I want to discuss with you guys the best, and by best I mean strongest, village. I don't want to compare PCs, because Kiri has an unfair advantage of having the bulk of the best jounin on the forum. So I decided to evaluate each village based on 3 defining factors
Clans The clans available for the village to use.
Extensions: Any unique extensions, supers, or styles that only the village has access to.
Genma: Two extremely powerful, and extremely dangerous individuals in the village, the Genma present an interesting and unmatched threat that could easily shift the tide of a battle. We assume all jinchuurinki are full powered.
Below will be my analysis of each village. Then I'll post how I think each village would fair against each other. Feel free to provide your own analysis of a village, or how a specific fight would go.
This is all theoretical, of course, but I'm always looking for ways to prove Kiri's superiority.
KonohaShow
Clans:
Konoha certainly comes out the gate strong with quite a few clans at it's disposal...
Yamanaka One of the powerhouses of Konoha, the Yamanaka clan would prove to be important in any espionage, able to easily slip in and out of situations with their control over the human mind. In combat, a Yamanaka's ability to take control of their opponent would be vital in large scale attacks, and could prove essential in fighting big targets. Their weakness, of course, would be that their bodies are often left useless when they're possessing their opponents, providing themselves to be a possible liability.
Nara Once again, another big player, the Nara are equally as formidable as the Yamanaka when it comes to controlling their opponent. While their ability doesn't come with the tactical liability of leaving their bodies limp on a battle field, the Nara would have to account for the surrounding fighting. Fortunately, Nara are quick thinkers, and would likely be able to manage. Their intellect would be invaluable in any large scale invasion, as well.
AkamichiAn interesting clan, the Akamichi are able to growth to great sizes, and increase their strength along side it. While they'd be able to take out a good number of weaker enemies, they do make themselves easy targets, and anyone that could compete with their strength, would find their size to be an easy thing to exploit.
Inuzuka The Inuzuka bring a interesting dynamic to any battle, using their canine familiars to help them in fights. Their increased senses make them excellent taijutsu fighters, but overall they aren't a very unique factor. Any decent taijutsu user would be able to keep up with a Inuzuka, and a canine with a close bond to it's own could present itself as a liability, easy to use against an unsuspecting owner. Their ultimate technique makes them a large target, much like the Akamichi, which could be useful, but could be counterintuitive as well.
Awai The Light Clan, lazers and flashes, and solid light, the Awai are the definition of field control. Just a few of them could turn the tide of a fight, so I can't fathom how useful an entire clan of them would be. The Awai would be integral to the success of Konoha in any fight due to their unmatched ability when it came to blinding, and their speedy, dangerous attacks. There aren't many ways to counter an awai, and their versatile ability would be paramount to Konoha's success.
Senju The Wood Clan, much like the awai, the Senju florish in controlling the battle field. While their methods are a little more easily countered, the Senju are equally versatile, and would be an important asset in Konoha's approach to a battle. Supported by the other clans, the Senju clan could easily present itself as an enormous threat to any thought out plan, and would require reconsideration once accounted for.
Aburame Much like the Inuzuka, the Aburame introduce and interesting mechanic to a fight that could be incredibly useful if not foreseen. An effective AoE user would easily neutralize an Aburame, or even a group of Aburame, but eliminating their Kaikachuu however, meaning they would have to maintain an ambush like attack pattern. The Aburame fill a niche that allows them to be successful in it, but easily defended against outside of it.
Hyuuga Legendary by their own accord, the Hyuuga are accomplished taijutsu fighters, oftentimes unmatched in their abilities to perceive, predict, and counter their opponents. The jyuuken style they use to weaken and inhibit their opponents ability would be useful. It would take skilled taijutsu fighters to stand on par with a hyuuga, but it's certainly possible, and large scale attacks aren't easy to defend against, even if they can be foreseen, so opponents will larger attacks wouldn't be hindered by the Hyuuga up-close-and-personal style.
Extensions and Styles
Ash A Katon/Fuuton particulate style, Ash utilizes hot particulates to trigger explosions from a distance that wreck and destroy the battlefield. Ash isn't easy to account for, and would have to be used in controlled environments as there would be no way to limit friendly casualties. It's usefulness would not be unseen, even without exploding, a heated area-of-effect technique would allow for the neutralization of entire areas of the battlefield, and easy field control.
Sankaton A katon/katon style, Sankaton presents itself as an advanced form of Ash, and another, far more dangerous form of field control. Sankaton's ability to destroy most anything, and ignore the things it can't, qualify it as one of the most useful assets available for the village. Once again, field control is important, and Sankaton gives it. While it's slow, it can cut through most, if not all, defenses, and can force movements of troops by overwhelming it. The limit of Sankaton is its demand for chakra, and defensive techniques that take up large areas, specifically particulate based techniques, would overwhelm and neutralize Sankaton with ease.
