets the "summarized details" of what is going through mental imagery. Through greater focus and closing his eyes he can "stream" this imagery providing a real-time view of all around him that his Chi touches. |
Shatterpoint | Sensory input Jinn receives is also shared to the Chi through his extremely powerful connection with them. The massive swarm acts as a hive mind computer and is able to process this input for chakra and kinetic energy. In turn, Jinn is capable of seeing color-coded "tracers" that follow jutsu or movements. The more powerful the energy, the deeper the hue. For example, if a lightning bolt is fired they will see a yellow line that follows from the origin of the bolt to the point of impact. At base, these last mere moments but the lifetime of the tracers can be extended through further techniques. These tracers are "shatterpoints" and help provide Jinn analytical feedback than can be used to discover the weak points in his opponents techniques. |

Adapt
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This allows a combatant to always keep an edge on their opponent simply by using the hand counter to their opponents main hand.
Required Concentrations: Perception, Sword Weapons, Acrobatics, Close Quarter Combat
Fancy Footwork
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Elegant and focused, those who utilize Form 2 have mastered their balance and footwork making them very capable of outmaneuvering opponets on fundamentals alone. Effectively, through clever footwork and positioning the user abuses the economy of motion to eliminate unneeded losses of acceleration or power, allowing them to output to 100% in all their movements, however subtle they may seem.
X Flourish
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By moving the tip tightly in an X shaped pattern, the user will perform a flourish that quickly snaps back to the "Makashi Salute" stance, allowing them to flawlessly transition into another attack without the typical delay of utilizing different maneuvers. This flourish itself is less of an attack and more of a feint meant to force the opponent to make a wide movement to block, then capitalize on Form 2's faster recovery time to punish the opening.
Makashi Salute
D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The main stance of Form 2, the user balances their feet a shoulder length apart and angles their body towards the opponents side-on before dropping their strong hand into a low guard, blade pointed down. By holding the hilt with the thumb pointing down the length of the blade the user of this stance may achieve smaller, tighter, more accurate movements of their chi-blade. The rest of the fingers wrap around the hilt holding it tightly, but not so tight as to limit the fluidity of the movements. From this stance, the user launches attacks in flourishes, utilizing their speed to confuse and blindside opponents. To those without perception skills, this can cause considerable difficulty in effectively blocking the flurry of movements the user makes.
Disarming Flourish
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Utilizing superior footwork, the practitioner will launch a series of tight jabs while advancing forward on the opponents non-dominant foot, interrupting their balance and forcing them into an awkward defense. The closer or higher Jinn's speed is to his opponent, the more effective this is at tripping up the feet of an opponent. If Jinn has 5 or more speed than his opponent, it will be nigh impossible for them to not lose their footing. In the moment that their feet become tripped up, he will launch a jab for their shoulder, forcing the opponent to parry that strike leaving their inner wrist and hands that hold the blade exposed, then with a simple lateral movement strike downward at their hands aiming to remove their fingers, hands, or destroy their hilt rendering the opponent disarmed.
Required Concentrations: Sword Weapons, Perception, Projectiles
Blocking Mastery
C-Rank Discipline
The user has learned to angle their blade at the best possible angle for ensuring their weapons health and ensuring a sufficient block of any incoming attacks. Their mastery over angling even reaches a point where the user is able to angle their blade in ways that cause incoming attacks to naturally "slip" or "bounce off", decreasing the effectiveness of moves meant to lock blades. This bounce off effect causes opponents to require more time to reposition or recovery from a parry, and more distance to launch a follow-up attack, giving the practitioner the marginal edge needed to always have a leg up on repositioning for the next parry. This however does not give them any real advantage in striking- only blocking.
Deflect
C-Rank Maneuver
Utilizing their mastery of holding the blade to block, the user has additionally learned to push back against an incoming attack deflecting it and redirecting its force. In practice, this is used to forcibly redirect an opponents blade in a specified direction, or to bat a projectile in a specific direction. In order to perform this maneuver, Jinn must have equal or greater strength to the attack. The deflected attack cannot gain momentum or power and will only retain its original strength.
Blade Barrier
A-Rank Stance
Balanced on the balls of their feet, spread apart, the user holds their hilt cocked back in their arm, parallel to their head in a slightly crouched position. The epitome of form 3, this form utilizes flexibility to make the user capable of forming nearly a complete 365 degree defense around them with their Chi blade. To the outside eye the user will appear to be barely moving, but in reality the practitioner is rolling on the balls of their feet to create instant momentum while keeping their form loose enough to move, bend, or put their blade wherever it needs to be to block or deflect incoming attacks. The true hidden power however of this form is that to opponents who lack skills in parrying- such as angling their blade in the most efficient manner, will lose -5 strength on their strikes against the form 3 master, whose momentum and flawless angling gives them a great advantage.
History
Disliked by much of the order for his abandonment issues and deeply troubling personality, Xin Win fought to keep his acolyte in the order and trained him to be a monk that would uphold the peace of tiger country. At the same time, a young Jinn was befriended by a military strategist who was rapidly rising to popularity in the country as a populist- and a man who often told Jinn to embrace his feelings.
Years would pace and Jinn would faithfully serve Xin Win and the Tianguo through numerous mission, bring peace between warring clans, regulating the military, and performing humanitarian works in the southern countries. Things however would start to change when Jiin was a young teenager, and Master Xin Win was killed by a war lord. The young Jinn in a fit of fury would corner the war lord and destroy him- the warlords skills no match for the boy who wielded both the chi and a chiblade. At this point, Jinn would be appointed a new master, however their relationship would be rocky at best with Wan Jeong often opposing the boys methods to obtaining peace.
This tragedy and schism would lead Jinn to become closer with the strategist- who was now growing into a Warlord himself with many of the populace following him. Finally, that warlord would share his desire to take over and rule Tiger country once and for all- putting an end to the bickering and fighting of warlords and uniting the nation as one. Jinn viewed this as the only way of peace, but understood that the killing this would bring would directly go against all the Tianguo had instilled in him. He reported this to the Wan Jeong, who along with the other masters attempted to fight the rising warlord.
In the final moments of that- the Warlord pleaded to a watching Jinn who sprung to action, slaying the team of Tianguo monks who had come to arrest him and saving the warlord. Pledging allegiance to the man who would lead Tiger, Jinn lead his troops to eradicate the temples of the Tainguo and eventually fight his master, Wan Jeong, who would escape and seek refuge on Lava Island as the Warlord took complete control of Tiger country.
Following him to Lava under the Warlords orders, Jinn engaged his former master and in a ferocious fight disarmed him- but not before the master used his Chi to throw Jinn into the lava. The man was badly injured but managed to will the Chi to force him out of the lava to safely- and as a smoldering hunk of a man approached his former master and beheaded him.
Ever since his deformity, Jinn has worn a full armor suit and kept his helmet on, ashamed of his appearance; the appearance that once gave him a charm that whisked him into the bedchambers of plenty of maidens, and got many men to follow him. Nearly 30 years later, Jinn servers the warlord as his fist, carrying out all orders he has.
It is all for peace and order in the south. To obtain peace, they could not be lambs, but needed to becone wolves.
