Duelist Strife [DST]

Post by Face » Thu May 30, 2013 7:39 pm

A pet project which is part of a bigger project, Duelist Strife is a base set inspired by the super sucky card game YUGIOHMANZ. It's not so much a "LOOK I MADE A BUNCH OF CARDS," but just my attempt at picturing an alternate sort of meta because we all know that YGOMANZ has a terrible meta. It's also a terrible card game.

Man why didn't I spend this time making an MTG set instead.

Anyways, this set is created in mind of being played within itself, as in no dumb Elemental Heroes or Mermails or things like that. I'm planning maybe an expansion to come after. Really don't know. Anyways, this set lacks a couple of things like Synchro Monsters and XYZ monsters. Oh, also archetypes. I've always hated that YGO was basically a game of archetypes. Still keeping Tuners around though, if only for flavor.

Anyways, here's the breakdown:
