There's been some talk and want over the last few months about allowing companions to specialize. We've been looking it over and discussing if and how this would be possible.

We finally settled on allowing Companions to utilize Specializations under certain conditions.

A companion may use Specializations after their master has taken the Evolve perk. This perk has been added with this update. It allows a RPCs companion to pick a Specialization. Evolve is a one time purchasable perk and is able to be bought once a RPC is of Special Jounin rank or higher.

The second way for a companion to have a Specialization is through the Companion Master ability. This ability now grants 1 companion capable of Specialization and 3 others who are not. This effect stacks, allowing a person to have a total of 4 companions able to use Specialization through a combination of abilities and perks.

This is fucking perfect

Does this allow the spec'ed companion to have more than one stat at 50? I mean, what all does this allow? As I am sure it would not allow for everything that specs do for actual characters.

Also, does this only apply to henchmen, or can summons, spirits, and pets be spec'ed to?

May I change the perk that I have obtained prior to this update?
