Recent Staff Changes

Alright. Introduction real fast. For those who do not know me, I'm Fluffy. I've been on this forum for maybe three years, I stopped keeping track. As Onu stated, this forum has been on a noticeable decline and it has been bothering not just him, but myself as well. I've wanted to do a lot of things with this forum and now, I just might be able to do it.

Before we go anywhere further with this forum, let me state one thing very clearly. I am NOT Onu. I will never be Onu. I am going to be someone who thinks, acts and performs entirely differently. So, whatever Onu might have done before is going to be different currently. I state this because the next thing I'm going to say is going to be made more clear by this.

We NEED staff. With the recent loss of a lot of people, we do desperately need staff. HOWEVER, I do not want people who feel that they should be staff based on our need. I want people who actually, very genuinely, desire to help the forum and see it grow and continue. With this, I'm going to be looking for people who want to be here for this forum, who want to assist, in even little ways. That also means that if you want to do this... and suddenly lose time to do this, you may be taken off staff. Stagnation is never good for anything, no matter how good the intentions of a person may be when they either choose to or need to leave.

What I desire to do with this forum is bring back a few things that have been sitting in limbo for a long time. The Organization system is being worked on as we speak, but I will not give an ETA. It will be done when its done. There are a few more systems that may need either revamps, relooks and the like. They will be gotten to, but expect nothing immediate. I want to see this forum grow. To see it thrive again. But I do NOT want this to be the same old forum that you are all comfortable with because that is what got us here in the first place. We need to move forward and forward is where I am going to lead us.

I don't expect this change to be completely smooth. I expect to see some people not so thrilled on this. I expect to see both the good and the bad side of this entire situation but what I want you all to understand is that I'm here to stay.

That being said, if anyone is interested in a staff position, an OOC position, or anything they feel that might help the forum, post it here. I want to hear what you have to say, what you might want to see, etc.

Lastly, final thing, I swear this time... I am glad that you all, at least those who do, see me as worthy of being an admin here. It makes me smile to realize that I am someone who others can look up to for advice or leadership. Director and I are going to accomplish a lot, I feel that.

But quick question; how will the lotto proceed? I havent really kept tabs on the weapons, but think one or two were getting redone right? The ones sia and kit had won if I'm not mistaken.

Oh and is there any info to be given on the map? Is madam still working on new countries?

Glad to have you as admin! I'd be happy to help out with a Co-OOC position. Preferably for Iwa or Kiri though if I could be a Konoha Co-OOC as well as Kage that would be even better

I think I'm pretty well known for not being biased in the way I RP, keeping my characters actions authentic with their views just as I would keep any OOC actions authentic with the best interest of the village.

Clearly Director and Fluffy are the gods and have the say on it, but to my knowledge Izanagi generally being a kage and OOC in a village is a no as the OOC is a check/balance to the kage and vice versa.

I also think it's generally looked down upon to be a Kage and OOC another village, as it's a conflict of interest~ Though desperate times...

As Kage's we kind of have some RP duties, though, as you've touched upon. We're the IC Face, decision maker, and power of the village. So, advice from the only other Player Kage atm to the other one, if you really want to make a village shine cherish that position and create IC opportunities and arcs for ya boys! We may not have the title of OOC but we're one of the most important people on the board because our actions as kage influence the entire village and thus the landscape of the RP <3

Yeah. Basically what Hayate said. The OOC and the Kage are kinda two sides of the same coin. The OOC represents the way things are, and is responsible for the NPC's and current state of affairs of a village unable to make changes on their own, whereas the Kage are the IC powers capable of setting in motion reforms and restructures of the village's systems. At least that's how I was taught.

Yeah that's all good. I understand that and I was mostly joking about being Kage and Co-ooc in the same village as I understand the desire to keep those sides seperate. Willing to help out with other villages though and I most certainly will be making strides to use my position as Hokage to its fullest! Rest assured!

I am working on fixing the lottos, possibly redoing ones that the folks got abandoned or whatever, and such things.

And what maps? Cause I've no clue about those sadly. If you could inform me, I'd gladly help.

It is almost exclusively member input. We can barely get mods to check apps, let alone make entire countries. I can't speak for Ginja or Director directly (haha) but it's an ongoing event that you'll still be paid for, because please help us world build, we're desperate.

No-no that's not what I meant. Nafan was, as far as I know, was in charge of the project. Members created the countries. All I need to know are which countries are needed and who to send them to.

Anything that has a number in the list instead of a country name is needed. I took it over temporarily during Nafan absence, so PM it to him actually if you have one made.
