Taijutsu, Genjutsu, and Human Puppetry.

Hello kiddos,

Today we've got some info that might interest some, put some to sleep, but I guess its all cool stuff.

First off taijutsu had a little clause added into their rules, not necessarily a big rule, but is important to those with stealth jutsus or jutsus written as an absolute.

The Jutsu

Taijutsu as techniques is divided into 3 subcategories, much like the various forms of ninjutsu. These three categories are: Maneuvers, Stances, and Disciplines. Below we'll explain each category.

Taijutsu written as absolutes, (I.E. This stealth jutsu cannot be detected unless by a higher ranked perception jutsu), can be overruled by common sense, (I.E. A person with high instinct can see through a D-rank stealth jutsu given the appropriate circumstances).

Genjutsu has been clarified for all of you. Non-specialists can now have up to B-rank Warp genjutsu, while illusion of force is completely specialist locked for Genjutsu Specialist only. A and S-rank Warp genjutsu is spec locked as well for Genjutsu Specialist only.

This user has learned to combine the basics of Status and Illusion genjutsu, allowing them to use single techniques to create sensory illusions, as well as status changes on their target.
Requires One Genjutsu Concentration Slot.

A & S Rank Warp Genjutsu require a Genjutsu Specialist

The illusion of force is the other exception. The illusion of force is creating the feeling of something pulling, or pushing, or evoking some sort of force against the target of the genjutsu. These are typically binding genjutsu, or making something the user is carrying weigh more. Illusion of force jutsu are reserved for [Genjutsu Specialists] Due to the nature of these genjutsu, they can be broken not only through the use of kai, but by being stronger than the illusion being placed on the target.

Human Puppetry has been clarified. It requires a concentration to create human puppets or utilize human puppets.

Human Puppetry
Having educated themselves in the human body, the user has learned how to control the human body through Kugutsu. Additionally, they have learn how to transform a dead body into a puppet, retaining it’s unique concentrations from when they were still alive.

Why you adding a concentration requirement for Human Puppets? How does that even work? It's just 1 jutsu for self and 1 jutsu for other puppets.
The point before was that it was just them 2 jutsu that required just Iijutsu concentration and Puppetry Concentration without any actual Human Puppetry Concentration.
For starters how can it be a concentration with just them 2 high level jutsu?
Also why does a puppet body take 3 concentrations and an ability compared to an elemental body?

Q: Are Illusion of Force Genjutsu still have a lower str than a ninjutsu of equal rank, they way they did pre-flip?

@Sia: Illusion of force genjutsu are measured by the ninjutsu pre-requisite for it. So like a base S-rank illusion of force would exert 35 strength. And like a C-rank illusion of force would exert 10 strength. It states it in the rules.

@Wright: Human Puppetry is a specialized skill within a larger skill set. Why shouldn't it be a concentration? It functions similar to kinesis where you have to add an extra concentration to utilize it. Human puppetry is its own skill set and different from puppetry hence why it requires another concentration. You need the human puppetry concentration to utilize human puppets, the iijutsu concentration to make human puppets.

Then you're going to make a bunch of weird mini human puppetry jutsu to fill up the concentration? I'm not personally seeing it as a whole new skill to control them, just the 1 jutsu it has always been.
The iijutsu knowledge is already the human body knowledge needed for the jutsu to turn them into puppets.
Sia has a good point on Elemental body, just that it wasn't fully clear on the requirements for it when looking it up in the rules to make sure I'm not missing something.
However in that case becoming a human puppet yourself is already an ability which shows any extra skill needed for controlling your own new body on top of the iijutsu and puppetry knowledge needed to make the body.
If yourself being a puppet needs extra balance more in line with elemental bodies then it should be S-Rank pyramids in Iijutsu and Puppetry along with the Self Human Puppet jutsu.

To me there is no extra skill because Iijutsu is already the extra concentration you need to build human puppets so this weird 3rd concentration makes no sense and that's why it was always decided it was just the jutsu you needed.
Maybe there's an abundance of people thinking it's overpowered to control Human Puppets even with the current limiters but to me this new concentration doesn't make sense because you already had to add Iijutsu concentration to even learn the jutsu in the first place.
It just seems so wrong and fishy to me, like the step should be more solid set rules and limitations based on level of iijutsu and puppetry learned instead of a concentration that is just a concentration for the sake of having a concentration.

Whenever you have a stat battle, there is enough leeway that 'common sense' doesn't work. Is 1 higher okay? 2 higher? 5 higher? etcetc.

Every person and jutsu that uses stealth will no doubt utilise it in a myriad of ways, if common sense between the players isn't sufficient then it will up to the discretion of the moderating team. We have purposely left it obscure to allow for leeway and are not going to give a hard number.

I thought Kinesis was given a bunch of smaller jutsu? Anyway it just doesn't make sense to me since Iijutsu is already brought in for the knowledge for it. The only problem I see is that it's not definined how well you need to really know Iijutsu or really puppetry to get them, for one you just need Iijutsu conc which could be 1 D-Rank Jutsu.