Genma
Fusions Debated to be one of the most powerful genma, the Fusions gemna is able to utilize all 10 of the base fusions. A fully trained jinchuurinki would present itself as an enormous threat, able to act, not only as field control, but as anti-personnel and anti-tank. Few targets would be able to combat against the overwhelming nature of the Fusions jinchuurinki. While it's hard to specify a certain weakness to the Fusions genma, it shares the same very specific weakness as every other genma, Overlay genjutsu. A strong enough, or durable enough fuuinjutsu user would be able to stop the Fusions genma as well.
Earth Not an ideal genma to have in a warzone, the Earth genma's evasion and merging abilities would prove useful on a small scale level, but would have limited utility on a large scale. The genma would be fast, and hard to kill however, and would easily get through defenses, making it ideal for flanking and ambushes.

SunaShow
Clans
Dasu An interesting clan for Suna, the Dasu clan is a twin based clan that is able to enter other peoples bodies and break them down. Their abilities have limits, and the twins are somewhat reliant on them. In a one on "one" fight, individual Dasu certainly have an advantage, but in a warzone where combatants will be able to come and go into a fight as they please, Dasu would have difficulty obtaining, and maintaining an upper hand. Especially when you consider that without a host to leech off of, a Dasu will die. The Dasu -could- be useful as combatants, but they'd have limited utility.
Henrin Taijutsu lords, the Henrin would prove to fill the same role the Nara have in Konoha as the designers of much of the planning in their village. Their ability to understand, perceive, and interpret tactics would become paramount to Suna's success. On an individual scale, the Henrin would serve as effecient ground troops, that are capable of fending off multiple opponents at once. Unfortunately, much like the Hyuuga, individual Henrin would easily be taken down by an equally competent taijutsu user.
Hizashi Area of Effect fighters that would stand on level with the Awai in their ability to control the battle field, the Hizashi would easily be able to reduce the fighting capability of huge pockets of resistance. The unfortunate side-effect is that they would be unable to distinguish from friend and foe, so their use would be limited to retreat-and-ambush style tactics, or leading the front lines. Additionally, once the nature of their role is determined, the Hizashi could be countered with proper methods, though it certainly wouldn't be desirable to afford troops specifically to counter the Hizashi.
Naegi: The Naegi proved useful for the survival of Suna, and would be helpful on an individual basis, but as a whole, their ability is easily countered, and wouldn't flourish in a large scale battlefield that is subject to a constant barrage of attacks. The nature of plant based combat presents numerous weaknesses that could easily be exploited, or avoided, but any variety of adept shinobi.
Kouseki: An interesting clan, the Kouseki would provide powerful defenses to a village that is surprisingly sparse on them. They would be able to quickly, and effectively, raise walls and provide defensive weapons to protect troops, both small and large. Offfensively, the Kouseki are unique in nature in that they can provide themselves with durable, dangerous weapons if need be, and can simply take a hit on their own. While it certainly makes them a good type to have, the Kouseki would be well-matched agaisnt an effective taijutsu/ninjutsu user.
Shuudoushi: A unique clan that stands alone in it's niche, the Shuudoushi would certainly prove their worth in a warzone, allowing them to disarm and dismantle opposing troops, allowing for easy and simple attacks to destroy them. Unfortunately, that's the limit of the Shuudoushi's use. While individually they may prove to be strong shinobi, as a clan, their defining ability is easily countered against by not combating them head on, and using ranged tactics to eliminate them.
Yuusha: Anti-personnel never had a better name. The Yuusha would be effective in not only neutralizing enemy attacks, but capitalizing on them to take advantage of any situation. The Yuusha would be defensive specialists with a unique brand of offensive power that makes them unstoppable. The only, and possibly game-changing weakness is that not all Yuusha would be available at all times, and the wrong Yuusha caught in the wrong place is just a normal shinobi. Additionally, they'd be limiited when dealing with fusions, or elements no longer basic in nature. Once a Yuusha's elements are figured out, they can easily be anticipated, but eliminating a good chunk of your opponents arsenal still proves to be valuable.
Ouji Able to freeze and stunt small areas, the Ouji would provide to be important to the support of troops. Unfortunately, their individual capability stops there. They would serve great as anti-air, and field support, but otherwise they'd be limited in capability.
Extensions
Sand While Sand would serve well as make-shift defenses, and the stop and counter suiton users, perhaps to limit visibility, but it's utility would end there. Sand's utility is very specific, and limited, and would be hardpressed to find a place where it could provide a service that wouldn't already be available. Additionally, in the wrong terrain a sand user would have little to no use.
Kuuton Very unlike Sand, Kuuton would provide itself as an unmatched service.
