itt: give your characters Pokemon stats, typing, an ability, and a moveset. Nothing too much. You're free to do more though. BUT. There are some rules because rules make things fun.
The amount of distributive points you have between your stats is the character's own stat point total times 10 with a few exceptions. Genin/D-Rank are treated as +8 and Bannin/S-Rank are treated as -8.
Also, the typing doesn't have to reflect affinity in the least bit. If your character specializes in Genjutsu, Psychic type is fine. If your character is just purely evil, there's Dark. Typing doesn't have to make complete sense. They do, however, have to have some relevancy.
Finally, you can have a custom ability and you can have a signature move. Don't overdo it though. You'll look silly. Movesets and ability should reflect the character's jutsu and bloodline/fighting style/personality.
