  • Face/head: Reina has long dark hair, kept in layers to frame her face and often kept long. Her eyes are often described as large and even 'doe-like' if she were to try and pout at someone, a move she rarely employs. Her skin is fairly pale from lack of sunlight exposure between where she lives and the fact that she often keeps a hood up.
  • Body: Reina has pale skin from her lack of sunlight exposure from where she lives and her caution about sun exposure due to her careful care of her skin and tattoos. Her form is typical of a young woman of her age and though not without blemish she does not have any major scars from her life as a shinobi as of yet, any she did have she had covered with tattoos after the fact.
  • Notable Features: She has several tattoos of a specific red and black design across her hands, chest/neck, back, and forearms.
Clothing/Accessories: Reina wears a black hooded crop top, often with a scarf tucked in around her neck. She also wears a pair of shorts and thigh highs, both attached to one another with simple straps. Her black shoes match. In addition cloth gloves that extend up past her elbows.
Personality:
  • General: Reina is very particular about her life and her appearance. Tattoos were not always apart of her life but as she started accumulating scars from her work she started adding them to cover the scars, preferring the look of the tattoos to the scars as a way to 'control' her own beauty and appearance. She is dedicated to her work and very little else.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Her hopes and dreams revolve around working her way up the ranks and improving her techniques and talents as a shinobi.
  • Fears: Reina has an intense fear of failure.
  • Combat Mentality: Reina is heavily focused on mission completion, at all costs. This is reflected in her combat mentality. She will utilize herself to the best of her abilities to the point of exhaustion and the same goes for any teammates. She does not tolerate failure nor weakness and is not afraid to sacrifice herself or others for the goal.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Katon affinity. Katon has a passive ignition effect.

Katon's effect is ignition, which means that all katon jutsu, regardless of effect, start and spread fire from their source. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own. Additionally, Katon jutsu have a Burning effect, and burn anyone they come in contact with with [Control] strength.

This concentration allows for the user to user chakra to modify, speed up, or slow down the biological processes of a living creature. Iijutsu is known for it's advanced nature and requires precise chakra control to work effectively. It can be differentiate from normal techniques by the faint light green color of the chakra used in Iijutsu techniques.

The fundamental skill of [Close Quarters Combat] indicates the user's proficiency to efficiently utilize martial arts and advanced combat moves involving the body, for example but not limited to, advanced kicks, grapples, advanced punches, etc.

The fundamental skill of [Perception] describes the user’s practiced methods of more keenly focussing their senses for a short time. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.

This user has learned to use visual cues to initiate genjutsu. Allowing them to perform actions, or draw the eyes to something to capture their targets in a genjutsu.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A technique used by medical shinobi to deduce what is going on with a patient. They will perform a hand seal and green chakra will cover their hands. From there, they may place them upon a number of patients equal to their [Chakra Pool]/2. Their chakra will travel through the patient at [Control] Speed before coming back to them and allowing the medical shinobi to be able to tell their patients temperature, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and heart rate for as long as they have chakra.

*[Iijutsu • Sterilization Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra throughout their upper body (torso, arms, hands, face) at [Control] Speed. This chakra will chew away at harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies on the skin, cleansing it until it is thoroughly sterile, and can be spread to objects, most commonly surgical tools. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place both over the target's chest or back. By allowing the chakra to be channeled throughout the lungs and up through the air ways, any unseen, solid or liquid obstructions will be cleared from these passages and ejected through the mouth, allowing the patient to breathe more easily. Additionally, the hands can be placed over the heart to stimulate it as if it was manually receiving CPR.

*[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After focusing chakra into their hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot at [Control] Speed. Wounds can be dealt with one limb at a time and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

*[Iijutsu • Bandage Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user may channel chakra into an object (such as a leaf, piece of cloth, etc.) in the absence of bandages to sterilize it and is able to apply it to the wound of a patient. Once applied, the selected object will adhere to the flesh around the wound, protecting it from bacteria and other harmful foreign bodies. Wounds covered by this jutsu not only are safeguarded against bacteria but also applied an antiseptic and burn ointment to further provide aid.

*[Iijutsu • Local Anesthesia]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will channel chakra into their hands and then place them over a group of muscles. Their chakra will spread through the muscle group at [Control Speed and numbness will begin to creep throughout it, beginning with the flesh before seeping into the muscle below. This numbing begins where the user has placed his/her hands and spreads outward until the hands are removed. The numbness can only cause pain equivalent to being stabbed with a kunai to be nullified. Once numbed, the effects last for four (4) posts before fading.

