In a vote, y'all decided to do a pokemon tournament. We will be going via Smogon rules, in the OU set of rules, specifically. We will be using Pokemon Showdown to host these matches, which is free, meaning everyone is welcome to participate. Please post here saying you're registering, but you may wait until after registration to announce your team. Please use the same team all tournament. When you win a game, please take a screenshot of the result and post it to let us know for sure who won.
The tournament itself will be double elimination, and the brackets will be randomized once registration is closed. If you don't know much about pokemon, but are still interested in participating, please ask one of our more experienced pokemon players to help you out a little bit. Points will be awarded for winners and losers for every match they participate in, meaning even if you don't win a single match, you'll still receive points.
Registration will close, at the earliest, at the end of the month.

/weak, /weakness [Pokemon]: Displays types that the Pokemon are weak to.
/movesearch [criteria], [criteria]...[all]: Criteria are type, category, flag, status inflicted, type boosted, and numeric range for base power, pp, and accuracy. Finds moves that fits criteria.
/itemsearch [keyword], [keyword]...:Searches item that matches keywords.
learn [pokemon], [move], [move]...: Displays if the Pokemon can learn said moves.
/analysis [pokemon]: Displays the smogon analysis of the Pokemon.
/data, /dt [item|pokemon|move]: Gives information on the item in question.

You can use whatever you want following the OU rules which are linked; Only certain megas are banned.
Showdown will make sure your team works either way so long you mark it as OU.
