A recent idea of Nyrax's has been to create a group of sorts within Suna, that would observe and respond to the more mystical and spiritual side of the NSRP universe, with large amounts of emphasis on Japanese Mythology and Mythological creatures and beasts. As he is pretty much unavailable atm he asked me to make a post looking for people that would be interested in joining this group, we'd be looking for 4 or more users, and at present it's just the two of us.
The story of this group of people would be told in "chapters" which would basically amount to plot boards in game. While there would be an underlying main plot (which Nyrax says he had in his head). Anyone in the group would be able to lead a "chapter", so that the group doesn't stagnate, and is instead brought into interesting situations, all of which could not be thought up by a single person. Neither Nyrax or I want to be a dictator in this group.
Even with that said, however, there would be some rules (created by Nyrax) that would be centered on the characters that would enter the group.
1: This is meant to be a new experience for characters, based off of a blank slate of sorts. So a new character would need to be created for the group.
2: The challenges that the group will have to overcome will be trying, and as a result no mere genin or some such character would last long facing these challenges. The group would be A rank+ only.
3: To make sure that the group stays diverse, it would be in the best interest of the group for each member to have a different specialty. This is to avoid the entire group being specialists in one brand of kenjutsu for example.
4: A character in the group would not be able to have outside knowledge of what they will be facing, the idea of the group is that they will be encountering new, never before seen creatures, and if needed fighting them as well. It would not fit if one character somehow knew everything about these creatures.
5: Be active, an thread involving a group of 4 or more players can easily get stale and difficult to get through. This problem is only magnified if each member takes a couple weeks to make a sort post. Of course, things can change easily in real life, that's to be expected. No one's going to hold something against you if you take a break from the group for a bit, or anything like that. Just try and avoid entering a new thread if you know you're only going to be able to even be on NSRP once every other week or so.
6: This is a team, so be a team player. Personal development in the group is cool, but don't go overboard with it, and try help other users with their characters development as well, this last rule is pretty basic stuff I would think, but I'm putting it out here anyway.

Edit: Thanks to Ginja's insight (reminding me of something I forgot about) it doesn't seem likely that the group will be based in suna. If you wish to join feel free to make a suggestion as to where you'd like the group to be (or if you feel the group would best not be part of one of the 5 villages at all)
Edit the Second: The group will no longer be Suna based, instead it will focus of a group of missing-nin brought to the western part of the continent, to areas such as the land of Owls, and the Land of Curses.