*[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will channel their chakra and then make a small incision on the patient before placing their hands over the new wound. As this chakra is channeled into the body, the poison is extracted and contained in a green orb of chakra in the user's palm at [Control] Speed. Once extracted, the liquid poison will be suspended in the containment orb. Their chakra then mutates the poison at [Control] speed and rearranges it into an antidote. This antidote is effective on C-rank or lower poisons and induces immunity to the specific poison the patient was ailed with for 7 posts.

*[Iijutsu • Skin Mask]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
This particularly disturbing technique is typically utilized by medical-nin operating covertly. After obtaining a dead body, the user will channel chakra into the deepest layer of skin to carefully remove the facial skin from the underlying tissue. Once this has been done, the user will focus their chakra into the separated skin before applying it to his/her face. As this chakra makes contact with the user's skin, the skin cells will bond, creating a seamless mask. This new face remains stable for up to three (3) threads before it will begin to rot.

*[Iijutsu • Blood Transfer Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user must make small incisions into the patient and donors' bodies to open a vein. Once the vein has been opened, the user will begin to channel chakra into the donor and the patient at [Control] Speed. The patient's blood pressure will increase and stabilize itself while the donors blood pressure will decrease due to the transfer of blood. No more than 1 liter (2 pints) of blood can be transferred using this technique without repercussions such as fainting, loss of sensation, anemia, and death. In the event a donor is not available, the user may act as the donor. This also acts to allow the donor and patient to be a synthetic match so as to not send the patient into shock. This technique does not transfer KKG permanent or otherwise to the patient.

*[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user performs a short set of hand seals and then will gently place their index finger at the base of the patient's wound. Once this is done, the user will lift their finger and touch it to the other side of the wound, causing a visible 'stitch' of chakra to appear and hold the wound together with [Control] Strength. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Actions performed with more [Strength] or [Speed] than the [Control] used to create the stitch will destroy it.

*[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
The antithesis to the famous *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm], the infamous *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel] is no precision instrument. The user will channel chakra into their palms before attempting to place them on a target. If the user is able to connect the entirety of their palm, the chakra will be released into the opponent's body at [Control] Strength. If cast with 34 [Control] or less, this chakra will slice through thinner body tissues, such as arteries, ligaments, tendons, or veins with ease but cannot slice thicker tissue such as that found around organs, up to 4 inches from the surface in an area roughly the size of the user's hand. If cast with 35 [Control] or more, thicker tissue can be sliced through. The skin remains unblemished by this technique, as it only causes internalwounds. The chakra used in this technique is highly visible when first activated and emanates from both hands for a duration of three (3) posts or until contact with the opponent is made.

*[Iijutsu • Paralysis Removal]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will channel chakra to their hands and then apply them to the affected area. As this chakra interacts with the temporarily lame muscle tissue, it will restore natural mobility to the area. This lowers the paralysis effects of jutsu and poisons by 2 posts.

D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The Fukusha will pair their feet in an L stance, and have a casual movement to them despite their mind being on edge. This stance is typically used to lull opponents into thinking the user is relaxed as their feet are paired shoulder width apart, and knees slightly bent for immediate leverage when needed. While moving the user will typically keep their body on edge as if to react out of instinct to dodge, parry, or block any incoming attacks. In this stance the users keep their torso up straight.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
When the user is fighting up close and personal, they will wave their off hand in the face of their opponent as a distraction while their other hand will perform an underhanded palm strike to the chest. This strike aims to wind them with a blow to the sternum which can create useful openings.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user will intercept an incoming strike aimed for them, and divert it to the side opposite of the hand they're using to divert. As they attempt to move the opponent around them they will raise their arm on the side they're directing the opponent, and jab a strong elbow to that person's head as an attempt to disorient or land a sturdy blow to the face (-1 Willpower). While rudimentary it is still a strong strike as it's compatible with most incoming attacks of the physical nature.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
When fighting in close quarters with an opponent, the user will jut an open palm strike at their opponent's nose attempting to disorient the target (-1 Willpower) before spinning quickly on their back heel as they raise their opposite leg high in the air and bring it down in an axe kick. They will aim to strike and cradle their opponent's head down towards the ground. This move can prove fruitful for creating a wide opening on an opponent as its goal is to disorient, and then bring their opponents down onto the ground with a strong kick.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
When moving into an enemy's close quarters range, the user will aim to throw their opponent's defensive stance upwards with their free hand as they aim with their opposite elbow jutting it into their opponent's ribcage to knock them down into the ground. This move can be useful when attempting to close the gap and prevent an enemy from fleeing after forcing them into close quarters combat.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
As an opponent comes in for a strike, the user will intercept the attack with their free arm, and tuck it underneath their own arm around their back as they pull their opponent closer. When the user pulls the opponent in they'll usher a chop to the opponent's neck to cause them to gag and stun them. After stunning their opponent the user will then force the opponent down into the ground forcing their arm behind their back in a lock.

