- Face/head: Yasu long black hair that extends halfway down her back. She almost always has it hanging loose and hates pulling it back in a braid or ponytail though she will if she absolutely must for one reason or another. Her eyes are a vibrant amber that sometimes seem to almost glow.
- Body: Yasu has a well sculpted body that she has worked hard to perfect in the ways she wants it to be. She has no piercings out of personal desire, and her muscle build is purposely lean but well curved, an intentional balance of both the feminine and the functional as a shinobi. She is about 5'7'' and 120 lbs.
- Notable Features: Yasu has a tattoo of a wolf running up her left shoulder as if running out of the clouds. The full piece is a sleeve that begins with cherry blossom trees across the forearm that come up the elbow into a set of mountains and clouds, up to the wolf coming across the shoulder and towards the collar bone. It is currently the only tattoo she has.
- Clothing: Yasu typically wears black shorts and a wrap top, with a hood, that covers the essentials. She also wears black sandals with straps that come up to her knees. She also wears a black half hanya mask that only covers the lower portion of her face, the teeth of which glow in reaction to her ability when it is activated.
- General: Hajime Yasu is a cold and quiet sort of person. She normally keeps to herself, and the only smiles of hers that reach her eyes are the kind with mischief attached, or mayhem. She's thought to be a touch cruel though really she's an overly curious sort that loves to research. She loves to study, and that includes studying people and even things most wouldn't like to study. But overall she's a quiet person and most don't really know where her head is at, or just think she's an oddball. She is particularly interested in the study of spirits and the dead.
- Hopes/Dreams: Yasu has her sights set on Souta's position one day, or something similar. Being in charge of spirits and/or the studies of. She loves all things surrounding spirits and the Genma.
- Fears: Losing the right to study spirits, or her ability to be a shinobi.

When this ability is activated and the user is considered 'Embered', their eyes glow like the embers of a fire. Their hair glows starting at the ends like a living fire that fades going up until they too are more like weak embers. The entire body has a similar glow like the embers of a dying flame. Anyone within up to thirty meters of the user will begin to take katon damage, the strength of ignition/burn is equal to the user's Chakra Pool. The Katon Chakra moves out from the user at a Speed equal to the User's Chakra Pool. In addition, the user gains a +10 to Endurance for the duration of the ability, while suffering a -5 to Strength and a -5 to Speed. After preforming the necessary hand seals the user will then place his palm against a target. If the target is imbued with the power of a spirit their hand will visibly flare up with Maroon chakra.

After performing a set of hand seals, the user focuses chakra towards their hand. A chain made of Maroon chakra will shoot from their palm towards the target at [Control] speed, up to 20 meters away. If it hits a spirit, a jinchuuriki, tsukimogami, or other such being, the chain will wrap around them, placing their arms, if they have any, to their side, stopping them from performing hand seals. These chains cling to the chakra of the Spirit itself, and are unable to be broken through physical means. If the target has a related Mastery stat or a Spirit has a strength stat higher than 10, they are able to break the binding. If the chains are able to stay on their target, they will drain away -1 Mastery from hosts or -1 Strength from Spirits until broken free of.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user focuses chakra to their eyes, causing the Maroon chakra to flare up around their eyes. This works similar to a doujutsu, but with no physical change to the eye itself, allowing the user to see the chakra of spirits and spirit related objects/people as an aura of Maroon. While useful for a quick glance, it can be used up to [Chakra Pool]/5 posts, before needing to be refreshed.

After performing the needed hand seals and focusing chakra into their hand, the user places their hand on the head of a Spirit host, or on the object containing a spirit. This allows them to speak directly to the spirit in a telepathic link.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user will create a 10 meter cubed barrier within 15 meters of their location at [Control] Speed with [Control] Strength. This barrier is created of pure Maroon chakra and will only stop things that are related to spirits, normally jinchuuriki. As a result, those that are stopped by the barrier are unable to make their way through unless they can break it. Those untainted by spirits are able to pass through the barrier at their leisure. This barrier lasts for 4 posts.

After preforming the necessary hand seals, the user shoots out a chain of Maroon Chakra at [Control] speed that wraps around the spirit up to 25 meters. If the spirit stays sealed within this chain for 4 posts, the spirit is subjected to the control of the user of the technique, regardless of contracts up to 4 posts. If the spirit has more than 10 strength it can break the chain. This jutsu can only be used on D-Rank spirits.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user focuses chakra into their body, giving them a slight Maroon glow. For the next 10 posts, whenever they speak, they are able to communicate with Spirits of all sorts, including those inside of jinchuuriki within 20 meters.

Pre-Requisite: Overlay Concentration, Touch Initiation
After forming the needed hand seals, the user will touch the target's forehead. As long as the user has more control, than the jinchuriki's mastery, or spirit's control the overlay will take place. This projects the user into the subconscious of the host, allowing them to see and interact with the host and spirit sealed within. During this post, the user is able to talk and discuss with the spirit and host. During the overlay anytime the user places their hand over the spirit and squeezes, the spirit will "shatter" and the spirits power feels weakened afterwards. During the next 5 posts afterwards, this will cause a drop of -6 Mastery. This jutsu lasts for 5 posts and neither the host nor the user are able to move in real time unless provoked by an outside source.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user focuses chakra to their eyes, causing the Maroon chakra to flare up around their eyes. Additionally, they are able to see how the spirit is interacting with their host, be it a jinchuuriki, or a joruri. A technique that specializes in fighting Samurai and equalizing the battle field. The user will wait for their target to attack, and will quickly counter this by sliding the blade of their kunai onto the opponent's blade. The user will quickly move in towards their opponent while also sliding their kunai closer and closer to the opponent's hilt. This will force the angle of their blade to be raised and leaves the opponent wide open for attack.

The practitioner can launch projectiles in arcs up and over most obstacles, being able to accurately hit a target that is behind obstructions as if they were in the open. The practitioner must still be able to locate their target by some other means to ensure the projectile will hit its target.
Hajime Yasu grew up a happy child in Suna. Her parents were both simple merchants who ran a tea shop in the village, but her grandfather was a shinobi who retired when she was very young. She always idolized the man, and would spend as long as possible sitting at his feet listening to his stories about his missions or stories about time spent with his friends. The moment she was old enough she begged to go to the academy. Her parents were against it, but in the end her grandfather convinced them to allow her to go. She had always been an odd child who not only loved his stories, but asked questions about the oddest of details and he was curious to see where those questions would lead her.
Those questions took her through her genin years in relative simplicity. If she saw something strange or odd and she asked too many questions about it she was simply chuckled off. She went about her missions feeling rather silly chasing lost pets or babysitting and doing other minor and menial tasks. When she was a chunin she had the chance to do more and found herself often in the library researching strange occurrences and soon found herself reading about spirits and possessions and other odd incidents. Her obsession soon began. Before long she found herself taken under the wing of a Jounin who was training others to take on tasks involving such odd things and she started to learn more about tenkujutsu.
By time she became a Special Jounin her grandfather passed away in his sleep, his age catching up with him more than anything. But she also joined a team of guardians to deal not only in matters concerning spirits, but concerning genma.
