Her strawberry-blonde hair is quite long and goes down past her waist. It has a natural center part, and to keep her hair out of her face she ties a partial top not, letting the back still hang down.
- Body: Chihiro is thin and athletic; with a moderate chest and a slight curve to her hips. She isn't anything beyond average for a teenager.

- General: Chihiro is a generally caring individual who tends to side on altruism and positivity. She is often faced with contemplation of her identity as a half-born; her father from Soul Country and her mother a Kumogakure Kunoichi. This has also given her conflicting ideals of Soul nationalism yet desire to serve the empire.
- Hopes/Dreams: Chihiro would like to lead Soul Country some day and push to restore its independence within the Lighting Empire.

Born a few years prior to the attempted invasion of Soul Country by Kirigakure and Iwagakure, Chihiro grew up in a relatively wealthy family in the capital of Soul Country. Daughter to the Kumogakure diplomat, Arashiyama Kiko, and the famed swords smith and martial artist Gang Hua Chen, Chihiro knew very little hardship as a young girl until the arrival of foreign forces. Kirigakure and Iwagakure moved quickly, decimating many portions of Soul Country but were eventually beaten back by the allied forces of Kumogakure, Konohagakure, and Sunagakure.
The conflict was short lived, but the toll was enough to drive Soul Country to relinquish more of their independence to the others, and by the start of the Great War, they had let the Lightning Country forces occupy their humble island as a launch pad to the east and deterrent to Kirigakure.
Though this was welcomed by the Soul sovereign as a deterrent, many of the working class felt angry about this as a tide of nationalism and tense feelings rocked Soul Country. As a child of a Kumogakure shinobi, Chihiro experienced both privilege but also hardship as she was outcast by her peers and class mates who bullied her for her mixed roots. This only worsened when, led by a rogue leader of Kumogakure, Tada Banri turned on Soul Country and sacked the capital. Shielded from most of the worst details, Chihiro's mother, father, and forces under Emperor Nakajima defeated the would be usurper and restored partial power back to Soul, but the country was left as an annexed state to the the new Lightning Empire.
This didn't sit right with some, but at the same time, many realized this was the only way to remain safe from worse would-be occupiers. To Chihiro, who had one foot in both worlds, she could see good in this but needed to walk a careful path against those who saw bad.
After the war, Chihiro came of age to join the Lightning Empire military academy and after a 3 year stint in the empires capitol, Kumogakure, earned her rank of Genin, but barely. Not particularly skilled at anything beyond outlasting her opponents with a naturally powerful chakra reserve she awaits placement on a GDS and continuation of her education.