As the user comes in for a strike, they'll throw a sweeping hook, and turn with the inertia swinging out their other hand to backhand their opponent as they spin around. As they come to face their opponent once more, they'll throw a straight kick into the opponent's chest in an attempt to knock them down or back far.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
As an opponent swings in with a weapon, the user will side step the attack as they step in quickly to hold the weapon down on its safe end, and bat at the opponent's hand attempting to twist and rip the weapon away from the opponent. As the user rips the weapon away they'll then transition from batting the opponent's hands into an elbow to the opponent's face.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A user who practices this discipline is skilled in seeing where weapons and projectiles are being thrown from to be able to deduce the general direction they are coming from. With this discipline, someone attempting to launch attacks from the shadows will reveal their position as the user traces the projectile back to the opponent in the shadows.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A user who practices this discipline is skilled in studying their opponent's hold on weaponry. They'll be able to deduce weak spots in an opponent's grip, and better avoid attacks and prevent their body from instinctively blocking from attacks that would otherwise be dangerous if blocked. This essentially reinforces a user's natural knowledge of weaponry, and the pursuit to disarm an opponent.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, any victim that sees the user preforming the hand seals will be induced under the genjutsu. This causes the target to begin to smell rotting flesh and decaying bodies. The jutsu can cause nausea and vomiting from the target, depending on how sensitive their sense of smell is. The smell of the dead can also cause some mental stress on the target. This genjutsu lasts for three (3) posts.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, then whistle. Anyone who hears the whistle will be captured in this genjutsu. For the following 4 posts, the target will see a shadow in the corner of their eyes, constantly shifting out of view when they attempt to look at it.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, then within the next post, snap their fingers. Anyone who hears the snapping will hear an explosion in the distance behind them. This works as an effective distraction, or a scare tactic, if properly utilized.

[Genjutsu • Facing Demons]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
A rather simple genjutsu that is put into place when the user says a statement ending in "Face your Demons". Seconds later, anyone who hears the user say that will see several small demon-like creatures run past, just a few feet away from the user and the victim, serving as a somewhat confusing distraction.

*[Genjutsu • Pins and Needles]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After performing the hand seals and pricking the opponent with some sort of small weapon (usually senbon), the opponent feels their arms and legs fall asleep. It feels as if the blood flow to these appendages has basically stopped, making their movements a tad sluggish and just all around uncomfortable. This jutsu doesn’t really hinder a person, but it makes everything they do feel off. For those who are attuned to the way their body feels during battle, it can be extremely distracting. Lasts 3 posts.

History Fukusha Reina was a bright and cheerful child, at her age she was young enough to be one of those cheerful to join the ranks of Iwa when her clan was brought into its boundaries and its bounty. Yet she was also old enough to understand not everyone was so happy about the changes, nor happy with their new village leadership. She came into the village young, eager for a new home and a new place to prove herself, not just to her new people, but to the people she grew up with.

Not all of her family survived the shift into Iwa, leaving Reina with only one parent (her father) and an only child, but still she was determined to move forward. Much of the brightness in her eyes was said to have faded and her determination began the day she and her clan joined the village.

Her father saw to her training in the ways of her clan, in addition to what training the village would provide. Her young age and impressionability of that age of course being considered a boon. She pressed forward in her new duties, her training, and even her at home learning.

Though as her life moved forward she found herself constantly torn between so many places. There was of course those within her clan who were bitter and angry, but also many within the village who were distrusting as well. She found herself as she grew focusing completely within herself and her training. Friends became less of a focus, even within the clan, and her work became all she cared about. She cared less and less about other issues and only about her work and potential promotions. Working her way from Genin to Chunin by time she was twelve years of age.

By sixteen she was a Special Jounin, taking more of an interest in Medical Ninjutsu after she witnessed a fellow clan member dying on mission from lack of medical attention. It wasn't that it was not available to him, but rather that a shinobi ignored him entirely due to his clan ties. More distrust she had seen than ever pointed towards members of her clan she became resolved to do as much as she could for those around her. She made sure the shinobi who failed her clansman was reported and paid for his failure, but also took it upon herself to learn more so she could do more than just watch helplessly.

Failure became more than something that could never happen under her nose, it became a fear though one she tried to hide at all costs. A fresh Jounin now studying the mind and the effects she might have on it using genjutsu techniques, Reina finds herself stretched thin, and newly dedicated to her own training, determined to force herself to be the best she can at anything she touches or studies.
